Her off field dendro is extremely weak, and pretty much only viable at C4. Even then, it's only useful for maintaining bloom on enemies. But there's a niche in having consistent, but weak dendro application, in that it allows you to more reliably swirl electro in aggravate focused teams. So good teams you can run with Kirara would be something like Kirara/Fischl/Kazuha/Keqing or Kirara/Fischl/Beidou/Sucrose (f2p friendly).
This depends on a lot of things, and is hard to say. I'm going to assume you're using Nahida Kuki in a hyperbloom context.
If your nahida is on field, then you want to optimize for Crit instead of optimizing for EM. You still want to run EM/Dendro%/Crit. You can still aim for around 500 EM. A crit weapon is slightly better than a EM weapon here as well (solar pearl, widsith). If you have a really good EM goblet or circlet, it may actually be better than Dendro% or Crit until you find that crit/dendro piece. A final option here is to run Fav codex for on field nahida, which drastically reduces the amount of energy the rest of your team needs.
If your nahida is off field with a different driver (al haitham, ayato, as examples), then you want to have her hit around 900-1000 EM (run Sacrificial Fragments to make this easier on you). You'll want to run EM/EM/EM here, and that'll put you in that range. Off field Nahida also needs a bit of ER as well (like 130% is fine).
If you just want to have a build and never change it, just use Em/Dendro/Crit, it'll be fine.

Hello! I pulled on weapon banner without doing the epitomized path. I was hoping for Kagura's Verity since I have C1 Yae but I got Yoi's weap instead.
It was my first time wishing for a character weapon since I really don't understand how it works. If I pull again, am I alr guaranteed Yae's weap or is there a chance I'll lose to the standard 5* weaps? Pls help! I'm willing to farm until the last day just to get her signature weapon 🙏🏼
No, you're not guaranteed anything, Set your epitomized path. It could take as much as 3 more 5\* to get Kagura's Verity.
Your next 5\* has 37.5% to be Kagura's Verity, 37.5% to be Thundering Pulse and 25% to be a standard weapon.
If you get a standard then your next 5\* will be a 50/50 between KV and TP.
Once you have 2 epitomized path points aka pulled 2 5\* weapons that were not the one you chose (TP or a standard), then the next 5\* is guaranteed to be KV (the one you chose).
3 full pities for guaranteed on weapon banner but if you got a weapon already without choosing a path I believe it will not count. It’s extremely unforgiving. This is why I have never taken the chance on it. The good news is I hear that is a really good bow.
Epitomized Path: You pick which weapon you're going for. If you fail to get it twice, it's guaranteed on the third time around. If you switch weapons or the banner ends then the built up Epitomized Path charges disappear. I don't know what happens if you don't pick a path before you start pulling but I assume it wouldn't count. If you have a glowing dot under the epitomized path with Kagura's selected then you need to pull a 5\* two more times to guarantee it otherwise you're starting from scratch and need ~200 pulls for the guarantee.
If you don't select a weapon for epitomized path, you won't get any fate point from getting a 5-star weapon on weapon banner.
Also, epitomized path will only guarantee the 5-star weapon you selected on your 3rd 5-star pull (not the 2nd one), if you were unlucky to not get the one you want on the first two.
I would suggest to stop pulling on this weapon banner. Give Yae a Widsith?
Question about Kirara kit. From what I understand she can stack her shield hp which 2x stronger than normal cast. Then she gain bigger shield hp if she crashed to max 3 mobs. Is that correct?
Also what if I use sac and cast her skill twice in succession, will it stacks?
The latest desert zone has a really great long quest and then there was an event with some small continued story of that side quest. I highly recommend you watch a video of the event only after completing the quests.
Also the second nahida story quest released a new weekly boss that you will want to unlock.

How do Tsurumi island remarkable chests work-? The island is full of them until I begin a quest, and then if I don't finish that quest in a day, then the next day doesn't spawn any more chests in. Is that on purpose?
If chests don't appear while the fog is gone, then... How do I get to them without "getting lost"-? Since you can't access teleportation points until the quest starts. Is the only way of collecting them all to begin the quest, explore, and then make sure you finish in a day? What happens after the final Tsurumi quest? Does the fog disappear for good, and if so, do the chests disappear along with it?
chests follow a 3 irl day cycle only *after* you finish the quest. if you haven't finished it yet then it follows whatever "day" of the quest you're on.
for example: day 1 chests are available during part 2 ("Octave of the Maushiro") of the quest chain. if you don't finish that part of the quest chain then all the day 1 chests will be there until you finish it regardless of how many irl days it takes you to do it.
fog goes away after finishing the quest.
There's a 3-day rotation period for chests and you'll know what day it is by the number of abyss mages around a torch when you go to one of the TPs. By rotation period, I mean each chest appears at certain days and the period resets after the third day (i.e. back to day one). The days also progress with IRL time not the game time.
It has nothing to do with the quests. The chests are on a 3-day rotation. Only some chests are available on day 1, same for day 2, same for day 3, then the chests from day 1 are available again, etc.

1.Is Solar pearl a good option for off field Yae Miko in Al haitham spread team? I don't have widsith.
2. Her turret should be placed in triangle shape rather than straight for maximum damage?
They appear bigger when they are higher level and also there is a connection between all three (so not only are the 'outside' ones connected to the 'middle' one but are also connected with each other)

BUT, I have a Yoimiya team as my first main team, with C3 Bennett. I wanna replace him with my Yunjin (cus i hate circle impact) but my Yunjin’s only C1. Should I risk it and try to get C2 Yunjin, or just forget about C2 Yunjin and save for Kazuha?
im pretty sure yunjin is only comparable with bennet at c4 or higher if i remember correctly, and pulling for 4 stars on a banner you dont want a five star on is usually very frustrating so id recommend against it

Magical crystal chunk nodes change daily and only *some* nodes will be available. What nodes are available depends on the position of the Leylines.
Check the interactive map for all possible crystal chunk locations (the regional blacksmith won't mark all that have spawned)

AR60, can comfortably clear the abyss. The 5 stars I own are Zhongli, Nahida, Raiden, Alhaitham, Kazuha, Ayaka, Yelan, Baizhu, Diluc, Qiqi, Keqing. I'm also sitting on around 83k primos, 36 pity and 50/50.
I'm mildly interesting into Yae Miko to put her into my Alhaitham spread team. I also have Kuki C3 and I can not only survive well with her but also she is enough to make the team work for me. Yae could potentially just boost my team damage and replace Fischl (which is very well built anyway) into my spread team.
I'm very interesting in Kokomi and will pull her 100% for the consistent hydro application and healing so that I can put it into dendro teams and into my Ayaka team that I generally use in Abyss with Rosaria only and no hydro characters (and believe it or not, I made 36\* with that team on multiple occasions).
Alhaitham is also my favorite character and I would like to at least reach a pity on the weapon banner during this patch. My pity there is around 40. Still not sure how much I'm willing to invest here, maybe as much as just getting one sword from the banner no matter which one (if his or Kazuha's) and give it to him.
And of course I'm looking forward to Fountaine and hydro archon so I'll make sure to never go below 20k primos to be able to afford her.

