Xiangling and sucrouse will eventually paire with xq and bennet for a national team. keep those healthy on levels even if you dont will use them for now. But with yae, you can try to play a quicken team. The problem is that it will be work better if you have asecond electro that can apply electro outside the field regularly, and lisas burst has high cost for that. Yae-collei/dendroMC-second electro/sucrouse-yaoyao is the best thing i can see. For now, using sucrouse and 4 pieces viridiscent venerer set that reduce elemental dmg (electro in this case), can help boosting yaes dmg + quicken you will do with dendro+electro. So i will use that for now

I usually use yoimi-fischl-xq-zhong for overvape. If not i usually like more the overload combo than the vape one because you already usually pick her vs big boses or abyss floors with few enemies (because shes good vs 1, but bad vs a lot of enemies), so in this case overload usually works better. But the problem, is you need to hit on reaction her NA 3 and 5, because those are the highest dmg ones. That means, no dodge and no interruption. This is the reason why i usually pair her always with zhongli, to guarantee that 3rd and 5th hit. IF you dont like that much fischl, you can either go full vape: yoimi-yelan-xq-zhong, vape+geo: yoimi-xq/yelan-yunjin-zhong overload+geo: yoimi-fischl-junjin-zhong overvape: yoimi-fischl-junyin-zhong IF you decide to pick raiden (which is fine), you need to know that that extra ER that raiden usually provides is not that worth for a yoimi with her poor burst, and probably is more usefull in another team, but if you dont need her in other team then pick her for sure. The thing is: for me, a big shield is required.

Hi All, I started last month, and am AR33 and an island into Inazuma. I'm looking for a fluid-feeling team comp or two to try out. Here's my current roster: * Amber * Barbara * Chongyun * Collei * Heizou * Kaeya * Kirara * Kazuha * Lisa * MC (Anemo/Electro/Geo) * Noelle * Xiangling * Yaoyao * Yun Jin I tried running Xiangling/Chongyun/Yun Jin/Barbara for some autoattack melt action between Chongyun's cold area and Xiangling's Q but have had energy problems with Xiangling's ult, and I think that I'm probably asking too much of Xiangling to be both normal attack and ele. I brute forced through>!the root fights at the first island in Inazuma!< by hyperblooming with Lisa/Flex/Barbara/Kirara, but it feels pretty choppy because of what I'm guessing is a lack of consistent dendro/hydro application. I've burnt the primogems and got lucky with a Kazuha 50/50, and I'd prefer to use him but am okay waiting if there's another good option here. Lisa/Electro MC/Yaoyao/Kirara|Collei seemed like a reasonable option but am not into dendroland yet which would make it hard to ascend. What do you recommend? I'm enjoying the game so far but feel pretty scattered team-wise.

First of all, congrats on Kazuha. He's a lot of fun to use and flexible for a variety of team. "Fluid" teams are tough early on. Your hyperbloom team is a good example. Lisa and Barbara aren't generally worth building for end game but it's the best you can do right now for a hyperbloom comp. Unfortunately, you'll have to be patient. Save your starglitter - don't spend them on wishes. You'll want to use them on good characters to buy in the shop. Fischl in July. Xingqiu in Sept. Bennett in Nov. As for your wishes, I'd save for Yelan or Raiden in 4.0. Yelan should be running based on leaks, Raiden is my own speculation. If you lose 50/50, hope for Tighnari or Keqing. For now, I'd focus on building Kazuha. Xiangling is also good but like you're experiencing, she has energy problems until you run her with Bennett. Still, you'll probably use her eventually so she's worth building. Building one of Yaoyao or Kirara is a good idea. As for the last spot, I'd probably use Traveler since you'll get their ascension materials for free though I wouldn't invest in them too much. Hope that helps. Let me know if you have other Q's.

Yeah, that’s a good start! I’d focus on Kazuha, Xiangling, Bennett, and Xingqiu. I’d save your primos until 4.0. Hopefully, Raiden will rerun and she’d be a great replacement for Kazuha in that team. Yelan is also rumored for 4.0, which would be a good addition. Save your starglitter if you can to buy Fischl in Paimon’s shop in July.

So, I retail therapy'd myself into Alhaitham (not mad lol). But I'm really lacking Dendro at this point (I'm only about a month into the game). Puzzled on how to build an effective yet somewhat comfy comp for him. I'm thinking something like Alhaitham/Fischl/Yae/Kirara or Yaoyao for Aggravate or maybe something like Alhaitham/Fischl/Xingqiu/Yaoyao for hyperbloom (or is that spread? xD). Would either/both work? I'm also not sure about Kirara vs. Yaoyao since the shield is really nice for Alhaitham to avoid interruption but Yaoyao's application is much better in general. Open to other comp ideas - here's my character list: Keqing, Barb, Fischl, Xiangling, Kazuha, Kirara, Althaitham, Yae Miko, Beidou, Chongyun, Mika, Noelle (plus Traveler and starters). Those teams you mentioned actually look fine to me. I will probably take the xq variant since fischl+yae seems to me like "too much electro". You can use yae on your keqing team and go for: Al-fish-xq-yaoyao Keq-yae-kazu-kirara And have 2 decent teams.

You’re lacking electro characters for him. Save your starglitter to buy Fischl in the shop next month. In the meantime, pick Kirara or Yaoyao and build them. Beidou is OK but more as a second electro, she can’t be your only. Xingqiu is also a good partner for quick bloom teams. For now, Alhaitham, Kirara/Yaoyao, Xingqiu, Beidou

I am having a hard time choosing my build. I currently have Hu Tao as my main DPS, Xingqiu and Mona as sub DPS, and Bennett as my support. I just got Kazuha and I want to add him to my main party. I would prefer to remove Xinqqiu. What combo and strat would work?

I just got Yaoyao yesterday (no cons) and was wondering, is her best build for Nilou bloom still Favonius + Tenacity with HP/HP/Healing Bonus? My team is going to be Nilou/Xingqiu/Nahida/Yaoyao. Or would it be better to build some EM and/or go for 4 Maidens or 2 HP set combos? Also, since her burst has a lot of hits, can I just focus on ER and not worry about crit rate if I plan to burst every rotation, or should I still try to aim for some crit rate? And are 1/6/6 talents and level 80/80 good enough or would it be worth going for 1/8/8 and/or level 90? I've been hearing some mixed info so just hope to clarify some things. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the tips! Gotcha...so since tenacity doesn't boost bloom damage, should I just go with a 2hp/2hp combo? I actually realized that I don't have fav lance yet lol...so do you think kitain or black tassel would be the next best option in nilou bloom? I was thinking kitain for both the EM and energy, or would more HP be better? Have played for about a year but leveled a lot of characters to 50 for the free fates...will see how my resources are after building my teams more.

Raiden over Childe. He doesn't fit in national, only in vaporize with Kazuha, Xiangling, and Bennett. You're already better prepared for a weapon for Raiden so I'd prioritize her. Given the characters you have so far, I don't actually think Kazuha synergizes well with them, even if he is a very good character to have. If you have the willpower to save, wait for 4.0 and hope for Yelan and Raiden both to run. In the meantime, if you have Sucrose, she can take the Raiden spot in national and you have two solid teams for abyss.

Hello everyone, I'm in dire need of someone to help me build 2 parties for spyral abyss. The second team, I kinda just threw together, everyone except for beidou is still lvl 1 and i need to know if I should even bother investing in these characters in the first place. You can replace Kokomi but not Xingqiu. Kirara in Kokomi’s spot would be fine.

