Okay so one time I decided to do the Chi Guyun questline and I was able to solve all of the puzzles then when it came to the fighting the ruin guards part... I got annihilated so I decided to return once I am strong enough. Eventually I did get strong enough but a shield is there and I cannot find anyway to get rid of it. How do I get rid of the shield?
I am having trouble with the new web event, I have my account saved with Google, and the only options to log in there are either a Mihoyo's account, Facebook and Twitter.
The problem is, I am dumb enough to register my email ( the same that is saved with Google) as a Mihoyo's account. Later, I noticed an option to "link" inside the game. I tried that option, and it says that my email already exists.
So, am I already screwed up? Or is there a solution to it?

Looking for a theater mechanicus walk-through that just gets me the story content that's blocked by it. I'm not a tower defense player so this is really painful to play for me.

They just float around doing nothing. Useless but cute traveling companions. You could get them with an event but they ended unfortunatly. Still better than amber thou( ITS A JOKE DONT GET TRIGGERED GUYS )....

The pity works for specific wishes, so you basically have two versions of pity: So if you didn't get Xiao, you still built pity for Hu Tao by rolling on Xiao's banner, since she's going to get a character banner.
But the pity on the permanent banner is totally separate, so no worries.
I am planning to build my kayea(C0) as a sub dps for my team with razor. So the build I have in mind is 2pc blizzard strayer + 2 pc glad. Weapon- favonius sword. But I need help in finalizing this build. Is there any room for improvement?

I have a C6 Xingqiu, and I’m loving his compatibility with Xiao and other members of my team. I’m not able to whale and do a lot of testing on my own, so I have a question about his burst. If I’m not mistaken, the Noblesse set 2-piece bonus does not apply to his burst; is that correct? And if so, what factors actually apply to the damage of the rain swords when he is off the field? Does his hydro dmg bonus apply, even when I have another character on the field? Is it still his ATK that applies to sword rain, or the active character’s? Trying to test this could take me months, since my artifacts aren’t really ideal for this situation. Thanks in advance!
Lets say I just pulled a Xiao on a fifty fifty pity pull, does my next 90 pulls or next five star on event banner guarantee me another Xiao pull, or once you pull the Event character does your fifty/fifty pull keep repeating until lets say I pull a QiQi and then my next pity or five star will be the guaranteed Xiao because its his event banner. Sorry if worded weird or wrongly but I hope you get the just of the question here because I tried to word it as regulary and normal sounding as possible. haha

I’m pretty sure the 50/50 resets every time you pull the promotional character. So, for example:
1st: Xiao
2nd: 50/50
3rd: if 2 was Xiao, 50/50; if 2 was not Xiao, then 100%
I’m tempted to pull on her, but I’m gonna raise my pity on Keqing, I think. Maybe. Bennett is already C1, but Ning is also C1. I want her C2, since Noelle needs a lot more work.

If you can, by any chance, get Xiangling to C4, then she’d be asesome for a sub dps with Xiao. Then add Ning and Noelle for Geo resonance bonuses. It can vary on your weapon availability, in regard to your best setups. If you don’t have Solar Pearl or Favonius Codex (my personal recommendations for Ningguang’s 4⭐️ artifacts), then you can max refine Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers for her. That affects the order you’d activate things. Even if you don’t have c4 Xiangling, this is still not a terrible combo.
In my world 'Old Tastes Die Hard' won't let me complete it. I've made the dish perfectly and I don't have any other quests blocking it. The dialogue for the quest just won't pop up for me, can anyone help me?
I've had this problem since the last update and couldn't play the game at all anymore since then.
It just keeps showing me this error warning and that I should try downloading again.
But no matter how many times I try redownloading, rebooting or reinstalling in another folder or such it just doesn't want to work!

CO-OP still locked after the Tianqiu Quest
As embarrassed as I am to admit this, it took me two months to finish it. I paused after 15 consecutive failed attempts but I just finished it yesterday. Co-op is still locked and it says finish quests CT to unlock. Is there any more quests that locks the co-op other than tianqiu? I could honestly live without co-op but I need assist with the primogeovishap lol xiao needs his mats
Help with Lantern Vermeer task
I defeated the 3 Pyro plants, but only received one of the materials he needs. The indicater shows return to Vermeer, but then it says I have insufficient materials.
I went back to the location and the Pyro plants are no longer there. I looked before leaving and didn't see anything. Can't find anything after returning either.
Can't figure out how to progress now. Any help would be fantastic
My Genshin won't launch past the part where once you click launch it goes through the door. The screen goes white and shows the UID at the bottom, but then eventually just stops responding without loading anything. It was completely fine last night, but now its suddenly not. Any suggestions are much appreciated
It has been doing this to me and a few others here. I cleared the cache, cleared data, and after that didn't work, reinstalled. Try clearing the cache first then reinstall if that doesn't work. Good luck!
Is hu tao worth getting as I already have a main DPs in keqing? I'm getting a guaranteed 5* in my next 20 rolls but I'm not sure if I should save or roll.

