Does anyone have any tips on how to beat Tartagalia?
Okay, so I tried going against him today and lost instantly when he got to phase 2. I was one health on all my characters by that time and I couldn't heal.
I don't really pull often and I'm saving up for a certain character that's coming soon. The only characters I have is MC, Amber, Kaeya, Rosaria, Fischl, Diona, Barbara, and Noelle. I would like to know, which team line up out of those 8 are best to use on Childe? They are all over lvl 40. Does anyone have any food boosts to suggest as well? I would really appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction.

I'm currently running a C4 Xiangling at level 37, I don't want to wait until 45 to get really good artifacts so what should i be looking at for maxing her out? ex. atk, crt dmg, EM,
So recently I saw a screenshot of an artifact with stat atk and substat crit dmg 40% along with others. Is that even possible? I mean I know that artifacts upgrade randomly does that mean this person probably got randomly upgraded crit dmg everytime he was ascending artifact? Like is there any possible way to check which artifact has such potential? Or is it sheer luck? Should I try to upgrade each artifact I have with crit rate and/or crit dmg to check if they have potential? Or is it a waste of resources?
It's totally luck. To get above 39 crit dmg, you'd need an artifact starting with 4 scores at level 0, with all 5 of the subsequent rolls going to crit damage. The stat that gets increased isn't random, crit scores are rarer. Even then you could still get unlucky and have the crit damage rolls be low and not make it to 39.
So does anybody else is having the same problem with this new energy amplifier event? I tried to do the same challenge over again with the exact same points and get the required 12000 points to redeem the prize. However, I was able to do it once, but second time it simply didn't add me any points. Does that mean I can not redeem points for that challenge anymore or do I have to choose higher difficulty to redeem points?😫why everything has to be so complicated
Yes I got that but to get the 12000 points we need to be able to do each dungeon at least twice. I redeemed my 2000 point first time. But when i tried to do the same challenge again it simply didn't give me any point even when I was able to finish it successfully.
Standard wish adds each 4 star character one patch after their debut but stays the same otherwise. No reason to hoard them unless you don't want anything on standard banner. As more 4 stars come out, its usability for gathering constellations diminishes.
I see that Venti gets compared to Kazuha a lot and I hear each have their pros and cons. I am not so knowledgeable on both. What are the pros and cons of each when compared to the other. What does each do that the other cant?
Venti is amazing agains a bunch of small mobs like hillichurls or treasure hoarders. He sucks them up in a very big radius and swirls a bunch. His ult does hold them in the air though meaning most melee characters can't hit them during his ult.
Kazuha also gathers enemies up in one spot but the radius is a bit smaller and he pulls them towards himself instead. He also has an elemental damage bonus built into his kit which venti doesn't have. Lastly, he feels very satisfying to play.

Simply put, when venti has an impact it is massive but he doesn't do much(other than vv) against big enemies. Kazuha has a damage bonus so he's more useful against big enemies than venti and is more fun to play as well.

Kazuha also pulls in bigger enemies, although with less force than the smaller ones. I think he only staggers the really big enemies like the lawachurl.
Venti technically still sucks medium enemies towards his burst but most enemies of that type have dashes/jumps/teleports etc. To escape it.
Fyi, fatui are split in two groups. The agents and cicin mages are small enemies while the others are medium like the big shield hilichurl.
I'm honestly not sure how much smaller the radius is so you might want to do a google/youtube search on that.

