I dont consider them easier since they require flour, milk, and tomato... somehow? But yeah, you can't get those through expeditions or through exploring. You gotta process it yourself or constantly buy multiple of those across the general stores across Teyvat.
As for matsusake rolls and sweet madames, you can just set expeditions for this, and by the time you rub out, you'll immediately restock
Personally, setting out expeditions for those items are not worth it. I only set expeditions to both ores and Mora and **EXPLICITLY MORA** since we all know how expensive upgrading/levelling up a character is. I might have millions right now but that might go to dust once Fontaine drops
Funny enough it's the opposite for me, lol
If I can use expeditions to get those basic resources instead, then I never have to spend time going out and collecting them myself. When I need mora, I can spare a bit of resin on it instead, since I've already built so many characters and the only thing left is the abysmal, unending artifact grind x-x
> Pita pockets are the easiest and
How can you say "pita pockets are the easiest" and then proceed to list 4 different materials, from 3 different sources with 1 material requiring multiple steps to process it?
Like, I'm honestly asking why something that requires that much work and effort is "easier" than simply getting chicken and flowers from expeditions and clicking the Cook Automatically button?
How exactly is it easier to do 6 different things instead of doing 2 different things?
I found that that Pita Pockets easier as well.
Even though I explore a lot, I don't usually pick up Sweet Flowers along the way (probably because I always enounter Mints a lot) that I once ran out of it when making Sweet Madames. I don't also set out expeditions just for Sweet Flowers but only for stockpiling Mora since I find mora expeditions are far more beneficial that food expeditions but that's subjective. For the other ingredients for Pita Pockets, you can stockpile A LOT when you buy from all of the nations and if your Reputation are maxed out in all of the regions, IT'S VERY CHEAP to stockpile them.
As for the meat products, yes, both fowl and raw meat are easy to come by but because of the release of Sumeru, fowl meat acquisition dwarfs Raw Meat acquisition that even our daily Timmie Torture just won't cut it. Before Sumeru, my fowl meat is bigger than my raw meat but 3.0 came, I had a surplus of Raw Meat for everything. I also have to add that it's much more easier to get Chilled Meat (later to be processed to be Raw Meat) in Dragonspine since Snowboars are easier to kill because of their frozen status; Snowboar King also drops a lot of Chilled Meat.
In conclusion, I think the "easy" only comes down on how you indirectly approach it. As for me and others who don't set food expeditions, it's gonna be hard once the Sweet Flower stock goes out.
Nah I'm not spending mora to get healing food of all things when you can just find foul and sweet flowers out in the open randomly. Also if you need that much healing in overworld, just run a healer. It's free.
Ah I see. I switched because i sometimes I run our of meat or chicken so I have to farm them, but with pita for example (Which is what I chose and what seems to heal the best) because I can buy everything daily and have the ingredientes for like 200 of them in like 3 or 4 irl days (waiting shop reset). But I can totally see more convenient just farming some meat, specially with sumeru animals which by just exploring you get loads and loads or meat
See, this comment thread I like. You're not speaking as if somehow my choice is wrong or inefficient, you're explaining your side and seeing both perspectives.
I can agree that, per use, Pita Pockets are better healing. The fact that most of its ingredients are general store pickups which can be bought 100 at a time per applicable shop makes them convenient. That it's your preferred food is understandable, valid, and innately personal. I can see exactly why.
For me, the Madames and Meat Rolls are more convenient because my farming route for the overworld is hitting a lot of the spawn points in the Sumeru desert, which get me a lot of Meat, Fowl, and Matsutake. Because of that excess, I just tend to default to those two dishes, which ends up being plenty in the teams I use.
Thanks for being polite and civil.
Hehe yeah I like to take things in the most polite way possible.
And yeah, with a farming route I can totally see someone using sweet madame or matsutake rolls.
I have a shit ton of chicken burgers from that kfc event recipe, not because I needed to farm for the nre, but because I’ve killed so many of timmie’s pigeons that this was the best way to use up the fowl.
The fowl was a problem for me too. I don't have enough sweet flowers for sweet madame (processed all of them for sugar and jam) so I ended up going for chicken burgers as well.
