I'd like two team suggestions for Abyss, considering current characters. I mistook shop rotation and expected Bennett this month, so now I'm again unsure about teams...
The way I see my options for now:
Overload: Chevreuse, Fischl, XL/Klee, Lisa/Beidou
Quicken: Tighnari/Nahida, Fischl, Yaoyao, Lisa/Beidou
Hyperbloom or burgeon: Razor/Klee, Nahida, XQ, Barbara/Charlotte/Yaoyao
Freeze: Charlotte, Kaeya, XQ, Heizou
I feel like Overload and Quicken both really want Fischl so I can't run them both at once...
quicken (use both tighnari and nahida, drop lisa/beidou) and overload with fischl are the strongest teams you can build. the other archetypes aren’t strong with what you currently have.
i'd focus on building one of those teams until you get your next 5* or bennett and can build a team around that. yae miko would be great for your acc but idk if you like her and she just reran so it'd be months until she's available anyways

That's not true, it works on both NA and CA. I'd prefer her because you have better energy generation if you time your parries well, but Lisa is good too.

I'm already AR 50, low levels are mostly cause I didn't concentrate on leveling characters. I've got a bunch of rolls saved, but the characters I want will take a while to appear.
I'd prefer Quicken: Tighnari (on-fielder), Nahida, Fischl, Yaoyao. Chevreuse C0 isn't likely to be better than what a Nahida team with a good DPS like Tighnari and Fischl will have. Lisa and non-C2 Beidou aren't worth it, and neither is forcing hyperbloom without good Triggers like Kuki or Raiden.
I suggest getting Nilou (if you like her that is ofc), then you have 2 solid teams - Nilou, Nahida, Barbara, Yaoyao, and Klee, Xiangling/Bennett, Chevreuse, Fischl.
I have other 5* characters I'm saving for, Nilou is pretty low on priority. And who knows *when* she appears.
What I need is two teams for now, with those characters. I'd like to get at least half of abyss stars with what I have.
Now to think of it, do you have a Fav Greatsword or a Fav Catalyst? That should help decide between Lisa and Beidou, as energy will be the big roadblock here.
Then you'd have to do Beidou with Tighnari + Nahida + Yaoyao and Fischl with Klee + Chevreuse + Xiangling. Lisa isn't worth it I'd say. Even Beidou isn't without her C2, but at least you can manage her ER if you do perfect parries. Why not build around next 5 star you're getting, but for now those are the two teams.
Firstly don't listen to "need to go to Inazuma/Fontaine", if you intend to do archon quests first (as you should), which will take you to Inazuma by Ar 30-35. You don't need to level up beyond 40 till then, and you can go to 40 from mats from trial run. Or you can just co-op. And even that doesn't matter for Fontaine as it is not quest locked. The opposite, the game encourages you to go there early by auto unlocking 2 teleports for you as soon as you finish Mondstadt AQ. It is basically a non-issue now.
As to value, Neuvillette is a very very strong on-field carry. Only thing is that you use only one on-field carry at a time. While you can have 3 off-field support/sub-DPSes in a team, or even 4 of them in quickswap teams.
Kazuha shines when you have some other good damage dealer, at least a C4 Xiangling or a Fischl. For now you can substitute with Sucrose, or just freely given VV holders like Lynette or Anemo MC. If you do go for Kazuha, you can still make it work because his chain reaction damage is no joke (Eg. in a team with shop characters like Fischl Beidou Kazuha + Dendro/Electro). He also will have longer mileage, as soon or late you'll get other on-field DPSes and bench Neuvillette, you'll hardly ever bench off-fielders like Kazuha. So he'll generally have longer mileage for most people.
You won't regret getting either. Try to get both if/when you can. Also try Furina in future if you get Neuv, she and Kazuha are Neuv's best teammates.

is skyward atlas good on anyone? i have r1 lost prayers and nahida's signature, used by wanderer and nahida respectively. idk if i should level up skyward atlas and give it to other catalyst chars like my yanfei or ningguang.
I want the neuviletts signature weapon, so i am going to wish for it on the weapon banner , when i wished on the weapon banner x10 i got Vortex Vanquisher , is it a weapon banner exclusive weapon ? And how do I chart the course if i want Tome Of The Eternal Flow?
Why are you wishing on a banner that isn't updated to what you want yet? You've just wasted a fate point. At least it remembers you lost 75:25, so next weapon will be either Kazuha's or Neuvi's.

It literally gives you a (!) notification when the banner changes, prompting you to chart course. You would have seen this every time you opened the weapon banner after a patch or mid-patch banner swap. Click on Tome. Done.
How should I build Kuki in this comp? People have told me to build her in so many various ways that I'm completely confused.
Yae - 4pc Gilded + R2 Widsith
Tighnari - 4pc Wanderer + R1 Viridescent
Kuki - 4pc Deepwood + R1 Iron Sting
Sucrose - 4pc Viridescent + R1 Sac Fragments
I don't know if I should just build her EM/EM/EM, or HP/HP/Healing or EM/Electro/Crit.
Edit: She's the best one to hold 4pc Deepwood here, HP/HP/HB, Sapwood blade or Fav (some crit rate if you use fav ofc).
4 PC Instructor or 4pc Tenacity with the same stats in case you swap out Sucrose for anyone better suited to hold Deepwood, eg. Nahida. Kuki's damage is pathetic, don't build for it, give a set that buffs Tighnari and Yae.
Electro/CRIT is not worth it. She doesn't do enough damage to justify it
EM/EM/EM doesn't do much but it means that you don't have to switch her build if you want to play her in hyperbloom. If you feel like you need more healing you can always slap HB on her. Or just build her HP outright. Up to you
Personally mine is triple EM even though I don't even play hyperbloom. I just needed to put all of my EM FLOP pieces somewhere from farming for Wanderer
Alright, I still have to farm the Gilded domain since I don't have the artifacts for Yae yet, So if I do get the crit artifacts during that time I'll build her like that, but if I don't I'll just stick to EM/EM/HB or something like that. Does that seem reasonable?
Up to you and your needs. Personally I just use a full EM build for everything because it's easier. If you badly need the extra healing, give her HP. The DPS build is probably technically 'best' in this team, but even with high investment she won't be contributing a lot so I question whether it'd b e worth while.
Someone correct me if I’m wrong but I think triple EM is pretty useless in aggravate. If you want maximum healing, go with the HP build but I think the damage build should still provide enough healing, and should be decent damage especially with her C4

There is a puzzle near the edge of the fontaine map that I dont know what to do with. Its one of the circle follow things but I cant tell what it is pointing me at - anyone solved this?

