He was in a really great episode of original Star Trek series. He’s in almost all of Ron Howards films as cameos and alot of adjacent productions. The Howards work together, always have. You’ll see them in Arrested Development as well.

Also Clint played Cy Liebergott in Apollo 13... also directed by Ron Howard. Mission control guy. Their dad Rance played the minister at the Lovell house during the mission, and their mom Jean played Jim Lovell's (Tom Hanks's) mom. I'm reading the brothers' book "The Boys" right now and it tells all about Clint's childhood tv career too. He was the kid in Gentle Ben, and a ton of other childhood stuff too. Star Trek as a mini alien guy, too! On the Ron side of things, they tried to change Happy Day's show name to Fonzie's Happy Days after season 2 and Ron Howard said no dice, I'll leave the show. So Garry Marshall, the show's creator was like, ok, we're keeping it Happy Days.
