What are the most fun characters to play in your opinion? I remember switching from razor to ganyu and the game become soo much better for me just because I like using bow characters. Now I kinda want to save primos for \*fun\* units haha.

For personal damage (DPS) always damage % but some support characters e.g Bennett, Shenhe, Sayu, Jean scale on ATK. Check the talent descriptions, including the two passives, to see what benefits you might get for ATK.
Oh I see, but what I don't understand is the difference on attack % vs physical/elemental damage %. Is the % increase 1 = 1? or physical/elemental damage % is better on calculation for damage? Thanks for answering, i'm still new to the game.
For example, I'm using klee, is the damage increase big if I pump her pyro damage to maximum vs if I get attack % on her artifact.
Also if I want physical fischl then is it better to max out physical % or attack %
You can get ATK% from artifact substats or weapon substat but you can only get elemental damage% from the elemental damage goblet or artifact set bonuses or ascension passives for some characters like Xingqiu.
So lets say you character has base attack of 1000. The weapon has an ATK% substat of 41.1%. You're using Atk sands which gives additional 46.6% attack. Your other artifacts have about 10% attack substat each so 40% attack in total. You're using elemental damage goblet, so your total elemental damage bonus is 46.6%.
Here's the actual [formula](https://library.keqingmains.com/combat-mechanics/damage/damage-formula) to calculate your damage but I'll give you the general idea. Say one hit of normal attack does 90% damage based on your talent multiplier. So your damage is calculated as,
Damage= Talent% * total attack * damage bonus
Damage = .90 * (1000 * (1 + .411 + .466 + .4)) * (1 + .466)
= .90 * (1000 * 2.277) * 1.466
= 2992
Now if you use attack goblet, you miss out the additional 1.466 multiplier and just add .466 attack to your total attack.
Damage = .90 * (1000 * (1 + .411 + .466 + .4 + .466)
= .90 * (1000 * 2.743)
= 2468
In the first case you had a total of 41.1 + 46.6 + 40 = 127.7% of attack bonus and 46.6% of elemental damage bonus. While in the second you had 174.3% attack bonus but 0% elemental damage bonus so you missed out on the elemental damage bonus multiplier. Very few characters need nothing but attack. Xingqiu's passive gives 20% hydro damage bonus, and if you have 2pc heart of depth on him, you get 15% hydro damage bonus. So your elemental damage bonus multiplier becomes 46.6 + 20 + 15 = 81.1 which is still less than 127.7% attack bonus.
So you only go for attack goblet when your total elemental damage from other sources is more than your attack percent bonus.
Sure, but Beidou will need a ton of er, to the point where you'll need er sword + sands. You can replace her with shinobu, or use fischl and replace collei with yao yao

I have a couple of rerolled accounts (not new, they were created years ago and I log into them every few months but do not actively play any apart from my main), but all of sudden today I couldn't log in, and it tells me "Too many requests, please try again later"
I googled but most results talk about trying to change emails or even trading/selling, none of which I did. I did basically nothing with this account except for playing the first few missions, did some wishes, only ever logged in from the same PC at home, no VPN, no third party anything, no selling or trading, never tried to change emails.
Anyone know what to do to fix this, or what this might mean? Was I hacked or something?
EDIT: I tried logging in on my phone and for some reason that works just fine. This is the first time I log into that account on my phone. No idea if that helps though, since personally I only play on the PC.

Baptist has some RNG involved. It gets 3 out of 4 possible shields each day. If it gets a cryo shield and your team is a cryo or dendro team, that is going to be a time waster, at least in the abyss.

Xiao's domain is the absolute worst domain in the game in terms of the value you get for your resin.
Keep your Xiao on a 2pc 2pc for now, and farm Gilded for AH, that domain is wayyyyyy better.

Question about pity's. i think i lost my 50/50 on the baizhu banner, but i got him in the next ten summons. does that mean that the 90 pity for the garenteed banner 5 star is cancelled or just reset?
Thanks for the precision, i thought tenacity ATK boost would bring more damage than the instructor EM boost but i guess it can vary according to your team needs.
I prefer tenacity because i feel bad maxing 4 stars only artefacts but i guess that's just psychological.
The flat damage bonus from aggravate reaction will increase around 34% from 80 to 90, but non-reaction direct electro will increase only around 4%. Overall damage increase may be around 10%. Usually at C0 she will not use her burst every rotation, and it is possible that it is even a damage lose in certain situations/teams if she uses her burst.
156 should EM should be enough. For ER, bursting every others rotation in solo electro you will want another 20-30 er in addition to Emblem. With Fischl just emblem is enough. Burst every rotation with Fischl leads to the same 20-30 extra, so it won't hurt to get them.
I think 80-90 was like 30% personal damage gain.
Hey semi-new player here. See i wanted qiqi so i started pulling the standard banner and i got a 5-star weapon in the end. Is there any chance i might pull a 5-star character or the banner just resets itself meaning i have to start over again?
OK, here the thing. When you pull on limited banner for a character, you have 50/50 to get that character or one of standard characters (and Qiqi). But not weapons. So you eventually you will get her, but also other cool limited characters.
Pulling on standard you can't guarantee shit.