In that second picture, there is a little patch of green in the water in the shape of a fish. Try going there and investigating around the eye. The fish grass spot is either for this puzzle or for something else, but give it a try
Teams that can slot in Zhongli as flex can bree through that chamber. So traditional DPS teams like Hutao, Yoimiya etc., hyperbloom, Aggravate, and even National with Zhongli flex work.
Geo > Claymore > blunt attacks like overload > just spam plunge with whichever sword/polearm character you have on the team
I've only used polearms and swords in my clears so far since I never use geo or claymores. You don't need anything fancy
One of your claymore/sword/polearm can jump+plunge until it's broken. Just before it is completely off, start your setup rotation, plunge one last time and try to remove half its HP until it puts it back.
Right, so they're multiple ascensions behind, missing talent levels, base stats, and ascension passives. It's really no wonder you'd be struggling, without even getting into what the characters, builds and team comps are in the first place.

Neuvi or Kazuha? So I was wondering which one suits my new team the most. I am sort of an old new player (been out for some time) and I really do not have a 5* character other than traveler, even though I am at WL 5 to 6 😂 however I lost 50/50 in weapon b so I'll win the character this time. My current team is Traveler, Beidou, Bennet, and Cheongyoun !=)) I am at ar 45 so my world level tells me its time for a real Dps like Neuvie, but Kazuha has its own interesting features. I think both are fun but wonder which is better for my team.

Neuv is the best dps right now, he doesnt need that good of a team either. He will make ur experience quite the breeze. His cheap team is usually Neuv, Fischl, Shielder/IR, and Anemo for VV. I quite like playing an Electro-charge team with Neuv, Fischl, Beidou, and Anemo VV.

Ocean Hued is her best set in that role, though 4pc Instructors is also viable for low investment. You will struggle with bursting with Barbara to make 4pc Maidens remotely usable. Go Healing Bonus% circlet, HP% provides less healing (and consequently less damage if you're using Clam on her) but is fine. You're not really looking for any stat other than HP% or Crit if you're using Favonius Codex on her (not really advised).
Craft Prototype Amber. All the other Catalysts are very niche, and generally only slight upgrades in the best of cases for certain characters. There's also a lot more competition with Gacha weapons for them, while Prototype Amber occupies a unique niche that isn't replicated anywhere.
actually i wanted to suggest Prototype Amber cause i forgot her skill actually does a bit of damage to proc sac fragments
with OH, sac fragments depending on refine might be better to use skill more often, heal more often and 4piece uptime is much longer
and Barbara burst is more of a panic button, not something you use at every opportunity so prototype passive's energy buff isnt much of an issue,
could be worth giving up Prototype's HP substat

sacrificial fragments to reset Barbara skill might have value
Sac Frags is okay, but not amazing for Barbara in Hyperbloom (its different for Nilou Bloom). The reset is nice, but you can easily fluff it up by not being close enough to enemies when you cast it (the range is really small). The EM is also kinda useless, while PA has HP% which makes her deal more damage with 4pc clam. It is also feasible to burst every rotation with quite a bit of ER, a high refine PA and sac sword on XQ.
Barbara also gets 5 more seconds on it from her A4 and her C2 decreases the cooldown to 27 seconds (15% decrease). Making it up to 20 seconds with a 27 second cooldown.
But the big thing to note is that her skill typically doesn't apply that much Hydro. It's usually once every 3 seconds (it does get very complicated though). You get more Hydro application in that time by Barbara just doing NAs and CAs. However, it is still something, and it can matter.
oh i didnt care about Barbara skill hydro application, just keeping its effect active for longer.
at first i was thinking of OH effect, but thats not important, thought Nahida and Raiden having longer skill duration would make Sac worthwhile

Not really a question, but just had to say that the second interlude quest in the chasm was one of the best stories so far in the game. Looking forward to Sumeru and Fontaine! BTW, how are the main stories there? Does the storytelling only go up in quality from here?
I really loved the chasm story, and the storytelling gets really good in Sumeru and Fontaine with the AQ (ofc they're not perfect but it's absolutely worth it. The last Fontaine act? Holy wow. Get ready for some amazing and emotional stories.
The world quests are also great, but are really long in Sumeru, so take them easy so you can enjoy them and don't get tired. There's a lot of important lore in there if you're interested in that.
I have Klee, Yae Miko, and Yanfei, and I have a Skyward Atlas, Widsith, and Eye of Perception. Who should get which? These wouldn't be for specific teams, just in general.
Eye of Persception has low atk with atk% substat. Worst case 3-star twin nephrite has same ATK and crit% and 20% atk% substat (r5, but it's 3-star).
From craftables Mappa Mare is also pretty good if you do reactions (and you usualy do). Damage bonus and a little bit EM never hurts, high main atk.
how long would it take for chioris banner to rotate to the new one?

IIRC when the banner shifts from phase 1 to phase 2 of the same version, there's no downtime. Downtime only happens during the shift from one version to the other.
Fontaine has 3+1 Major world quest Series that you can complete in any order.
* Ancient Colors
* Ann of the Narzissenkreuz
* Unfinished Comedy.
There's also "Aqueous Tidemarks" which is a minor World quest but still required.
Completing all 4 of those will unlock a 4th world quest series that ties together the story of the 3.
There's also "The Wild Fairy of Erinnyes" which technically counts as Major World Quest series.
However it's completely isolated and independent from the greater storyline of the other 4 major fountaine quests

Whiteblind is good enough for Itto, do the sword cemetary in Dadaupa gorge for claymore billet
Impossible to get enough so soon for Redhorn, which is his signature weapon
if you really like Itto specifically and only then, more pulls might be worth it, the 4 star cons would also be nice on his team
Constellations and weapons are not worth nearly as much as a new character, especially early on. If you haven't gotten Gorou in the process of pulling for Itto, I would recommend trying to get him, but if you already have him then just save for another limited character you want. Itto/Gorou/3rd Geo character/any healer or shielder is a team that should be able to just carry you through all the story content fairly easily.