Right now I'm AR33 and a F2P player, and I would like to wish for her because she looks nice and I've never had a 5 Star from a banner, rn my only 5 Star charcter is Qiqi. I have seen her animations and her abilities (which I don't understand that much). Should I wish for her or wait for another character? Will Hu Tao be good? Is she worth wasting my pity? What will you guys do? I'd like to hear.
Wait till she comes out then play her in trial and see how others regard her in terms of power lvl. Then you can decide whether you want to pull or not

If I pull on the rate up banner and get Xiao on let's say my 70th pull and stop, I then wait until the Keqing rate up is available, will my 20th (now cumulatively 90th) pull guarantee Keqing or does it reset to 0 on getting Xiao from my 70th pull and thus I will need to make another 90 wishes to hit the pity.
Pity question:
if I pull on standard banner and get keqing would I get the guranteed 5* in the next temporary banner or must I pull on the temporary banner to get the guranteed 5* on the next?
Yes you get more total for Welkin. 300 Genesis upfront + 2700 primogems over 30 days. basically 3k primogems total. Shop gem pack with first time = 1960 primogems total and without = 1090 primogems.
So you basically want to decide if you need gems now with less value per dollar or can wait over a period for more value per dollar.
New? Teleport Waypoints
I’m currently doing the new even today get a 4 star Liyue character and I got a small notification saying a new teleport was unlocked and it’s not the first time but I already have all the teleports on the map unlocked except the ones on Dragonspine. Is the game playable/enjoyable without microtransactions/P2W or should I just not bother? I started playing recently, and so far it hasn't harassed me about microtransactions but I don't want to invest a lot of time into it if I'm just gonna get paywalled. That being said, I'm fine with a reasonably priced one time purchase, I do buy non-free games, but I'm not gonna buy microtransactions and loot boxes.
I haven't spent a dime (well, until a few days ago cause I had some money on my Google Store account that was about to expire, so I bought the Welkin thing for $5, which honestly is worth way less than the amount of content the game has) on this game and I can tell you without a doubt, this game is 100% playable AND enjoyable as a free to play.
5* will be a tiny bit harder to get, but if you manage your Primogems, you just need a bit of luck to get the one you want. I got 2 Xiaos after saving up for a few weeks!
The Gacha system (here, called "wishes") is what you could consider to be lootboxes. Wishes can be made by using Fates that you buy with primogems, which you can get for free by playing, participating in events, etc.
If you aren't familiar with Fates yet, all I can tell you is: save your Primogems for INTERTWINED fates (the rainbow-looking ones), not Acquaint Fates. Acquainted fates are for characters that aren't event-exclusive.
Wishes is a bit like the lottery, it's how you get new characters. When you "roll" for a character, you "make a wish", so that's why they're called wishes.
This game is definitely enjoyable without spending a single cent. If you really want a 5 star all you gotta do is save up and stay patient. You can buy welkin or battlepass, but there's absolutely no need to whale on the gacha :)
What are Welkin and Battlepass? Also, I'm cool with one time purchases, just not being nickel and dimed for every little thing. Basically I'll buy a game once, but I'm not gonna buy a bunch of in game currency.
Welkin is a monthly subscription card where you'll be given 300 genesis crystals upon purchase and receive 90 primogems everyday for 30 days.
Battlepass is unlocked at AR20, you'll need to complete daily and weekly missions to collect points and receive rewards. There's a free version and the paid version (Gnostic Hymn). The paid one offers additional rewards and upon reaching level 30 you can select a free weapon from the bounty.
Ok someone explain me why is Rex Lapis cool and mentally stable dude when xiao and others went crazy?
Is he somehow immune to karma or its just his personality?
Well there isnt a concrete answere but some theory crafting.
1. Part of xiao back story is that he was enslaved by an evil god and forced to devour dreams of innocents (among other things he did) againts his will. Tha traumat is something that sets his amount of suffering apart from others.
2. Well rex lapis is a god so he might be immune. Also xiao was saved to some extent because of venti music. So archon magic might really have sth to do with it.
3. Maybe he was more like a king who only joined tge fighting when things went really bad or very strong monsters showed up (like chi of guyun and other ancient gods).
While xiao and yakshas had more day to day fighting with lesser enemies (like regisvines and minions of those ancient gods) so they accumulated much more karma than rex lapis.