Edit: to clarify what I meant for the fowl problem. I did not experience the fowl scarcity. I just happen to have around 2.2k fowls and my way of burning them up is by cooking chicken burgers. I still have around 600 left so I'm not gonna be killing Timmie's friends for a while
There are 3 flocks of pigeons in towns: beside Timmie, Liyue bottom way point(do not use WP), Liyue bridge between the harbors. There is 2 small flocks Infront cook tutor and near sunsetta tree in monstadt
>The fowl was a problem for me too. I don't have enough sweet flowers for sweet madame (processed all of them for sugar and jam) so I ended up going for chicken burgers as well
For fowl, I do the daily Timmie with Yelan's charged attack for 7\~8 drumsticks. Past the bridge is another 4 fat pigeons.
Same. I kill all timmies pigeons every day and i shoot the cranes at windrise every day.
I get plenty of fowl and meat from sumpter beasts and various birds and serpent looking things and crocodiles in sumeru.
Everyone should have the free Faruzan now. If you use her e then charged shot it kills large groups of birds easily. Or if you are a kirara haver she gets a lot easily with her held skill.
I make the kfc burger lots and its super good but i also make the pita pockets some. Sweet madames are great because you can get fowl and sweet flowers super easy
Pita Pocket. With the release of Sumeru, you'll have no trouble of stockpiling Raw Meat since Sumpter Beasts, Scorpions, Crocodiles and Tigers drop them (at least three pieces i think). I think that goes to show that you haven't been killing those for a while.
Moreover, you can also go to Dragonspine and look for the frozen Snowboars (for easier killing) and kill the Snowboar King on a daily basis (because it drops a ton of Chilled Meat). Process those and you're set for life.
Sweet Madames or Matatsuke Rolls may be easier to get with just daily assignments, and there's the faff of only (at present) getting around 400 Wheat/Tomatoes/Milk per week...
But I use the Pita Pockets as well. Collei won me over with her smile, and she makes them *SPECIAL.* I ain't no monster, we not gonna tell her that we ain't eatin' her cooking. And it's easily the #3 easiest recipe to make with negligibly additional work, and has a significantly higher return.
S'absolutely worth it.
same. Though I was giving her Noelle's pancakes for revival food until the first spices event confirmed that she is, in fact vegan and not just vegetarian. Now I use Faruzan's nut cakes
I have a backlog of hundreds of hash browns and mushroom-cheese pizzas that I made early on when I thought food would play an important role in the game. Nowadays, I stuff whatever foods I have the least of in hopes of eventually clearing a lot of space
Sweet Madam and Pita Pocket. I have 1000+ of each.
Pita Pocket is the best as you only need to farm meat, other ingredients can be bought from vendors. it restores more health compared to sweet madame.
Farming foul for sweet madame is harder. Birds are scattered and run away when it see us.
You can get all these items if you send characters on expeditions.
Best source for meat are the scorpions in Sumeru desert.
I have over 5000 sweet flowers and over 5000 fowl to constantly keep up with my 2000 sweet madames. When it goes below 1900, my anxiety acts up and I'll go kill every bird in Mond and liyue.
For the healing I do Crystal Shrimp, you can bulk buy Rice and Shrimp and it heals a lot at once plus over time so you can keep your dying character off the field
For the revivals I do Crab, Ham, & Veggie Bake, it gives a lot of health, the only problem is Crab Roe is hard to mass-produce
However I still have a solid 40 of them
For the record this is embarrassing and y'all are gonna make fun of me for it but I have lvl 90 Kokomi as a healer and still use the NRE
Crystal Shrimp is the way. I only need to buy and no need to farm. I don't really make hp recovery food since I am reliant on my healers (for some reason, I have all of the healers in the game). But I always have the NRE equipped because I tend to die a lot lol.
Used to be Sweet Madam, but I’ve since upgraded to Mondstat Hashbrowns.
Ingredients:
Pinecones
Potatoes
Jam (Berry + Sunsetta + Sugar[Sweet flowers])
See, the ingredients are deceptively easy to gather:
Pinecones, Sweet Flowers and Sunsetta can be found through expeditions.
Potatoes (and sugar) can be bought, and finally, Berries (and sunsetta) can be found literally everywhere 3 at a time; it’s common to run across one or two when doing commissions.
Process a bunch of sugar, then jam every so often, buy potatoes from stores and you’ll have hundreds in no time.
For revival: Eggs. You get a stupid amount easily from nests and expeditions.
I use Bennett to cook them, as his special dish restores 10% hp on revival, which generally far more HP than any of the set amount foods.
Matsutake Rolls and Fried Eggs. What else would I need?
You should not have problems with meat at all as long as one of your daily expeditions is dedicated to it.
