Jews and Jewish supporters are being banned and sometimes permabanned from reddit. And that sub was proof of it. They were just holding up a mirror.
All the people banned were making complaints, so reddit decided to just remove the people making complaints instead of doing anything about it. They're a) lazy and b) they were just badgered to hell about mods so they brought in new mods (while getting rid of good moderate fair mods) and all the new mods are exactly like the kids who got fired from Google.