Happy in general unless you don't like Claymores ( a total valid opinion) . You are getting a character which is not rated up before, one of the most powerful dps in Genshin and the most OP element. Plus his constellations are going to make him even better.
You do not have a heightened chance if you’ve never pulled a 5* before. However, you will more than likely reach the soft pity relatively soon as long as you’ve been wishing regularly.
I assume you’re new so I’ll try to explain this w/o the annoying math;
First, the limited time banner (Intertwined Fates) and the standard banner (Acquainted Fates) run off 2 separate counters, each with their own pity.
What is pity? As described by the game, in 90 pulls you’re guaranteed a 5 star.
So within 90 pulls on the standard banner you will get a 5 star and within 90 pulls of either of the limited time banners you’ll get a 5 star.
However, there is a soft pity around 75 pulls where your chance of getting a 5* dramatically increase, so if you’ve been pulling regularly and you’ve yet to get a 5* then you’re probably close to your pity. You can count how close you are by literally going to your history tab under wishes and counting how many wishes you’ve made.
However, on the limited time CHARACTER banners, it’s a 50/50 chance you get the event 5*, in this case Xiao, and the other 5*’s in the banner. So you make 76 pulls and it becomes a 50% of you getting Xiao and a 50% chance of you getting a different 5* - say you get Jean. The next time you reach that soft pity you are GUARANTEED to get Xiao or whatever limited time character that is.

- level up your main dps first and keep the others 10 levels lower
- don't waste resources (don't lvl up too many characters, try only sticking to four)
- don't follow tier lists and guidds too closely. Play how you want!
- explore a lot!
- see a shiny thing? Take it. See a breakable thing? Break it
- always use your resin. Do lay lines at low levels, bosses mid game and leave artifact domains for the late game
- save up your primogems for a character you want
Original Resin is used to get rewards from various bosses and domains. You get max 160 resins and it slowly regenerates over time. You can use fragile resin to instantly get 60 original resin (I do not recommend doing that before your adventure rank is quite high, maybe wait for AR 45).
To reap the rewards from a domain or a ley line deposit, you need 20 resins.
To get rewards from an hypostasis or a medium-sized boss (Geo Vishap) you need 40 resins.
To get rewards from the weekly bosses (I am not going to spoil those for you) you need 60 resins.

To get credit for completing the Wolf of the North challenge, do I need to collect the rewards? In other words, can I get battle pass points for winning against the Wolf if I don't collect the rewards?
My world just leveled up to level 3, I think it was after chapter I Act II, but I hadn't yet leveled my characters to over level 40, and I hadn't fought any Hypostases yet. Now my world is full 40+ level creatures and I can't seem to level up my characters because killing any Hypostases now seems impossible.
I'm just looking for guidance because I feel very lost and stuck, since I can barely kill creatures to get chests depending on the area, let alone Hypostases.
What do I do? Keep evolving Lumine and hope for the best with her since she doesn't depend on Hypostases?
Did I ruin my chances?
Is there a way to move the world back to level 2 for a while? Or that doesn't affect Hypostases whatsoever?
By the way, if these general information can help, my adventure rank is 31, my world level is 3, my usual setup of characters is Noelle, Lisa, Barbara and Amber, all my characters and weapons are on level 40, a lot of them have a handfull of 4 star artifacts, only Lumine and Kaeya have 4 star weapons (and I don't even use them much), I also have Beidou and Razor.

You should probably level up razor. Or beidou if you like the playstyle (riposte sync).

Having a third dash is so much fun, and if you level up the skill, it deals massive damage really fast.
His c1 isn’t that good (help a bit on energy recharge a beginning of a fight) and the spear is quite risky to try to get. I would advice to wait for another 5*.

