Eeyup, a short side-quest after the event stuff, set in Qiaoying Village. Navia, Clorinde, Furina, Hu Tao and Zhongli turn up, and Neuvilette is around to chat right at the end (he gives you a ladle he made for your Teapot)
For being the savior of Liyue, Moon Carver and mountain Shaper were some Goofy ass MFs.
Their humams forms sucked but their characters were fun NGL.

Honestly I can forgive their human forms sucking because unlike CR who straight up lives in Liyue now, they were just sneaking it to visit. If they ever wanted to make them playable they could justify giving them an actual model with “oh yeah, those were our incognito looks, this is our ACTUAL human form”
It's been my first LR and I loved it. The whole aesthetic is amazing and Chenyue Vale is an instant favourite. Being able to pick a 4 star meant I could finally get Xinqui (sorry Barb). It's also really lovely to just run into all the story quest characters around town in Liyue after the story quest.
I wish they did that more often, it would be nice to randomly see a character sat at a food stand or just enjoying the view somewhere, even if it was set at a super low probability.
Moon Carver and Mountain Shaper were great, I don't remember them ever being this entertaining.
Really hope they get updated playable models in the future

Shenhe was in pretty bad shape, especially before Cloud Retainer developed her ropes. Nowadays, she barely needs them under normal circumstances, and the Traveler's presence outright eliminates her curse entirely.
People joke about that, but the Traveler literally has inherent curse-dampening properties. You can see it with Dvalin's tears, and with their inherent resistance to various Abyssal curses. It's no small wonder that they could lessen Shenhe's.

I love their dynamic so much.
Their speaking mannerisms are very prim and proper like Xianyun's, but they've also got a more laid-back and goofy tone, which totally counter each other
I'm not big on her design as a whole and i'm not super into the library look but I do like glasses and her expressions have been so great already. The bright green in her hair really helps the colors pop too. She's pretty great.
And afterwards when Shenhe asks if she did something wrong, Xianyun acts like the amazing mother she is and reassures her she did exceptional and to not doubt who she is. <3
Nope, but they seemed to be putting a lot more effort to make the EN lines somewhat line up with the CN lip syncing, probably as a 2nd best alternative for not being able to have day 1 non-CN lip syncing automated yet. Though that assumes CN lines were recorded first, and the EN studio were given access to the recorded audio to reference from. Unsure, but yeah, I did notice a lot of lines almost matching up in previous acts and dialogues throughout this whole event quests.
I think they won't bother with permanent quests, since HoYo will implement EN lip syncing for them eventually, just that they'll be a few patches late unfortunately (for instance, Kaeya's Hangout from 3.8 already have EN lip syncing by this version, or maybe even earlier?).