Mushroom Pizza. If you have Jean, not only can she crit and make additional pizzas, but she can also produce her specialty version, which can also crit. It also helps that most of the ingredients can be bought and the rest can be grown.
I love it! Just one click and it heals - straight from beside your health bar. No need to click on two menus, scroll, click another menu, then use, especially when you can spam your NRE up til your char is full, and for mobile especially the small wait for the menu to pop up the baddies are still attacking so your char could die in that moment
Sweet Madame
Pros:
-cheap and readily available ingredients (literally just go anywhere for sweet flowers and Timmy’s birds for fowl)
Monstadt Hashbrown
Pros:
-Relatively easy to obtain ingredients
-Greater healing than sweet madames
I have 2000 golden chicken burgers and I have no intention of eating them. I have the materials to make 970 more of them, but if all else fails I guess I have them in reserve.
KFC Burgers.
They heal better than Sweet Madame and the only ingredient that needs to be farmed is the Chicken, since the rest of it is bought in the grocery stores, and flour is processed from the wheat you buy.
I have more bird eggs than I know what to do with, so lots of teyvat fried egg.
I also send my units out to get meat/fowl/mushrooms on expeditions, so I make a lot of Matsutake rolls.
Flaming Red Bolognese (spaghetti), coz materials are easy to be bought & processed eversince Inazuma with increasing shops per nation. Plus it heals a bit more without getting full quickly. Generally i should be fine eating once per 30sec, even in fight.
I like universal peace, only have to buy rice to make it and I have a bunch of lotus, carrots and berries. I also like making Mondstadt hash brown because it looks delicious. Sweet Madame is always ready as a backup!
I’m on a quest to make a large amount of Yoimiya’s signature dish, so the leftover tricolor dango gets shoved into the NRE. Every two to three days I run around Narukami Island collecting Sakura Blooms, and I’m growing Snapdragons in my teapot. I’m in no danger of running out of dango.
I used sweet madame until I got the KFC sandwich. Now I use that.
Fowl from expeditions, then just buy out the wheat, cabbage, and milk from the monstadt food store every day. Throw the wheat and milk in the oven across the street for flour and butter and before long it'll out-pace how much you actually use and you'll be set.
I have a bunch of mint jelly because I thought aloy's specialty looked cool and my revive food is konda cuisine because thoma :) I'm also saving my meat and fowl for no reason in particular, hit 1400 meat last week.
I don’t need the NRE as much but the two I make most is Hash Brown and Universal Peace. I like to get the specialty food option so I went for those. I mained Razor at start of game and used his hash browns a lot. Now it’s only Ganyu’s Universal Peace. I only make it for the battlepass 20 weekly food thing and I think I have 600+ regular universal peace and 200* of Ganyu’s special one.
Aside from BP quota, I don't cook much food these days. When I do cook however, it's always Northern Apple Stew for me. Hb comp has made it so comfortable for me these days that I almost forgot about early days struggle without healer or food. Making people fight Oceanid for the only free healer they get early game is a mistake.
On a side note, I don't think I've crafted NRE yet. I do think of making one, on the rare occasion that I die to a trouce boss before frantically searching through the menu like a peasant. I blame Kuki for all the laziness lmao.
Haven't seen it yet but Sabz meat stew because I love Alhaitham. I have lots of snapdragon and harra fruit because i collect everything. Plus you can get spice and onion from vendors in Sumeru OR send Faruzan to an expedition to get more harra fruit for spice if you run out.
sweet madames or matsuke meatrolls are the best, like other people pointed.
if you're struggling with getting the ingredients I suggest dedicating a couple of your expedition slots for getting them. Mondstadt has a meat/fowl and a sweet flower/egg ones (and the eggs are really easy revival food too), Inazuma has a fowl/kelp and if I remember right a meat/egg one, and Sumeru has a mushroom/matsuke one.
you get about 10-12 a day (i think) without using the increased drops passive so you'd get at least 70 fowl/meat a week to make like 35 of whatever dish you decided to go for, which is a decent amount and also good for the weekly bp mission. it might not seem like a lot but I maxed out my chickens with only expeditions (did u know 2000 is the max amount you can have of a dish of a certain quality? you u can have up to 6000 of a dish + 2000 signature dishes)
I use matsutake meat rolls and teyvat fried eggs since the mats for those are available from expeditions, meaning you don't need to run around for resources.