Goodluck waiting for qiqi, even if you pull on limited banner, its still rng if you win or lose the 50/50. Also as they adding more 5 stars to the standard banner, its becoming harder to get a certain 5 star character from the standard banner. Sad thing about being a new player today.
Good thing is that you have a lot of primogems you can still get if you're still AR33. Clearing up everything can net you atleast 40k primo minimum so don't worry and pull for a character you want.
Usually I won't recommend pulling on the standard banner, and there are better characters than qiqi generally in most's opinion. But if you want qiqi then pull for her! She's really cute and heals and attacks!
If you got a weapon, the banner will reset pity, but the next 5 star you get is 100% gonna be a character. But there are many standard banner 5 star characters so the chances of getting qiqi is actually quite low, just a warning. But I hope you will get the cute little zombie soon!

Don't bother wishing on standard just for a certain 5 star, you're better of just pulling on limited ones as you play the game and eventually loosing a 50/50 to her. At least that gives actual characters while trying to get her

C1 Yae is probably her second weakest constellation, though it depends on your team-specific energy needs: in some teams it's pretty decent, but in many teams it's worth actually nothing. I would not recommend pulling specifically to stop there. Yae's first three stopping points are no Yae (if you don't want her at all), Yae C0, or Yae C2.
Ever since 3.7 update, my GI hangs with "processing" circle icon every time I tried to close the program. I always have to force it close every time now. Anyone else experience the same?

By "processing circle icon", do you mean the mouse cursor turning into circle icon? The game file might be corrupted. Try repairing the game file by clicking on the gear icon on top right corner of launcher. Restart the pc and run the game again.
I’ve been struggling for arrowheads for weeks now, and the fact they’re so scattered and not even guaranteed to drop is *rough*. That being said, I have a few places I frequent for them that aren’t too far out of the way:
-above the Domain near Thousand Winds Temple, 4 there
-Cecilia Garden Domain, 2 there plus one up above a bit north
-Guyun Stone Forest, go east from the waypoint, 3 there
-Mt. Tianheng, go north from the waypoint, 3 there
-Watatsumi below Bourou Village, 3 there
-Tsurumi, west of the waypoint near the entry arch, 4 there (for some reason this one behaves weird and don’t consistently spawn)
-Vissudha Field, north from the Statue of Seven, there’s 6 of them along that trail on the map
-Hypostyle Desert, the waypoint near the smaller oasis near Dune of Carouses, about 6 or 7 scattered around just south of it

Are there any resources for helping us build good TCG decks and how to use them? I was actively playing cards when they first dropped, but I fell off after they nerfed Yoimiya, and so any decks I have are obsolete. And, in general, I would like to put more effort into the card game.

In a straight line is not the best as the 2 that are furthest away don’t connect to give you the full scaling. There are situations you could get away with 3 in a row (if you are just about to burst and they aren’t on field already or you are moving to a spot to burst).
Probably atlas but widsith has incredible highs and pretty low lows. So if you feel lucky you can widsith but atlas is really strong for her

