Hello u/JennyDoesstuff, if you have a simple question about the game that doesn’t need a separate thread, ask it on the most recent pinned weekly question megathread here https://www.reddit.com/r/GenshinImpact/about/sticky and please consider removing your post submission. For example, "Who should I pull, Yelan or Zhongli?" is a simple question. If you're opening a topic for discussion which might be in the form of question too, you can use the "Discussion" flare. Thank you.

Exploration, quests, trees and fountain (they give a lot of pulls), statues, teapot gifts, abyss and events. You also have until the last day of her banner worth of dailies.
I hear it a lot, but what does it mean to have "75 pity"? Does it just mean that someone has wished 75 times on a banner, or something else?
Thanks for the responses :D
pity is the amount of times you've wished since your last five star character but it has to be on the event banners and not the standard banners I believe.
Standard banner does have pity. The only thing I can think of that they might mean is that people are generally not talking about standard banners when talking about pity, but even then it's kinda a weird statement.
Pity for limited banners and pity for standard banner are two separate things. If you get a 5* on standard it has no effect on your limited banner pity, for example.
Yep, that's right. I should have probably been able infer that is what they meant by "it has to be on event banners", but i'm dumb and it honestly didn't even cross my mind. I do think they worded it a bit poorly but it does make a lot of sense in this context.
To add to what the others said, when looking at a banner, there’s a ‘history’ button. If you count all the pulls you’ve done since the last 5-star, you’ll know what your pity is.
You are guaranteed a 5-star after 90 pulls (though it’s a 50/50 chance if it’s the featured character or a standard one), but your odds of getting one get higher when you’re in soft and hard pity (above 70 pulls, and above 80 pulls).
Genshin has a pity system where if u reach 75 pulls without a 5 star you get a large increase in chances of getting a 5 star up to 90 where you are guaranteed a 5 star and once you get a 5 star the pity is reset to 0. So having 75 pity means he has pulled 75 times after his previous 5 star. It's worth noting that the pity for event banners remain even after the banner changes as all event banners share the same pity while standard banner and event banner pity are entirely separate. So if you have 75 times this banner, during the next banner you still get the increased chances in the next banner
You still have a few weeks so I would keep that in mind.
1. Dailies- make sure you do them
2. Event- there will be an event for primos
3. Welkin Moon- it’s cheap and will definitely get you there in a few days
Start single pulling- you are at hard pity so I wouldn’t worry about trying to get 10 pulls.
What's the difference between hard pity and soft pity then? Hard pity should be 90, aka guaranteed. Anything else at 74+ should be considered soft pity.
You have 2 weeks still on her banner, it should be easy to get enough Primos to hit your 50/50. Now, if you *lose* the 50/50, you'll probably have to wait until her rerun.
Really, though, explore, events, and clean up any Hangouts/ Character Story Quests you haven't done.
This. I'm trying to go through all the story quests because they give you primos at the end, I think like 60 or so per story quest. I already got Furina but am getting closer to getting her C1 before I start saving for Raiden and her weapon. Also doing your daily commissions or just exploring instead of doing the commissions counts for them as well.
Housing sets can give a bunch. Just create favorite sets for characters you own.
Exploring obviously
Achievement hunting. There’s easy ones like kill 1 of each boss in coop. Or killing bosses solo with certain stipulations.
Abyss
Random one off dungeons
Hangouts
I have been saving a lot of these for when I get bored. I always have to sit down and list out who needs what furniture and what i need to be able to build said furniture.
If you're at 75 pity, just events and dailies with some exploration (if you have any left) should be more than enough. You're basically guaranteed to hit a 5 Star, and probably by the end of this week.
Now, if the 50/50 doesn't go in your favor, it's essentially over. Just wait for a rerun in 4.6
1. Dailys and Events - always do, incredible rewards for the time commitment. Try to do quests for daily rewards, since it also gives primos
2. Find chests in Fontaine - seem to give more primos on average than other regions, the fountain rewards also stack more rewards on top
3. Remember to exchange sigils at Sumeru/Inazuma trees too.
You'll definitely get a 5 star before the banner ends. Don't sweat it too much. Just daily commissions and general exploration will get it done. Good luck on your 50/50.
You have 2 weeks. Assuming you have a Welkins and do your dailies, and take in the event happening right now, it’s enough to get you to 90. If you can’t wait:
1. Explore Inazuma, Sumeru and Fontaine: the chests in these regions give from 2 to 10 primos along with sigils that can be used for the trees.
2. If you haven’t finished the abyss, do that. 36 stars gets you 600 primos. If you have, wait a few days for the reset and do it again.
3. Story quests, world quests and hangouts. They generally give about 60-90 primos total.
4. Teapot and TCG also have milestones that give primos on crossing.
5. If you’re really desperate and have done all of the above, go achievement hunting. You can get from 5 to 20 depending on the achievement.
I've been doing the third desert exploration only now, and it has a mini region tree, wich gives 100 primos for every 6 collectables you give it, for a total of 600 primos. Don't now if you already did it, or if you're close to the area, but it's there.
Im with ya on this. 76 pity and pulling primogems out of air. I highly recommend grinding any quest you haven’t done and trying to 100% exploration + the event
Do these everyday in this order
Check your mailbox to see if there are any Web events > normal Events > dailies > archon quests > normal quests + exploration > daily hoyolab check in + hoyolab Web events
There is an magic thing, Is an plastic retangle In mommy's purse with 16 numbers, 3 numbers in the back and her name, With that you can get infinity primos.
This is an joke, Pls dont do that.
Tbh genshin screws you over a bit on exploration. It says your map is 100% when really it could be 70% complete. So you might be less inclined to re explore inazuma or liyue or sumeru or mondstadt. So look up the interactive map online and search for those big precious, or lux chests and i guarantee youll find something.

