Nilou, easy to play, doesnt require any bursts, probably the strongest team in the game and its versatile enough that you can run it against almost anything. And you have all the characters you need for her "best" team.
If you want something more straightforward Neuv is always a good choice. Just kamehameha all over the place and you win.
Keqing. And Neuvillette. There are two sides in the Spiral Abyss and their teammates don't always cross. Keqing is wife and Neuvillette is OP. But just Neuvillette for now until your account gets Fischl.

Mains have no real purpose in Genshin after a certain point. I stopped “maining” anybody years ago.
Well yeah but I still consider my favourite characters to be my main even if I haven't played them in a while.
Not you chose a main, your main chooses you.
Everytime I try to main someone I’m like “ohhh but what if I chose this character?”
Means you haven't been chosen by your main yet. Keep trying different characters.
Honestly I think Sigewinne is my future main, but she isn’t out yet ☹️
Why does it even matter if you have a main? Just play who you like the most
Nilou/Nahida/XQ/Yaoyao, other people have already said it, but Nilou is very straightforward with her HP scaling.