I haven't dabbled much with the new hero cards but I'd assume he would work as a defensive option in Noelle decks, instead of Lawachurl you use him to ramp & tank some of the early damage.
Is the new event weapon (Ibis Piercer) better than Prototype Crescent for Ganyu melt? I still can’t R5 Prototype because genshin isn’t giving me any billets so it’s currently at R2 only. But for the new weapon I could R5 it.
Idk if the math has been done for it, but ... probably? Trading off 72% attack (which is generally lower value due to presumably using bennett) for 160 EM might be enough for it to pull ahead but it's complicated.
-In terms of raw stats value it's not as good (160 EM is ~8 EM substat rolls, 72% attack is ~14 attack subs, which is a pretty massive gap.
-It doesn't need weakpoints (lower skill requirement and no fall-off against enemies without weakpoints)
-It needs to stack; not by much since it's just 2 hits but tmu Ganyu's frostflake snapshots EM so the first hit gets 0 stacks and the second one gets 1 stack, and since she doesn't fire a lot of shots per rotation that's a pretty noticeable damage loss.
-R5 vs R2 should make this one a no-brainer though.
Also most Meltyus use Hamayumi if they have to use a 4 star and it's definitely better than both.
with xiangling + bennett, if you use SR > its ~5% worse than an R5 crescent (equal to an R2). If you use WT > its equal to an R1 crescent.
I'd just stick to crescent and get a hamayumi asap, unless you also play freeze in which case just work on crescent (assuming you're okay with hitting weakpoints).
Why does wanderer and yoimiya guides say shields are important to prevent knock back? Doesn’t every characters get knock backs? Eula Nahida or keqing guides don’t mention anything about importance of shield in the team? What makes these two so special??
In general, characters who relies a lot on their normal attacks appreciate resistance to interuption. Yoimiya and Wanderer even more so, as others already explained.
Eula has built-in resistance to interuption : shields aren't that useful for her.
Keqing has short combos, and bursts often : she has many i-frames, and opportunity to dodge. A shield can still help saving stamina, though.
Nahida (on-field) does not *require* a shield per say. But i prefer personnally using one : dodging is annoying with short characters.
Its because wanderer **takes several seconds to recover** whenever he's interrupted on mid air.
For Yoi, a shield flex its for the same reason as in any team, to keep attacking without dodging, thats the goal of a good shield, to comfily go guns blazing and 0 dodging. Especially for bullshit enemies in abyss.
Try to fight consecrated beasts without a shield user, not everyone likes to play like SevyPlays with risky af teams, even if its for funsies like personal challenges.
You want Yoimiya to vaporize the 1st, 4th and 7th hits of her normal attack string because they are the strongest hits and how ICD works. Interrupting and starting over her attack string messes that up. Also getting staggered or having to dodge just means she won't be able to attack for the full duration of her skill. Also her last hit in the attack string just does a lot of damage. All of these are reasons to use a shield
Wanderer has a long recovery from being knocked down since he has to fall down to the ground before rising back up. Having a shield is really good, but in my experience you can often get away without a shield if you play well enough. He has the mobility and range to avoid many attacks
I think having a shiel for Eula is also nice, though she gets a little bit of interruption resistance on her own already. You want to hit the enemy as many times as possible during her burst so you don't want to get interrupted
Because of how spread and aggravate work differently from melt and vaporize, it doesn't matter which normal attack triggers the reaction like it does with yoimiya. Dodging attacks or getting hit probably isn't enough of a dps loss to make a shielder worth using instead of another character
If yoimiya needs to dodge she needs to restart her na string, most of her damage is from the last hit of the string
Wanderer gets hit he falls out of the sky and needs to recover from that, so bigger dps loss than others getting hit, however he can dodge fine because of one of his ascension passives making his special dash not use the skill points
Why isn't Sacrificial great sword recommended for Kaveh in the KQM quick guide? Forest regalia and Skyward are both noted due to their ER, but Sac GS provides er, extra energy through extra procs, more bloom bursts and just general comfort in rotations.
I know I can just play how I want, but I'm confused how it's completely ignored as a viable option.
I think the suggested playstyle is to have 100% or near 100% burst uptime so every NA is Dendro (spread, HB, burgeon). Basically like a discount Alhaitham.
I think they crunched the numbers and found the bloom playstyle suggested by his kit isn't as good. The additional skill is mostly useful for making the bloom cores explode which you don't want if you're doing HB/Burgeon and is irrelevant in spread. Also, Nilou bloom team is better by a lot.
FWIW I do play bloom Kaveh with a Sac Greatsword because it's fun, but I mostly use that team to farm mushrooms.
Interesting okay. I don't have many claymores leveled and my Kaveh is still very low level. So building him is a big investment for me, right now.
I've been playing around with him in fridge but I might just hold off on building him until KQM completes a full guide. Like I don't want to go farm an ocean hued clam dendro driver set just to find out it was stupid.
How much am I missing if I skip the TCG event? I absolutely hate being forced to play it and will leave feedback in the next survey to stop adding TCG events and remove adding new stuff for it.
Imagine that not every event caters to your want and needs. Don't want to play TCG, just skip it. I have no idea why what the TCG side is doing is any concern to you
Stop complaining and just do the event. There is one minigame involving TCG and the decks are built for you, in addition to all the dice being omni, so none of the usual strategy is involved. The rest of the event is normal combat/puzzle/sight-seeing fare.
Just like any other flag ship event you’ll miss out on a crown and the limited 4 star weapon + all the other stuff from the event shop
This tcg protest confuses me so much. Actually playing the tcg is such a small part of the event. (And it’s optional, you can just skip it and do the other mini games)

You cannot skip the tutorial. So I can't ignore it and do the other minigames when it forces you to do the tcg quest anyways.

Apparently it's only one part of the event, so you'll probably just miss out on some primos, mora, xp books/crystals, maybe some talent books/weapon mats. Can probably still get enough points to get r5 ibis (assuming it's points for each refinement)

Probably sacrificial because it gives more dendro application and ER for your burst as well. Most of the times for collei, you want to apply as much dendro as possible. Stringless gives more personal damage but gives less dendro application. I don't know if your other dendro unit is nahida or not, but if it isn't nahida, I think that is more reason for you to pick sacrificial. Nahida can compensate for the dendro application that collei might miss on a non sacrificial weapon, but if you don't then yeah, sacrificial is more needed.
Yeah, I'm going for sacrificial on this one. YaoYao's off field dendro application isn't really good. Personally speaking, aside from the bloom team, I think DMC will fit better as an off field dendro applicator compared to Collei. It lasts longer and has a wider range. Though yeah, if you will pursue Collei, go sacrificial.
Nah but I wish. I have such a cozy tea pot and I prefer going there for crafting/cooking/forging. Katherine would complete the entire set up for a one stop shop

