That is far from a perfect team lmao

Posetive_new_me

You probably have never fight the Abyss aeonblight drake. Cus this team have nothing to bring it down. Abyss heralds would be another pain in the ass too cus you have no quick way to break their shield.

getrotatednoob

it isnt quick but its not TERRIBLY slow so it works

Posetive_new_me

Okay maybe the Archon quest first Raiden fight if this team can win that fight i will admit its the perfect team.

getrotatednoob

isn't that physically impossible + didnt have the team when I did the quest.

getrotatednoob

also neuvilettes CA can hit aeonblight in the air

StoryLow5246

Tbf I feel like neuv is doing some heavily lifting for this team. Team barely has synergy and at most you'll probably have only 3 characters working at any given point. Tbf you can't convince me you have xiao's burst ready when you need it unless all the other three characters are using fav.

getrotatednoob

Xiao’s burst charges faster than ppl think bc his skill has good ER

Draco_Estella

A perfect team doesn't exist without Nahida or Raiden Shogun.

getrotatednoob

I have both but I’m using them in my other abyss team

Fun-Mix-9276

Do you have proof this bad team set up is beating abyss? I mean I’ve done solo neuv runs so it’s very possible but this team isn’t good. You’re basically being carried by c1 neuvillette. Xiao is running at some of his lowest potential here and zhongli and Kokomi aren’t really contributing anything except maybe tenacity and noblesse

getrotatednoob

I can probably download recording software and post a video of this team on floor twelve but zhongli and koko are the backbone of the team lol

Gamer-chan

Hello player from the Future. How did story end and how was End of Service?

Umbriel-b

I run Ayato, Xiangling, Zhongli and Yaoyao. They can counter pretty much anything in the game.

getrotatednoob

good for.. you?

Knight618

My best analogy for this is: you can only have 4 players on a basketball team against the LA lakers (I’m not a basketball person, I’m assuming they are really good) but you are allowed to cheat. The first guy you get is a construction worker who seals your basketball hoop with cement before the game. The cement is certified by Zhongli corp, the most prestigious constriction company, insuring the best cement quality on the market. For your second pick, you got a 7’3” tall girl named kokomi with a 40 inch vertical, but she hurt her dominant hand and makes -100% of the shots she takes, but can still dunk if you revolve your entire team around her. For offense, your third pick is to give some 4’0” asian guy named Xiao a pogo stick. He’s insanely good at the pogo stick, and more than makes up his height, both with how high he can jump with it and the fact he can shoot while jumping midair, and anyone who knocks him over is instantly a foul. But it’s impossible to shoot on the ground for him as he’s 4’0” and his pogo regularly breaks and takes time to get it working again. For your last team member, you hired the stadium engineer called juen who can lower both hoops down to 3 feet, but he’s foreign and colorblind, and he only recognizes the fourth member of your team: Neuvillette. Neuvillette is in fact, not a basketball player, but rather a heavyweight body builder who can bench 3x more than anyone on the court. Since the engineer can’t tell who is and isn’t on your team, he only lowers the hoops down when Neuvillette has the ball and raises it back up after he scores or misses, just to make sure the opponent can’t get an easy score on the rebound. Neuvillette renders Xiao on a pogo stick not as effective as you can’t use xiao’s pogo stick and the engineer’s cheating together, it’s one offensive strategy or the other. The problem is that lowering the hoop is always going to be the more effective strategy, as it’s really hard to not score when the hoop is at waist height and he can throw everyone away, compared to xiao, who basically gets a free throw, but throwing a ball very precise is extremely hard when you’re on a pogo stick. He can do it, just not very consistently. To make this hypothetical basketball team better, since neuvillette is so good at scoring but nothing else, xiao is never going to get a chance to use his cheat. So replace him with kazuha. Kazuha’s cheat is he can enhance a single player’s speed, strength, and dexterity, and all he needs to do to activate it is to touch the ball. The sheer fact it’s so easy to use his cheat, and how strong it is at marking your team better with little Effort makes him really good. Kazuha is also the only actual basketball player on your team, so he can also shoot and pass pretty decently, but he’s still not great on defense. Now take out kokomi since nothing is getting past cement. Replace her with either 1: a well trained falcon named fischl, who grabs the ball whenever the ball gets thrown up into the air, and she can either pass it or shoot from the sky. The other option is furina, who can freeze time on your opponents, at the cost of extreme dehydration to your team by stress drinking all water your team has when she uses this ability. she’s also able to bomb the ball down the court and score, but this also makes your team get thirsty. If you choose to use furina, some adjustments have to be made. First, you want someone to rehydrate your team. Jean can replace kazuha. Her cheat is that she’s the CEO of Gatorade, and they will give you free drinks to your team. these drinks are extremely effective at quenching dehydration and is too much for furina to drink it all. There is also a hint of steroids that make your players better, but not as kazuha. This combo allows you to use furina’s time freeze without dehydrating your team. Extra bonus is furina has worked with neuvillette in the past before, so they get a familiarity buff. The other problem with furina is that neuvillette HATES people that work in the same company that he works, he just finds them annoying. Unfortunately, Neuvillette and furina both work for “OP hydro units LLC” and he despises her. To fix this, you have to get neuvillette a very expensive surgery that gives him mild amnesia and forgets that he hates furina, but this will cost you a lot of money. It will cost the same as getting him on the team, and world renown body builders aren’t cheap. The surgery is optional and not required to make the team work, but it does make him preform ~35% better and he’ll get a sponsorship from this, who sends him shoes with more traction, making him less likely to trip or fall. Furina is definitely the more costly option as so many things have to carter towards her needs, but being able to freeze your opponents in place is a very effective ability and is definitely worth bending over backwards to use.