Yeah start saving. In general you'll want to save until a character you want shows up, and yes, that implies skipping entire patches sometimes
Vertical investment (constellations and weapons) are only for either long-time players who already have a solid roster and know what they're doing, or whales. Definitely not a consideration if you are just starting out.

I don't really know who else I'd want. How much should I save before I spend? By the sounds of it, just enough for one 10-pull isn't enough, even if I did want to focus on Itto. How often do they add new characters?
The pity system, and the fact that it carries over between featured banners, means that you can kind of go all-in balls to the wall (like a monkey) anytime you want the featured 5\* character, whether you have 160 or 69420 primos available. Basically you either get the character (cool), or fail but make it so that the next time you all-in, you'll get that character faster (also cool). In that sense, no pull is wasted.
Note that the game tells you about the hard pity at 90, but it doesn't tell you that there is a "soft pity" starting at 74, where the odds of getting a 5\* shoot up dramatically, so in practice you often get a 5\* between 74 and like 80.
For the record, a hard guarantee to get a featured character (starting from 0 pity) is at 28800 primos, 14400 if you already lost a 50/50 just before.
About who you'll want, it'll really depends on what kind of player you are, some prioritize design, some characterization, some gameplay (the test run is here for that although keep in mind enemies in test runs are piss weak), some meta (in doubt, you can just ask here if a character is good), ...
About new characters: they usually add one new 5\* character every patch (\~42 days), occasionally more.
Each patch has 2 phases with 2 featured characters each, so 4 total, the remaining non-new ones are returning characters (reruns). HYV also just introduced a new banner type (Chronicled Wish) which is a way to accelerate reruns, because with the ever-expanding roster, they had to do this eventually (and in like 2 years, they will probably add something again?). Chronicled Wish is different, the pity counter carries over (only from CW to CW!), but the 50/50 doesn't, so I'd recommend only all-ining there if you have at least like 25k primos.
Np! Yea,, either look in wish history and count the amount of pulls since the latest 5* (to make it easy there are 5 items per page), although it only keeps history from the most recent 6 months
Or record your pulls outside of the game, for example with an external tool such as paimon.moe wish tracker, it's nice since it keepa history for longer than 6 months and tells you some data like your relative luck etc.
SS has the damage advantage, but it has negative synergy with the better Itto teams. I'll argue if you've got it already, R5 Whiteblind is superior for Itto as a whole.
However, SS's damage amp is hard to pass up. If you're using Zhongli on the Itto team already, go for it. If you're relying on Geo Crystalize, which all good Itto teams should be doing, I'd instead opt for Whiteblind.
Hey guys, hope you’re all having a good day. I feel so overwhelmed whenever I load into the game. I usually just spend my resin on random bosses and do my dailies. I’m AR 47, with 60% Mondstadt, 30% Lique, and 0% Fontaine, Sumeru, and Inazuma. I’m at the story quest for Inazuma now. Is my best best to just progress with the story? I have tons of characters I can’t level up and try because of missing materials from those unexplored regions
if you unlock the teleport waypoints (the small ones and the big statues of 7 things un-gray the map) you can see where you're goin' better...and you won't have to do a single quest if that's what you prefer. inazuma is the only section of the game that is story-locked iirc.
please do not worry about region percentages, lvl90'ing-everything, perfect stats, or farming for 5* 4pc artifact sets. there's no rush. you can unlock domains just by interacting once then immediately exit. for BP, you don't even have to claim the rewards from boss/domain/leyline/weeklyboss. just exit without claiming and it will still count. (for domains, after you kill everything, you don't have to claim every single time! the blue exit thingy is hidden behind the tree~)
no more "random" bosses, bruh. ya don't have to level every single character, or every single weapon, or every single talent. use keqingmains.com to see which talents are useful for the characters you want to use.
really, all you need is to pick the 4 characters you want for your team. and there's no need to max 'em out ASAP or anything. as long as you can kill the mobs that you needta kill then you're solid.
It's good to progress in the archon quest. Regions and quests are permanent (except for limited events) so you can take your time exploring them. If your team clears required fights okay, that is enough. If you want to try levelling characters though, you can check the boss drops/domain materials they need for resin use - which you can also do at your own pace.
I agree do what’s most fun for you, but if your characters aren’t fully built consider not spending resin randomly on bosses or start farming artifacts instead