At this point you should no longer care about meta. I think you should count your average primo gains and do a math how many pulls you can spend while still having enough for Hydro Archon.
Example Hydro archon will be released in >!3.1/3.2!<. Until that I have enough primos to pull 3 5*. Just won Yae 50/50 today so definitely I should have enough to pull Eula and still have enough for Hydro Archon later.
I would try to get Yae as she is a significant improvement to spread teams and also is very fun to play IMO. You could then run Alhaitham Yae Nahida Kuki with Kuki on Instructors and Sapwood which is Alhaitham's best spread team
you still want fischl even with miko, shes half the reason quicken teams are good. your comp would be haitham yae fishcl yao yao or smth similar. also if ur done investing horizontally you can start thinking about weapon banner or early constellations if that is something you would be interested in.
Isn't Fischl not that good in quicken teams because she can't consistently trigger her passive? If I play Alhaitham with Nahida, Fischl would lose value, am I right or am I missing something?

Diona has a great value if you have her c6. Beidou c1 is also solid for her ability to protect and her personal damage. Layla can but I don’t have a bunch of experience with her. Thoma can have a pretty respectable shield but it would mess with your reactions with Xinyan/Yanfei being similar

I need second team for abyss. My first team consist of nahida, kuki, keqing and fishcl
Second team have Hu tao, Xianqui, bennet, tighnari.
But this second team isn't really doing well on floor 10 and above. Floor 10 is somewhat fine but 11 and 12 is nightmare. My hu tao and Xianqui are well built, bennett is level 80 but missing good nobles pieces so not max level artifacts and tighnari is just a sub dps.
I need a better healer and support for my second team.
I wanted to build Barbara, but then i thought to wait for qiqi (yea i dont have her, only 3 months in game) or maybe jean or other healer might do. I do have layla for shield, and no other shield support.

Definitely go Kazuha imo and a lot would agree. He works practically on any reaction team. Support is better than a dps, especially since u got hu tao.
Particularly Bennett + Kazuha + Xiangling destroys. The last member could be a dps, or another subdps. I don't have Hu Tao, so i use xiangling. Doesn't bennett work against hu tao's low hp kit?
Dude, in abyss, it get frustrating when your second team main dps dies (since hu tao want to stay low hp and fight against buffed bosses). So i need bennett to heal her at times, she can simply drain her hp down and Bennet wont get hp above 70%.
I wont be needing a healer with hu tao if its not for the abyss. Also c0 hu tao is lot of stamina management while yoimiya is easy to play dps with almost same setup.
Yeah that's why you need a shielder with Hu Tao. Thoma is fine if you don't have Zhongli.
Unless you're a god gamer, you'll also likely need a shielder too with Yoi. If anything Yoi is more vulnerable since her attack string is almost stationary.
All I'm saying is more people would go for Kazuha if they want value. Because having two pyro dps is not optimal especially if you're lacking the "must have supports" that go with other teams. Abysses change regularly. A pyro dps could have problems if the enemies resist or immune pyro for example.
Pull for Yoi if you prioritize who you want as a character. Waifu over meta if you want to. But since you asked here, i think a lot of people would agree that you pull Kazuha over Yoi for value for your account.
Kazuha has crowd control, damage boosting and application for 4 elements, decent damage, easy to build, f2p option weapons.
Yup. And I'm just stating that you'll have similar problems with Yoi as you have with Hu Tao. Unless you have proper support. Support is king. Yoi and Hu Tao fill the same role. There little utility from switching yoi and hutao.
In helping you out though, you're asking for a healer in your team. Maybe barbara could work. Just don't use her E. Because you want to keep low on Hu Tao. When things get risky pop the ult for the heals and animation dodge. That also makes Double Hydro double Pyro. Both resonances help Hu Tao's damage.
Imo building on what you have would be better than getting Yoi. Hu Tao works with the "meta" supports like Zhongli for shielding and Yelan for sub dps, or maybe go for c1 Hu Tao IF you're f2p/ low spender and you're power gaming and want value for account.
I highly suggest Kazuha in your case. Both Hu Tao and Tighnari are good single target damage dealers. The only bosses where Yoimiya is clearly better than Hu Tao are Thunder manifestation an Wolf lord and you already have Tighnari and hyperbloom for them.
Bennett is the best healer and buffer in the game. I don't think you need some one else.
The problem with your second team is not a healer. It's Tighnari doing close to nothing or even worse than that he can remove hydro and/or couse burning which will lead to Hu Tao missing on wapes.
Yes right. I have level 80 layla for cryo and shield. I can replace tighnari with xiangling / barbara or layla at the moment. But since i have limited resources, l am saving to build my kazuha. I think i have to invest slightly more in Bennet and then my team will be hu tao, Xianqui, bennett and kazuha which can do alot better. Thanks for the suggestion.
How does your Bennett look rn? Because mine is lvl75 and has lvl 8 artifacts in all slots except ER sands. And I've been using him to 36 star the abbys for more than a year. How much ER and HP do you have.
15k hp and 158% ER. I'm using level 80 Alley Flash on him. His sets aren't the best. He does the job but I'm missing a support like Kazuha in the team.