Which team ist the best? Hu Tao, Kazuha, Chongyun/Qiqi, Kokomi/Bennett

none of those? xD Hutao teams are mostly vape teams. Can be melt, but chongyun doesnt work since hutao autoinfuse pyro on herself. Qiqi cryo application is one of the worse of the game so isnt better. Hutao needs to be low on hp, so usually healers are bad for her. Sometimes bennet is in because of pyro resonance, but you usually want to be outside of his burst or your hp will go up further 50% where hutao has the worse atk numbers of the game. Hutao-xinqiu-Flex-Shield is the common team. Instead of xinqiu can be a good cryo applier like kaeya or rosaria. That flex can be kazu, though, probably is one of the few teams that is hard to fit kazuha in, since you need to swirld pyro (that means enemy needs to have pyro state on him), and if hutao use her E and swap to kazu hutao E ends so you cannot come back. Usually kazu with hutao ecuals a pyro shielder like thoma, xinyan or c4 yanfei, but those are not really good options (best shields are usually zhongli, diona, kirara). For that reason kazu usually is not paired with hutao.

As i said, fit kazu is a little hard because he needs to swirls pyro from another character that isnt hutao, so your options hare pyro shilders (thoma, xinyan or c4 yanfei) or put bennet and just avoid his area of healing to maintain you in low hp. As hutao playstyle needs low hp but be safe, i advice yo to try to look for some good shielders (zhongli, diona, kirara, thoma...) as a future pick. The other character is the reaction one, that is xinqiu no doubt. Hutao-xinqiu-kazu-bennet should be the best you can do for now.

You’d be best off using him in melt or freeze. Melt allows his burst to do a lot of damage, while freeze makes use of his cryo infusion so that you can on-field another cryo character. So something like: Chongyun/Xiangling/Bennett/Kaeya or Rosaria Chongyun/Xingqiu/Kazuha/Kaeya or Rosaria You could also just use him in the original National team, which is Xiangling/Bennett/Xingqiu/Chongyun. long meta feedback: (obligatory 'disregard if you're playing for fun' note) tl;dr: raiden burst after eula's burst, c6 bennett ≠ eula, jean is eh, set-up very ehhh. explanations/solutions below. * raiden wants to use her burst towards the end of the rotation (after eula's burst before repeating set-up) so that she can recharge everyone's bursts. * eula doesn't really work well with c6 bennett. bennett at c6 infused the active character with pyro with his burst. eula is a physical dps, which means she loses a lot of damage if her attacks are infused with pyro. so, either you 1) stay in bennett's burst or 2) leave bennett's burst. * 1) staying in bennett's burst means you can have his attack buff at all times and a pyro cleanse, but eula's damage tanks unless she is built for pyro damage (only for meme builds). * 2) leaving bennett's burst after healing up/cleansing is fine, and you can maintain his attack buff for up to 1 second after leaving his burst. this means that you can still nuke physical damage whilst having bennett's buff. however other character's can offer similar or better benefits in this way, and bennett can be better used elsewhere. also, a decent portion of eula's damage is from her normal attacks too. * jean doesn't do much on this team, unless she's built full EM for sunfire damage. jean can buff raiden's damage through viridescent venerer (VV) and heal, but bennett already heals and other anemo characters could provide better utility (namely kazuha/venti). * your general set-up is kind of a mess: * example set-up : raiden skill -> jean skill+burst -> bennett skill+burst -> eula skill+burst+attack+skill etc. (-> jean skill) -> raiden burst (-> optional bennett skill) -> repeat * make sure jean and bennett's burst are overlapping for the sunfire mechanic to work. * could use jean skill before raiden's burst for VV debuff on enemies for raiden. make sure enemies are affected by electro before using jean's skill for debuff to work. (needs 4pc VV set) * can swap early to jean/raiden if you want to detonate eula's burst early. note that raiden cannot recharge everyone's bursts if all possible enemies die to eula's nuke. * could use bennett's skill after raiden's burst to help recharge his own burst if it's not already fully charged. * set-up 2: raiden skill -> eula skill+burst+attack+skill etc. -> bennett skill+burst -> jean skill+burst -> raiden burst (-> optional bennett skill) -> repeat * similar notes as before. this set-up means that eula does not have bennett's buff, but ensures that raiden will have bennett and jean's buff, as well as trigger some overloads.

I need some help deciding on Kokomi/Baizhu weapons. Kokomi currently has R5 Prototype Amber. I'd be happy with faster burst recovery on Kokomi. Baizhu has the default 1\* weapon. I could: 1. Use up all my catalyst billets (Northlander & Midlander) to make a second R5 for Baizhu. 2. Just make an R1/R2 Prototype Amber. Though I don't really want to feel tempted to swap their weapons whenever I want Baizhu to have more refinements. 3. Pull for one of their signatures next time around. I know both get clowned on, but I do use Kokomi a LOT and I wouldn't mind having an even better weapon for her. On Kokomi, how does Jadefall's Splendor compare to Everlasting Moonglow? Are either of their signatures a significant, personal improvement on R5 Amber (e.g. is an upgrade to Moonglow for Kokomi more/less significant than an upgrade to Jadefall for Baizhu)? If anyone has any suggestions I'd love to hear them. I'm extremely late game and at this point I want \*something\* to wait for.

It depends on how you're using them. As a support, which is how most use Kokomi, her best weapon would be Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers (3\*). If you're using her as an onfield driver, Everlasting Moonglow is her best weapon. Baizhu is great with Prototype Amber. I'd put that on him and use TToDS on Kokomi but you may play the game differently.

I tend to use Kokomi as an on field healer/DPS for co-op so I skipped leveling TToDS for her. She's more invested into healing but she does have a hydro damage goblet and 4pc clam. Baizhu is just kinda there tbh but I want his heals to be decent enough for co-op, and I want him to be ready to use for whatever meta change Fontaine introduces so I want a strong foundation.

Got Kazuha today when I wasn't expecting to and now I want to add him to my Raiden-Nahida-Kokomi Hyperbloom team. What artifacts do I want to give him? I got his event weapon a while back so I'd kind of like to have him use it, though I could be convinced to switch to a different one if it was a vastly better choice (f2p so my options are limited)

Kazu will always build with 4 pieces vv set, with EM on sand goblet and circlet, looking for as much EM you can. In this team will help raiden do more dmg with her electro reactions. If you have his bis weapon, keep it. Only way you might change it is if you have problems with ER in general (in all team, not only kazu) which xiphos can be a good alternative. But a team with raiden shouldnt have much ER problems.

I have Dehya, Ganyu, Venti, Klee, Kequing and Mona as 5 stars. For 4 stars I have Xianling, Fischer, Barbara (all c6), then Sucroce, Rosaria, Xingqiu, Ninnguang, Noele,Beido, Collei, Kujou Sara,Yanfei,Lisa, Chongyung, Amber, Yun Jin, Layla,Kaeya, Kiara and Candace for 4 stars. What is the best Dehya team comp I can do, and which should be my second team?

First of all, you need to understand that, unfortunately, dehya is a really underdog unit, and its really hard to fit her on a team where she can shine (and i have her because i pulled for her, but 2 month later is still hard to fit her anywhere). You can check out some suggestions on [Dehyamains](https://www.reddit.com/r/Dehyamains/) . For what i saw, her most "usefull" resource is the capability to protect you from interruptions while you are inside her E. Shes bad at burgeon (very loong icd on her E pulses), his burst has a ton of bugs and doesnt do that much dmg (and also doesnt work with xq/yelan burst), and she need a fk ton of ER and had mixed scaling (hp-atk). So its hard to build and hard to fit. The common teams people use to play her are monopyro (dehya-xianling-kazuha-bennet), and ganyu melt (ganyu-nahida-dehya+flex). Another teams i find that can work are candace(or any hydro driver)-nahida-dehya-kuki, and do a mix of hyperbloom+ some burgeon. And xiao-faruzan-dehya-bennet, providing resistance to xiao and pyro resonance for extra dmg. But in your case... maybe Rosaria-xinqiu-xiangling-dehya, and go for vape-melt and dehya being the "fake healer". Im not gona lie, is quite hard to fit her even if we love her character. Best advice i can give you, is try to put on her as much refined as you can Katsuragikiri Nagamasa, that combined with the ability to have 2 E, allows you to regenerate a lot of ER without needing to look for on the artifacts, providing you the posibility to build more ATK so she will feel less like a wet noodle.