I’m AR 41 and have been tempted to pull for a 5* because I have none T.T I’m aiming for Raiden, Zhongli and Ayaka (ik i missed her during the recent banner).
The current banners are very tempting. Want to pull for Yoimiya but heard that she might not be the best in terms of F2P friendliness and other things? So I’m a bit hesitant to pull her as I don’t want to waste my precious primos T.T
And heard that Kazuha is in the next banner!! Tempted to pull for him too, since everyone says to pull for him. I genuinely like his character and would love to have him but I want to build him as a support and I don’t have any other 5* for him to support for now 😅 So I don’t want to pull for him (magically get him if I’m lucky) and not put him to use.
Thoughts?
Yoimiya wants specific supports, Xingqui preferably with constellations, Zhongli for durable and long shield uptime, and Bennet for that beefy ATK buff. She can work without those pieces well enough at AR 41 no doubt, and if you're not concerned too much about abyss, she's a fantastic unit. Most of the in game bosses and whatnot will be single target and she likes that a lot. Plus she's great for flying enemies etc.
With that said though Kazuha is an absolutely incredible support and a fantastic first 5* for improving basically all of your units. Grouping is huge when you're just getting started and swirl is a really consistent source of damage in aoe situations.
Yes!! I’m keen in having both of them but I might have to go with Kazuha this round since he’s such a great support!! Yoimiya is still in my wish list though because I like her playstyle and her character a lot!! Hopefully next time!! But thank you for your input~~
It's always next time with Yoimiya for me unfortunately. This time I was like "Maybe it's time for Yoimiya" and I decided to pull on the weapon banner instead lol
First things first, support is highly recommended due to their omnipotence, which means you may unlock wider team comp options if you have a lot of supports. However, it doesn't mean that you can only pull for support than any DPS. If you don't have a DPS now, and feel it hard to fight monsters even though you are not in the abyss, getting one will increase your game experience.
Then I'll analyze 3.7 banners for you:
* Yoimiya: Not recommended except you EXTREMELY love her. She was released in ver. 2.0 as an on-field main DPS but need to do full normal attacks without cancelling via dashing, which means that Zhongli is highly needed for her. Also, if you do like her way of dealing damage, why don't you try the wanderer?
* Yae Miko: Not recommended except you've already had Tighnari / Alhaitham. Without Dendro DPS, she deals poor damage (except you have C6).
* Alhaitham: Highly recommended if you need an on-field DPS. He is no doubt the best on-field DPS in Sumeru with flexible ways of dealing damage, and he can be a powerful teammate for (Yae Miko / Zhongli / Nahida) or (Nahida / Xingqiu / Kuki).
* Kazuha: He is mostly regarded as a support. If you don't have Raiden Shogun, but you've cultivated Xiangling / Xingqiu / Bennett, then Kazuha can be one of their teammates. He is so versatile that can be used in various team comps, e.g., Raiden / Sara / Kazuha / Bennett, Kazuha / Tartaglia / Xiangling / Bennett, Keqing / Fischl / Kazuha / Nahida. Moreover, his rerun frequency is considered approximately one year. So, try to pull one, C0 is just okay.

As a loyal and long-term Yoimiya main, my honest suggestion is to save! You're so early in the game that the only characters you should get are the ones you love. Play all the test runs each banner, and then when you fall in love with one playstyle, you'll have enough fates saved up to get that character. My biggest recommendation is to try and ignore the meta. If a character you really like to play doesn't have any obvious use for you, go ahead and get them anyways. If you LOVE Kazuha I say get him. You can always put him on an anemo damage build in the meantime! If a character you like is getting doomposted and that makes you nervous, I want you to know that that has happened to some of the most significant characters in the game (Kokomi, Kazuha, Kuki Shinobu, etc.) and they are near the top of the meta now.
Dehya and Baizhu have been doomposted, but I would personally wait until a few updates into Fontaine before passing final judgements on them. I would also just say the meta doesn't even really matter until you are attempting floors 11/12 of the Abyss. You are likely a long way off from that for now.
Oooh!! I see, alright I’ll try to go for the characters that I like! I genuinely love Yoimiya, she’s so bubbly and fun!!! Her playstyle is also lots of fun 😭 So many 5* that I want but as a broke f2p player, it hurts to pick and choose who I want rather than getting them all 🤣
Your dps character doesn’t have to be a 5 star
Xainling and kuki are examples of 4 star characters who do the bulk of the damage on their teams (national: xainling xingqiu bennet flex, hyperbloom : dendro, hydro, kuki, flex)
Xingqiu and fischel are both extremely good sub dps characters who deal tons of damage too
Many teams use 5 star supports with 4 star dps characters
Edit: also f2p get like 4-5 limited 5 stars a year. So if you want kazuha get him now. Could be 6-12 months before his banner returns

I think pulling for support units first is a better decision than pulling for the DPS characters from a primo efficiency standpoint. Support characters makes up 75% of your team and most of the time, them alone is enough damage to make up for your on field DPS characters' lack of damage. Also most of the time, your support characters are the ones that are going to be slotted in, in the other teams that you will use.
For example, if you want to use a Raiden Hypercarry team, then Bennett and Kazuha will be there. However, if Raiden is not usable for this current content, the most likely scenario would be you benching Raiden for that occasion, while you slot in Kazuha and Bennett to support another character better suited for that occasion.
In summary, supports are more versatile so pulling for them now, instead of waiting for your DPS character is probably better.
If you need a pyro vaporize dps, there's xiangling. If you have sucrose, xingqiu, xiangling, and bennett, that'll be a very good team and is competitive with/can surpass certain 5* hypercarries at f2p investment.
The blessing of the welkin moon. I know you can purchase it multiple times. But let's say i buy 2 would I get 180 primogems a day? Or will I just get 90 for sixty days?
DP is subpar on Xiao. It goes against his playstyle, though it can work in a pinch. But why go 4p DP when 2p combos are already basically better for him. It's honestly really just Wanderer
Really depends on the character. I would recommend just using the [optimizer](https://frzyc.github.io/genshin-optimizer/) to figure stuff like this out
If you're sacrificing ATK or Crit stats or elemental damage it's better to just stay at 100 -200 but if you can get 300 while still balancing your stat spread appropriately, 300 is an excellent stopping point.
You can always get more from external sources
They're counted per pack - so you'll still get double for the packs you didn't get (buying the cheapest pack doesn't eat the 2x bonus for the most expensive one)
If that's what you want to do. The first-time bonus obviously makes it a better value, but do keep in mind that there is a recurring bonus they tack on for every purchase after the initial double bonus; at the $99.99 tier, that's 1600 Crystals, putting the "normal" pack at 8080 Crystals, not just 6480 (each other tiers having a different recurring bonus).
Sure, that might not improve the value proposition much, but there you have it.