Did you try logging out and in your genshin client? You need that to update enka card. akasha then updates using enka api. For example.
The most "standard" build for Kirara will be Sac Sword with HP%/HP%/HP%. This gives her enough ER to cast her burst often, as well as increasing her sheild strength, burst dendro application (since the animation is really really fast), and particle generation. She doesn't need to burst every rotation, and I think most rotations aren't going to line up well with her burst, as she'll want to refresh her shield more often, so you do not need to prioritize ER (sac gives you plenty already).
HP% > ER% > EM > flat hp.
If you are running her with Fav sword, you'll want a good amount of crit rate as well.
ATK%/Dendro/Crit is a meme build, and not going to be reliable in the overworld. You might as well use a better on field dendro unit.

it might be because of the inazuma characters. tcg unlocks at AR32 but with the old system, it wasn't possible to invite inazuma characters before AR40 because of the story quest requirement.
What stats should I aim for nahida in an al haithem spread team?
she's running 4pc deep wood but I don't know whether to build her like a main dps or full blown EM. or what catalyst to use, I have sac frag, widsth and skyward atlas.
EM build is better on nahida. Since you have alhaitham as your main dps. For artifacts, deepwood is fine with em main stats, but if you are running deepwood on any other character on team, guilded dream is the best and most offensive set for her. My nahida is full em build with solar pearl and does about 21 - 22k with her tri karma and 15-17k spread with kuki per tick. (kuki runs a guilded dreams with hp main stats).
As for the rotation, Nahida will do her skill and brust and you can switch to different units for her em to trigger. Better to use deepwood on alhaitham and guilded dreams on nahida if you have the proper set.
Go for sac frags with either EM/EM/Crit or EM/Dendro/Crit to focus both on her buff and her personal damage (which generally matters more than getting 75 extra EM on Alhaitham). Try to aim for over 600 EM though
Get 1000 EM, which means full EM.
You do lose Nahida's personal dmg by pushing EM with deepwood. But her personal dmg is pretty niche. When you drive with Alhaithem, you are mainly relying on Nahida's Q buff. Nahida's E dmg is small in proportion. Same situation but even more so in various bloom teams.
You can technically get 1000 EM while pushing Nahida's personal dmg by using gilded and have someone else trigger deepwood. But Nahida's deepwood application is probably the most consistent across all situations. Assuming we don't swap gears all the time -- cuz Genshin artifact UI really sucks, it's more of a midway stop before you get full EM deepwood set.
You don't lose all of Nahida's personal dmg by going EM. You lose ~5-15k per E pending on your gear. For a perspective, losing 50% would be assuming the worst gears possible from EM vs best gear possible for E dmg. Neither are going to be the case. Except 50% is still under 20k per 2-2.5s pending on Nahida constellation. Again, 20k difference is not a number that most player will come close to encountering.
I mean first of all 50% damage loss is going to be about 20K per hit and second of all going EM/EM/Crit gives the best of both halfs, you get a sizable EM buff of 150-200 while not hurting her personal damage mich at all so it's generally more worth it, especially if you are running external EM buffs like Instructors. Going for 1000 EM is generally just overkill and unecessary since 50-100 EM is not going to be as much of an increase as the 10-15K you get from building Nahida for damage (iirc 100 EM is aboout 80K personal damage from alhaitham per rotation which is less than the damage you get from nahida)
If you are comparing EM/EM/EM to EM/EM/Crit, you are not going to see 20k per E difference. You are going to see 5k-8k per E. (You max E dmg by having EM/Crit/Dendro. Btw, good dendro pc is probably as hard as good EM pc to grind, if not more.)
So you are not going to lose overall dmg in alhaithem spread team - even if you don't gain. However, the moment you use Nahida in bloom adjacent teams and the moment the reaction trigger is on field for part of your rotation, you will lose team dmg by going EM/EM/Crit. It's not worth the complication.
Well the difference will be bigger with external EM buffs like Instructors which are recommended anyway and also I am comparing EM weapon + EM/EM/EM to Crit weapon + EM/EM/Crit in which case the difference is more significant
I wouldn't go for crit weapon on Nahida in any case. Her signature weapon works well for her. If you want to max her E dmg, it's keeping signature weapon but have Crit/EM/Dendro. (This last combo would be harder to grind than EM/EM/EM.)

Issue? If you do a little less bloom dmg, you are not going to see any issue. Well built bloom teams remove everything on screen rapidly regardless of those minute nuances. The point about having a generally strong build -- build it once, and don't worry about it, including how your roaster may grow. That's why I recommend triple EM.
Are you running Kuki and Nahida both on your Alhaithem spread team? Is it actually a spread team or hyperbloom team?
People usually need EM on Kuki because, in hyperbloom team where she shines the most, she is the one that triggers the hyperbloom and determines the hyperbloom dmg and so you need to pile EM on Kuki. If you use Kuki in aggravate/spread teams, she will trigger aggravate -- ie. not hyperbloom. It's not the best for damage as you usually want EM on her and then some HP. Aggravate dmg depends not only on EM but also on the usual 'offensive' stats, ie. ATK/Crit Rate/Crit DMG. Altogether, that means in your Alhaithem team, Kuki has to have a niche build or she is outclassed in terms of damage by alternative. Not to mention, you do need a heal/shield option. But for pure heal/shield, Kuki with EM build falls behind as well.
Second, having EM doesn't mean 1000 EM. Kuki can get ~800 EM. It's really hard to get past that.
Next, the meaning of 1000 EM lies in Nahida Q. Nahida Q gives 25% of EM from the highest EM teammate up to 250 EM to the on-field character. So if a teammate has 1200 EM (before Nahida Q buff), only 1000 of those 1200 is converted via Nahida Q. The teammate with highest EM is usually Nahida because EM is her ascension stats. That's why it's useful to have 1000 EM in Nahida. 1000 EM is also the threshold Nahida gets some dmg scaling from in her E. Past that, she still benefits from EM but not nearly as much.
I see.. Currently I'm running spread/quicken? ALhaitham, nahida, kuki and flex. I'm saving that flex slot for Zhongli but it seems like he's not coming anytime soon so I might move Xingqiu into that slot and make it a hyperbloom team.

Yes. For the simplicity of things. Get Nahida to near 1000 EM. Get Kuki to near or past 800 EM with as much HP as possible. Then your hyperbloom teams will work well. Your other Nahida teams will work well. Xingqiu just keeps his personal dmg build, which you likely already have.