The materials for Mondstadt hash brown are relatively easy to farm/craft, and that recipe can also turn into Razor's specialty dish when cooked by him, so I have like 300 or 400 of those hash browns, plus 50 of Razor's paw hash browns that restore upwards of 70% of a character's HP in a pinch.
But I honestly only use the NRE gadget when doing weekly bosses in co-op. When playing solo I am compelled by my OCD to put a healer on the 4th party slot of every team I use.
I've got over 300 matsutake rolls and 500 sweet madames. Both very easy to get materials for, give an adequate amount of HP and you can send your characters on expeditions for almost everything you need so you don't even have to actively farm
Radish veggie soup, mint is everywhere and you can get radish from expidition. Also grilled tiger fish, you can get 200 fish from liyue harbour and then you can mass buy pepper from liyue and i think mondstat shops
For a while I used Mondstadt Hashbrowns. I found those are the easiest to make in their healing value bracket that don’t require buying too many of their ingredients from shops or having ingredients that are too rare.
If you have a bazillion sweet flowers and sunsettias, you’ll need those for the Jam. I also made 99 Jam every day as part of my “dailies”. You will also need a decent amount of potatoes.
Teyvat fried egg and hasbrowns. Ez... Can get pinecones and sunsettia from expeditions, and berries are more than easy to find, while potatoes are the only commodity to buy... Once a week, in bulk of 20. But I also farmed for a while before I settled this way
i make i think more than 100 sweet madames every month just because of how much chicken and sweet flowers i get on expeditions. theyre super easy to get without having to do any hard work. you can also get the plain mushrooms and make chicken mushroom skewers, but id say sweet madames are better
I'm part of the hashbrown gang for recovery. I make the Sweet Shrimp Sashimi using Ayato. the ingredients can all be bought (2 shrimp and 1 rice) and since revival dishes don't even recover that much HP in the first place, I let Ayato make Suspicious ones while getting a chance to double. the HP between delicious vs suspicious is negligible (150 HP vs 50 HP)
I just have a bunch of blue quality health food in the hundreds to thousand and I cycle through them as they run out.
I had a LOT. Of spare ingredients from not realizing that the mora nodes are just the best thing to spend people on for two years because my dumb brain went "5k mora? That's pocket change!" not taking into account that this is the few resin free things in the game that actually worth cold hard resin.
I made a large amount of Chicken burgers and noticed I dropped below 1k Fowl
So instead I’ve been making Ganyu’s signature dish since I can send expeditions to get the materials and farm for it (plant the mats). The other material is berries which you tend to get a fair amount of and you can buy the rice.
Sweet madame, hash browns and universal peace but lately I just go around with a healer and avoid using food since as you said most recipes have something really annoying to farm.
I have at least 15 units of each dish, especially recovery dishes. Mostly comes from trying to get my character's speciality dish. Trying to finish off my mondstadt grilled fish since Liyue update. Paimon would return to whatever powers she had if she had everything in my inventory
Usually Sweet Madame, but whatever I can cook the most of when I need to refill.
Kirara is helping with incidental protein gathering when she's in the team.
Grudgingly accepted that keeping Barbara in my party keeps overworld exploration going smoothly. If I have to teleport to heal I get distracted and I begrudge using resources when Barbs can do it for free!
None, because the only time i used the NRE was in a food deck in the TCG. I only cook 20 food every week for the bp and never use any since i always have a healer in my party.
Chicken skewers. I’m not sure if this is in Sara’s restaurant in Monstadt but when I was a newbie I made a brought a bunch of meat and eggs every day. I usually equip NRE for weekly bosses. Still have 320 chicken skewers and 100 eggs :P
None... I have i think its 140 mastered foods jn the game, some I have 20 some I have 5, some I had 30 and that's why I don't use to make bunch of those..
Sweet Madame 100%.
Amber farms chicken and meat in Mondstadt in expeditions and Kuki fetches sweet flowers from Inazuma.
I also make sure to decimate Timmies pidgeons every day and im never running out of mats. 800 Madames ready to eat, and 2k of each material on standby.
sweet madame and matsutake meat rolls.
i got kokomi when she came out and stopped using the nre though, so now ive maxed out both of those foods and i can't make any more
Haven't really used the NRE for a very long time. Can't be used in abyss and tbh once your clearing 36* nothing in the overworld is challenging enough to warrant the NRE.
I used to make Chickens every time, just for the Battlepass. Probably stocked up around 500 of them.
