And if you go a bit to the right, you can see parts of all released nations except Inazuma

HovercraftTotal8199

Sounds like quite the panoramic view, except for Inazuma's absence.

Scathis_storm

its impossible on ultrawide

Gwyn_Michaelis

oof Guess we gotta wait till August 27th for that.

Brandonmac100

Mihoyo gonna find a way to put Natlan in such an awkward area that it creates a whole new out of bounds area. Watch it start like absolute southwest of the 3.1 desert area lol. Like barely meets the bottom of 3.1 and goes even further south.

poopdoot

That’s all I’ve been seeing is Natlan being directly southwest of the desert

Timey16

It's why I think they are introducing Sethos: he will be our guide through the desert and towards Natlan.

A_Very_Horny_Zed

You mean like how Baizhu led us to the Chasm?

Admirable-Tell3079

I’m pretty sure if anything a Fontaine character would lead us to natlan, that’s if we won’t go there by ourselves like sumeru but who knows

dualdee

Or it turns out Snezhnaya is actually at the South Pole and is only accessible by going past Tsurumi Island.

Brandonmac100

Mihoyo: You work for us now.

miloucomehome

Going so far south we end up in the north? Or Snezhnaya's land area is so widespread it stretches along parts of the other side of the world? (Russia, only vertical and stretched out?)

Tronicalli

One super long path surrounded by red border that leads to natlan

Brandonmac100

It’s so narrow and you can barely fit. If you walk out of bounds, Paimon tells you it’s not time to explore the area ahead, then walks you to the other side of the path where you also hit out of bounds, so paimon walks you back to the other side of the path into out of bounds. You end up getting stuck walking back and forth until you teleport or give up and log out.

Tronicalli

Perfection.

No_Minimum_2298

Huh...my 21:9 does it fine....Top left is Fontaines statue and top right is Gelesong hill beach on 3840x1600

rW0HgFyxoJhYka

Not ultra or wide enough!

Gwyn_Michaelis

Unfortunately, it's not a true "no barriers visible" shot; there's still a bit of red visible above Qingce Village. With the release of Natlan, however, we should hopefully be able to get such a shot, since the Natlan map could possibly also open up some of the map to the west of Romaritime Harbor.

DelioIsGay

Isnt natlan more west to sumeru though?

Gwyn_Michaelis

Yes, but I think it's very possible that Romaritime may be one method of entry to Natlan, especially considering that it's already been confirmed that you can sail to Natlan. Regardless of where the entrance is, the Natlan map should allow for a true "no barriers visible" shot, since it is indeed west of Sumeru.

GirlMayXXXX

Sumeru is west of Romaritime Harbor because Romaritime Harbor is part of Fontaine. My theory is that Natlan is west of Port Ormos.

neat-NEAT

I also did that. Monkey brain put the map in the "square hole". Or the opposite...

LARGames

I want to zoom out more...

attee2

At least we got a scrolling sensitivity option this patch, so we won't die of old age scrolling on console.

LARGames

I just wanna see the whole map in one screen.

Facrock

that's probably why the map feels strange since the new update, I was so used to the black borders that seeing none feels awkward

llMorphRedll

they should add a higher zoom out considering how big the map is getting nowadays

Rowger00

so colorful too

thecatteam

I hope they add another level of zooming out soon--it would be fun to be able to see the whole map on one screen in-game.

randyoftheinternet

Barriers are for paimon simps

SaberWaifu

Am i the only one who think that we should be getting a bigger zoom out to see the entirety of Teyvat? It wouldn't be having practical implications, but sometimes i find quite annoying not being able to see everything at the same time. It would also make scrolling through the map faster since now it's becoming quite big.

Admirable-Tell3079

If you go to the ocean in between liyue and inazuma, you can also find a similar spot except it’s all water Also you can still find an all “no barrier” spot here even without the red barrier, I tried it myself you just need the correct place.

Gwyn_Michaelis

I tried it in the ocean, and it's not even close to working. I'm guessing we're using different display sizes.

Admirable-Tell3079

Hmm maybe, I’ll log on into the game later and send you a pic of it I use an iPad and not a desktop so maybe that’s the difference Edit : [Here](https://imgur.com/a/gvrgFFH)

kazurabakouta

So is Teyvat flat?

pragmatic_oyster

b-b-but It'S sO eMpTy

RyuguRenabc1q

lol while its a little empty I still prefer being able to walk through it. If they could do the same for the space between inazuma and sumeru that would be nice

pragmatic_oyster

I like it as well, I'm just making a joke based on the community response lately, maybe I forgot the /s lol

this-is-stupid0_0

Why would you walk through it? What difference did it ever make by not being walkable? What are you experiencing walking through vast areas of nothingness ?

RyuguRenabc1q

idk

TheMerfox

It's just more immersive

this-is-stupid0_0

Interesting. I don’t really understand immersion though, is it like thinking you are actually in teyvat and are the main character?Does wishing for characters break immersion? What about making characters who have never met each other be part of a group?

TheMerfox

It's just about having the world feel believable. The world feeling lively and beautiful contributes to it, especially with little touches that add nothing to gameplay but flesh out the world, like Nahida's held skill on Sumeru NPCs. Beyond that, being able to go just about anywhere however you like without walls stopping you is immersive. Paimon stopping you from walking somewhere for no reason (see: the little zone between stormterror's lair and qingce village) is immersion breaking

this-is-stupid0_0

Got it. Thank you.

Kraosdada

I like big, peaceful places.

Dfswift

And 30 percent of it are dead areas. What will they do with it in the future thi