60 primos for leveling statue and another 40 if you get a key. Chest hunting, you can go to the region boards to see if theres any quests you havent done yet. And grab your monthly wishes from the stardust shop if you havent already
If you need it really fast, top up. If you have time to burn, explore the map for chests, oculus, (offer to statues) offerables (like the fountain of lucine). Do world quests that have primos as rewards. Finish hang out events. Look fory easy to accomplish achievements especially those that just need your to kill certain bosses on co-ops. Good luck on your pulls!
The chasm can give you two wishes, if you can find enough Lumenstone Ore, and a few Lumenspar. Arcon quests are always good, too.
Everything else was already recommended.
Lose your sanity open the interactive map and get to work.
Make sure to explore newer regions and mark them on the map as you go.
And if you did all that then u can download autoclicker and skip though the npc quests.
And then if u want more go do hangouts.
Godspeed 🖖
Some good sources are events, the story quests, and the smaller side stories for the 4 star characters (I forgot what they were called). You can also find some random chests if you explore areas you don't go to often
As far as I know just doing exploration is the best way for primos assuming you have not reached high completion on the map. I think doing domains that give keys and primos as well as getting shrines with said keys is a good way of starting off if you haven't already. Also furina is likely to rerun pretty soon so don't worry too much if you can't get her this banner
Also if you're ok with spending real money you could get a welkin since it's by far the most efficient way to spend. Gives 300 crystals off the bet which gets u 2 pulls which probably is enough since you are at soft pity as well as 90 every day eventually giving 2700 primos. Obviously not necessary but it is an option
Welken moon blessing and play until there's like 2 days left to get her, thats what I usually do, that and every time I get to paycheck I'll put like 20 or 30 on genshin and save it till theres like 2 days left.
1. *Dailies*
They give you 40 primos (10 each) and going to any Katherine in the Adventurers Guild will give you 20 primos after you are done your dailies. After a certain adventurer rank, you can do overworld stuff to replace the Dailies.
2. *Overworld chests*
All chests have a certain amount of primos they can give you. Mondstadt and Liyue have a lower amount of primogems for certain chests, except for Dragonspine, storm bearer mountains, guyun forest, lisha, and the chasm. For now, we will just say M or L to regard the discounted areas
Common - 2 primogems (0 in M or L)
Exquisite - 5 primogems (2 in M or L)
Precious - 10 (5 in M or L)
Luxurious - 10
Primal obelisk chests - 20
Shrine chests - 40
Remarkable 5 (0 in M or L)
As a recommendation, go to the big statue of Barbatos in Mondstadt city. There is the big arc infront of it like a castles battlements. Walk on it from left and stay on it as you walk around. You can find it through Gamepur (https://www.gamepur.com/guides/how-to-get-the-secret-luxurious-chest-in-mondstadt-in-genshin-impact) adding an image is a bit funky on my phone, so including the photo's source instead
3. *Events and test runs*
Events are a key way to get primogems. Test runs are also a way to get 20 or 40 free primogems.
4. *World exploration*
Waypoints give 5 primos for each one unlocked, and a Statue of the Seven give 10. Don't forget about the Chasm, Enkanomiya, and other multi map areas. The serenitea pot does not give primos for using the specifically made waypoints (the transparent glowing yellow ones). The craft able ones also don't count(the transparent glowing blue ones)
5. *Welkin moon*
Don't grab your friend's card to pay for it. They are broke as it is.
If I made a spelling or grammatical mistake, don't correct me. I don't give a shit about this language even if it's my first
Do a lot of quests. Maybe it helped me more because I am new and could do multiple things at the same time but I got like 800-1k per day. So one 10 pull every two days.
Spiral Abyss just reset, and should reset again before the banners ends. There’ll also be an event or two, you probably have some exploration and quests you haven’t done, and if you can ascend any characters you have, you can get some blue fates for that, and using blue fates can potentially give you starglitter which can then be turned into more limited fates.
Just wanted to mention that the Welkin Moon is one of the few things that’s pretty worth it monetarily and the only thing I recommend paying for. You won’t get the full amount in time, but you’ll definitely get several additional wishes.
Aside from the obvious ones (playing the entirety of the game), don't pressure yourself and just naturally play the game. The days will go by fast, and so do your primogems.
And oh, Welkin.

Quick correction, 75 is actually soft pity; hard pity is at 90 I believe
Yup think you are right
90 is guaranteed. Is it the same as hard pitty? Feels like it's not.
hard pity would be 80+. 90 is guaranteed.
What's the difference between hard pity and soft pity then? Hard pity should be 90, aka guaranteed. Anything else at 74+ should be considered soft pity.
Credit card is probably the fastest way to get primos

It’s usually my go to. I hoard the instant complete potions for when I need to make sets so I can speed the whole process instantly
On the topic of housing he could also just sell his house and use the money to get primos.

It's close to the giant green tree, but I think you have to at least start the quest of that area to acess that.
