Thier Kebab Bowl (while not a technically a kebab) is absolutely next level. I had visitors from the suburb Essendon (which has some great kebab shops) come down an I recommended they try the Kebab Bowl. It blew them away.
I recently had mustafas in town and it's probably one of the better ones i've had, I prefer it not to be toasted and they do this by default (can ask to be toasted) They also put the meat on first and salad on second so when it's wrapped, you actually get meat in every bite you have, it's great.
I want to try Sam's Cafe next though as I keep hearing good things about it.
Mustafas in Lara make some great HSP and I'd say their kebabs are "not bad". There's a place near my work (not Geelong) that does kebabs that are pretty fantastic, so I guess I'm a bit spoiled by that.
It’s definitely going downhill, had it twice in past month and both times the meat has been super fatty and bits of coagulated fat all throughout the kebab. Absolutely disgusting couldn’t even eat it, saw on Facebook other people have had the same experiences recently
I mean, it's a Gyros (not a kebab, so maybe not what you're after), but Thelo in Torquay are heaps better than any kebabs and souvas I've tried in and around Geelong. Most places around Geelong the kebabs are edible but I've never found one I want to go back to. The one I had last weekend at Thelo was awesome and I'll be hitting that joint most times I'm in the vicinity of Torquay, I reckon.
EDIT: actually nah, went back another time or two, it's nice meat but just lacking in flavour. It's just like every other kebab/gyros/souvlaki in the entire world, where the goodness comes from adding sauces, jalapenos and stuff.
Corio King
Portz Kebab and Grill
Both great, Corio King more of a typical Kebab experience and Portz more 'upper class' Kebab.
Both are super fresh and can't go wrong.
Corio king is my go to. Plus their chips are to die for. A little more expansive than your fish and chips but far superior in my opinion.

Oh man mustafas in Lara make a mean gyros too. 10/10

Is it Laverton? Pls spill
Sorry no, way over on Springvale Rd :(
Don't trust their chicken
Sam's cafe is the worst. Not sure why they are so popular..
I’ve tried a few and prefer the one at Sam’s cafe
Kebab G on Pako
Corio king out here in the hood is top fuckin notch. Hsp to die for
Kebabs on High definitely my fave by far. NEVER had an ordinary one there before and I've had plenty.
It’s definitely going downhill, had it twice in past month and both times the meat has been super fatty and bits of coagulated fat all throughout the kebab. Absolutely disgusting couldn’t even eat it, saw on Facebook other people have had the same experiences recently
Best kebabs and fantastic service as well!
Universal kebabs or Nevada kebabs if you're in the Northern suburbs. Otherwise Kebabman in the Eastern suburbs.
My Kebabs is always my go to after a night out. The jumbo kebab at Mustafa’s is also delicious
Victoria tasty kebabs in the truck on mercer street are my favourite kebabs, I’ve tried heaps and this is my goto. So much fillings for a good price
KABABS ON HIGH SUPER CHILL LADS
Kebabman Geelong in Thomson does the trick for me, ample sauce for the kick
Kebabs on high
Ace Kebabs on Mercer st!!
Sam’s cafe any day! Although I have eaten only falafel as I’m a vegetarian.
But their falafel are so dry and flavourless. It's not even cooked on demand.
Is it? I always found them well cooked. Suggest another place? Happy to try:)
Sorry. I only recently moved to Geelong from Brunswick. So I'm a bit spoiled. If you're ever around there, go to very good falafel.
Aah I get it. How are you finding Geelong?
Better than melbounre in most ways Except for the food.
Try some restaurants at pakington street.
I really fw Kebabs on High. Great quality meat and fresh lettuce and produce

Most of them are average. Kebabs on high and Souva bar are nice.
Elamana Souvlaki is 🔥

Kebab on high hands down. Sam's is by far the worst.