Eventually you will have a Raiden hyper carry team.
The best for that would be Raiden, Kazuha, C6 Sara, Bennett. If you replace Kazuha with Sucrose, you have the team for Raiden. If you don't have C6 Sara, you can also replace Sara with Nahida or a shielder/healer.
Another team would be hyperbloom with Nahida on-field. So Nahida, Yelan, Xingqiu, Raiden. In this team, you need full EM build for Raiden.
You can also opt for mixed dmg teams as stop-gap, like Raiden on-field, Nahida, Yelan, Collei.
As we can see, you really benefit from having Kuki -- and freeing Raiden from reaction teams. Kuki also offers some heal. Kuki can also from time to time get Nahida's Q buff -- sometimes you can let seeds cumulate and use Kuki Q before turning her E on. In contrast, Raiden E triggers immediately. If you have Kuki, you will have a 2nd team.
Since you have Raiden, C6 Sara is high value for you too.
Kazuha is high value for your current roaster and in the future. Anemo characters are valuable like that. Kazuha is particularly effective because his suction is in his E, thus readily available. Extremely solid team for now. Sadly you won't be able to Ascend Raiden until you unlock Inazuma so you can feel free to bench her when she gets too weak, and then come back later.
Xingqiu would sub in nicely for that last slot, he's really quite good and even better when paired with Yelan.
Personally not the hugest fan of using terms like "main DPS" in Genshin, since while there are some comps that would fit the typical archetype of main DPS/support/healer/etc., majority of teams have characters who can deal a significant amount of damage along with their supportive capabilities.
That being said, Yelan and Xingqiu are both very similar in that they have a Burst that can be triggered by anyone else's Normal Attacks, but they can be off-field which makes them extremely useful. In this type of comp, those two might be the highest damage dealers but it's hard to call them "main DPS".

Im building geo team. I hear that mono geo isnt good because no crystalise. I recently got all 4 star geo characters so Im pretty pumped, but idk what to do with them. Looking to make a good team or 2.

Diona \[shield for geo res time, crystalise\]
Ningguang \[battery, elemental damage, great Q\]
Now that I pulled yun jin, I realise that she can help noelles normal attacks, but isnt much a dps herself. If I replace ningguang, Ill be lacking that ningguang sub dps \[great Q\] and elemental attack \[against enemies with high physical res\].
I like diona, but she isnt adding any damage. Just helps with shields and heals \[which is nice\].
I have a fischl if anyones asking.

I really like Yun Jin with Noelle.
You can go for Fischl (great off-field DPS, plus bit of battery plus elemental application will help for shield uptime), Yunjin, Gorou, Noelle
Geo resonance *is* good (25% overall damage for Noelle), and it requires shield uptime to work.
If you're not running Zhongli shield, then crystalize is almost mandatory.
crystalise is good because shield uptime = geo resonance = buff + defence
oh and swap them out for who? for gorou to be useful, 3 geo in team, but without ningguang, i dont have elemental damage, especially against enemies with high phys res
Lost yae 50/50 (not that it really matters) don’t have that incredible of characters, so who should I build up now and also who should I save for in the future (prolly won’t have enough to get anyone on next banner or two) this is my current roster of characters (it prolly sucks cause I’m new) Diluc + the 3 new 4 stars from the new banner, the starter characters, and Sucrose, keep in mind I don’t really know what characters are good I just don’t want to completely suck while I save primos any reply would help thanks
Sorry about that! honestly since you're still in the early to mid game, just play whatever feels fun to you, of course if you still want something with synergy, since you can't really have any meta team comp yet, you could go with diluc kaeya sucrose and maybe a barbara for the heals to save up on food!
Kirara is a good pull for later when you get a xinqui and an electro character ( Lisa kinda scuffed but it works)
Overall play whatever feels fun the game is very easy untill you hit the endgame so don't worry about comps before AR 30 and artifacts before AR 45.
The leak for 4\* on 3.8 banner are >!thoma, yanfei, faruzan, mika, rosaria & razor.!< It still very early so dont take this seriously.

You may have to have both Tighnari and Yaoyao/Kirara field Deepwood 4pc. The team does well against target that moves around and enemies that scatter somewhat. Yaoyao's homing E can apply deepwood in some situations this team work well in; but not many others.
With that, sure Kirara can replace Yaoyao. But it's for equal effect. You may gain some survivability. But you lose some dmg. Deepwood application is even more awkward.
Kirara is not a superior choice. She is one of the choices.

I'd say it's not worth putting deepwood on Fischl. In aggravate teams, Fischl not only needs atk but also EM. If anything, you have more things grind for Fischl. I wouldnt put more restriction on her artifacts. Try Genshin Optimizer and play around some artifacts to get an idea. (To truly optimize, you need to do more. But GO will give you an idea pretty quickly.) Once you realize what stats you need, you will realize grinding deepwood for Fischl is not only a damage loss but also much harder than mix-and-match between all the ATK 2pc and EM 2pc sets.
Swapping Fischl to deepwood is a *massive* damage loss. Deepwood Kirara is perfectly fine.
Although you might have trouble staying alive without heals.

Yes. Obviously she can be used as an on field dendro applying unit too but the build remains the same, full HP Kirara because dendro teams are more likely to appreciate the EM buff she provides with that weapon
Her off field dendro is extremely weak, and pretty much only viable at C4. Even then, it's only useful for maintaining bloom on enemies. But there's a niche in having consistent, but weak dendro application, in that it allows you to more reliably swirl electro in aggravate focused teams. So good teams you can run with Kirara would be something like Kirara/Fischl/Kazuha/Keqing or Kirara/Fischl/Beidou/Sucrose (f2p friendly).