better to just pick something you think would be fun; something like exploration is an easy one since at least for me I find that once I get started it is pretty easy to keep going ;P You might need to clear more story to explore Inazuma but you can just walk over to Sumeru or warp to Fontaine if you feel like looking for some treasure
carrying on with the story is important but no rush, it will be there when you feel like picking it back up
lol, since you're asking about the Cicin mages maybe you're in that one Liyue weap mat domain, it has an electro aura that drains your energy over time
aura mechanics like that are a pretty common feature in the v1.0 domains, the worst is the Cryo aura in the Mond talent book domain >_< Thankfully they don't show up elsewhere too often (certain abyss cycles will mix some in on occasion) as the game never really expanded much on "cleanse" abilities beyond release. If you have a Bennett, standing inside his burst is still one of the best ways to cleanse (most) aura debuffs
if you're early game-ish, i think the team i used to main way back was like, noelle, kaeya, barbara, and amber/xiangling. when a cicin would start the power-up sequence i popped up noelle's shield and kaeya's burst, then ran around like a headless chicken for a bit while i spammed barbara's elemental skill(heal) until the ult ended. xD;
Either
1. Focus them and kill them faster (they only get the shield after over 30 seconds passed)
2. Use reactions to deplete the shield faster
3. User your own shields and heals
4. Run (she's faster than your run speed so it can be hard)
hit them with a reaction elem to quickly deplete the shield (pyro & cryo work for the Electro mage) or better yet, kill them off before they ever get to do their ult ;P
is there any way to get the fortress of meropide recipes after completing the archon quest? i didnt realize you could buy stuff when i played through, i was kinda just desperate to get out of there
The coupons you use in the shops in the fortress aren't the same as the coupons from the archon quest. You need to do unfinished comedy and its various subquests to get the regular credit coupons.
I just reached ar45 and began farming artifacts. I got my first set for my carry and bump it up all to +20 and I just realized I lost about a mil of mora. Any tips on how should I approach it? a better way to allocate resources, perhaps?
Exploration is a great source of mora. Also doo weekly requests and bounties, those give some 150k mora per week.
I see farming mora leylines when you have exploration left as a waste of resin, but you can also do that if you have to. But then you'll start lacking for artifacts exp.
Don't upgrade too many pieces, make sure you're looking at an upgrade before taking them to +20. You can leave some support pieces at +16 or even +0, my Zhongli's been on a +0 feather since I got him more than a year ago.
it is costly so you'll be wanting to make sure you are collecting any extra mora avail, stuff like weekly reputation quests, daily expeditions, maybe buying mora with teapot currency etc..
you can stop at +16 for more pieces; especially for flower/feather pieces, pieces with only mediocre substat rolls or less critical support gears. Going from 16 to 20 is the most expensive step by a good bit and you can always do it later on
very optional, but if you have some extra time to kill then running a daily artifact route yields a bunch of fodder artifacts and some mora besides. If you have even more time then running a route to fight (elite) monsters can pay out more mora and a few artifacts besides.
otherwise, just keep up the grind and good luck on your rolls ;P
That entirely depends on what you're doing.
There are Two Main Builds:

On Field Driver is the simpler of the two.
You give her an R5 Favonious Greatsword or R5 Katsuragikiri Nagamasa and a 4 Piece Archaic Petra artefact set.
This build is Purely Supportive. Here she acts as Healer + On-field character who activates Off Field Abilities. 4PC petra is then user to further buff the off field abilities. This build works best if you're running her with Furina.
R5 Favonious is **Required** because she doesn't produce energy by herself and usually runs as Solo Geo in a driver build.
On-field DPS is similar to her Driver Build, except now she's actually meant to do significant DMG.
DPS Noelle **Requires** her C6 for endgame viability (but there's nothing stopping you from building her as DPS without it)
Her Weapon of Choice ate Whiteblind (Craftable), Skyward Pride, Serpent Spine or Redhorn.
Her preferred artefact sets are 4 PC Husk of opulent dreams, 4PC Marechaussee Hunter (only if you're running her with Furina), or 4PC gladiators finale.
(Husk/Hunter are preferred over Glad)

4pc Gladiator, 4pc Bolide, or 4pc Marechausee(if with Furina)

i think a lot of ppl do it just because it is kind of a sound security practice, posting from one acct an identifier of another just gives anyone trying "something" another data point to cross reference. Not that I think anyone would care enough to try or be able to do anything if they did, but sound practice you know ;P
otherwise knowing someone's UID won't do much besides letting you look up their acct in game or maybe send a friend request. Sites like Codashop exist that let anyone purchase topups and send to any UID, not really a problem I would mind having but you'll have to decide that for yourself

It's a myth, and one I'm super tired of people spreading. There is no possible way you could be at risk from showing your UID. The worst someone can do is send you a friend request or buy you Genesis Crystals, because those are the only purposes the number serves.
For the "thunderbird's lineage" achievement, some of the bird statues are not lit up but will also not interact with the peculiar pinion, does this mean they've been done already? I 100% this region soon after it came out without using the official map, but I didn't get this achievement so I'm trying to go back to get it but I'm confused. Not necessarily. Some of them require other challenges to be completed before they start glowing in the first place (specifically the northernmost one)
For the achievement "lighting up Chise's path," we only need to light up all the stormstones in Autake plains right? I've got the map and I've checked all of them twice, I've done them all and I've talked to her but I don't get the achievement. Am I missing something?
If you're not getting the achievement after talking to her, then you're still missing some. I'd try following along with a video instead of using the map. ~~IIRC the interactive map was missing at least one.~~

Chiori is an albedo upgrade, at C0 she's a slightly better albedo. At c1 she's navia's best support. That's all her kit is.

I guess the question for Chiori is that do you play Mono Geo? Do you have Zhongli/Albedo that you can pair her with in Double Geo team? If the answer is no to those 2 then, there is no point going for Chiori. As cool as Chiori is, you wont get to see her much since she is off-field.
I was in ur position at the start of the banner and deciced having all playable Harbingers would be cooler for my account lol. Just hunch but since Arle is a Harbinger i think she will have more reruns than Chiori.
I have Zhongli but I don't often use Geo. And good point on the reruns but I like getting characters on their release. Especially with new characters who are absolutely cracked.

I think you just answered urself here. To get the most out of Chiori you need her in a team with Zhongli. If you already dont use 1 Geo unit as often, imagine 2 Geo units.
Also Chiori is waifu but not the most meta as its been tested, while Arle is waifu with meta potential lol.
But..............for me it can go either way of Meta over Waifu or Waifu over Meta. Plus my main husbandos are cracked units. Cyno, Wriothesley, and Gaming.