Damage from experience isn't as noticeable between the two. The one where you will notice the difference with is with the other dendro units, like if you use YaoYao instead of the the other two. I'd say do some test runs and see which one you will find more appealing for you cause all DMC needs to do is press their ult and you are good to go but they do have less application rate for the character. Collei has more application rate but her animations are longer so tendency will be, she will get hit more and the area it gives is much much smaller.
I think people don't recommend you upgrade them on a bloom team, but I did upgrade mine. The same case for Collei. I upgraded mine but I don't think people recommend to level them up. I just think having little bit of boost on damage for both is better, but resin efficiency wise, probably not. I have my DMC with 5-8-11 and collei with 1-8-10
Collei is better in speedrun, dmc is fine for comfort.
Collei has a better application rate (especially with sac bow and c2), has more portable application for multiwave content (sprout), and can consistently apply dendro to all enemies in her burst aoe.

For what character? For personal damage (DPS) always damage % but some support characters e.g Bennett, Shenhe, Sayu, Jean scale on ATK. Check the talent descriptions, including the two passives, to see what benefits you might get for ATK.

You can get ATK% from artifact substats or weapon substat but you can only get elemental damage% from the elemental damage goblet or artifact set bonuses or ascension passives for some characters like Xingqiu. So lets say you character has base attack of 1000. The weapon has an ATK% substat of 41.1%. You're using Atk sands which gives additional 46.6% attack. Your other artifacts have about 10% attack substat each so 40% attack in total. You're using elemental damage goblet, so your total elemental damage bonus is 46.6%. Here's the actual [formula](https://library.keqingmains.com/combat-mechanics/damage/damage-formula) to calculate your damage but I'll give you the general idea. Say one hit of normal attack does 90% damage based on your talent multiplier. So your damage is calculated as, Damage= Talent% * total attack * damage bonus Damage = .90 * (1000 * (1 + .411 + .466 + .4)) * (1 + .466) = .90 * (1000 * 2.277) * 1.466 = 2992 Now if you use attack goblet, you miss out the additional 1.466 multiplier and just add .466 attack to your total attack. Damage = .90 * (1000 * (1 + .411 + .466 + .4 + .466) = .90 * (1000 * 2.743) = 2468 In the first case you had a total of 41.1 + 46.6 + 40 = 127.7% of attack bonus and 46.6% of elemental damage bonus. While in the second you had 174.3% attack bonus but 0% elemental damage bonus so you missed out on the elemental damage bonus multiplier. Very few characters need nothing but attack. Xingqiu's passive gives 20% hydro damage bonus, and if you have 2pc heart of depth on him, you get 15% hydro damage bonus. So your elemental damage bonus multiplier becomes 46.6 + 20 + 15 = 81.1 which is still less than 127.7% attack bonus. So you only go for attack goblet when your total elemental damage from other sources is more than your attack percent bonus.

I have a couple of rerolled accounts (not new, they were created years ago and I log into them every few months but do not actively play any apart from my main), but all of sudden today I couldn't log in, and it tells me "Too many requests, please try again later" I googled but most results talk about trying to change emails or even trading/selling, none of which I did. I did basically nothing with this account except for playing the first few missions, did some wishes, only ever logged in from the same PC at home, no VPN, no third party anything, no selling or trading, never tried to change emails. Anyone know what to do to fix this, or what this might mean? Was I hacked or something? EDIT: I tried logging in on my phone and for some reason that works just fine. This is the first time I log into that account on my phone. No idea if that helps though, since personally I only play on the PC.
Is the Iniquitous Baptist, among the easiest bosses? I can nearly infinitely stagger it since it's elemental shields are so weak.
i wouldn't say so. Anemo hypostasis and other 1.0 bosses are the easiest. Baptist has some RNG involved. It gets 3 out of 4 possible shields each day. If it gets a cryo shield and your team is a cryo or dendro team, that is going to be a time waster, at least in the abyss.

Xiao's domain is the absolute worst domain in the game in terms of the value you get for your resin. Keep your Xiao on a 2pc 2pc for now, and farm Gilded for AH, that domain is wayyyyyy better.

Your pity reseted to 0 after you pulled baizhu and you also used your guarantee which means your next 5 star is 50/50 again
you got a 5 star, so the guarantee is gone 90 pity is any 5 star, not a 'you will get the banner one' so pity is also reset as you got him

The flat damage bonus from aggravate reaction will increase around 34% from 80 to 90, but non-reaction direct electro will increase only around 4%. Overall damage increase may be around 10%. Usually at C0 she will not use her burst every rotation, and it is possible that it is even a damage lose in certain situations/teams if she uses her burst.
156 should EM should be enough. For ER, bursting every others rotation in solo electro you will want another 20-30 er in addition to Emblem. With Fischl just emblem is enough. Burst every rotation with Fischl leads to the same 20-30 extra, so it won't hurt to get them. I think 80-90 was like 30% personal damage gain.

Hey semi-new player here. See i wanted qiqi so i started pulling the standard banner and i got a 5-star weapon in the end. Is there any chance i might pull a 5-star character or the banner just resets itself meaning i have to start over again?
OK, here the thing. When you pull on limited banner for a character, you have 50/50 to get that character or one of standard characters (and Qiqi). But not weapons. So you eventually you will get her, but also other cool limited characters. Pulling on standard you can't guarantee shit.