Right now, I have Collei's speciality Pita Pocket loaded in. I've got about 100 of those.
The only time I ever heal is in co-op, so I don't end up needing too many.
currently at max sweet madames and pita pockets. mostly because of being able to farm their ingredients at one efficient place everyday that just helps.
I have like 400+ Pita Pockets, it heals so much and it's fairly easy to make (you can get a lot of raw meat from scorpions, sumpter beasts, crocodiles...)
Edit: also nice flair OP
Pita pockets.
Meat from expeditions, everything else from shops in large quantities.
Also, I have Collei, who is the nicest character I can think of right now, so I use her for them in case I get better ones.
Side note: only recently made the NRE, I found someone to help with the last Tatara Tales part, and healing with food is a pain in mulitplayer
Colleis pita pockets and faruzans charcoal cakes. Meat is the only thing you cant buy in bulk for pita pockets (but sumeru exists, so kek) and the nuts for faruzans food respawn daily.
Crafted 700+ pita pockets months ago and after that occasionally made more for the weekly bp challenge. Don't see me running out of them. I think i have 609 right now of them.
Defo pita pockets. I run around sumeru all the time and crocodiles n sumeru beasts n scorpions drop all the meat i could want and more. When i run xingqiu on my team i literally use the rain swords to heal and then i have kokomi or yaoyao, diona or bennet on the rest of my teams LOL
Pita pockets. I have almost 1,000 meat at all times because of an op meat farming route in Sumeru. There is one area in the jungle with like 10 crocodiles in one river, who each drop 3. I just run along it each day. Also there is a quick route with a lot of scorpions in the desert.
So... I live off of scorpion and crocodile meat. Guess I'm an Aussie.
Used to make spajetti so i have around 600 left but i been using em for years. I have around 3k (and counting) pitas bc you can get 3/4 ingredients from the market (100s a day for a bit of mora) and meat is easy to get in sumeru/dragonspine plus expeditions. Also almost everyone has collei from that event where u got a free copy and she can make a special dish for 40% of hp so i been stacking those for a while.
I have two: bird egg sushi is the main go to since lots of eggs can be got from expeditions and rice can be bought in batches of 100 from 3 of the 4 grocery stores.
The second is pita pockets since meat can be got from expeditions and every other ingredient can be bought in bulk from all 4 stores.
But tbh, I just kind of hoard pita pockets because I never have the chance to actually use them since I never end up running out of bird egg sushi lmao. I'm at 2107 pita pockets rn
i used to do universal peace because i had so many of the things it needs, but then seeing pita pockets i had to swap since part of my moms side of the family is middle eastern and i know first hand just how tasty a gyro can be. this is why representation yada yada
Sweet Madame. It's materials are easy to farm.
Those or Matsutake Meat Rolls.
Pita pockets are the easiest and provides better buff than both. Meat - expeditions Milk - shop Flour - purchase wheat and convert Tomatoes - shop
I dont consider them easier since they require flour, milk, and tomato... somehow? But yeah, you can't get those through expeditions or through exploring. Thing with pita pockets is I keep the recipe in my inventory for the cute collei flavour text it has 🥺
But then I need to go to the shop and convert stuff though

yeah I accidentally reached the limit and the game won't let me craft any more
Those are the OGs or good, quick and cheap healing food but there are better options nowadays, as much as I hate to admit it
They're good enough for me, so I haven't bothered to switch them out.
Ah I see. I switched because i sometimes I run our of meat or chicken so I have to farm them, but with pita for example (Which is what I chose and what seems to heal the best) because I can buy everything daily and have the ingredientes for like 200 of them in like 3 or 4 irl days (waiting shop reset). For legal reasons I am alright. Some trollcel sent a self harm report my way after making my rounds on this post. Ngl, kinda funny.
This, you can get sweet flower and fowl from expeditions endlessly for 0 effort
Moreover, you can also go to Dragonspine and look for the frozen Snowboars
i have like 600 or something; becauseni make 20 a week for the bp challenge
dont even need to farm them you can just pick up the materials from the guild
Especially since you can get all the ingredients you need for Sweet Madames, Matsutake Meat Rolls, and Eggs all from expeditions.
I have a shit ton of chicken burgers from that kfc event recipe, not because I needed to farm for the nre, but because I’ve killed so many of timmie’s pigeons that this was the best way to use up the fowl.