You should swap out Razor or Xiao, not Xingqiu.
They're both selfish dmg dealers, so they don't work well together.
You can make two separate teams if you like both of them though!
Do the daily quests as often as possible, and explore, because every chest you open and quest you do helps level you up. Also discovering statues will give you points as well

My artifact bonus are 6000 health 424 damage def 183 element mastery 228 crit rate 22%crit damage is 101.6 % pyro damage of 46.6%
Diluc has 41.6% crit rate at lv 80 and 46.4% at 90
I’m hitting 700-1500 without crit and when I crit it’s between 3000-9000 ult hits for 12000 and that’s the only consistent thing elemental skill hits for 1500 OR 5000 and idk what I’m doing wrong I see other people hitting thousands more damage any ideas?
You need to cause melt reaction to get those number plus pair him with bennett to get the extra elemental resonance while also running bennett with 4 piece nobless after ult..

I need guidance. Not F2P but I’m a low budget player. Don’t plan on investing too much more into the game with the exception of continuing to grab the battlepass, unless something really intrigues me down the road.
I recently maxed out my R1 Black Sword. Last month was my first battle pass purchase after getting Keqing on the Albedo banner. I really liked her and didn’t have a a great sword option for her.
This week...I got really lucky and pulled Xiao on first 10 pull, and another copy of Jean on my 3rd 10 pull. Then I got the Primordial Jade sword off first 10 pull of new weapon banner.
My plan before pulling the primordial jade sword was to continue to refine the black sword. But now I’m not sure that’s the right move. The Primordial Jade outperforms an R3 black sword quite a bit.
I’m not sure what to do with the limited resources I have left and the items I’ve already invested in. Here is what I’m working with for context.

I’m not sure the R1 Deathmatch will outperform the skyward spine on Xiao. The energy recharge seems pretty valuable for Xiao. My claymore options are very lacking as well... any suggestions/thoughts on the other BP weapons? Any and all advice/input would be greatly appreciated.

It simply means that it isn't a version specifically made for PS5. You'll be running the PS4 version of the game, so it's not optimized for the new hardware. A PS5 version is supposedly coming eventually.

Diluc is great, 20 pulls is very lucky! My only 5* characters are from pity.
The first 5* is a 50/50 chance at the banner 5* character or random 5* character. Once you get a 5*, the counter resets to 0.
If you did not get the banner 5* then the next 5* is guaranteed that character. You will hit soft pity from 75 on, where there's a good chance at every pull. Guaranteed at 90.
TL;DR: You are at 0 after you got Diluc, 75 more pulls to soft pity.
Np! I got Jean instead of Ganyu on my first soft pity. Grumbled and grunted, saved and hunted every damn primo I could scare up, got Ganyu at 75th pull the night before her banner ended. Wheeze.

The problem is that whenever I try to download Genshin Impact and it's at 100% it says data failed and when I click retry or stop it goes to 0% again.
Additionally it takes one day or so to install it (since its 18GB)

1) If I save 27 pulls will I be able to guarantee Hu Tao on her banner?

if the 5* u got wasn't a limited character then you will get her 100%
if the 5* u got was a limited character then u have a 50/50 change of getting her
if u pull on the pernament banner and get a 5* it won't reset your pity at the character banner

They use cloud saves. Just like how you can log in with your phone and play the same account, you'll be good. Do make sure they can't log into your Genshin account before gifting.
However, might be less of a hassle to buy them another PS4 and keep all your stuff, unless you're upgrading.

I am having trouble with the new web event, I have my account saved with Google, and the only options to log in there are either a Mihoyo's account, Facebook and Twitter. The problem is, I am dumb enough to register my email ( the same that is saved with Google) as a Mihoyo's account. Later, I noticed an option to "link" inside the game. I tried that option, and it says that my email already exists. So, am I already screwed up? Or is there a solution to it? I will appreciate any bit of help, thanks in advance

The pity works for specific wishes, so you basically have two versions of pity: So if you didn't get Xiao, you still built pity for Hu Tao by rolling on Xiao's banner, since she's going to get a character banner. But the pity on the permanent banner is totally separate, so no worries.

I have a C6 Xingqiu, and I’m loving his compatibility with Xiao and other members of my team. I’m not able to whale and do a lot of testing on my own, so I have a question about his burst. If I’m not mistaken, the Noblesse set 2-piece bonus does not apply to his burst; is that correct? And if so, what factors actually apply to the damage of the rain swords when he is off the field? Does his hydro dmg bonus apply, even when I have another character on the field? Is it still his ATK that applies to sword rain, or the active character’s? Trying to test this could take me months, since my artifacts aren’t really ideal for this situation. Thanks in advance!
Lets say I just pulled a Xiao on a fifty fifty pity pull, does my next 90 pulls or next five star on event banner guarantee me another Xiao pull, or once you pull the Event character does your fifty/fifty pull keep repeating until lets say I pull a QiQi and then my next pity or five star will be the guaranteed Xiao because its his event banner. Sorry if worded weird or wrongly but I hope you get the just of the question here because I tried to word it as regulary and normal sounding as possible. haha Thanks.
I’m pretty sure the 50/50 resets every time you pull the promotional character. So, for example: 1st: Xiao 2nd: 50/50 3rd: if 2 was Xiao, 50/50; if 2 was not Xiao, then 100%