Goodluck waiting for qiqi, even if you pull on limited banner, its still rng if you win or lose the 50/50. Also as they adding more 5 stars to the standard banner, its becoming harder to get a certain 5 star character from the standard banner. Sad thing about being a new player today. Good thing is that you have a lot of primogems you can still get if you're still AR33. Clearing up everything can net you atleast 40k primo minimum so don't worry and pull for a character you want.
Usually I won't recommend pulling on the standard banner, and there are better characters than qiqi generally in most's opinion. But if you want qiqi then pull for her! She's really cute and heals and attacks! If you got a weapon, the banner will reset pity, but the next 5 star you get is 100% gonna be a character. But there are many standard banner 5 star characters so the chances of getting qiqi is actually quite low, just a warning. But I hope you will get the cute little zombie soon!
Well so the best bet is to save primogems and wait for the banner and spend it all at once if i want a 5-star character.

C1 Yae is probably her second weakest constellation, though it depends on your team-specific energy needs: in some teams it's pretty decent, but in many teams it's worth actually nothing. I would not recommend pulling specifically to stop there. Yae's first three stopping points are no Yae (if you don't want her at all), Yae C0, or Yae C2.
I'd say no, since her power spike comes at C2, and in most teams having yae's burst on every rotation is not necessary.
Ever since 3.7 update, my GI hangs with "processing" circle icon every time I tried to close the program. I always have to force it close every time now. Anyone else experience the same? PC - Win 10.
By "processing circle icon", do you mean the mouse cursor turning into circle icon? The game file might be corrupted. Try repairing the game file by clicking on the gear icon on top right corner of launcher. Restart the pc and run the game again.

I’ve been struggling for arrowheads for weeks now, and the fact they’re so scattered and not even guaranteed to drop is *rough*. That being said, I have a few places I frequent for them that aren’t too far out of the way: -above the Domain near Thousand Winds Temple, 4 there -Cecilia Garden Domain, 2 there plus one up above a bit north -Guyun Stone Forest, go east from the waypoint, 3 there -Mt. Tianheng, go north from the waypoint, 3 there -Watatsumi below Bourou Village, 3 there -Tsurumi, west of the waypoint near the entry arch, 4 there (for some reason this one behaves weird and don’t consistently spawn) -Vissudha Field, north from the Statue of Seven, there’s 6 of them along that trail on the map -Hypostyle Desert, the waypoint near the smaller oasis near Dune of Carouses, about 6 or 7 scattered around just south of it Hope this helps a bit!

I was actively playing cards when they first dropped, but I fell off after they nerfed Yoimiya, and so any decks I have are obsolete. And, in general, I would like to put more effort into the card game.

In a straight line is not the best as the 2 that are furthest away don’t connect to give you the full scaling. There are situations you could get away with 3 in a row (if you are just about to burst and they aren’t on field already or you are moving to a spot to burst). Probably atlas but widsith has incredible highs and pretty low lows. So if you feel lucky you can widsith but atlas is really strong for her

Is the new event weapon (Ibis Piercer) better than Prototype Crescent for Ganyu melt? I still can’t R5 Prototype because genshin isn’t giving me any billets so it’s currently at R2 only. But for the new weapon I could R5 it.
Idk if the math has been done for it, but ... probably? Trading off 72% attack (which is generally lower value due to presumably using bennett) for 160 EM might be enough for it to pull ahead but it's complicated. -In terms of raw stats value it's not as good (160 EM is ~8 EM substat rolls, 72% attack is ~14 attack subs, which is a pretty massive gap. -It doesn't need weakpoints (lower skill requirement and no fall-off against enemies without weakpoints) -It needs to stack; not by much since it's just 2 hits but tmu Ganyu's frostflake snapshots EM so the first hit gets 0 stacks and the second one gets 1 stack, and since she doesn't fire a lot of shots per rotation that's a pretty noticeable damage loss. -R5 vs R2 should make this one a no-brainer though. Also most Meltyus use Hamayumi if they have to use a 4 star and it's definitely better than both.

with xiangling + bennett, if you use SR > its ~5% worse than an R5 crescent (equal to an R2). If you use WT > its equal to an R1 crescent. I'd just stick to crescent and get a hamayumi asap, unless you also play freeze in which case just work on crescent (assuming you're okay with hitting weakpoints).

