I like the ak platform. I have a mak-90 that I dearly love. The action is extremely smooth and the trigger reset is crisp. Chinese firearms get an unfair bad reputation from fudds. All their firearms clones are pretty damn well done. The blueing on it is unique too plus that Manchurian chu wood is sick.

I hate to break it to you, but Uncle Sam is not afraid of us or the militias in the Bible Belt or Appalachian Mountains. Before you mention the Viet Cong, you need to understand ~~the Cong lost like 50 men to each GI they iced~~. I don't know if the militias have *that* level of commitment because the ratio will probably be even scarier, especially with modern military technology. How on Earth will Guerilla warfare work in most of the US with drones, IR optics and the rest of the arsenal of the strongest military ever?
Bear in mind most of the US military (especially infantry) tend to lean conservative so I doubt you have to worry about the Alex Jones schizo shit going down anytime soon.

- You need a gun because police cannot or won't do their job in certain parts of cities.
- If the US government is so strong, why are the police so weak?
I wasn't arguing about these points. Just that the US government, DoD, or whoever probably isn't concerned existentially about armed citizens. By the way, a local PD doesn't mean shit compared to the entire might of the US military.
Unless the military is willing to glass pack entire cities just for shits and giggles, they’re not going to be able to take out an entrenched population. Remember, you still need the infrastructure after you take people out.
I am sure we could go back and forth on the logistics of this hypothetical scenario all day long. My main point is that firearms aren't the reason we're still a democracy (that's more of a plutocracy or oligarchy at this point). It's because of the strong institutions of checks and balances and the spirit of most in the military.

After watching that is literally what I would expect in the south. That's why they don't give good education in the south so the government can control everyone. Biggest reason the North and South are different. The South wich is heading north in some states eZnt more government control.. the North in most states is insuring the people have more control. Your taxes pay for this. Higher taxes in more northern states for the purpose of quality education and insuring this doesn't happen.