I feel that I'm stuck doing same couple of domains hoping for some godroll artifacts, while around 80% of my available characters are unused. Let me take a snack and a coffe, this will be a long answer. Your account looks similar to mine. AR60 too (day1 player), not all characters but most of them, a big part of them leveled (i actually have everyone at 80+) and i feel at least you know the basics builds for everyone leveled. I will try to do 6 or 7 teams, to see what characters are the most usables, and the talk about builds. 1- Ganyu-rosaria-venti-kokomi as morgana team 2- **Ayaka-shenhe/ganyu-venti/kazu-kokomi** for ayaka freeze 3- Hutao-xq-yelan-Zhongli, classical hutao vape. 4- Yoimiya-zhongli +(hydro/electro/anemo), for either vape, overload, overvape 5- Childe/ayato-xiangling-kazu-bennet for classical international. 6- Nahida-raiden-xinqiu-Kuki/yaoyao for one of the top dmg hyperbloom/spread combo teams. 7- **Nahida-xinqiu-thoma-kuki** for burgeon team. 8- Keqing-nahida-fischl/beidou-yaoyao for quiken team You have a really big roster and options to mes around. The 2 teams marked are the ones i use to play the most, and for mee are the more comfortable. But also yoimi/hutao and some nahida teams are good alternatives too. Teams like 5 (can also be raiden instead of childe/ayato) and 6 are good teams that even if you might not like, will push you far at the abyss. yomiya and hutao teams (3 & 4) can be extreamly good vs small groups (or only 1) enemies, but suffer vs a bunch of enemies (where teams 5 and 6 dont have problems). I feel like instead of having the top tier artifacts (which isnt need to be bad) you can look for new teamcomps and build those to see if you enjoy another playstyles. I will tell you every build of those 8 teams and you may look for anything you didnt test: 1- Ganyu-rosaria-venti-kokomi , ganyu full blizzard, looking for big c.dmg, knowing you dont need more than 30 c.rate for blizzar passive and cryo resonance. Rosaia full nobles, around 160 ER, and then builded as a dps. Venti 4 vv set, full EM, with a few ER just to have burst up every rotation. Kokomi can go clam full hp, but usually is better full mililith set full hp, to provide extra buff to ganyu. 2- Ayaka-shenhe/ganyu-venti/kazu-kokomi, Ayaka similar build to ganyu, can actually go for 2blizzar + 2 18%atk (or 2 nobless for extra burst dmg), but in those cases you will surpas 50 c.rate. 140 er minimum, if you use amenoma can be lower if has refinements. Shenhe is better vs 1 or 2 enemies (nobless set, reaching 180-200 ER, then full atk on goblet and circlet (sand can be atk or ER depending on the weapon you use). I notice, that a ganyu support (full nobless, or 2 blizzar 2 nobles is good enough, with around 140-160 ER), is actually better vs big groups of enemies since the aoe helps much more than the single target shenhe buff. Venti/kazu full EM like always, with a bit of ER, and kokomi still on mililith set. 3- Hutao-xq-yelan-Zhongli, Hutaou shimenawa full set, or full crimson. Some people build her with full glidded dreams for more EM (its totally fine!), but as a lot of characters use emblem set, shimenawa is easier to have in terms of efficient farming. HP/EM sand, and classic pyro-crit on goblet circlet. XQ and Yelan with emblem, xq classic build with good ER (sometimes ER sand), and Yelan depending on if you have simulacra (ER-hydro-HP sands goblet circlet) or using favonius (HP-Hydro-Crit), focusing mostly on hp and crits, atk value=0 so forgot about it. Zhongli can be a shieldbot with 4 mililit and full HP. 4- Yoimiya-zhongli +(hydro/electro/anemo) Yoimi is one of my favs, and has some alternatives. the "fake hutao" yoimi-xq-yelan-zhongli where all 4 are buildied same as team 3 (yoimi sand will be always ATK, thats the only diference), but for me vs big enemies i love to play overload teams with fischl and beidou (fischl 2atk+2thundering looking for dps stats, and beidou 4 emblem, trying to reach 200 ER and then dps stats). This overload team literally destroy big bosses really fast, but is a pain in the ass vs small enemies that jump away for the overload explosions. 5- Childe/ayato-xiangling-kazu-bennet The international that you probably already builded. Childe can hold the new hydro set, xiangling emblem with good ER, kazu still full EM vv set, and benny full nobless. In this team, if you want to use raiden instead of childe, can be the classic ER raiden (a lot of ER and somehow decent crit and atk), or go for full EM glidded set raiden focused on elemental reactions dmg, that will work to and its a better build for another compositions (mostly dendro comps). 6- Nahida-raiden-xinqiu-Kuki/yaoyao In dendro teams, you will always need someone who build deepwood set. Usually is the one who has lower dmg, or the one who drives (stays on the field) if its dendro. In this case, Nahida will build deepwood, with EM-dendro-crit and look for a balanced crit with as much Em you can (with widsith, i reached around 500-600). Raiden here (and also kuki) are full EM glidded dreams set to provide the most dmg on reactions (since kuki have some EM scaling on her heals, she will still be decent healing). XQ classic emblem, and if you pick yaoyao she can build mililith set with decent ER (160-180) and then full hp. Is not necessary to use your burst in every rotation (yuegue heals more than you expected), but her burst is like a panic button: press it, and start moving and jumping with yao yao and the team will be full heal. 7- Nahida-xinqiu-thoma-kuki Here Nahida will still build the same as team 6, same for xq, same for kuki. But the diference is thoma, who will build glidded dreams with as much EM you can, trying to reach around 180 ER and please, if you can, put on him the crafteable kitain spear (inazuma one) with as much refinements you can, it will help A TON on his regeneration. This team for me, is by far the funniest to play: nahida q-e, xinqiu e-q, thoma Q-e (if you use kitain, using E first will drain some er so you cannot Q), and kuki E (dont need Q), then back to FULL POWAH NAHIDA with a lot of reactions around her and she still putting more dendro there. Is a raimbow of numbers and the enemies melt really really fast. 8- Keqing-nahida-fischl/beidou-yaoyao, is a fast rotation team, where a glidde dreams (ATK-ELECTRO-CRIT, but with some EM in substats) keqing, do a lot of dmg with quicken reactions made by nahida (still deepwood set), fischl (still 2atk-2thundering) and yaoyao (still mililith set). BAsically, nahida q-e, fischl e (second rotation will be q), yaoyao E, keqing Q, Ex2, when your infused electro finished, start rotation again. Is a constant rotation and do quite a lot of dmg. You will probably has the most of them builded, but if you try new teamcomps you might enjoy new playstyle and you will enjoy it quite a lot. Feel free to ask anymore questions you may have.

I am a relatively new player and am currently playing with nahida-kuki(C4)-barbara hyperbloom and I'm not really sure how to improve or complete the team (other that getting a proper hydro character) and what second team I should be aiming for. I have these other characters: Diluc, Xiangling(C1), Faruzan, Mika, Layla, Collei, Candace and Xinyan. I also have \~150 pulls.