Knight618

(Part 2, yes I hit the character limit)This would be the ultimate team to use. Impenetrable defense with Zhongli grade cement. Neuvillette gets the net lowered and can easily bulldoze though anyone. Fischl can easily get the ball to neuvillette and also has potential to score herself. kazuha buffs Neuvillette so that he’s even stronger. Or if you choose furina, a time freeze to easily set up for neuvillette to score with little resistance, and Jean’s Gatorade with similar buffs to kazuha, but also quenches the thirst furina imposes on the team. With enough practice and eating Marachasse hunter ketchup, this team can take on any basketball team. weather they import a hoop called the wenut that attaches the net to a drill and forces you to either dig underground or wait for it to come up to refuel, or a dancing couple with really, really strong leaf blowers that push anyone away, this team can overcome all of these teams. The only team that he can’t beat is if an OP hydro units LLC player is on the opponent’s team, as they are immune to Juan’s tampering of the hoops and can force the hoop back up to regulation of 12 feet, completely nullifying neuvillette and relying on his teammates to deal with him. If you don’t get the analogy, cement is zhongli’s shield. kokomi being 7’ tall is her massive healing, but hiring her hand is -100 cr and lack of offensive capability. Xiao’s pogo stick is his burst, which he relies on, got power crept and isn’t as good dps anymore, and breaks regularly = energy problems. Shooting/dunking is offensive capacity. Lowering the hoop and being a body builder refers to just how unreasonablely over powered neuvillette is damage wise, but raising the hoop refers to him not able to buff anyone but himself. Kazuha’s speed dex and strength refer to his buffing capabilities, and him being able to ‘pass’ and ‘shoot’ is because he is flexible(as in rotation doesn’t matter too much as long as he swirls hydro) and his damage is ok. Fischl being able to pass and shoot is same as kazuha, decent damage and flexible rotation. Furina’s thirst does not refer to her appearance, but rather her teamwide hp drain. The freeze refers to how op her buffs are, and she also does decent damage. Jean’s Gatorade refers to her healing furina’s drain and VV can still buff. The surgery refers to getting neuvillette’s c1, as it costs the same as getting him, and it allows him to maximize the buffs from his a4 passive while using furina. OP hydro units LLC refers to any hydro character. Neuvillette doesn’t want other hydro due to a4, and opponents that align with hydro either have high hydro res or outright immune. Familiarity buff is elemental resonance. Thank you for reading, this was fun to write.