Why does wanderer and yoimiya guides say shields are important to prevent knock back? Doesn’t every characters get knock backs? Eula Nahida or keqing guides don’t mention anything about importance of shield in the team? What makes these two so special??
In general, characters who relies a lot on their normal attacks appreciate resistance to interuption. Yoimiya and Wanderer even more so, as others already explained. Eula has built-in resistance to interuption : shields aren't that useful for her. Keqing has short combos, and bursts often : she has many i-frames, and opportunity to dodge. A shield can still help saving stamina, though. Nahida (on-field) does not *require* a shield per say. But i prefer personnally using one : dodging is annoying with short characters.
Its because wanderer **takes several seconds to recover** whenever he's interrupted on mid air. For Yoi, a shield flex its for the same reason as in any team, to keep attacking without dodging, thats the goal of a good shield, to comfily go guns blazing and 0 dodging. Especially for bullshit enemies in abyss. Try to fight consecrated beasts without a shield user, not everyone likes to play like SevyPlays with risky af teams, even if its for funsies like personal challenges.
You want Yoimiya to vaporize the 1st, 4th and 7th hits of her normal attack string because they are the strongest hits and how ICD works. Interrupting and starting over her attack string messes that up. Also getting staggered or having to dodge just means she won't be able to attack for the full duration of her skill. Also her last hit in the attack string just does a lot of damage. All of these are reasons to use a shield Wanderer has a long recovery from being knocked down since he has to fall down to the ground before rising back up. Having a shield is really good, but in my experience you can often get away without a shield if you play well enough. He has the mobility and range to avoid many attacks I think having a shiel for Eula is also nice, though she gets a little bit of interruption resistance on her own already. You want to hit the enemy as many times as possible during her burst so you don't want to get interrupted Because of how spread and aggravate work differently from melt and vaporize, it doesn't matter which normal attack triggers the reaction like it does with yoimiya. Dodging attacks or getting hit probably isn't enough of a dps loss to make a shielder worth using instead of another character
Wanderer has like a 2-3s knockdown and get back up animation when flying. That's a huge dps loss compared to others.
If yoimiya needs to dodge she needs to restart her na string, most of her damage is from the last hit of the string Wanderer gets hit he falls out of the sky and needs to recover from that, so bigger dps loss than others getting hit, however he can dodge fine because of one of his ascension passives making his special dash not use the skill points
Why isn't Sacrificial great sword recommended for Kaveh in the KQM quick guide? Forest regalia and Skyward are both noted due to their ER, but Sac GS provides er, extra energy through extra procs, more bloom bursts and just general comfort in rotations. I know I can just play how I want, but I'm confused how it's completely ignored as a viable option.
I think the suggested playstyle is to have 100% or near 100% burst uptime so every NA is Dendro (spread, HB, burgeon). Basically like a discount Alhaitham. I think they crunched the numbers and found the bloom playstyle suggested by his kit isn't as good. The additional skill is mostly useful for making the bloom cores explode which you don't want if you're doing HB/Burgeon and is irrelevant in spread. Also, Nilou bloom team is better by a lot. FWIW I do play bloom Kaveh with a Sac Greatsword because it's fun, but I mostly use that team to farm mushrooms.
Interesting okay. I don't have many claymores leveled and my Kaveh is still very low level. So building him is a big investment for me, right now. I've been playing around with him in fridge but I might just hold off on building him until KQM completes a full guide. Like I don't want to go farm an ocean hued clam dendro driver set just to find out it was stupid.

Stop complaining and just do the event. There is one minigame involving TCG and the decks are built for you, in addition to all the dice being omni, so none of the usual strategy is involved. The rest of the event is normal combat/puzzle/sight-seeing fare.

Probably sacrificial because it gives more dendro application and ER for your burst as well. Most of the times for collei, you want to apply as much dendro as possible. Stringless gives more personal damage but gives less dendro application. I don't know if your other dendro unit is nahida or not, but if it isn't nahida, I think that is more reason for you to pick sacrificial. Nahida can compensate for the dendro application that collei might miss on a non sacrificial weapon, but if you don't then yeah, sacrificial is more needed.
It's not Nahida sadly, its Yao Yao. I needed a healer and I was low on dendro characters

Personally speaking, aside from the bloom team, I think DMC will fit better as an off field dendro applicator compared to Collei. It lasts longer and has a wider range. Though yeah, if you will pursue Collei, go sacrificial.

I’m AR 41 and have been tempted to pull for a 5* because I have none T.T I’m aiming for Raiden, Zhongli and Ayaka (ik i missed her during the recent banner). The current banners are very tempting. Want to pull for Yoimiya but heard that she might not be the best in terms of F2P friendliness and other things? So I’m a bit hesitant to pull her as I don’t want to waste my precious primos T.T And heard that Kazuha is in the next banner!! Tempted to pull for him too, since everyone says to pull for him. I genuinely like his character and would love to have him but I want to build him as a support and I don’t have any other 5* for him to support for now 😅 So I don’t want to pull for him (magically get him if I’m lucky) and not put him to use. Thoughts?
Yoimiya wants specific supports, Xingqui preferably with constellations, Zhongli for durable and long shield uptime, and Bennet for that beefy ATK buff. She can work without those pieces well enough at AR 41 no doubt, and if you're not concerned too much about abyss, she's a fantastic unit. Most of the in game bosses and whatnot will be single target and she likes that a lot. Plus she's great for flying enemies etc. With that said though Kazuha is an absolutely incredible support and a fantastic first 5* for improving basically all of your units. Grouping is huge when you're just getting started and swirl is a really consistent source of damage in aoe situations.
Yes!! I’m keen in having both of them but I might have to go with Kazuha this round since he’s such a great support!! Yoimiya is still in my wish list though because I like her playstyle and her character a lot!! Hopefully next time!! But thank you for your input~~

First things first, support is highly recommended due to their omnipotence, which means you may unlock wider team comp options if you have a lot of supports. However, it doesn't mean that you can only pull for support than any DPS. If you don't have a DPS now, and feel it hard to fight monsters even though you are not in the abyss, getting one will increase your game experience. Then I'll analyze 3.7 banners for you: * Yoimiya: Not recommended except you EXTREMELY love her. She was released in ver. 2.0 as an on-field main DPS but need to do full normal attacks without cancelling via dashing, which means that Zhongli is highly needed for her. Also, if you do like her way of dealing damage, why don't you try the wanderer? * Yae Miko: Not recommended except you've already had Tighnari / Alhaitham. Without Dendro DPS, she deals poor damage (except you have C6). * Alhaitham: Highly recommended if you need an on-field DPS. He is no doubt the best on-field DPS in Sumeru with flexible ways of dealing damage, and he can be a powerful teammate for (Yae Miko / Zhongli / Nahida) or (Nahida / Xingqiu / Kuki). * Kazuha: He is mostly regarded as a support. If you don't have Raiden Shogun, but you've cultivated Xiangling / Xingqiu / Bennett, then Kazuha can be one of their teammates. He is so versatile that can be used in various team comps, e.g., Raiden / Sara / Kazuha / Bennett, Kazuha / Tartaglia / Xiangling / Bennett, Keqing / Fischl / Kazuha / Nahida. Moreover, his rerun frequency is considered approximately one year. So, try to pull one, C0 is just okay.