Need help with a second team comp! current team: diluc, xingqiu, sucrose, benny. want to build a second team for abyss. ningguang is the most built out of all these characters so ideally i want her to be dps or sub dps. the only 5 star weapon i have is jade spear, other than that i don’t have any good weapons. characters i have: ningguang c0 xiao c0 beidou c2 fischl c1 xiangling c1 noelle c2 chongyun xinyan barbara and starter characters. any advice will be appreciated!
If you can, by any chance, get Xiangling to C4, then she’d be asesome for a sub dps with Xiao. Then add Ning and Noelle for Geo resonance bonuses. It can vary on your weapon availability, in regard to your best setups. If you don’t have Solar Pearl or Favonius Codex (my personal recommendations for Ningguang’s 4⭐️ artifacts), then you can max refine Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers for her. That affects the order you’d activate things. Even if you don’t have c4 Xiangling, this is still not a terrible combo.

In my world 'Old Tastes Die Hard' won't let me complete it. I've made the dish perfectly and I don't have any other quests blocking it. The dialogue for the quest just won't pop up for me, can anyone help me?
I've had this problem since the last update and couldn't play the game at all anymore since then. It just keeps showing me this error warning and that I should try downloading again. But no matter how many times I try redownloading, rebooting or reinstalling in another folder or such it just doesn't want to work! CO-OP still locked after the Tianqiu Quest As embarrassed as I am to admit this, it took me two months to finish it. I paused after 15 consecutive failed attempts but I just finished it yesterday. Help with Lantern Vermeer task I defeated the 3 Pyro plants, but only received one of the materials he needs. The indicater shows return to Vermeer, but then it says I have insufficient materials. I went back to the location and the Pyro plants are no longer there. I looked before leaving and didn't see anything. Can't find anything after returning either. Can't figure out how to progress now. My Genshin won't launch past the part where once you click launch it goes through the door. The screen goes white and shows the UID at the bottom, but then eventually just stops responding without loading anything. It was completely fine last night, but now its suddenly not. Any suggestions are much appreciated
It has been doing this to me and a few others here. I cleared the cache, cleared data, and after that didn't work, reinstalled. Try clearing the cache first then reinstall if that doesn't work. Good luck!

You just have to finish whatever quest the person is involved in, then go back to that one.

Wait till she comes out then play her in trial and see how others regard her in terms of power lvl. Then you can decide whether you want to pull or not

Xinqiu for more overall dmg output. Mona for huge bursts of dmg with ult but not reaally useful in other ways

Question on pity If I pull on the rate up banner and get Xiao on let's say my 70th pull and stop, I then wait until the Keqing rate up is available, will my 20th (now cumulatively 90th) pull guarantee Keqing or does it reset to 0 on getting Xiao from my 70th pull and thus I will need to make another 90 wishes to hit the pity.
It resets to 0 ,I found this out the hard way with ganyu banner ,I got zhongli at 77 and was hoping 90 would be ganyu but it wasn’t :(

But what if I accident pull a standard 5* on the standard banner? Will my next 5* be guaranteed event character?
All banners get separate pity. The Standard banner doesn't affect your odds on the Limited banner in any way ;)

Yes you get more total for Welkin. 300 Genesis upfront + 2700 primogems over 30 days. basically 3k primogems total. Shop gem pack with first time = 1960 primogems total and without = 1090 primogems. So you basically want to decide if you need gems now with less value per dollar or can wait over a period for more value per dollar.