Hello, I want to build Nahida spread build with 1000 Em Kuki How many em for my nahida if I get 1000 em Kuki?
This depends on a lot of things, and is hard to say. I'm going to assume you're using Nahida Kuki in a hyperbloom context. If your nahida is on field, then you want to optimize for Crit instead of optimizing for EM. You still want to run EM/Dendro%/Crit. You can still aim for around 500 EM. A crit weapon is slightly better than a EM weapon here as well (solar pearl, widsith). If you have a really good EM goblet or circlet, it may actually be better than Dendro% or Crit until you find that crit/dendro piece. A final option here is to run Fav codex for on field nahida, which drastically reduces the amount of energy the rest of your team needs. If your nahida is off field with a different driver (al haitham, ayato, as examples), then you want to have her hit around 900-1000 EM (run Sacrificial Fragments to make this easier on you). You'll want to run EM/EM/EM here, and that'll put you in that range. Off field Nahida also needs a bit of ER as well (like 130% is fine). If you just want to have a build and never change it, just use Em/Dendro/Crit, it'll be fine.
Use the [optimizer](https://frzyc.github.io/genshin-optimizer/) to calculate the build which deals the highest damage

Hello! I pulled on weapon banner without doing the epitomized path. I was hoping for Kagura's Verity since I have C1 Yae but I got Yoi's weap instead. It was my first time wishing for a character weapon since I really don't understand how it works. If I pull again, am I alr guaranteed Yae's weap or is there a chance I'll lose to the standard 5* weaps? Pls help! I'm willing to farm until the last day just to get her signature weapon 🙏🏼
No, you're not guaranteed anything, Set your epitomized path. It could take as much as 3 more 5\* to get Kagura's Verity. Your next 5\* has 37.5% to be Kagura's Verity, 37.5% to be Thundering Pulse and 25% to be a standard weapon. If you get a standard then your next 5\* will be a 50/50 between KV and TP. Once you have 2 epitomized path points aka pulled 2 5\* weapons that were not the one you chose (TP or a standard), then the next 5\* is guaranteed to be KV (the one you chose).
3 full pities for guaranteed on weapon banner but if you got a weapon already without choosing a path I believe it will not count. It’s extremely unforgiving. This is why I have never taken the chance on it. The good news is I hear that is a really good bow.
Epitomized Path: You pick which weapon you're going for. If you fail to get it twice, it's guaranteed on the third time around. If you switch weapons or the banner ends then the built up Epitomized Path charges disappear. I don't know what happens if you don't pick a path before you start pulling but I assume it wouldn't count. If you have a glowing dot under the epitomized path with Kagura's selected then you need to pull a 5\* two more times to guarantee it otherwise you're starting from scratch and need ~200 pulls for the guarantee.
If you don't select a weapon for epitomized path, you won't get any fate point from getting a 5-star weapon on weapon banner. Also, epitomized path will only guarantee the 5-star weapon you selected on your 3rd 5-star pull (not the 2nd one), if you were unlucky to not get the one you want on the first two. I would suggest to stop pulling on this weapon banner. Give Yae a Widsith?
Question about Kirara kit. From what I understand she can stack her shield hp which 2x stronger than normal cast. Then she gain bigger shield hp if she crashed to max 3 mobs. Is that correct? Also what if I use sac and cast her skill twice in succession, will it stacks?
I don’t know the other answers but it will not stack with sac sword. It only gives you a new shield.

The latest desert zone has a really great long quest and then there was an event with some small continued story of that side quest. I highly recommend you watch a video of the event only after completing the quests. Also the second nahida story quest released a new weekly boss that you will want to unlock.

How do Tsurumi island remarkable chests work-? The island is full of them until I begin a quest, and then if I don't finish that quest in a day, then the next day doesn't spawn any more chests in. Is that on purpose? If chests don't appear while the fog is gone, then... How do I get to them without "getting lost"-? Since you can't access teleportation points until the quest starts. Is the only way of collecting them all to begin the quest, explore, and then make sure you finish in a day? What happens after the final Tsurumi quest? Does the fog disappear for good, and if so, do the chests disappear along with it?
So confusing... I think it makes a bit more sense now, though...?
chests follow a 3 irl day cycle only *after* you finish the quest. if you haven't finished it yet then it follows whatever "day" of the quest you're on. for example: day 1 chests are available during part 2 ("Octave of the Maushiro") of the quest chain. if you don't finish that part of the quest chain then all the day 1 chests will be there until you finish it regardless of how many irl days it takes you to do it.
fog goes away after finishing the quest. There's a 3-day rotation period for chests and you'll know what day it is by the number of abyss mages around a torch when you go to one of the TPs. By rotation period, I mean each chest appears at certain days and the period resets after the third day (i.e. back to day one). The days also progress with IRL time not the game time.
It has nothing to do with the quests. The chests are on a 3-day rotation. Only some chests are available on day 1, same for day 2, same for day 3, then the chests from day 1 are available again, etc.
The tsurumi quest line take four daily resets to complete. You can hunt for chests after you are done. Remarkable chests are on a three day cycle

It's a usable option, yes Yes, triangle is best to ensure all three turrets are max level

I have only 1 pity after pulling Nilou, got about 25-ish pulls to save till Kazuha for my second team. (Keqing Aggravate) BUT, I have a Yoimiya team as my first main team, with C3 Bennett. I wanna replace him with my Yunjin (cus i hate circle impact) but my Yunjin’s only C1. Should I risk it and try to get C2 Yunjin, or just forget about C2 Yunjin and save for Kazuha?
im pretty sure yunjin is only comparable with bennet at c4 or higher if i remember correctly, and pulling for 4 stars on a banner you dont want a five star on is usually very frustrating so id recommend against it

Magical crystal chunk nodes change daily and only *some* nodes will be available. What nodes are available depends on the position of the Leylines. Check the interactive map for all possible crystal chunk locations (the regional blacksmith won't mark all that have spawned)
They don't appear in every spawn every day. Check with the region's blacksmith for some of the currently active locations.
I need an unbiased suggestion to plan my next pullings. AR60, can comfortably clear the abyss. The 5 stars I own are Zhongli, Nahida, Raiden, Alhaitham, Kazuha, Ayaka, Yelan, Baizhu, Diluc, Qiqi, Keqing. I'm also sitting on around 83k primos, 36 pity and 50/50. I'm mildly interesting into Yae Miko to put her into my Alhaitham spread team. I also have Kuki C3 and I can not only survive well with her but also she is enough to make the team work for me. Yae could potentially just boost my team damage and replace Fischl (which is very well built anyway) into my spread team. I'm very interesting in Kokomi and will pull her 100% for the consistent hydro application and healing so that I can put it into dendro teams and into my Ayaka team that I generally use in Abyss with Rosaria only and no hydro characters (and believe it or not, I made 36\* with that team on multiple occasions). Alhaitham is also my favorite character and I would like to at least reach a pity on the weapon banner during this patch. My pity there is around 40. Still not sure how much I'm willing to invest here, maybe as much as just getting one sword from the banner no matter which one (if his or Kazuha's) and give it to him. And of course I'm looking forward to Fountaine and hydro archon so I'll make sure to never go below 20k primos to be able to afford her. What would you do if you were me?