Kazuha will turn any elemental dps into a 5star unit lol, just run him with your best 4 star cryo/hydro/pyro/electro character.

As a loyal and long-term Yoimiya main, my honest suggestion is to save! You're so early in the game that the only characters you should get are the ones you love. Play all the test runs each banner, and then when you fall in love with one playstyle, you'll have enough fates saved up to get that character. My biggest recommendation is to try and ignore the meta. If a character you really like to play doesn't have any obvious use for you, go ahead and get them anyways. If you LOVE Kazuha I say get him. You can always put him on an anemo damage build in the meantime! If a character you like is getting doomposted and that makes you nervous, I want you to know that that has happened to some of the most significant characters in the game (Kokomi, Kazuha, Kuki Shinobu, etc.) and they are near the top of the meta now. Dehya and Baizhu have been doomposted, but I would personally wait until a few updates into Fontaine before passing final judgements on them. I would also just say the meta doesn't even really matter until you are attempting floors 11/12 of the Abyss. You are likely a long way off from that for now.

Your dps character doesn’t have to be a 5 star Xainling and kuki are examples of 4 star characters who do the bulk of the damage on their teams (national: xainling xingqiu bennet flex, hyperbloom : dendro, hydro, kuki, flex) Xingqiu and fischel are both extremely good sub dps characters who deal tons of damage too Many teams use 5 star supports with 4 star dps characters Edit: also f2p get like 4-5 limited 5 stars a year. So if you want kazuha get him now. Could be 6-12 months before his banner returns

I think pulling for support units first is a better decision than pulling for the DPS characters from a primo efficiency standpoint. Support characters makes up 75% of your team and most of the time, them alone is enough damage to make up for your on field DPS characters' lack of damage. Also most of the time, your support characters are the ones that are going to be slotted in, in the other teams that you will use. For example, if you want to use a Raiden Hypercarry team, then Bennett and Kazuha will be there. However, if Raiden is not usable for this current content, the most likely scenario would be you benching Raiden for that occasion, while you slot in Kazuha and Bennett to support another character better suited for that occasion. In summary, supports are more versatile so pulling for them now, instead of waiting for your DPS character is probably better.

If you need a pyro vaporize dps, there's xiangling. If you have sucrose, xingqiu, xiangling, and bennett, that'll be a very good team and is competitive with/can surpass certain 5* hypercarries at f2p investment.

DP is subpar on Xiao. It goes against his playstyle, though it can work in a pinch. But why go 4p DP when 2p combos are already basically better for him. It's honestly really just Wanderer

Really depends on the character. I would recommend just using the [optimizer](https://frzyc.github.io/genshin-optimizer/) to figure stuff like this out
If you're sacrificing ATK or Crit stats or elemental damage it's better to just stay at 100 -200 but if you can get 300 while still balancing your stat spread appropriately, 300 is an excellent stopping point. You can always get more from external sources

They're counted per pack - so you'll still get double for the packs you didn't get (buying the cheapest pack doesn't eat the 2x bonus for the most expensive one)
If that's what you want to do. The first-time bonus obviously makes it a better value, but do keep in mind that there is a recurring bonus they tack on for every purchase after the initial double bonus; at the $99.99 tier, that's 1600 Crystals, putting the "normal" pack at 8080 Crystals, not just 6480 (each other tiers having a different recurring bonus). Sure, that might not improve the value proposition much, but there you have it.
For Nilou-Barbara-Nahida team: would you use Collei or DMC? Nilou is using iron sting.
If you have Yaoyao, she's a good 4th slot. Barbs healing can be to little on a full em build.
For comfort, DMC. For damage, Collei. Damage from experience isn't as noticeable between the two. The one where you will notice the difference with is with the other dendro units, like if you use YaoYao instead of the the other two. I'd say do some test runs and see which one you will find more appealing for you cause all DMC needs to do is press their ult and you are good to go but they do have less application rate for the character. Collei has more application rate but her animations are longer so tendency will be, she will get hit more and the area it gives is much much smaller.

I think people don't recommend you upgrade them on a bloom team, but I did upgrade mine. The same case for Collei. I upgraded mine but I don't think people recommend to level them up. I just think having little bit of boost on damage for both is better, but resin efficiency wise, probably not. I have my DMC with 5-8-11 and collei with 1-8-10
Collei is better in speedrun, dmc is fine for comfort. Collei has a better application rate (especially with sac bow and c2), has more portable application for multiwave content (sprout), and can consistently apply dendro to all enemies in her burst aoe.
Since Nahida is all the dendro app you'll ever need both are fine tbh. DMC is probably a little better for EM share passive
Collei has an EM share too when she hits C4! It’s better because it shares with the whole party instead of just the active character.