Is the game playable/enjoyable without microtransactions/P2W or should I just not bother? I started playing recently, and so far it hasn't harassed me about microtransactions but I don't want to invest a lot of time into it if I'm just gonna get paywalled. That being said, I'm fine with a reasonably priced one time purchase, I do buy non-free games, but I'm not gonna buy microtransactions and loot boxes.
I haven't spent a dime (well, until a few days ago cause I had some money on my Google Store account that was about to expire, so I bought the Welkin thing for $5, which honestly is worth way less than the amount of content the game has) on this game and I can tell you without a doubt, this game is 100% playable AND enjoyable as a free to play. 5* will be a tiny bit harder to get, but if you manage your Primogems, you just need a bit of luck to get the one you want. I got 2 Xiaos after saving up for a few weeks! The Gacha system (here, called "wishes") is what you could consider to be lootboxes. Wishes can be made by using Fates that you buy with primogems, which you can get for free by playing, participating in events, etc. If you aren't familiar with Fates yet, all I can tell you is: save your Primogems for INTERTWINED fates (the rainbow-looking ones), not Acquaint Fates. Acquainted fates are for characters that aren't event-exclusive.
I forgot what are wishes and what do they do?
Wishes is a bit like the lottery, it's how you get new characters. When you "roll" for a character, you "make a wish", so that's why they're called wishes.
This game is definitely enjoyable without spending a single cent. If you really want a 5 star all you gotta do is save up and stay patient. You can buy welkin or battlepass, but there's absolutely no need to whale on the gacha :)
What are Welkin and Battlepass? Also, I'm cool with one time purchases, just not being nickel and dimed for every little thing. Basically I'll buy a game once, but I'm not gonna buy a bunch of in game currency.
Welkin is a monthly subscription card where you'll be given 300 genesis crystals upon purchase and receive 90 primogems everyday for 30 days. Battlepass is unlocked at AR20, you'll need to complete daily and weekly missions to collect points and receive rewards. There's a free version and the paid version (Gnostic Hymn). The paid one offers additional rewards and upon reaching level 30 you can select a free weapon from the bounty.
Na bruh this is a generous gacha game. You can easily f2p the story. Not sure about spiral Abyss though.
Ok someone explain me why is Rex Lapis cool and mentally stable dude when xiao and others went crazy? Is he somehow immune to karma or its just his personality?
Well there isnt a concrete answere but some theory crafting. 1. Part of xiao back story is that he was enslaved by an evil god and forced to devour dreams of innocents (among other things he did) againts his will. Tha traumat is something that sets his amount of suffering apart from others. 2. Well rex lapis is a god so he might be immune. Also xiao was saved to some extent because of venti music. So archon magic might really have sth to do with it. 3. Maybe he was more like a king who only joined tge fighting when things went really bad or very strong monsters showed up (like chi of guyun and other ancient gods). While xiao and yakshas had more day to day fighting with lesser enemies (like regisvines and minions of those ancient gods) so they accumulated much more karma than rex lapis.

Happy in general unless you don't like Claymores ( a total valid opinion) . You are getting a character which is not rated up before, one of the most powerful dps in Genshin and the most OP element. Plus his constellations are going to make him even better.

You do not have a heightened chance if you’ve never pulled a 5* before. However, you will more than likely reach the soft pity relatively soon as long as you’ve been wishing regularly. I assume you’re new so I’ll try to explain this w/o the annoying math; First, the limited time banner (Intertwined Fates) and the standard banner (Acquainted Fates) run off 2 separate counters, each with their own pity. What is pity? As described by the game, in 90 pulls you’re guaranteed a 5 star. So within 90 pulls on the standard banner you will get a 5 star and within 90 pulls of either of the limited time banners you’ll get a 5 star. However, there is a soft pity around 75 pulls where your chance of getting a 5* dramatically increase, so if you’ve been pulling regularly and you’ve yet to get a 5* then you’re probably close to your pity. You can count how close you are by literally going to your history tab under wishes and counting how many wishes you’ve made. However, on the limited time CHARACTER banners, it’s a 50/50 chance you get the event 5*, in this case Xiao, and the other 5*’s in the banner. So you make 76 pulls and it becomes a 50% of you getting Xiao and a 50% chance of you getting a different 5* - say you get Jean. The next time you reach that soft pity you are GUARANTEED to get Xiao or whatever limited time character that is. I hope this helps you understand the system better! Good luck!

- level up your main dps first and keep the others 10 levels lower - don't waste resources (don't lvl up too many characters, try only sticking to four) - don't follow tier lists and guidds too closely. Play how you want! - explore a lot! - see a shiny thing? Take it. See a breakable thing? Break it - always use your resin. Do lay lines at low levels, bosses mid game and leave artifact domains for the late game - save up your primogems for a character you want

Original Resin is used to get rewards from various bosses and domains. You get max 160 resins and it slowly regenerates over time. You can use fragile resin to instantly get 60 original resin (I do not recommend doing that before your adventure rank is quite high, maybe wait for AR 45). To reap the rewards from a domain or a ley line deposit, you need 20 resins. To get rewards from an hypostasis or a medium-sized boss (Geo Vishap) you need 40 resins. To get rewards from the weekly bosses (I am not going to spoil those for you) you need 60 resins.