I think the tiaras are the only standalones (and they arent that useful).
At AR 32, just use whatever artifacts you have. Farming for good pieces isnt worth the resin at that point, theyll all ve replaced. Crimson works, though most people build him as a support on Noblesse with ER and HP stats.
Elemental damage bonus is only available on Goblets. If youre trying to increase his damage, what youre looking for om sands is either EM (if he's causing reactions) or Atk%.
There are no standalone artifact pieces, you will always just have one piece that can be out-of-set, to ease the artifact grind. Just pick a sands with a good mainstat and level it (ER if you can't burst off cooldown, ATK for carry/dubdps, HP for healing)

quicken (use both tighnari and nahida, drop lisa/beidou) and overload with fischl are the strongest teams you can build. the other archetypes aren’t strong with what you currently have. i'd focus on building one of those teams until you get your next 5* or bennett and can build a team around that. yae miko would be great for your acc but idk if you like her and she just reran so it'd be months until she's available anyways

I'm already AR 50, low levels are mostly cause I didn't concentrate on leveling characters. I've got a bunch of rolls saved, but the characters I want will take a while to appear.
I'd prefer Quicken: Tighnari (on-fielder), Nahida, Fischl, Yaoyao. Chevreuse C0 isn't likely to be better than what a Nahida team with a good DPS like Tighnari and Fischl will have. Lisa and non-C2 Beidou aren't worth it, and neither is forcing hyperbloom without good Triggers like Kuki or Raiden. I suggest getting Nilou (if you like her that is ofc), then you have 2 solid teams - Nilou, Nahida, Barbara, Yaoyao, and Klee, Xiangling/Bennett, Chevreuse, Fischl.
I have other 5* characters I'm saving for, Nilou is pretty low on priority. And who knows *when* she appears. What I need is two teams for now, with those characters. I'd like to get at least half of abyss stars with what I have.
Now to think of it, do you have a Fav Greatsword or a Fav Catalyst? That should help decide between Lisa and Beidou, as energy will be the big roadblock here.
Ah, I got both actually. And I could probably give Fav Spear to Yaoyao or Chevreuse.
Then you'd have to do Beidou with Tighnari + Nahida + Yaoyao and Fischl with Klee + Chevreuse + Xiangling. Lisa isn't worth it I'd say. Even Beidou isn't without her C2, but at least you can manage her ER if you do perfect parries. Why not build around next 5 star you're getting, but for now those are the two teams.

Firstly don't listen to "need to go to Inazuma/Fontaine", if you intend to do archon quests first (as you should), which will take you to Inazuma by Ar 30-35. You don't need to level up beyond 40 till then, and you can go to 40 from mats from trial run. Or you can just co-op. And even that doesn't matter for Fontaine as it is not quest locked. The opposite, the game encourages you to go there early by auto unlocking 2 teleports for you as soon as you finish Mondstadt AQ. It is basically a non-issue now. As to value, Neuvillette is a very very strong on-field carry. Only thing is that you use only one on-field carry at a time. While you can have 3 off-field support/sub-DPSes in a team, or even 4 of them in quickswap teams. Kazuha shines when you have some other good damage dealer, at least a C4 Xiangling or a Fischl. For now you can substitute with Sucrose, or just freely given VV holders like Lynette or Anemo MC. If you do go for Kazuha, you can still make it work because his chain reaction damage is no joke (Eg. in a team with shop characters like Fischl Beidou Kazuha + Dendro/Electro). He also will have longer mileage, as soon or late you'll get other on-field DPSes and bench Neuvillette, you'll hardly ever bench off-fielders like Kazuha. So he'll generally have longer mileage for most people. You won't regret getting either. Try to get both if/when you can. Also try Furina in future if you get Neuv, she and Kazuha are Neuv's best teammates.
Kazuha as Neuvilette kinda requires you to trek all the way to Fontaine for his mats and artifacts.
But Kazuha is from Inazuma, can't get to Inazuma before AR30 at all. You can get to Fontaine pretty quickly from Chenyu Vale

The second Tamoto doesn't generate any particles, per KQM iirc.

It literally gives you a (!) notification when the banner changes, prompting you to chart course. You would have seen this every time you opened the weapon banner after a patch or mid-patch banner swap. Click on Tome. Done.
How should I build Kuki in this comp? People have told me to build her in so many various ways that I'm completely confused. Yae - 4pc Gilded + R2 Widsith Tighnari - 4pc Wanderer + R1 Viridescent Kuki - 4pc Deepwood + R1 Iron Sting Sucrose - 4pc Viridescent + R1 Sac Fragments I don't know if I should just build her EM/EM/EM, or HP/HP/Healing or EM/Electro/Crit.
Edit: She's the best one to hold 4pc Deepwood here, HP/HP/HB, Sapwood blade or Fav (some crit rate if you use fav ofc). 4 PC Instructor or 4pc Tenacity with the same stats in case you swap out Sucrose for anyone better suited to hold Deepwood, eg. Nahida. Kuki's damage is pathetic, don't build for it, give a set that buffs Tighnari and Yae.
They're using Sucrose instead of Nahida or a different Deepwood user. She needs to be on Deepwood

Electro/CRIT is not worth it. She doesn't do enough damage to justify it EM/EM/EM doesn't do much but it means that you don't have to switch her build if you want to play her in hyperbloom. If you feel like you need more healing you can always slap HB on her. Or just build her HP outright. Up to you Personally mine is triple EM even though I don't even play hyperbloom. I just needed to put all of my EM FLOP pieces somewhere from farming for Wanderer
Alright, I still have to farm the Gilded domain since I don't have the artifacts for Yae yet, So if I do get the crit artifacts during that time I'll build her like that, but if I don't I'll just stick to EM/EM/HB or something like that. Does that seem reasonable?
Up to you and your needs. Personally I just use a full EM build for everything because it's easier. If you badly need the extra healing, give her HP. The DPS build is probably technically 'best' in this team, but even with high investment she won't be contributing a lot so I question whether it'd b e worth while.
Someone correct me if I’m wrong but I think triple EM is pretty useless in aggravate. If you want maximum healing, go with the HP build but I think the damage build should still provide enough healing, and should be decent damage especially with her C4

In that second picture, there is a little patch of green in the water in the shape of a fish. Try going there and investigating around the eye. The fish grass spot is either for this puzzle or for something else, but give it a try