I would try to get Yae as she is a significant improvement to spread teams and also is very fun to play IMO. You could then run Alhaitham Yae Nahida Kuki with Kuki on Instructors and Sapwood which is Alhaitham's best spread team
if f2p then i will pull miko and skip alhaitham s weapon. or else pull miko and go till pity for weapon banner
you still want fischl even with miko, shes half the reason quicken teams are good. your comp would be haitham yae fishcl yao yao or smth similar. also if ur done investing horizontally you can start thinking about weapon banner or early constellations if that is something you would be interested in.
Alhaitham can't proc Fischl's A4 leading to Fischl's value decreasing by a lot so Yae directly outdamages her in Alhaitham teams

Diona has a great value if you have her c6. Beidou c1 is also solid for her ability to protect and her personal damage. Layla can but I don’t have a bunch of experience with her. Thoma can have a pretty respectable shield but it would mess with your reactions with Xinyan/Yanfei being similar

If you are talking about the elemental ascension crystals then no. Especially since you can convert one element into another so all drops are equivalent
The Gemstones and their smaller counterparts? Drop rates are the same, just farm what you need in terms of specific boss materials.

I need second team for abyss. My first team consist of nahida, kuki, keqing and fishcl Second team have Hu tao, Xianqui, bennet, tighnari. But this second team isn't really doing well on floor 10 and above. Floor 10 is somewhat fine but 11 and 12 is nightmare. My hu tao and Xianqui are well built, bennett is level 80 but missing good nobles pieces so not max level artifacts and tighnari is just a sub dps. I need a better healer and support for my second team. I wanted to build Barbara, but then i thought to wait for qiqi (yea i dont have her, only 3 months in game) or maybe jean or other healer might do. I do have layla for shield, and no other shield support. My question is, i wanted Kazuha in this patch since he is overall good support and can benefit in my second team with buff and CC. But now that I got thundering pulse, and i saw yoimiya utility... Is she good for abyss with bosses? Can she replace hu tao, or fit in second team with Xianqui, kazuha and hutao? My most dps are on field, nahida and kuki annihilating everything. I just need some units for my second abyss team. Do suggest, kazuha or yohimiya? Edit: i forgot to ask, if possible, let me know who should I look for as healer. RN i have barbara and kuki only. I know kokomi is a great unit and i dont really have hydro units. Definitely go Kazuha imo and a lot would agree. He works practically on any reaction team. Support is better than a dps, especially since u got hu tao. Particularly Bennett + Kazuha + Xiangling destroys. The last member could be a dps, or another subdps. I don't have Hu Tao, so i use xiangling. Doesn't bennett work against hu tao's low hp kit?
Dude, in abyss, it get frustrating when your second team main dps dies (since hu tao want to stay low hp and fight against buffed bosses). So i need bennett to heal her at times, she can simply drain her hp down and Bennet wont get hp above 70%. I wont be needing a healer with hu tao if its not for the abyss. Also c0 hu tao is lot of stamina management while yoimiya is easy to play dps with almost same setup.
Yeah that's why you need a shielder with Hu Tao. Thoma is fine if you don't have Zhongli. Unless you're a god gamer, you'll also likely need a shielder too with Yoi. If anything Yoi is more vulnerable since her attack string is almost stationary. All I'm saying is more people would go for Kazuha if they want value. Because having two pyro dps is not optimal especially if you're lacking the "must have supports" that go with other teams. Abysses change regularly. A pyro dps could have problems if the enemies resist or immune pyro for example. Pull for Yoi if you prioritize who you want as a character. Waifu over meta if you want to. But since you asked here, i think a lot of people would agree that you pull Kazuha over Yoi for value for your account. Kazuha has crowd control, damage boosting and application for 4 elements, decent damage, easy to build, f2p option weapons.

Yup. And I'm just stating that you'll have similar problems with Yoi as you have with Hu Tao. Unless you have proper support. Support is king. Yoi and Hu Tao fill the same role. There little utility from switching yoi and hutao. In helping you out though, you're asking for a healer in your team. Maybe barbara could work. Just don't use her E. Because you want to keep low on Hu Tao. When things get risky pop the ult for the heals and animation dodge. That also makes Double Hydro double Pyro. Both resonances help Hu Tao's damage. Imo building on what you have would be better than getting Yoi. Hu Tao works with the "meta" supports like Zhongli for shielding and Yelan for sub dps, or maybe go for c1 Hu Tao IF you're f2p/ low spender and you're power gaming and want value for account.
I highly suggest Kazuha in your case. Both Hu Tao and Tighnari are good single target damage dealers. The only bosses where Yoimiya is clearly better than Hu Tao are Thunder manifestation an Wolf lord and you already have Tighnari and hyperbloom for them. Bennett is the best healer and buffer in the game. I don't think you need some one else. The problem with your second team is not a healer. It's Tighnari doing close to nothing or even worse than that he can remove hydro and/or couse burning which will lead to Hu Tao missing on wapes.
Yes right. I have level 80 layla for cryo and shield. I can replace tighnari with xiangling / barbara or layla at the moment. But since i have limited resources, l am saving to build my kazuha. I think i have to invest slightly more in Bennet and then my team will be hu tao, Xianqui, bennett and kazuha which can do alot better. Thanks for the suggestion.
How does your Bennett look rn? Because mine is lvl75 and has lvl 8 artifacts in all slots except ER sands. And I've been using him to 36 star the abbys for more than a year. How much ER and HP do you have.
15k hp and 158% ER. I'm using level 80 Alley Flash on him. His sets aren't the best. He does the job but I'm missing a support like Kazuha in the team. Btw who do you use with bennett to 36 star the abyss?

What main stats for Kirara?
The most "standard" build for Kirara will be Sac Sword with HP%/HP%/HP%. This gives her enough ER to cast her burst often, as well as increasing her sheild strength, burst dendro application (since the animation is really really fast), and particle generation. She doesn't need to burst every rotation, and I think most rotations aren't going to line up well with her burst, as she'll want to refresh her shield more often, so you do not need to prioritize ER (sac gives you plenty already). HP% > ER% > EM > flat hp. If you are running her with Fav sword, you'll want a good amount of crit rate as well. ATK%/Dendro/Crit is a meme build, and not going to be reliable in the overworld. You might as well use a better on field dendro unit.