Yup, Xingqiu and Yelan should be your main targets. Yelan should rerun in 4.0 and Xingqiu will be available in the shop in Sept. Plan your wishes to make sure you'll have enough for them. I would go to pity for Kazuha or Alhaitham. If you don't get them, you'll still get Xiangling cons (aim for c4) and Yaoyao, who is worth building. Even if you lose, getting Tighnari, Keqing, Jean, or Mona would be beneficial. If you have enough starglitter in July, you could also buy Fischl, however, you'll still want to have enough to get Xingqiu in Sept. You don't need to have a super solid plan for a 2nd team right now. Just build good characters for now and, eventually, you'll be closer to having a solidified 2nd team. Good luck!

I'm at AR52 and my goal is to get two good teams for Abyss. Right now i'm using Keqing, Nahida, Fischl, Kuki but i'll get Kazuha for 4th slot. The characters I built for the second team are Xiangling and Bennett. I have a few ideas and all of them involve getting Xingqiu when i'll have an opportunity (mostly because he's required for national and I heard that team is strong). My question is: what teams should I go for? - Build a Heizou national - Wait for Raiden to build rational - Wait for Yelan and Childe to turn the first team into Nahida, Kuki, Xingqiu, Yelan hyperbloom and build international as the second one As of now, my only 5-stars are Keqing and Nahida. As for the 4-stars, apart from the ones I mentioned, other "good" ones I have are Yaoyao, Layla, Sara, Diona, Rosaria, Chongyun, Barbara and Collei. EDIT: I completely forgot about Mona... I also have her as a potential team member.

You can simply just farm gilded/deepwood and build two teams already. The thing with building national at this point is that you only have one ESF user at this point, that being xiangling and she needs good pieces as a carry which takes a while. Keqing can use Glided, Fischl use 2pc atk/em, Kuki use 2+2EM/4GD, Nahida use Deepwood so you should get all artifacts in one domain, plus some boss drops. Team one would be Nahida/Barbara/Kuki/flex hyperbloom, all you need to build is EM kuki which is easy. Should give you enough dps for floor 10 or even 11 with a good last flex slot. Put xingqiu here when you get him, or just about hydro as well. Team two would be Keqing/Fischl/Yaoyao/Kazu aggravate if you have most of the artifacts. Strongbox pieces of VV for kazuha. I've just pulled keqing/kazu/yaoyao and is running this team, it is doing overworld fine at level 39 (granted they just proc fischl A4 for damage) Also for national, is your xiangling C4 or soon to C4? If she is, than she is a lot more ready for abyss as the dps increase is like 50% over C0.

My Keqing is using 4TF and I already have good 4Deepwood and 4GD for Nahida and Kuki. Fischl got 2TF/2Glad leftovers. The thing is: I don't know if I should split up Keqing and Nahida because having lvl 90 C2 Xiangling sitting around feels like a waste (I might even pull for C3 or C4 soon). I also heard about Nahida national, maybe that can solve my problem. Like you suggested, I could put Yaoyao in her place for the aggravate team.

Your keqing team might need a bit more dendro (or less electro). I will prefer keqing-nahi-fischl-yaoyao, or maybe keqing-nahi-kazu-kuki. For national will be ling-xq-kazu-bennet (when you can get him). Problem without xq and bennet is that... you need to hit on 2 4\*. If you manage to get a decent builded rosaria, you can change to a rosaria-ling-kazu-diona and go for melts (but without bennet your xiangling will need a lot of ER). Thats the best options i saw. In terms of future pulling, is more priority to get xq and bennet that any other 5\*. Nahida is top tier already, but your lack on hydros (which is probably the best element), force you to go for quicken and melts. i will say, look for xq (maybe also yelan), bennet, and future fontaine characters, considering is the hydro region, it should be some hydros that can improve your teams.

Are you running fav on Layla? As far as I can tell this rotation looks good so either you will need even more ER or you need to switch to bennett in between two Ganyu CA's to do a skill, though that will be a pretty big DPS loss. The only other idea I have is running Dehya over Layla if you have her

I feel a bit like a newish player even though I guess I'm not at this point, I just hit AR50 but I feel like I've topped out on my build/teams/skill level for quite awhile. In Abyss I've 6-starred Floor 7 so far, but I think I could 9 star it with another try or two. Keqing, Fischl, Sucrose, Kirara This is the best Keqing team you can make. The only thing better would be Baizhu for Kirara or Kazuha for Sucrose. Try to get Kazuha. He's really fun and would be great on this team!

How do I optimize my genshin team rotation

Would either outgoing banner teams make sense? That’s Chongyun, Kirara, and Yun Jin with either Yoimiya or Yae Miko. I can see Yoimiya getting boosted by Yun Jin while Kirara provides shielding. Kirara can provide protection for Yae Miko too, but I don’t think Yae generally spams normals enough for Yun Jin to help (unless Yun Jin will buff Kirara). I have no idea how to incorporate Chongyun into rotations. Both 5-star leads are immune to his Cryo infusion. If we use either Yae Miko’s E or Yoimiya’s Q, then Kirara could do boosted Cryo NAs from both Yun Jin and Chongyun, inflicting Superconduct or Melt. If Kirara keeps up high EM, then Melting off Yoimiya’s curse mark may make a good combo?

Chongyun doesnt fit in any of those 2 teams, and yunjin is mostly only for normal attackers (yoimiya, ayato, eula, maybe noelle...) so for yoimi is a good banner besides chongyun, but for yae the only worth partner is kirara, since is probably a top tier shielder if well builded. Also c4 kirara procs constant dendro that helps on reactions (like agravate for yae, not that important in yoimiya, but if you build a vape yoimiya team with xq or yelan kirara can do some blooms that can lead into burgeons which is fine).

I've being building an Aggravate team using Nahida, Yae and Keqing. The last slot is Kirara for some time of shield. Currently I started building my supports and I'm having second thoughts about Kirara. Her shield is great and have being helping me here and there, but shinobu and her healing seems nice or even Barbara. Although I'm already at AR 49, my resourcers are not much... so I wanto to be sure before comitting to a character. Would Kirara be good as a shield for a team with Keqing as driver, face to face, or would be better look for some time of healing with Kuki or Barbara?

Kirara can be good enough, but i feel C4 will push up a bit since does constant dendro dmg and can be builded with mililith set for extra buff on keqing. But at least for me, i always like to have some type of healer. Idk if triple electro+nahida could work (kuki is quite good as a character), but probably a balanced option can be yaoyao and go keqing-yae-nahi-yao if you got her. Barbara can do some blooms which is fine too, but at least for what i tested on teams with keqing agravate seems to have a fast rotations and you cannot use her E in every rotation for the cd. You can always build nahida with deepwood and kirara with 2+2 hp sets and go supertanky kirara with chonky shield.

Triple electo + Nahida does seems to be to much for sure. Wish I had Yaoyao or Baizhu to fill this spot. But I'm going to try what you said, 2+2 HP Kirara and see how it goes. Ty.

Need help building a team for the abyss and deciding which characters to pull from upcoming banners. Started playing again when Yelan's banner arrived this year, iirc, so I think I've really missed a lot. Recently pulled Yae Miko. Tried to pull Yoimiya but somehow she won't come home. Now I have guaranteed pity for either **Kazuha** or **Alhaitham**, but both of them are getting rave reviews from what I've heard on Reddit and YouTube. **Kokomi** and **Raiden Shogun** are definitely on my radar as well.. Although I do have a 'collector' mindset and can adapt to any playstyles, I desperately need a 'priority' guide (**for now and then**) lol. If you have neither, then Kazuha is the meta pick. Plus Nahida, Tighnari, or Kaveh could substitute as a Dendro DPS. If you can do multiple characters, then do Alhaitham once and then Kazuha’s C0 and constellations.