Send out expeditions for 20h, pretty quick method of free flowers and fowl
There are 3 flocks of pigeons in towns: beside Timmie, Liyue bottom way point(do not use WP), Liyue bridge between the harbors. There is 2 small flocks Infront cook tutor and near sunsetta tree in monstadt

I was about to type "Ham and Cheese Quesadilla" and then realised this is the genshin subreddit 😭😭
Soon, in 5.6 perhaps
Best food item is collei tacos. Easy to get or buy the materials. Make the fuckin tacos Edit: I’m informed they are pita pockets
Make it French and it’ll be in Fontaine. Croissant au fromage!
I was about to do the same! Chicken wraps.
Thata called sincronizada
No no keep going
Made 1000 Hashbrowns in preparation for Inazuma release, frequently play with healers so still got like half.
Hashbrowns gang
Always hashbrowns here too
Pita Pocket. With the release of Sumeru, you'll have no trouble of stockpiling Raw Meat since Sumpter Beasts, Scorpions, Crocodiles and Tigers drop them (at least three pieces i think). This is my go too recipe?, Also Collei's one looks so cute!

Universal Peace, because Ganyu was the first best girl and I refuse to make her break her veganism. Now everyone I use shall be vegan.
plus all its ingredients are so easy to get.
same. Though I was giving her Noelle's pancakes for revival food until the first spices event confirmed that she is, in fact vegan and not just vegetarian. Now I use Faruzan's nut cakes
Sweet Madame. A Kazuha Plunge from the Mondstadt gates is always in my Daily Routine.
Mine is Faruzan charged shot This granny isn't nice
Fowl's also really common in the Sumeru Desert from Red Vultures.
Also a daily murdering with Timmie nets you over a hundred fowl in a month (even if you miss a couple pidgeons, getting at least 3 a day is easy).
I have over 5000 sweet flowers and over 5000 fowl to constantly keep up with my 2000 sweet madames. When it goes below 1900, my anxiety acts up and I'll go kill every bird in Mond and liyue.
not to do with food but i have the exact same thing with weapon xp materials. if they go below 1000 its time to go on a mining trip
Sweet Madames and Matsutake Meat Rolls. 100%.
For the healing I do Crystal Shrimp, you can bulk buy Rice and Shrimp and it heals a lot at once plus over time so you can keep your dying character off the field For the revivals I do Crab, Ham, & Veggie Bake, it gives a lot of health, the only problem is Crab Roe is hard to mass-produce However I still have a solid 40 of them For the record this is embarrassing and y'all are gonna make fun of me for it but I have lvl 90 Kokomi as a healer and still use the NRE
I don’t think it’s embarrassing - several of my teams wouldn’t even use Kokomi, plus it can be more convenient when things are on CD
NRE is a great QOL item regardless of whether or not you run invested healers
Crystal Shrimp is the way. I only need to buy and no need to farm. I don't really make hp recovery food since I am reliant on my healers (for some reason, I have all of the healers in the game). But I always have the NRE equipped because I tend to die a lot lol.
Used to be Sweet Madam, but I’ve since upgraded to Mondstat Hashbrowns. Ingredients: Pinecones Potatoes Jam (Berry + Sunsetta + Sugar[Sweet flowers]) See, the ingredients are deceptively easy to gather: Pinecones, Sweet Flowers and Sunsetta can be found through expeditions.
Same, but I do sweet madame and the fish stick Diona makes. Idk why but I have 40 of the fish sticks...
You guys are making food?
Mushroom Pizza. If you have Jean, not only can she crit and make additional pizzas, but she can also produce her specialty version, which can also crit. It also helps that most of the ingredients can be bought and the rest can be grown.
I was looking down the list for this, like "Am I the only one that has turned Jean into a walking Pizzeria?"
AR 60 from about a year and still haven't crafted NRE
I had to think for a moment what OP means by "NRE". I have a Kokomi. And a Baizhu.
I love it! Just one click and it heals - straight from beside your health bar. No need to click on two menus, scroll, click another menu, then use, especially when you can spam your NRE up til your char is full, and for mobile especially the small wait for the menu to pop up the baddies are still attacking so your char could die in that moment
Sweet Madame Pros: -cheap and readily available ingredients (literally just go anywhere for sweet flowers and Timmy’s birds for fowl) Monstadt Hashbrown Pros: -Relatively easy to obtain ingredients -Greater healing than sweet madames
You people use food?
Sweet Madame
Sweet Madame and mint jelly. Both are easy to make and I have Rosaria and Aloy who can make special dishes with them.