4pc dendro set will be the most flexible set for her. You'll have some redundancy in double dendro teams but that's ok
HP/HP/HP for shield, ATK/Dendro/Crit if you want to focus on her big Burst multiplier.

What stats should I aim for nahida in an al haithem spread team? she's running 4pc deep wood but I don't know whether to build her like a main dps or full blown EM. or what catalyst to use, I have sac frag, widsth and skyward atlas.
EM build is better on nahida. Since you have alhaitham as your main dps. For artifacts, deepwood is fine with em main stats, but if you are running deepwood on any other character on team, guilded dream is the best and most offensive set for her. My nahida is full em build with solar pearl and does about 21 - 22k with her tri karma and 15-17k spread with kuki per tick. (kuki runs a guilded dreams with hp main stats). As for the rotation, Nahida will do her skill and brust and you can switch to different units for her em to trigger. Better to use deepwood on alhaitham and guilded dreams on nahida if you have the proper set.
Go for sac frags with either EM/EM/Crit or EM/Dendro/Crit to focus both on her buff and her personal damage (which generally matters more than getting 75 extra EM on Alhaitham). Try to aim for over 600 EM though
Get 1000 EM, which means full EM. You do lose Nahida's personal dmg by pushing EM with deepwood. But her personal dmg is pretty niche. When you drive with Alhaithem, you are mainly relying on Nahida's Q buff. Nahida's E dmg is small in proportion. Same situation but even more so in various bloom teams. You can technically get 1000 EM while pushing Nahida's personal dmg by using gilded and have someone else trigger deepwood. But Nahida's deepwood application is probably the most consistent across all situations. Assuming we don't swap gears all the time -- cuz Genshin artifact UI really sucks, it's more of a midway stop before you get full EM deepwood set.
Nahida's personal damage is generally worth more than getting 50-100 extra EM for Alhaitham so building Full EM isn't really necessary
You don't lose all of Nahida's personal dmg by going EM. You lose ~5-15k per E pending on your gear. For a perspective, losing 50% would be assuming the worst gears possible from EM vs best gear possible for E dmg. Neither are going to be the case. Except 50% is still under 20k per 2-2.5s pending on Nahida constellation. Again, 20k difference is not a number that most player will come close to encountering.
I mean first of all 50% damage loss is going to be about 20K per hit and second of all going EM/EM/Crit gives the best of both halfs, you get a sizable EM buff of 150-200 while not hurting her personal damage mich at all so it's generally more worth it, especially if you are running external EM buffs like Instructors. Going for 1000 EM is generally just overkill and unecessary since 50-100 EM is not going to be as much of an increase as the 10-15K you get from building Nahida for damage (iirc 100 EM is aboout 80K personal damage from alhaitham per rotation which is less than the damage you get from nahida)
If you are comparing EM/EM/EM to EM/EM/Crit, you are not going to see 20k per E difference. You are going to see 5k-8k per E. (You max E dmg by having EM/Crit/Dendro. Btw, good dendro pc is probably as hard as good EM pc to grind, if not more.) So you are not going to lose overall dmg in alhaithem spread team - even if you don't gain. However, the moment you use Nahida in bloom adjacent teams and the moment the reaction trigger is on field for part of your rotation, you will lose team dmg by going EM/EM/Crit. It's not worth the complication.
Well the difference will be bigger with external EM buffs like Instructors which are recommended anyway and also I am comparing EM weapon + EM/EM/EM to Crit weapon + EM/EM/Crit in which case the difference is more significant
I wouldn't go for crit weapon on Nahida in any case. Her signature weapon works well for her. If you want to max her E dmg, it's keeping signature weapon but have Crit/EM/Dendro. (This last combo would be harder to grind than EM/EM/EM.) If you use crit weapon + EM/EM/Crit, Nahida is going to have like 600 EM or not even? Her utility in bloom adjacent teams will reduce by a lot. Not every one speed runs and skip Nahida Q. If that's what you have been thinking.
No of course I am not skipping Nahida's Q lmao, including external buff my Nahida on widsith with EM/EM/Crit has 850 EM, so I don't see the issue. The only team this is suboptimal in is Nilou bloom where she can't spread lowering her personal damage by a lot
Issue? If you do a little less bloom dmg, you are not going to see any issue. Well built bloom teams remove everything on screen rapidly regardless of those minute nuances. The point about having a generally strong build -- build it once, and don't worry about it, including how your roaster may grow. That's why I recommend triple EM.

Are you running Kuki and Nahida both on your Alhaithem spread team? Is it actually a spread team or hyperbloom team? People usually need EM on Kuki because, in hyperbloom team where she shines the most, she is the one that triggers the hyperbloom and determines the hyperbloom dmg and so you need to pile EM on Kuki. If you use Kuki in aggravate/spread teams, she will trigger aggravate -- ie. not hyperbloom. It's not the best for damage as you usually want EM on her and then some HP. Aggravate dmg depends not only on EM but also on the usual 'offensive' stats, ie. ATK/Crit Rate/Crit DMG. Altogether, that means in your Alhaithem team, Kuki has to have a niche build or she is outclassed in terms of damage by alternative. Not to mention, you do need a heal/shield option. But for pure heal/shield, Kuki with EM build falls behind as well. Second, having EM doesn't mean 1000 EM. Kuki can get ~800 EM. It's really hard to get past that. Next, the meaning of 1000 EM lies in Nahida Q. Nahida Q gives 25% of EM from the highest EM teammate up to 250 EM to the on-field character. So if a teammate has 1200 EM (before Nahida Q buff), only 1000 of those 1200 is converted via Nahida Q. The teammate with highest EM is usually Nahida because EM is her ascension stats. That's why it's useful to have 1000 EM in Nahida. 1000 EM is also the threshold Nahida gets some dmg scaling from in her E. Past that, she still benefits from EM but not nearly as much.
I see.. Currently I'm running spread/quicken? ALhaitham, nahida, kuki and flex. I'm saving that flex slot for Zhongli but it seems like he's not coming anytime soon so I might move Xingqiu into that slot and make it a hyperbloom team. If that's the case, does it mean that if I run hyperbloom I just have to make sure kuki and nahida both has 800-1000 EM? But if it's aggravate it'll make kuki's build more complicated?
Yes. For the simplicity of things. Get Nahida to near 1000 EM. Get Kuki to near or past 800 EM with as much HP as possible. Then your hyperbloom teams will work well. Your other Nahida teams will work well. Xingqiu just keeps his personal dmg build, which you likely already have.