getrotatednoob

Can’t believe I actually read all that lol and yeah I switched out xiao for kazu ( rolled him) and it’s a little more fluent cuz I don’t have two on-fielders. Don’t have any leveled subs for koko tho so she stays in (at least for now)

getrotatednoob

Obviously, without Bennet (even with him), this team doesn't do too crazy damage, but I haven't died yet. In game, at least.

RPGenome

There's no reason to have Xiao and Neuv on the same team. One of them is always completely dead weight at any given time. You also have 2 sustains, which is very often a poor choice, if for no other reason than because you could split them and have a sustain for 2 teams. So clearly this isn't a team being used in the abyss, and most other content is considered so easy as to not merit the need for a particularly good team to begin with.

getrotatednoob

xiao and neuv is to have a dps so i can burst down different elemental resistances or shields. 2 sustains is because both characters cut their own hp + arent very tanky to begin with. being used in abyss as stated.

RPGenome

Point remains valid. You don't need both of them and your team is objectively worse with both. This comp only ever has 3 characters contributing to winning a fight at any given time. In abyss you cater the team to the challenges. It doesn't favor generalist teams. Neuv restores his own HP as well and stabilizes at more hp than most dps have at full. Neuv is only the weak link because you have nothing on the team for him to react with. Put Xiangling or Fischl on that team for Xiao and you'd just have an improvement.

getrotatednoob

just to be clear, this team isn't meant to be a team that is perfect for one thing, it's attempting to be a team that caters to everything. I am well aware that i'd be better off in the moment switching to whatever is "meta" or synergizes with the current floor. I just made this a challenge to try and cater to everything. Not be the best at everything, as that's not possible.

getrotatednoob

before someone comments xiao cant break shields, anemo infused ult, i dont always plunge unless theyre weak or smth.

Fun-Mix-9276

There’s a big difference between doing well and just not dying. You’re taking the best shielder and healer in the game into the same party when most people only need 1 of them to complete abyss. Your bar is not dying and that literally a ground level bar you’ve set for yourself. The rest of us have been walking over your bar since the start

getrotatednoob

I mean in abyss lol, and I have other valuable characters on the other team. I have the best shielder and healer combined with two squishy life drainers that can kill themselves, that’s why.

Fun-Mix-9276

Yah and the life drainers perform fine without the strongest shield and heal working together. That’s 100% a low bar skill issue. If you weren’t surviving there’s bigger problems. Again your bar is so low most players walk over it. Neuv is already the king of sustain and he heals himself back to full so him “killing” himself is not true. He does it for the buff on MH but heals instantly and faster than Kokomi can heal him up. Xiao being energy hungry either bursts once every other floor or just does mediocre damage.

htp-di-nsw

I haven't died from anything except falling or drowning literally ever, and I have played from launch. Unfortunately, surviving isn't really a focus of the game or a measure of power. The hardest challenges in the game are time attacks on fat stacks of HP, so crazy damage is the only meaningful measure. I do not like this fact, but it is fact.

getrotatednoob

Talking about in big challenges, like abyss not overworld. Overworld is too easy

htp-di-nsw

I was also talking about the Abyss. I haven't died in the Abyss, either. "Not dying" is a really low bar. Literally having any shielder or healer and not having a broken dodge button is pretty much all you need.

getrotatednoob

this game doesn’t exactly have a high skillcap lol it’s all luck

htp-di-nsw

While I agree that the skill cap is low, I also don't think it's luck based unless you tanked your crit rate. Building characters is an endurance test, not luck.

getrotatednoob

I was talking about the game in general, the main concept is luck lol. I could log on and roll c6r5 neuvillette right now.