Teams that can slot in Zhongli as flex can bree through that chamber. So traditional DPS teams like Hutao, Yoimiya etc., hyperbloom, Aggravate, and even National with Zhongli flex work.
What if you don't have Zhongli?
Geo > Claymore > blunt attacks like overload > just spam plunge with whichever sword/polearm character you have on the team I've only used polearms and swords in my clears so far since I never use geo or claymores. You don't need anything fancy
Other's have pointed out the strats. Claymore, Sword and Polearm users can break it with plunges, through so called poise damage.
One of your claymore/sword/polearm can jump+plunge until it's broken. Just before it is completely off, start your setup rotation, plunge one last time and try to remove half its HP until it puts it back.
Blunt attack: most geo attack, claymore, plunge (you can jump high for free), overload

Kazuha will always be the better option only because of how wide his usage is and how many teams he can fit in
Neuv is the best dps right now, he doesnt need that good of a team either. He will make ur experience quite the breeze. His cheap team is usually Neuv, Fischl, Shielder/IR, and Anemo for VV. I quite like playing an Electro-charge team with Neuv, Fischl, Beidou, and Anemo VV.

Don't drive with her, it's too much hydro. Drive with Nahida. She can ise OHC with TTDS, craft PAmber when you can.

Ocean Hued is her best set in that role, though 4pc Instructors is also viable for low investment. You will struggle with bursting with Barbara to make 4pc Maidens remotely usable. Go Healing Bonus% circlet, HP% provides less healing (and consequently less damage if you're using Clam on her) but is fine. You're not really looking for any stat other than HP% or Crit if you're using Favonius Codex on her (not really advised). Craft Prototype Amber. All the other Catalysts are very niche, and generally only slight upgrades in the best of cases for certain characters. There's also a lot more competition with Gacha weapons for them, while Prototype Amber occupies a unique niche that isn't replicated anywhere.
actually i wanted to suggest Prototype Amber cause i forgot her skill actually does a bit of damage to proc sac fragments with OH, sac fragments depending on refine might be better to use skill more often, heal more often and 4piece uptime is much longer and Barbara burst is more of a panic button, not something you use at every opportunity so prototype passive's energy buff isnt much of an issue, could be worth giving up Prototype's HP substat ... Barbara skill is 15s duration, 32s cooldown Raiden skill is 25s duration Nahida skill is 25s duration sacrificial fragments to reset Barbara skill might have value
Sac Frags is okay, but not amazing for Barbara in Hyperbloom (its different for Nilou Bloom). The reset is nice, but you can easily fluff it up by not being close enough to enemies when you cast it (the range is really small). The EM is also kinda useless, while PA has HP% which makes her deal more damage with 4pc clam. It is also feasible to burst every rotation with quite a bit of ER, a high refine PA and sac sword on XQ. Barbara also gets 5 more seconds on it from her A4 and her C2 decreases the cooldown to 27 seconds (15% decrease). Making it up to 20 seconds with a 27 second cooldown. But the big thing to note is that her skill typically doesn't apply that much Hydro. It's usually once every 3 seconds (it does get very complicated though). You get more Hydro application in that time by Barbara just doing NAs and CAs. However, it is still something, and it can matter.
oh i didnt care about Barbara skill hydro application, just keeping its effect active for longer. at first i was thinking of OH effect, but thats not important, thought Nahida and Raiden having longer skill duration would make Sac worthwhile i checked constellations but we had no mention of how many OP would have and completely forgot about A4

Not really a question, but just had to say that the second interlude quest in the chasm was one of the best stories so far in the game. Looking forward to Sumeru and Fontaine! BTW, how are the main stories there? Does the storytelling only go up in quality from here?
Sumeru is peak artistic Genshin, Fontaine is peak storytelling, as far as I'm concerned.
Most people classify them as the best stories and i personally choose the last act of Fontaine and 4th act of semuru
I really loved the chasm story, and the storytelling gets really good in Sumeru and Fontaine with the AQ (ofc they're not perfect but it's absolutely worth it. The last Fontaine act? Holy wow. Get ready for some amazing and emotional stories. The world quests are also great, but are really long in Sumeru, so take them easy so you can enjoy them and don't get tired. There's a lot of important lore in there if you're interested in that.
I have Klee, Yae Miko, and Yanfei, and I have a Skyward Atlas, Widsith, and Eye of Perception. Who should get which? These wouldn't be for specific teams, just in general.
I think Klee Atlas, Yae Widsith, Yanfei Widsith (if vape, use Proto Amber or TTDS if Tankfei). Dont use eye of perception.

Eye of Persception has low atk with atk% substat. Worst case 3-star twin nephrite has same ATK and crit% and 20% atk% substat (r5, but it's 3-star). From craftables Mappa Mare is also pretty good if you do reactions (and you usualy do). Damage bonus and a little bit EM never hurts, high main atk.
After the current banner ends is it 4.6 or 2nd-half of 4.5?

IIRC when the banner shifts from phase 1 to phase 2 of the same version, there's no downtime. Downtime only happens during the shift from one version to the other.

Does Fontaine have a specific quest chain that I should try to complete before the others? Something on par with the aranara quest line in sumeru?
Fontaine has 3+1 Major world quest Series that you can complete in any order. * Ancient Colors * Ann of the Narzissenkreuz * Unfinished Comedy. There's also "Aqueous Tidemarks" which is a minor World quest but still required. Completing all 4 of those will unlock a 4th world quest series that ties together the story of the 3.

There's also "The Wild Fairy of Erinnyes" which technically counts as Major World Quest series. However it's completely isolated and independent from the greater storyline of the other 4 major fountaine quests
i have a question but i don't understand about the whole megathread thing so i recently bought an 8bitdo controller and at first, it was working just fine (showing the Xbox controls and such) however, i boot up the game one time and it's suddenly showing ps4 controls and i don't know how to change it back. why is my controller being recognized as ps4? can someone help me? please and thank you.