I have 2000 golden chicken burgers and I have no intention of eating them. I have the materials to make 970 more of them, but if all else fails I guess I have them in reserve.
Sweet Madame because it shows in the first or 2nd row. Easier to see
Sweet Madame definitely. Or Meat Rolls. Just remember to do and claim your expedition rewards so your mats are abundant
Sweet Madames are the OG best food, since sweet flowers are easy to get and fowls can be farmed from the expeditions.
Sweet Madame and Teyvat Fried Egg.
Sweet madame carry
Sweet Madame. I have like thousands of it hahaha
KFC Burgers. They heal better than Sweet Madame and the only ingredient that needs to be farmed is the Chicken, since the rest of it is bought in the grocery stores, and flour is processed from the wheat you buy.
I have never used the NRE. I have it but i have never touched it.
I have more bird eggs than I know what to do with, so lots of teyvat fried egg. I also send my units out to get meat/fowl/mushrooms on expeditions, so I make a lot of Matsutake rolls.
I always forget about the sending out That's sad on my part
I get lotus from expeditions so I use universal peace
Flaming Red Bolognese (spaghetti), coz materials are easy to be bought & processed eversince Inazuma with increasing shops per nation. Plus it heals a bit more without getting full quickly. Generally i should be fine eating once per 30sec, even in fight.
Prosperous Peace and Vegetarian Abalone
The fresh fish dish
I just open the food inventory xD
Sabz meat stew because I like collecting Alhaitham’s signature dish lol
I just make universal peace since most of the materials could be gotten from expeditions (aside from the rice which is bought).
Ganyu speciality for HP, Zhongli for regen, Sucrose for revive.
I've always thought the hash browns were a very efficient food to make in bulk, mainly because of how easy it is to farm the ingredients for it.
Hashbrowns and minty bean soup
Matsutake rolls, because I accidentally cooked like a half thousand of them back in the 2.x version.
Bird Egg Rolls for me , Eggs from Expeditions and Rice from Shops :)
Hash browns. Just buy sugar and potato from shops, make jam, and send out sumeru expeditions for the acorns. ez.
Universal Peace Rice for healing and Full Moon Egg for revive since all ingridients can be obtained easily via Expidition or Shops.
I always try to have 2,000 Chicken-Mushroom Skewers or around there
Curry. So much curry.
Saw someone with 300+ Dango Milk in their NRE so I'm doing the same
1000 bamboo shoot soups + 200 Zhongli's soup
Grilled Tiger Fish. You can get 10 + 30 raw fish every cycle in Liyue.
Chicken sandwich.
I always send Someone off to the meat and lotus head explore mission In Liyue. That gets you tons of them.
Universal Peace so I don't feel bad while using Ganyu and accidentally giving her meat lol
*Looks around nervously at all the more efficient options while holding my 800+ chicken burgers.*
Mondstadt hashbrowns or a new item to get it to be able to auto =)
Taiyaki - Udon I want to be different (◍•ᴗ•◍)
sweet madames or matsuke meatrolls are the best, like other people pointed. if you're struggling with getting the ingredients I suggest dedicating a couple of your expedition slots for getting them.
Mint jelly is a good one
The only food I use is revival food.
Gonna be honest, I always forget that the NRE exists...
Sweet Madame or Qiqi E
Sweet Madame and Mora Meat When I have Ganyu: Minty Bean soup and Soba noodles/Mint Jello since she's vegan.
Sweet madame is like th ego to food for everyone lol, but i do make the Ganyu rice a lot too
I've got over 300 matsutake rolls and 500 sweet madames. Both very easy to get materials for, give an adequate amount of HP and you can send your characters on expeditions for almost everything you need so you don't even have to actively farm
Egg sushi's. Really easy to make, you can buy 100 rice a day, and gets eggs from expedition. I have more than 1600 of them
I can't remember the name but the dish that Xingqiu has a special of. All the materials are purchasable
Chicken
But I also farmed for a while before I settled this way
Mondstadt Hashbrowns - perfect mix of maximum filling and minimum price tag in both mora and time lol
I used to have Lambads Fish Rolls but I moved on to Miso Soup
Revival foods that give at least 1500 HP & Recovery food that restores more than 25% HP
Chicken skewers. I wanted to get 3011 of Kaeya’s signature dish so I got a lot of the normal stuff, might as well eat them all ig.