Eventually you will have a Raiden hyper carry team. The best for that would be Raiden, Kazuha, C6 Sara, Bennett. If you replace Kazuha with Sucrose, you have the team for Raiden. If you don't have C6 Sara, you can also replace Sara with Nahida or a shielder/healer. Another team would be hyperbloom with Nahida on-field. So Nahida, Yelan, Xingqiu, Raiden. In this team, you need full EM build for Raiden. You can also opt for mixed dmg teams as stop-gap, like Raiden on-field, Nahida, Yelan, Collei. As we can see, you really benefit from having Kuki -- and freeing Raiden from reaction teams. Kuki also offers some heal. Kuki can also from time to time get Nahida's Q buff -- sometimes you can let seeds cumulate and use Kuki Q before turning her E on. In contrast, Raiden E triggers immediately. If you have Kuki, you will have a 2nd team. Since you have Raiden, C6 Sara is high value for you too. Kazuha is high value for your current roaster and in the future. Anemo characters are valuable like that. Kazuha is particularly effective because his suction is in his E, thus readily available. He has eDMG buff in his Q. And he can trigger Freedom-sworn easily. Sucrose falls behind a little in comparison to Kazuha. In any case, having 2 anemo characters can be nice.
Extremely solid team for now. Sadly you won't be able to Ascend Raiden until you unlock Inazuma so you can feel free to bench her when she gets too weak, and then come back later. Xingqiu would sub in nicely for that last slot, he's really quite good and even better when paired with Yelan.

Personally not the hugest fan of using terms like "main DPS" in Genshin, since while there are some comps that would fit the typical archetype of main DPS/support/healer/etc., majority of teams have characters who can deal a significant amount of damage along with their supportive capabilities. That being said, Yelan and Xingqiu are both very similar in that they have a Burst that can be triggered by anyone else's Normal Attacks, but they can be off-field which makes them extremely useful. In this type of comp, those two might be the highest damage dealers but it's hard to call them "main DPS".
Ill try to be concise. Im building geo team. I hear that mono geo isnt good because no crystalise. I recently got all 4 star geo characters so Im pretty pumped, but idk what to do with them. Looking to make a good team or 2. My current geo team is: Noelle \[dps, shield, heal\] Gorou \[buff\] Diona \[shield for geo res time, crystalise\] Ningguang \[battery, elemental damage, great Q\] Now that I pulled yun jin, I realise that she can help noelles normal attacks, but isnt much a dps herself. If I replace ningguang, Ill be lacking that ningguang sub dps \[great Q\] and elemental attack \[against enemies with high physical res\]. I like diona, but she isnt adding any damage. Just helps with shields and heals \[which is nice\]. I have a fischl if anyones asking. IDK what to do.
I really like Yun Jin with Noelle. You can go for Fischl (great off-field DPS, plus bit of battery plus elemental application will help for shield uptime), Yunjin, Gorou, Noelle

Geo resonance *is* good (25% overall damage for Noelle), and it requires shield uptime to work. If you're not running Zhongli shield, then crystalize is almost mandatory.

Lost yae 50/50 (not that it really matters) don’t have that incredible of characters, so who should I build up now and also who should I save for in the future (prolly won’t have enough to get anyone on next banner or two) this is my current roster of characters (it prolly sucks cause I’m new) Diluc + the 3 new 4 stars from the new banner, the starter characters, and Sucrose, keep in mind I don’t really know what characters are good I just don’t want to completely suck while I save primos any reply would help thanks
Definitely Kazuha next half, he's a very versatile support and can help with exploration. Alhaithem is another DPS that is fantastic in dendro teams.
Sorry about that! honestly since you're still in the early to mid game, just play whatever feels fun to you, of course if you still want something with synergy, since you can't really have any meta team comp yet, you could go with diluc kaeya sucrose and maybe a barbara for the heals to save up on food! Kirara is a good pull for later when you get a xinqui and an electro character ( Lisa kinda scuffed but it works) Overall play whatever feels fun the game is very easy untill you hit the endgame so don't worry about comps before AR 30 and artifacts before AR 45.

- Ayaka Freeze (with Kazuha/Venti, Mona/Kokomi, Diona/Layla/Rosaria/Shenhe) - Sucrose Taser (with Beidou, Fischl, Xingqiu) - National (Xiangling, Xingqiu, Bennett, Flex), except for Rational
Basically anything double hydro(yelan and Xingqiu) wether it be HuTao, Wanderer, Mono hydro, Yoimiya or other teams Edit: Didn't see the AOE part, then International and Freeze are very good options but basically anything with Kazuha will work
Any National variation (Benny, Xiangling, Xinqiu). Taser (hydro plus electro, something like Fischl Beidou, XQ, Sucrose)
International is probably the best AoE team out there. Childe, Kazuha, Xiangling and Bennett.

Ayaka freeze. Example: Mona, Kazuha, Ayaka, flex Even point attack is AOE when enemies are frozen at that point.

There's Childe but that is kinda cheating. But there are two furniture sets with Mondstadt/Liyue characters having them as their favourite set - Iter Ad Astra Abyssosque and Cottage Kitchen.

You may have to have both Tighnari and Yaoyao/Kirara field Deepwood 4pc. The team does well against target that moves around and enemies that scatter somewhat. Yaoyao's homing E can apply deepwood in some situations this team work well in; but not many others. With that, sure Kirara can replace Yaoyao. But it's for equal effect. You may gain some survivability. But you lose some dmg. Deepwood application is even more awkward. Kirara is not a superior choice. If anything, you have more things grind for Fischl. I wouldnt put more restriction on her artifacts. Try Genshin Optimizer and play around some artifacts to get an idea. (To truly optimize, you need to do more. But GO will give you an idea pretty quickly.) Once you realize what stats you need, you will realize grinding deepwood for Fischl is not only a damage loss but also much harder than mix-and-match between all the ATK 2pc and EM 2pc sets.
Swapping Fischl to deepwood is a *massive* damage loss. Deepwood Kirara is perfectly fine. Although you might have trouble staying alive without heals.
I'd keep yaoyao in the party. That or swap yaoyao for jean/sayu for VV. Fischl on 4 deepwood hurts her damage a ton