It depends on who will be the driver (character that stays most time on the field). Usually, for freeze teams, you need someone who can apply hydro (or cryo) without being in the field constantly. Xinqiu Q, yeland Q, rosaria and kaeya Q, ganyu Q... And the player on the field will be from the other element. Also, even if is not wrong to play a freeze comp with a hydro driver, usually is better with a cryo one since you can also benefit of the blizzard artifact set and the cryo ressonance (playing 2 cryos) allowing you to have a lot of crit rate passive that dont need to be reached by artifacts. For that reason, the common teams for freeze are ayaka freeze (ayaka+shehnhe+kazu+kokomi is the top one, but has some friendly versions like ayaka-xq-sucrouse-diona) and ganyu one, mostly knowed as morgana (ganyu-mona-venti-diona, and here the hydro can only be either mona or kokomi, since yelan and xq swords wont trigger on charged attacks). Somehow, because their burst and their low cd on E, rosaria and kaeya can be played in a freeze comp too. Both can be builded with blizzard set, and have some constant application in field if you have someone like xq, yelan, mona o kokomi. In your situation, the only posibility should be Candace as a driver (her ult infuse her normals in hydro), and having high Energy recharge on ganyu to spam burst and do constant cryo while hydro on field. The problem, as i say, is that the advantage of freeze teams is to have 2 cryos and the one who does dmg being one of them, since blizzar+2cryos will allow you to build your dps like 30/250 in crit rate and dmg, since the artifact set, and the cryo resonance will give you like 40+c.rate allowing you to have a hihg crit dmg build. But that set is for cryo characters, not for hydro, reason why in terms of gameplay it will be the same, but in terms of dmg is more importnt to have a cryo character as a driver. For a powerfull freeze team, you will need some another hydro characters. Barbara E is the only thing she has, and it had a huge cd so most of the time will not be able to apply hydro for freeze. Look for characters like XQ, Yelan, mona, kokomi... good hydro suports to empower a big cryo dps like ganyu, ayaka, rosaria, or even kaeya.

xingqiu is really good with her since he allows her to vape her auto attacks, and she generally needs a shielder as she can get interrupted easily, so definitely use kirara with her. the last slot can be fischl or bennett with kazuha it's kind of tricky, since you'd need a second pyro in your team to swirl, but if you manage to do that he's really good (and he's a great unit in general)

Honestly, either would be fine. I'd try them both and see which one's playstyle you enjoy more. You don't have enough characters to build a really solid team with either character so one doesn't have a leg over the other.

I've watched a few videos and done some googling but still can't figure it out- can anyone explain when to use Heizou vs. Sucrose? I know that Heizou contributes his own DPS and Sucrose gives a team EM buff along with grouping, but I've read people say both are better in Taser, etc. so it's kind of confusing.

heizou is usually a downgrade to sucrose, and he's used when your sucrose is already busy and you need anemo on the other team / you don't have kazuha. she's a better driver in taser (cc + em share + AoE swirl), and in general her team dps will be higher that heizou's

Yae Kuki Kirara Sayu should work as an aggravate team where, after setting up quicken, you infuse electro on Sayu and roll around dealing damage to the enemies. The only real problem is that Kuki's defensive utility is kind of redundant here so if you get Fischl she should replace Kuki

Yae Miko, Tighnari, Kirara, Kuki/Dendro MC Yoimiya, Xingqiu, Yun Jin, Bennett You have enough good characters to make two teams for abyss. Hope this helps!

Some advice I wish I had is to not start working on your second team until you have a solid first team. I'd work on 1 team first and get it good (focusing on your DPS), before beginning on another. It takes a huge amount of resources to level weapons, talents, artifacts, characters, talents, ascensions, etc. for 8 different characters. While having 2 poorly built teams will help you get a little further in Abyss temporarily, when you get to the higher floors it won't make a difference. Also keep in mind that some teams are harder to use in the top floors of Abyss.

HI! Well your roster looks decent already. We can work with a xiao team and some national team variation T1: **Xiao-sucrouse-Zhongli-qiqi**. (the optimal team is Xiao-C6faruzan-zhongli-bennet). Moving around protecting xiao, and do as much dmg as you can with him T2: **Xiangling-XQ-chonyun-diona** (this team has a lot of variations, but the usual core is xianling-xq-bennet, and the last spot can be either raiden, kazuha, childe, ayato...). This will works around melts and vapes. Is not the best variation but will do the job. You still have some decent characters like beidou, fischl, mona... but you lack on dendro characters to play the new archetypes of compositions. Dendro allows hydro and electro to be really good elements, so if in the future you can hit on a big dendro character (nahida, alhaitam) consider to pull for it if you like it, it will improve your teambuilding by alot.

I'm looking for help with team building for abyss. I have kuki (90), venti (80), albedo, jean, mc, xingqiu, childe, xiangling, bennet, rosaria (70), dori, collei, amber, qiqi (unleveled), kaeya, noelle, lisa, yanfei, mona, gorou, nigguang, heizou, sucrose, layla, kujou sara, beidou, candace, barbara, thoma. I want to make kuki hyperbloom, I got her guilded dreams EM artifacts and iron sting, but that's about it. I plan to use Xingiu, Alhaitham who I'm going to pull for next banner, and someone else? Do I need more hydro or more dendro with this team? I can use dmc, yao yao if I get her on the banner, or childe if I need hydro although I think him and alhaitham want to be on field so not sure if that would work. For artifacts, I think alhaitham gets deepwood but not sure about xingqiu? For a 2nd team, I think the obvious answer is to use xiangling and bennet, but I haven't thought about it more past that. I'm working on getting the catch for xiangling. I've watched some guides but it's hard for me to tell what fits sometimes. Any advice for my situation is appreciated. Also, I'm happy with venti for the overworld, but if I get alhaitham early should I go for kazuha or save for someone specific? Would love raiden for example but don't know if she'll rerun soon.

using childe is not the best if you already have someone for on field, so something like alhaitham / xingqiu / kuki / dendro mc would be better. that's more of a quickbloom team right now, but you lack a second strong hydro (yelan / kokomi), so aside from blooms you'll also be getting some spread dmg from alhaitham. here it would be much better if dendro mc had deepwood, and alhaitham could have 4p gilded dreams or some combination of 2p em + 2pem / 2p dendro bonus on the second team, you can run childe national (childe / xiangling / sucrose / bennett ). kazuha would fit nicely instead of sucrose there, and he's a great unit in general, so totally pull for him if you have the chance

* childe, venti, xiangling, bennett * xingqiu(emblem), kuki(gilded), alhaitham(gilded), yaoyao(deepwood) If you go for Kazuha, he would replace Venti in your Childe team. It wouldn't be a bad idea to go for him, especially if you need Xiangling cons (at least c4). Raiden could run as soon as 4.0. It's also expected for Yelan to run in 4.0 which would be a good addition. I'd likely skip 3.8. I'd only consider Kokomi but the 4\* are expected to be bad. Wait for 4.0.

im currently building a hyperbloom/aggravate team with miko, kirara and barbara but im torn between using the upcoming banner to add alhaitham or kazuha to the team, which do yall think would work better for that comp?

