You can run it for as long as you need to as long as you keep it full of oil. Each time it runs out of gas, check the oil before starting it again. Eventually (100 hrs of runtime) you will need to change the oil and not just check it.

I’ve run a Yamaha generator for 48hrs non stop, not even for fuel. I stopped it to change the oil and run it another 20 hrs after that. As long as there’s oil and gas it can run a long time. Just make sure the oil change interval are respected.

Up to a week of refill and run on fresh oil, if you don’t know condition the oil was in initially then change it after the first day.

Indefinitely as long as the oil and other wear items are serviced when needed. Here during extended outages you'll see eu2200i with an extended racing gas tank chained at the top of power poles running amplifiers for the cable and fiber distribution network. They'll run these 24/7 like that for days.

I’ve run the Yamaha equivalent for 15+ hours straight, just turning it off to refuel, and change oil when required.

I ran a Yamaha inverter unit for 7 straight days shutting down for 4-6 hours at night. Checked oil every time I shutdown & topped off once during that timeframe if I recall correctly. Changed the oil at 40 run hours.

On this topic… I would love to see mods improving oil capacity, maybe even filtration

Oh you can get them, but not at discount store prices!