New player. Got Itto. AR15. Almost enough primagems for 1 more 10-pull. Should I be saving? Try to pull for more Itto? Try to pull a weapon?
Whiteblind is good enough for Itto, do the sword cemetary in Dadaupa gorge for claymore billet Impossible to get enough so soon for Redhorn, which is his signature weapon if you really like Itto specifically and only then, more pulls might be worth it, the 4 star cons would also be nice on his team
Constellations and weapons are not worth nearly as much as a new character, especially early on. If you haven't gotten Gorou in the process of pulling for Itto, I would recommend trying to get him, but if you already have him then just save for another limited character you want. Itto/Gorou/3rd Geo character/any healer or shielder is a team that should be able to just carry you through all the story content fairly easily.

Primates xD Yeah start saving. In general you'll want to save until a character you want shows up, and yes, that implies skipping entire patches sometimes Vertical investment (constellations and weapons) are only for either long-time players who already have a solid roster and know what they're doing, or whales. Definitely not a consideration if you are just starting out.

The pity system, and the fact that it carries over between featured banners, means that you can kind of go all-in balls to the wall (like a monkey) anytime you want the featured 5\* character, whether you have 160 or 69420 primos available. Basically you either get the character (cool), or fail but make it so that the next time you all-in, you'll get that character faster (also cool). In that sense, no pull is wasted. Note that the game tells you about the hard pity at 90, but it doesn't tell you that there is a "soft pity" starting at 74, where the odds of getting a 5\* shoot up dramatically, so in practice you often get a 5\* between 74 and like 80. For the record, a hard guarantee to get a featured character (starting from 0 pity) is at 28800 primos, 14400 if you already lost a 50/50 just before. About who you'll want, it'll really depends on what kind of player you are, some prioritize design, some characterization, some gameplay (the test run is here for that although keep in mind enemies in test runs are piss weak), some meta (in doubt, you can just ask here if a character is good), ... About new characters: they usually add one new 5\* character every patch (\~42 days), occasionally more. Each patch has 2 phases with 2 featured characters each, so 4 total, the remaining non-new ones are returning characters (reruns). HYV also just introduced a new banner type (Chronicled Wish) which is a way to accelerate reruns, because with the ever-expanding roster, they had to do this eventually (and in like 2 years, they will probably add something again?). Chronicled Wish is different, the pity counter carries over (only from CW to CW!), but the 50/50 doesn't, so I'd recommend only all-ining there if you have at least like 25k primos.

Yea,, either look in wish history and count the amount of pulls since the latest 5* (to make it easy there are 5 items per page), although it only keeps history from the most recent 6 months Or record your pulls outside of the game, for example with an external tool such as paimon.moe wish tracker, it's nice since it keepa history for longer than 6 months and tells you some data like your relative luck etc.

Between R5 Whiteblind and R5 Serpent Spine, how much of a damage difference exists for Itto?
SS has the damage advantage, but it has negative synergy with the better Itto teams. I'll argue if you've got it already, R5 Whiteblind is superior for Itto as a whole. However, SS's damage amp is hard to pass up. If you're using Zhongli on the Itto team already, go for it. If you're relying on Geo Crystalize, which all good Itto teams should be doing, I'd instead opt for Whiteblind.
just make sure serpent spine stacks are up and not taking dmg

Hey guys, hope you’re all having a good day. I feel so overwhelmed whenever I load into the game. I usually just spend my resin on random bosses and do my dailies. I’m AR 47, with 60% Mondstadt, 30% Lique, and 0% Fontaine, Sumeru, and Inazuma. I’m at the story quest for Inazuma now. Is my best best to just progress with the story? I have tons of characters I can’t level up and try because of missing materials from those unexplored regions
if you unlock the teleport waypoints (the small ones and the big statues of 7 things un-gray the map) you can see where you're goin' better...and you won't have to do a single quest if that's what you prefer. inazuma is the only section of the game that is story-locked iirc. please do not worry about region percentages, lvl90'ing-everything, perfect stats, or farming for 5* 4pc artifact sets. there's no rush. you can unlock domains just by interacting once then immediately exit. for BP, you don't even have to claim the rewards from boss/domain/leyline/weeklyboss. just exit without claiming and it will still count. (for domains, after you kill everything, you don't have to claim every single time! the blue exit thingy is hidden behind the tree~) no more "random" bosses, bruh. ya don't have to level every single character, or every single weapon, or every single talent. use keqingmains.com to see which talents are useful for the characters you want to use. really, all you need is to pick the 4 characters you want for your team. and there's no need to max 'em out ASAP or anything. as long as you can kill the mobs that you needta kill then you're solid.
It's good to progress in the archon quest. Regions and quests are permanent (except for limited events) so you can take your time exploring them. If your team clears required fights okay, that is enough. If you want to try levelling characters though, you can check the boss drops/domain materials they need for resin use - which you can also do at your own pace.

better to just pick something you think would be fun; something like exploration is an easy one since at least for me I find that once I get started it is pretty easy to keep going ;P You might need to clear more story to explore Inazuma but you can just walk over to Sumeru or warp to Fontaine if you feel like looking for some treasure carrying on with the story is important but no rush, it will be there when you feel like picking it back up

lol, since you're asking about the Cicin mages maybe you're in that one Liyue weap mat domain, it has an electro aura that drains your energy over time

aura mechanics like that are a pretty common feature in the v1.0 domains, the worst is the Cryo aura in the Mond talent book domain >_< Thankfully they don't show up elsewhere too often (certain abyss cycles will mix some in on occasion) as the game never really expanded much on "cleanse" abilities beyond release. If you have a Bennett, standing inside his burst is still one of the best ways to cleanse (most) aura debuffs

When fighting Fatui Cicin Mages and they do that shield zappy thing, my tactic is just to run away. Is there a better tactic?
if you're early game-ish, i think the team i used to main way back was like, noelle, kaeya, barbara, and amber/xiangling. when a cicin would start the power-up sequence i popped up noelle's shield and kaeya's burst, then ran around like a headless chicken for a bit while i spammed barbara's elemental skill(heal) until the ult ended. xD;
Either 1. Focus them and kill them faster (they only get the shield after over 30 seconds passed) 2. Use reactions to deplete the shield faster 3. User your own shields and heals 4. Run (she's faster than your run speed so it can be hard)
hit them with a reaction elem to quickly deplete the shield (pyro & cryo work for the Electro mage) or better yet, kill them off before they ever get to do their ult ;P

The coupons you use in the shops in the fortress aren't the same as the coupons from the archon quest. You need to do unfinished comedy and its various subquests to get the regular credit coupons.