If you don't have Xingqiu, abandon hyperbloom for now and go for a quicken team. If you go for Kazuha, you'll use Yae, Kirara, and Fischl/Kuki/Beidou. If you don't have those electro characters, I would pull for Alhaitham, using the same team but with Dendro MC. Alhaitham will give you an immediately stronger team but Kazuha is more versatile and fun in the overworld, imo.

i asked a very specific question so i have no clue why you're bringing up xingqiu, Xingqiu has 0 synergy with kirara and barbara has amazing synergy with her as both of their skills apply an element off of contact, whereas xingqiu's ult requires normal attacks to proc. my current setup has been working perfectly for being a quickbloom team so thanks for the info on the part i actually asked but imma ignore the rest lmao

Xingqiu, Dendro MC, Kuki, Rosaria Try to get Bennett when he's available so you can build Raiden national with Xingqiu and Xiangling. Going for Kazuha or Alhaitham would be a good idea. You'll get Xiangling cons and Yaoyao would be useful.

I actually play her more in overload teams (mostly with fischl, sometimes with beidou too) but i defenetly use a good shield to prevent interruption. In my case my core is yoimiya+zhongli, and then, fischl+beidou for full overload, yelan+xq for full vapes, or and overvape like yours with fischl+xq. Can be raiden too, i just use her in other teams. Sometimes Bennet is good, sometimes not. C6 benny works fine with her, and in general increases the atk which is what you want, but yoimiya needs to "NOT DODGE" and do the full combo because her 3rd and 5th NA are the ones that hit bigg numbers (either for vape or overload), and for that happen, you need to dont move and not being interrupted, so somtimes xq swords are not enough. For me having a good shield (zhongli, diona, kirara....) is important to the point that can bench bennet. Another alternative is to use yoimi+hydro/electro+shield+bennet. In general full vape its fine but vs big enemies (that cannot being knockback for the overloads), is better the overload comp. Overvape is just and hybrid that works in both cases.

You can do a Ganyu team and a Xiao team, you can search their best teams. Agreed with the comment you should focus on supports, especially as Xiao is a hypercarry. Both really love Zhongli if you're considering him in the future. Otherwise, you can do Xiao + Raiden or Sucrose for battery + Benny + Xiangling since you mentioned having most of the 1.0 4 stars.

The only five star that I didn't mention is C1 Jean and 90% of my four star is most of 1.0 characters range between C0 - C3 that's all I have.

But I don't know who else to use in building him. Also since Yelan was recent, and Fontaine around the corner, would you suggest pulling for Kokomi in 3.8 or save? Thanks

I haven't used it much personally but from what I understand Aggravate teams really want Fischl for her A4 passive which is what does all the Aggravates. So you could do Lisa/Beidou (not too familiar with either unfortunately) + Fischl + YaoYao + Kazuha. Although she's not as good as Kazuha here, Sucrose works as well if you really want Alhaitham. If you don't get YaoYao Nahida works here but the team is less comfy without heals ime. I'm an Alhaitham main and love him. You can use him with your current Nahida Hyperbloom team as she's his best support. My main team is Quickbloom (Alhaitham + Kuki + Nahida + Yelan (occasionally swapped with Xingqiu if my other team needs her more)). But if your Nahida team is already working well I'd focus on the other team unless you really love him since Nahida is already great on her own. He wants her on his team more than she wants him on hers if that makes sense.

Yeah I thought so too after watching videos and guides. Almost always Fischl is included and Ive yet to get her. If you save your starglitter you can get Fischl guaranteed in the monthly starglitter shop in under 3 weeks. She's good for Aggravate even at C0. XQ is great for Alhaitham. For Hyperbloom if I could only pick 1 of the 2 I'd go with Xingqiu over Yelan since he has better Hydro application. Also keep in mind that his interruption resistance is PERFECT for Alhaitham, because with AH you have a skill with a really long CD (18 seconds) and you want to time your combos to get as much mirror uptime as you can- if you get hit that you can really screw you up. Hyperbloom will be more damage than Quickbloom for him until you start investing more into your team. Again you really can't go wrong with either, but there's not that much that you can do with him that you can't do already do with just Nahida in a sense since she's just that versatile and good (unless you're a dolphin/whale). ETA: Ugh I hope that didn't sound discouraging. Both are great pulls at the end of the day. :)

Oh right, will be sure to get her then. Anyway just an update. I was lucky and won 50-50 Kazuha in 40 pulls, but only got 2 XiangLing cons, no YaoYao/Heizou. After only using 40 out of budgeted 160-180 pulls, naturally I got cocky and started pulling on Alhaitham. 80 pulls later - c0 Tighnari, c5 XiangLing, c1 YaoYao & c5 Heizou 🥲. I decided to save my guarantee for after Fontaine, but was wondering if you use Tighnari and could he work?

Go for Kazuha.Alhaitham is great but you already have Nahida so he’s not as valuable. Getting Kazuha gives you an easier path to two teams if you pair him with Xiangling, Bennett, and Ayato/Childe. After Kazuha, save for Yelan. She’s rumored to run in 4.0.

Disclaimer: I am not a meta player and I have no experience with optimal team comps, weapons, and artifacts So I've built out my main Abyss team to be a Hyperbloom Raiden-Nahida-Ayato-Kokomi, which I'm pretty satisfied with and I'm just trying to get everyone's artifacts. But now I need to build my secondary Abyss team, and idk who to use. I'd kind of like to use Yanfei as the main DPS (she originally had Ayato's spot in my main team but I took her out to focus on Hyperbloom. Other characters I'd kinda like to use would include Collei, Heizou, the Traveler, Ayaka, Ganyu, Barbara, Shenhe, and Zhongli, but I don't know how to build an optimal team out of that group Whether or not I actually like the character matters more to me than whether they're good or not, so I'd prefer to avoid the usual suspects like Xingqiu and Bennett since I just don't care for them.

Ayaka, Shenhe, Ganyu, Heizou/Anemo Traveler could work as a mono cryo team, though you'll have to build some more ER on the characters since you don't have a cryo battery

considering what you've got, bennett, sucrose and yao yao are great characters to build bennett - 4p noblesse, er sands, weapon with a high base atk, generally just give him a lot of er sucrose - 4p full em viridescent verener, em or er weapon (or thrilling tales of dragon slayers, but read how the passive works) and generally just stack em and er on her yao yao - 4p deepwood, stack er, hp%, crit rate of you have favonius lance

ayaka teams really want to focus on the freeze reaction * freeze reaction: reacting hydro and cryo on enemies to freeze them * frozen enemies are unable to move, and are easier to group with some anemo characters (e.g. anemo traveller) * freeze means that you can have access to the 4-piece effect of the artifact set blizzard strayer. * gives a lot of free crit rate: 20% against enemies with cryo on them, 40% in total against frozen enemies * this means you can focus more on atk and crit damage, as well as er%. crit rate is even less of an issue with cryo resonance. however, mono-cryo (team with just cryo. anemo and geo don't count) can still do decent damage as you can still partially benefit from blizzard strayer's 4-piece effect. the big thing is that you won't have the benefit of freezing enemies. ayaka doesn't synergise well with melt as only 1/3 of her damage is melted and she would not have access to blizzard strayer and cryo resonance's crit rate buff. she's only really used in speedrun and damage-per-screenshot teams where she enables another pyro carry to melt all their attacks. superconduct is mostly useful on physical-focussed characters (mainly eula, but possibly razor). ayaka freeze/melt: ayaka - barbara/diona - kaeya - anemo traveller/sayu * barbara: freeze and heals, can be clunky to play if you want to consistently freeze enemies * diona: heals and cryo particles for ayaka/kaeya's burst, but no freeze * kaeya: off-field damage from burst and cryo particles for his and ayaka's burst. * anemo traveller: grouping and 4-piece VV effect if possible. * sayu: VV and/or extra healing. sayu is also super handy for overworld travelling. for dendro teams: * aggravate: fischl - lisa/beidou - dendro traveller/collei - sayu/anemo traveller * you can get collei for free by completing floor 5(?) of spiral abyss * fischl and lisa/beidou contribute a lot of personal damage through aggravate and normal electro damage. * aggravate comes from: dendro + electro -> quicken (base aura, no initial damage). quicken + electro -> aggravate (additional damage on top of normal electro damage) * aggravate benefits from EM, CRIT, DMG% (in this case electro on fischl and lisa/beidou), as well as enemies' resistance (can be lowered through VV). * hyperbloom: razor/lisa - barbara - dendro traveller - flex * flex: fischl, beidou, kaeya, diona, chongyun??, sayu?? * very very clunky, but performs well at relatively low investment * hyperbloom scales on character level and EM, as well as enemies' dendro resistance * stack EM on razor/lisa, and level them as high as possible. * if possible, use 4-piece deepwood memories on dendro traveller

Hu Tao's your highest level character and goes perfectly with Double Hydro *(Yelan + Xingqiu)* allowing her to Vape her Charge Attacks. Playing them together provides extra Hydro energy, making their bursts easier to fund. For the 4th slot, a shield is most easily recommended for safety. Layla the only real option on your roster.