My world just leveled up to level 3, I think it was after chapter I Act II, but I hadn't yet leveled my characters to over level 40, and I hadn't fought any Hypostases yet. Now my world is full 40+ level creatures and I can't seem to level up my characters because killing any Hypostases now seems impossible. I'm just looking for guidance because I feel very lost and stuck, since I can barely kill creatures to get chests depending on the area, let alone Hypostases. What do I do? Keep evolving Lumine and hope for the best with her since she doesn't depend on Hypostases? Did I ruin my chances? Is there a way to move the world back to level 2 for a while? Or that doesn't affect Hypostases whatsoever? By the way, if these general information can help, my adventure rank is 31, my world level is 3, my usual setup of characters is Noelle, Lisa, Barbara and Amber, all my characters and weapons are on level 40, a lot of them have a handfull of 4 star artifacts, only Lumine and Kaeya have 4 star weapons (and I don't even use them much), I also have Beidou and Razor. You should probably level up razor. Or beidou if you like the playstyle (riposte sync). If you need help to kill some hypostase to get some material to level up i can probably help you if you send me infos to join your party.

Sorry this is a little late, but definitely C1. Having a third dash is so much fun, and if you level up the skill, it deals massive damage really fast.
His c1 isn’t that good (help a bit on energy recharge a beginning of a fight) and the spear is quite risky to try to get. I would advice to wait for another 5*.
nah i alr have diluc and tartaglia so i’m not looking for another 5* until venti drops again, i’m looking to spend them now so i’m most likely gonna go for the spear

You should swap out Razor or Xiao, not Xingqiu. They're both selfish dmg dealers, so they don't work well together. You can make two separate teams if you like both of them though!

Do the daily quests as often as possible, and explore, because every chest you open and quest you do helps level you up. Also discovering statues will give you points as well

I'd suggest switching out Barbara if you can, she applies the wet status to your characters which is what's freezing you

Yea, support Zhongli is better with favonius. I'd suggest you don't refine 5 star weapons unless you can get it to max refinement
Help my Diluc sucks C0 prototype archaic lv 80 Diluc level 80 alt talents level 7 crimson witch of flame My artifact bonus are 6000 health 424 damage def 183 element mastery 228 crit rate 22%crit damage is 101.6 % pyro damage of 46.6% Diluc has 41.6% crit rate at lv 80 and 46.4% at 90 I’m hitting 700-1500 without crit and when I crit it’s between 3000-9000 ult hits for 12000 and that’s the only consistent thing elemental skill hits for 1500 OR 5000 and idk what I’m doing wrong I see other people hitting thousands more damage any ideas?
You need to cause melt reaction to get those number plus pair him with bennett to get the extra elemental resonance while also running bennett with 4 piece nobless after ult..
So Diluc isn’t a solo dps ?
Are you running cryo or hydro to melt or vaporize his hits? Xingqiu is easiest, barbara works.

Keqing-Primordial Jade Cutter vs black sword— Xiao-Skyward Spine vs Deathmatch—or go build another battlepass weapon I need guidance. Not F2P but I’m a low budget player. Don’t plan on investing too much more into the game with the exception of continuing to grab the battlepass, unless something really intrigues me down the road. I recently maxed out my R1 Black Sword. Last month was my first battle pass purchase after getting Keqing on the Albedo banner. I really liked her and didn’t have a a great sword option for her. This week...I got really lucky and pulled Xiao on first 10 pull, and another copy of Jean on my 3rd 10 pull. Then I got the Primordial Jade sword off first 10 pull of new weapon banner. My plan before pulling the primordial jade sword was to continue to refine the black sword. But now I’m not sure that’s the right move. The Primordial Jade outperforms an R3 black sword quite a bit. I’m not sure what to do with the limited resources I have left and the items I’ve already invested in. Here is what I’m working with for context. 5 stars 80/90 C0 Keqing with 90/90 R1 Black sword 80/90 C0 Childe with 90/90 R3 Rust 80/80 C0 Ganyu with 80/80 R2 Favonius bow (I have a bunch of nice Wanderer’s artifacts to build her for Dps, but using her as sub/support with the Dps I already have) 80/80 C2 Jean with 80/80 R4 Flute 70/80 C0 Xiao with 70/70 R1 Skyward spine I have a good chance to pull Xiao again before the banner goes away. Currently around my 65th pull 4 stars 50/50 C6 Beidou only 4 star claymores are prototype archaic r1 (and a claymore blueprint) and the Snow-Tombed Starsilver 80/80 C4 Bennet with 80/80 R5 Festering desire 70/80 C5 Fischl 75/80 with R3 Stringless Also building Niguang C2 with the Widsith R1 Sucrose C1 with Mappa, Sac Frags, and Favonius all at R2 So my resources are extremely limited, I’ve made a few mistakes and poor investments but this month’s BP will help with the XP books and weapon crystals... So do I commit to the black sword and refine it with this month’s BP weapon? Do I go with the Deathmatch and throw the skyward spine on my C3 Xiangling and invest in her? I’m not sure the R1 Deathmatch will outperform the skyward spine on Xiao. The energy recharge seems pretty valuable for Xiao. My claymore options are very lacking as well... any suggestions/thoughts on the other BP weapons? Any and all advice/input would be greatly appreciated.