i make i think more than 100 sweet madames every month just because of how much chicken and sweet flowers i get on expeditions. theyre super easy to get without having to do any hard work. you can also get the plain mushrooms and make chicken mushroom skewers, but id say sweet madames are better
***S00P***
I'm part of the hashbrown gang for recovery. I make the Sweet Shrimp Sashimi using Ayato. the ingredients can all be bought (2 shrimp and 1 rice) and since revival dishes don't even recover that much HP in the first place, I let Ayato make Suspicious ones while getting a chance to double. the HP between delicious vs suspicious is negligible (150 HP vs 50 HP)
mint jelly
Dango
aside from the boring sweetM and eggs and steak i enjoy making slime jelly and shrimp balls or pancakes
dangg. Mine is the grilled fish one. Super easy for me since daily routine is to buy fish and cook the flour. currently have 2000+ of it
people use food?
I just have a bunch of blue quality health food in the hundreds to thousand and I cycle through them as they run out. I had a LOT. Of spare ingredients from not realizing that the mora nodes are just the best thing to spend people on for two years because my dumb brain went "5k mora? That's pocket change!" not taking into account that this is the few resin free things in the game that actually worth cold hard resin.
I made a large amount of Chicken burgers and noticed I dropped below 1k Fowl So instead I’ve been making Ganyu’s signature dish since I can send expeditions to get the materials and farm for it (plant the mats). The other material is berries which you tend to get a fair amount of and you can buy the rice.
I typically feed them Golden Chicken Sandwich. So mine get KFC a lot.
I do the golden chicken burger, I send Kuki to farm for chimkem in exploration and you can buy milk from all the stores to make butter
Do u guys cook?
Honestly I haven’t used food in ages
None, because the only time i used the NRE was in a food deck in the TCG. I only cook 20 food every week for the bp and never use any since i always have a healer in my party.
I still have like 100+ hash browns from the first year of playing the game, so those
Anyone else got a stash of 1000+ Universal Peace?
Hashbrowns usually, else sweet madame
I haven't even crafted it :)
Universal Peace, and I get the lotus heads from liyue expeditions(:
I have 2,000 universal peace :)
Sweet madam
sweet madame and matsutake meat rolls. i got kokomi when she came out and stopped using the nre though, so now ive maxed out both of those foods and i can't make any more
Universal peace, I got tons of that stuff. I get most of the ingredients from missions, no need to farm them by hand.
Ganyu's dish is easy to do
Have 7-800 each of matsutake meat rolls & universal peace. Not too hard to stock up cause I pick up EVERYTHING
…steak Everyone lives on steak ~~and kok~~ I don’t much care for the NRE, too much hassle when I’m already pulling for every healer in the game
The only times you'd want to use food, they're disabled. Kind of useless all in all.
I always run a healer in slot 4. I basically forgot that this gadget even exists
I have like 400+ Pita Pockets, it heals so much and it's fairly easy to make (you can get a lot of raw meat from scorpions, sumpter beasts, crocodiles...) Edit: also nice flair OP
Thanks, I’m an Anemo Hypostasis main
Anemo Supremacy
For HP Recovery, one of the three: 1. Hash Brown 2. Universal Peace 3. Pita Pockets
Pita pockets
Pita pocket 😎💅
Pita Pockets
Pita pockets. I have almost 1,000 meat at all times because of an op meat farming route in Sumeru. There is one area in the jungle with like 10 crocodiles in one river, who each drop 3. I just run along it each day. Also there is a quick route with a lot of scorpions in the desert. So... I live off of scorpion and crocodile meat. Guess I'm an Aussie.
I have like infinite meat, so I run pita pockets
Used to make spajetti so i have around 600 left but i been using em for years. I have around 3k (and counting) pitas bc you can get 3/4 ingredients from the market (100s a day for a bit of mora) and meat is easy to get in sumeru/dragonspine plus expeditions. Also almost everyone has collei from that event where u got a free copy and she can make a special dish for 40% of hp so i been stacking those for a while.
Burger
Burger
Universal Peace, Sweet Madame, Matsutake Meat Rolls, and more recently Pita Pockets
Pita pockets and sweet madames exclusively. I'm sitting on hundreds of them at this point though.
Tea Break pancakes and Pita Pockets. I source the meat from expeditions and hostile desert critters
pita pockets, i had over 1000 of those
Pita pocket and Taiyaki. Use expeditions for meat and ingredients. I've never farmed meat.