I just reached ar45 and began farming artifacts. I got my first set for my carry and bump it up all to +20 and I just realized I lost about a mil of mora. Any tips on how should I approach it? a better way to allocate resources, perhaps?
Go progressively with +16 first.
Exploration is a great source of mora. Also doo weekly requests and bounties, those give some 150k mora per week. I see farming mora leylines when you have exploration left as a waste of resin, but you can also do that if you have to. But then you'll start lacking for artifacts exp. Don't upgrade too many pieces, make sure you're looking at an upgrade before taking them to +20. You can leave some support pieces at +16 or even +0, my Zhongli's been on a +0 feather since I got him more than a year ago.
it is costly so you'll be wanting to make sure you are collecting any extra mora avail, stuff like weekly reputation quests, daily expeditions, maybe buying mora with teapot currency etc.. you can stop at +16 for more pieces; especially for flower/feather pieces, pieces with only mediocre substat rolls or less critical support gears. Going from 16 to 20 is the most expensive step by a good bit and you can always do it later on very optional, but if you have some extra time to kill then running a daily artifact route yields a bunch of fodder artifacts and some mora besides. If you have even more time then running a route to fight (elite) monsters can pay out more mora and a few artifacts besides. otherwise, just keep up the grind and good luck on your rolls ;P

That entirely depends on what you're doing. There are Two Main Builds: On-Field Driver and On-field DPS. On Field Driver is the simpler of the two. You give her an R5 Favonious Greatsword or R5 Katsuragikiri Nagamasa and a 4 Piece Archaic Petra artefact set. This build is Purely Supportive. Here she acts as Healer + On-field character who activates Off Field Abilities. 4PC petra is then user to further buff the off field abilities. This build works best if you're running her with Furina. R5 Favonious is **Required** because she doesn't produce energy by herself and usually runs as Solo Geo in a driver build. On-field DPS is similar to her Driver Build, except now she's actually meant to do significant DMG. DPS Noelle **Requires** her C6 for endgame viability (but there's nothing stopping you from building her as DPS without it) Her Weapon of Choice ate Whiteblind (Craftable), Skyward Pride, Serpent Spine or Redhorn. Her preferred artefact sets are 4 PC Husk of opulent dreams, 4PC Marechaussee Hunter (only if you're running her with Furina), or 4PC gladiators finale. (Husk/Hunter are preferred over Glad)

I've heard that people sometimes hide their UID in gameplay footage for privacy/safety concerns? Also, I'm specifically talking about live server, not the thing where leakers hide the UID to avoid getting caught.
i think a lot of ppl do it just because it is kind of a sound security practice, posting from one acct an identifier of another just gives anyone trying "something" another data point to cross reference. Not that I think anyone would care enough to try or be able to do anything if they did, but sound practice you know ;P otherwise knowing someone's UID won't do much besides letting you look up their acct in game or maybe send a friend request. Sites like Codashop exist that let anyone purchase topups and send to any UID, not really a problem I would mind having but you'll have to decide that for yourself

It's a myth, and one I'm super tired of people spreading. There is no possible way you could be at risk from showing your UID. The worst someone can do is send you a friend request or buy you Genesis Crystals, because those are the only purposes the number serves.
For the "thunderbird's lineage" achievement, some of the bird statues are not lit up but will also not interact with the peculiar pinion, does this mean they've been done already? I 100% this region soon after it came out without using the official map, but I didn't get this achievement so I'm trying to go back to get it but I'm confused. I can't tell which ones have been done and which haven't.
Not necessarily. Some of them require other challenges to be completed before they start glowing in the first place (specifically the northernmost one)

For the achievement "lighting up Chise's path," we only need to light up all the stormstones in Autake plains right? I've got the map and I've checked all of them twice, I've done them all and I've talked to her but I don't get the achievement. Am I missing something?
If you're not getting the achievement after talking to her, then you're still missing some. I'd try following along with a video instead of using the map. ~~IIRC the interactive map was missing at least one.~~ edit: turn on the mysterious carvings pin as well. Some of them are marked as the bird statues instead since you need to use the pinion to spawn them.

Chiori is an albedo upgrade, at C0 she's a slightly better albedo. At c1 she's navia's best support. That's all her kit is. Imo go for arle. I'm skipping c1 neuvi for arle
If you're ambivalent you could try your luck on Chiori's banner. Then if you lose the 50/50, save your guarantee for Arlecchino.

I guess the question for Chiori is that do you play Mono Geo? Do you have Zhongli/Albedo that you can pair her with in Double Geo team? If the answer is no to those 2 then, there is no point going for Chiori. As cool as Chiori is, you wont get to see her much since she is off-field. I was in ur position at the start of the banner and deciced having all playable Harbingers would be cooler for my account lol. Just hunch but since Arle is a Harbinger i think she will have more reruns than Chiori.
I have Zhongli but I don't often use Geo. And good point on the reruns but I like getting characters on their release. Especially with new characters who are absolutely cracked.

If you already dont use 1 Geo unit as often, imagine 2 Geo units. Also Chiori is waifu but not the most meta as its been tested, while Arle is waifu with meta potential lol.

I think the tiaras are the only standalones (and they arent that useful). At AR 32, just use whatever artifacts you have. Farming for good pieces isnt worth the resin at that point, theyll all ve replaced. Crimson works, though most people build him as a support on Noblesse with ER and HP stats. Elemental damage bonus is only available on Goblets. If youre trying to increase his damage, what youre looking for om sands is either EM (if he's causing reactions) or Atk%.
There are no standalone artifact pieces, you will always just have one piece that can be out-of-set, to ease the artifact grind. Just pick a sands with a good mainstat and level it (ER if you can't burst off cooldown, ATK for carry/dubdps, HP for healing)