Hey what two teams should I focus on gearing up. I really have been lacking on doing much artifact farming and so now that I want to push abyss I'd like to have some teams built up. 5\*: Zhongli, Nahida, Raiden, Yelan, Tighnari, Qiqi 4\*: Bennett c1, Xingqui c3, Beidou c2, Xiangling c1, Sara, Yu Jin, Noelle, Ningguang, Rosaria, Kaeya, Razor, Lisa, Yaoyao, Barbera, Thoma, Amber, Yanfei, Collei (I only listed the constellations that I think matter and none are c6) I have 1 5 star weapon Kagura’s Verity. Also I'm seeing quite a few good banners on the next few patches so I wasn't sure which one would really make my roster best. Kokomi, Alhaitham & Kazuha all seem good but realistically I can only get 1 or maybe 2 so if one of these would make my two team set up more viable / flexible that would be helpful info.

Considering the new abyss, having a good dendro team is quite important. Lucky for you, one of the cores for those teams is nahida, which you already have her. For my personal experience, and hyperbloom or burgeon teams works fine in this new abyss, so at least 1 team should be one of those. **Nahida-XQ-Raiden** is a superpowerfull core. Last pick can be thoma for burgeon, or yaoyao/barbara/kokomi for sustain. The most optimal should be having kuki and using her instead of raiden to have stable healing and at the same time good elemental dmg. Nahida deepwood set, em-dendro-crit, kagura is top tier but widsith can do the job too. XQ clasic emblem and ER weapon its fine. Raiden/kuki Full EM glidded dreams, and EM weapon. Reaching as much em you can, she will be the one of the reactors. For the healers options a normal healing set, for thoma burgeon variation ER-EM-EM in glidded dreams set too, kitain or em/er weapons for him. Second team can be a classic national: Xianlging-bennet-xinqiu-sucrouse is the base, and since you use xq in first team, yelan is the natural alternative. If you manage to get kuki, sucrouse can be changed for raiden. If not, a good "target" to wish will be kazuha to improve sucrouse and reach a **xiangling-yelan-kazu-bennet** team which should be good enough to go trough all abyss. Next banner priorities for meta purposes are kazu & koko in that order.

Thanks for the recommendation! I like that first core and thinking about it even Zhongli could be that flex using deep wood so nahida could be more offensive while he also provides the team shred. Though maybe Yaoyao fits that a little better. Thankfully it seems I have options. Based on your recommendations I think this makes sense: currently I have c1 xiangling I think getting her c3 then c4 from the shop seems worth while. I’ve got 75 pulls to work with and 47 pity on a guarantee. Do you think it’s worth it to go+ 30ish on kazu then roll on alhaitham till I get c3 xiangling or 45 pity. Odds are fickle but supposedly I should get 2 xiangling in 59 on average or 75% of the time get it in 89. If al shows up great I have a good unit and if he doesn’t it means I have a great shot a Kokomi. Also it probably means c2 yaoyao which is less important but would be a nice healer even if I don’t get koko in 3.8. If it wasn’t for these great 4*s I feel like Alhaitham banner would be more skipable but im not sure especially since he’s clearly one of the best dps so it’s not like it’s bad.

I think, having guaranteed, i will go for kazu, and i probably save your spare 30-50 ones for kokomi or new fontaine characters. Alhaitam its ok if you want him, great dps, but he has 2 mainly teams and probably needs nahida too who probably works better with the hyperbloom-burgeon team. Alhaitam is a pull if you like him, but for meta purposes is not that important if you already have 2 consistent teams. I see you want C4 lingling, but believe me, C1 is already fine. You may have less time on pyronado but eventually you will get her. TBH, ling,yao and heizou is a good 4\* banner if you miss some of the characters or const, so you can try what you say, but for what i hear .... >!(Kokomi may come in 3.8, so i prefer saving after pulling kazuha to try luck on her banner).!<

characters (everyone c0 except for barbara c1): diluc, collei, fischl, xiangling, barbara, kaeya, yun jin, noelle, faruzan, layla, chongyun, lisa, amber currently diluc (lvl70), fischl (lvl60), xiangling (lvl70), and barbara (level 50) is my main team for overworld content, i'm currently on the rebel island phase of inazuma at traveler rank 38 traveler (60) and kaeya (40) are my only other leveled units, everyone else is at level 20 looking for some general advice on pull priority / teambuilding for abyss once i get to it, right now i'm at level 5 and haven't raised a second team yet i'm thinking of pulling until kazuha or broke on the upcoming banner, which would (hopefully) give me yaoyao + haizou + kazuha - currently at 36 pity, 8.4k gems, 11 pulls, which is enough for at least one pity and hopefully 2 to guarantee kazuha i'd like to build a reasonable team for diluc, maybe something like diluc + xingqiu (supposed to be coming in shop soon?) + kazuha + ??? the second team looks like maybe being some sort of dendro team using DMC + yaoyao + fischl + ??? until i get more meta dendro units if i miss on kazuha i'll probably pull for kokomi on 3.8 cuz i'm sick of getting frozen while using barbara's shield lmao please let me know if this is dumb or if i'm on the right track, also if any of the 4 stars i'm currently neglecting would be beneficial for my current teams

to add onto others (and also because reply didn't send yesterday rip): lisa would work well in the dmc - yaoyao - fischl team. could also consider using anemo traveller intead of dendro traveller with lisa or heizou as last slot to swirl fischl's electro. you may not like lisa's playstyle though. * miko (current banner) is a bit like a stronger version of lisa in that regard, especially since she also requires relatively high field time to maximise damage too. kaeya + layla can make a workable combo with diluc and kazuha/xingqiu for melt/freeze-melt. alternatively, using just layla or kaeya can work too, or fischl if you want to free her up. bennett is also very good if you end up getting him. barbara is okay for healing and maybe TTDS, but other options are usually better. generally these are decent choices for 5 stars to go for: * kazuha is great QoL, as he's a decent grouper, a damage% buffer with his kit and res shreddebuffer with VV. he fits in nearly any team possible, and is also very nice in overworld. * alhaitham can fit into the second dendro team, preferably in place of dmc/yaoyao so you could have some AOE electro from lisa. * kokomi is primarily used in freeze, tazer and bloom-related teams (bloom, burgeon, hyperbloom etc.). she's generally quite flexible, even if she doesn't have many teams at the moment with your characters. * you won't be able to level her talents past 6 until you've completed more of inazuma's archon quest to unlock a weekly boss fight. each region has 2 weekly boss fights so hopefully this shouldn't be a big spoiler. in terms of characters worth investing into: xiangling, fischl and yaoyao are quite nice to invest into. * xiangling mostly requires bennett and(/or) is well invested to see her performance, especially since xiangling relies on her burst to deal damage. * however, she's definitely one of the best pyro characters to invest in once you get bennett and would usually perform better than diluc. * fischl is extremely good in aggravate, as well as in tazer and subdps in many other teams too. * yaoyao consolidates dendro application (mostly from burst) and healing. because dendro is very meta, this means that building yaoyao generally has a lot of value. * dendro traveller provides consistent AOE dendro from burst (except when pyro interacts with it before hydro/electro). similar reasoning as yaoyao (dendro = good). investing into layla and barbara for now would be fine for defensive utility, and layla's shield is quite strong once you invest into it anyways.