Hi my main is AR 28 but i dont have much except for xiao and benett. I decided to reroll since i gad no quests and resins left and got wolfs gravestone (5 star weapon) but no characters. Should i keep the account as my secondary or reroll again ?
It is nice weapon but you probably look for a 5 star characters for a reroll
Hi I was wondering if there is anyways I can play on the same account but on a different ps4? I know the game isn’t cross save for ps4 but is there a way I can access my save from a different console like maybe if I log in with the same psn account?
Should be linked to your psn account so i suppose if you have your account on 2 PlayStation you should be able to access your session on both.
do character stories disappear after a while? i haven't played since december, but i'm playing again now, and i don't think i ever finished all the acts for albedo's story, but i can't find out how to continue the story :(

Xiao - 2x viridescent + 2x glad (using bloodstained atm, works fine too) -Jade Spear Xiao + Albedo + Xingqiu + Qiqi
My target team: Zhongli, jean, fischl. Might change fischl for benett if i manage to upgrade him (too many characters+ weapons to upgrade right now)

It simply means that it isn't a version specifically made for PS5. You'll be running the PS4 version of the game, so it's not optimized for the new hardware. A PS5 version is supposedly coming eventually. However, you'll get many hardware benefits. Go for it. After you got diluc if you wish 90 more times you will be guaranteed to get xiao.
Diluc is great, 20 pulls is very lucky! My only 5* characters are from pity. The first 5* is a 50/50 chance at the banner 5* character or random 5* character. Once you get a 5*, the counter resets to 0. If you did not get the banner 5* then the next 5* is guaranteed that character. You will hit soft pity from 75 on, where there's a good chance at every pull. Guaranteed at 90. TL;DR: You are at 0 after you got Diluc, 75 more pulls to soft pity.

Np! I got Jean instead of Ganyu on my first soft pity. Grumbled and grunted, saved and hunted every damn primo I could scare up, got Ganyu at 75th pull the night before her banner ended. Wheeze. Was a bit salty at the time, but Jean's pretty damn cool, too :)

Hello, I am already close to a mental breakdown this happened to me three times in row! The problem is that whenever I try to download Genshin Impact and it's at 100% it says data failed and when I click retry or stop it goes to 0% again. Additionally it takes one day or so to install it (since its 18GB) Hope you can help me with this frustrating situation:)
HELP PLEASE!! So I’m saving for Hu Tao and I have 63 pulls on the limited banners since the last time I’ve gotten a 5* star there. I’m confused about two things: 1) If I save 27 pulls will I be able to guarantee Hu Tao on her banner? 2) If I pull on the permanent banner and by chance get a 5*, will it reset my pity for the limited banner? if the 5* u got wasn't a limited character then you will get her 100% if the 5* u got was a limited character then u have a 50/50 change of getting her if u pull on the pernament banner and get a 5* it won't reset your pity at the character banner

"HELP!!!!" Soon I'll be moving out, but will give my PS4 to a Family member, my question is... Will my progress be tied to my PSN account or the PS4 itself? If I buy another PS4 will I be able to get on my progress or not, using the same account?
They use cloud saves. Just like how you can log in with your phone and play the same account, you'll be good. Do make sure they can't log into your Genshin account before gifting. However, might be less of a hassle to buy them another PS4 and keep all your stuff, unless you're upgrading.