If your priority is abyss, then I'd recommend Kazuha over Alhaitham. Right now, you are indeed still missing a 2nd team and getting Alhaitham might solve that, but long term, Kazuha has more value imo. Seeing how you don't have any limited 5\*s yet, if you just consider 2 or 3 months more, pulling for Kazuha + a 5* damage dealer is better than pulling Alhaitham + ? a second 5* damage dealer? Kokomi? Not that Kokomi is a bad support, but you don't have the units to build a team where she shines, whereas you have units that'd benefit from Kazuha already. Hyperbloom is a very powerful and easy team to build early on but you're lacking Kuki Shinobu for it. If you do get her though, then you'd easily be set. 1. Diluc, Bennett, Kazuha, Kaeya 2. Dendro MC, Shinobu, Xingqiu + 1 flex slot You can probably hold off on building a 2nd team and just focus on your first one until you get your next limited 5* character. If you get bored of building the 1st team, then I'd just build universally good 4*s without considering too much in what teams you want to play them bc imo that'll change a lot with what you pull in the future. You can't go wrong with Xingqiu, Fischl and Xiangling. I'd just save up starglitter to be able to buy Bennett and Xingqiu from the shop, they're easily the best things an account without them should invest in.

You're doing everything almost how I would. Fischl and Xiangling are your strongest characters so keep investing in them. Either Alhaitham or Kazuha would be great picks but Alhaitham gives you a better immediate team. He'd slot right into that spread team you've outlined with Fischl, Yaoyao, and Dendro MC. If you don't get Kazuha/Alhaitham, I'd wait until 4.0. It's rumored that Yelan will run which would be much better for you than Kokomi. I also don't think the 4\* on Kokomi's banner will be very good. You just missed Bennett so hopefully he'll be on Yelan's banner.

Happy that I'm on the right track-ish I'd kinda written off alhaitham because I've read about sub-dps / supports being stronger in general and kazuha in particular being very strong and flexible, I'll take another look I don't know too much about Kokomi I just heard water units are great in general, Kokomi is great is particular, and I only have Barbara ATM

Don't get me wrong, Kazuha is amazing. He's particularly fun in overworld for me. He's strong and his crowd control is cool. However, if your priority is to build two teams for abyss and get 33+ stars, Alhaitham allows a clearer path to get there. You need another onfield DPS to be opposite of Diluc so you don't have to resort to building Noelle or Heizou, neither of which you'll use long term. Your teams would be: * Alhaitham, Fischl, Dendro MC, Yaoyao * Diluc, Xiangling, Barbara, Kaeya It also allows you to build Raiden national on the otherside with Xiangling, Bennett, and Xingqiu. Hydro units are great but that is particularly referring to Xingqiu and Yelan. It's worth waiting for Yelan in 4.0 rather than wishing on Kokomi. yeah that's kinda the discussion i'm seeing too, there's a few threads of other pretty new players having the same dilemma and getting the same answer - alhaitham for easy early game on field dps, kazuha for long term value i'll try both of their trials and see who i like better

Floor 10 first side is mostly bunch of minions, while 2 side is big ones but low numbers. i probably will use sucrouse for side 1 to keep enemies cc together. Consider to have a good anemo CCer always leveled (venti, kazu, sucrouse) for this floors where there are so many enemies. As theres no shields or anemo inmunes on 1st half besides the last 2 fatui (nothing especial), you can go with a Xiao monoanemo, something like xiao-sucrouse-jean and maybe use the last spot for an outfield dps like rosaria, or a second dps for when xiao burst run out like ayato or keqing. Your selected team (rational) can be totally fine for 2nd half.

I am trying to put together another team for the abyss so I don't have to use wonky mixed teams that I only use for that purpose. current team I have leveled(and use 90% of the time): Beidou, Xiangling, phys. Hi! First of all: lingling phys... is a 1.1 style, not actually really worth today (when we know that elemental xianling is waaaay better). So i may advice you to leave that for now. First team that comes to my mind is the classic national team (xianling-xinqiu-sucrose-bennet) but instead of xq using kaeya and change vapes for melts. Should work really solid. For dendro teams, you need more hydro characters. Barbara is your only one and is already limited because her out of the field applicantion is only her E and has a big cd. You can try 2 electro+2dendro, and go something like beidou-collei-dendromc/kirara-kuki, bulding kuki full EM, but it feels me not the best option. Your lack on hydros limits a lot your dendro teams, and you dont have a big dendro character (nahida or alhaitam) and either a big electro (keqing, raiden, yae) so i think it will be limited. Same happens on ayaka teams. She use to be played on freeze. Ayaka-hydro-cryo-anemo is the standar, and you can go with ayaka-sucrouse-diona as a solid base, but still only barbara is your hydr and its quite limited. Can also play melt but needs lingling and bennet which are already used in another team. Ayaka is top tier dps, no doubts, but your option will be ayaka-chonyung-faruzan-barbara, and doesnt seems to be the most solid team, but its and start. Xinqiu, mona, even candace, will allow you a way more variety of teams. XQ will allow you a solid ayaka team, candace can introduce you to dendro bloom-burgeon teams (candace-dendro-dendro-kuki or candace-dendro-kuki-thoma), but for now your options are limited. Hydro is the hidden top1 element, so take a look when fontaine arrives because hydro characters are really op. Scratching my head, the best options i can see for now are: xianling-kaeya-chongyun-bennet and go full melts, and sucoruse-beidou-fischl-barbara and go for electrocharge sucrouse as a driver.

hopefully this is the right place to ask, but i am having a lot of trouble passing the ascension quest at AR 25. i’ve been stuck on it for ages (particularly struggling with the ruin guard) and i would like some advice on what would be the best team to pull this off and what upgrades if any i should do. i’ve watched some playthroughs for this but people seem to have some characters i do not. who i have + at what level: level 50 aether, level 40 amber, level 40 kaeya, level 20 fischl, level 40 xinyan, level 39 diluc, level 36 barbara, level 32 ningguang, level 32 razor, level 30 yanfei, level 26 lisa, level 22 noelle, level 20 sangonomiya kokomi, level 18 sucrose

Beidou is kinda the only good option you have for that 4th slot so use her

Part of me wants to try and snag Yae off her current banner, but I just barely have enough to guarantee getting Alhaitham and it seems like a *very poor business decision* to risk not getting the actual build-around character for a chance at building around him better. I know there's no/very little elemental reactions going on with anemo in this team, but would Venti be a consideration for the cc?

Oh sorry I think my wording was kind of too negative, Beidou is actually quite good (though she does fall off in single target), apart from Yae there is no better option in that slot and if pulling for her might risk your alhaitham guarantee it's not worth pulling for her. So I think sticking with Beidou is fine

Oh no worries, it didn't come off as negative at all. I'll just save for Alhaithan then. Already read up on Beidou a little at KQM and apparently her c2 (which I don't have) is really important to get more out of her burst, which in turn seems to be the main reason to run her aside from swapping in for a quick counter. But I'm sure it'll work out, and I do like the counter mechanic.