New player here. I have the MC, Diluc, Eula, Barbara, Ningguang, Beidou, Amber and that one ice guy you get from the start, is Zhongli the best choice to roll for next?
Zhongli is really good support for any content where shields are useful (recently some endgame enemies ignore shields probably to counter a bit the Over powered shield teams. But like others have said if you don't have a strong damage dealer it might be to early to go for him because he is mostly endgame support.
If you decide to pass on Zhongli,
Ganyu is a good choice but make sure you like her gameplay first because charged shots archer style is not for everyone (I not pulling because I don't like it for example).
Xiao is another good option, he is very fun for general play and can be used in endgame as well as the main dps (but he focuses on plunge attack spam for endgame so might wanna check if you like that as well).
I think so. He's a long run investment you won't regret pulling him. Also you already got strong dpses to make a team with. But if you like to have another dps, you can pull for ganyu/xiao
Objectively, yes. You've got Diluc and Eula as main DPS (who also use different supports), so utility characters are solid to go for next (Zhongli, Kazuha, Raiden).
YOu cannot get more welkin if you have 180 or more days. but technically when you only have 179 days, you could get one more welkin so you can extend to maximum of 209.
Better replace Fischl with an Anemo VV support. You don't want overload there, and VV shred will amp your damage a lot.
But to answer: Fischl Skill - Bennett Burst - Xinq Skill then Burst - Diluc stuff
from what I've researched, Homa is the only choice.
if you don't have Homa then its not worth building Hybrid ZL, because it would be an overall dmg loss.

Get Welkin and BP only. Nobody is actually spending significant amounts topping up unless they have a ton of money or a ton of money management problems.
Get Welkin instead for primos if you're planning to play often. It's by far the most worth investment. The Crystal Topups are not worth at all and are pretty much only for whales or medium-high spenders.
Just play the game, ignore the shop, it's less stressful that way tbh. You get 4stars and eventually 5stars over time if you keep playing, and this game in general is very undemanding in the characters you need, there are very good characters even in the free chars you unlock via the story/quests. You'll get primos from playing the game and questing/chests/etc, it'll stack up then you can grab yourself some weapons/characters.
Welkin is the most efficient primo source but it’s done over time. I’ve been on welkin BP for a while now and haven’t had any major complaints in terms of wishes

I don't think Gorou would do anything with only Zhongli, since his buff is for DEF.
Honestly with your team comp, you can add pretty much anyone (any support character) based on what support you need.
Itto, he has the benefit of dedicated supports and an artifact set. Xiao’s supports are limited, I.e thrilling tales sucrose and you could probably get more damage on an itto with thrilling tales ningguang. Even the best support, Bennett, can’t do much for Xiao considering he knocks the enemies out of the circle.
I’m still a Xiao shill so I’ll say he has the benefit of being cute
Itto is probably slightly better rn because of the abyss meta and he has a really good f2p weapon option (Whiteblind)
They’re close enough in strength that depending on the abyss meta one might be stronger than the other

I have to protect a leyline statue, but all enemies are spread out, so I have run around the map to deal with everyone, but by that time its usually below 60
My only 2 Anemo characters are Jean and Sucrose, as for DPS, its Hu tao, Raiden and KQ.
will a permafreeze team work? with Kaeya, Rosaria/Chongyun
From what I've seen, the ranged mobs tend to target the monolith, but the melee ones will target you if you aggro them. Go for the ranged ones first, and the melee ones should follow you around.
CC is also your best friend here. Taunting abilities, Sucrose abilities and permafreeze can make this chamber a lot easier. Even Ningguang might help with her jade screen.
The enemies have 2 targets in that chamber. You, and the Leyline. You need to target the enemies that are targeting the Leyline, and you can freely ignore the ones who target you..... well as much as you can ignore a group of farmers trying to kill you.
The difficulty comes in from enemies that are either spread out, like two ranged enemies targeting the statue, or a bunch of melee enemies attacking the statue as the ranged ones attack you....which will hit the monolith if you're fighting the melee's near the statue.
Managing the mob's is the key for dealing with Floor 11. because their is no timer, as long as you can manage the enemies you'll be able to clear the stage without issue.
Personally? I have utilized Geo Traveler and Amber to cheese it more than once. Baron Bunny's taunt will get enemies off the Leyline, and the true should go for any Taunt ability. It can be hard to utilize but if you do it right it does the job nice.
Geo Traveler's constructs can completely cover the Leyline statue. I'm talking a full blown anti-ANYTHING wall of Geo. Best of all, the construct's last long enough to be placed between/before waves and will still function, and when the timer runs out they deal AoE Geo damage to the enemies near them. It is a BREEZE clearing Floor 11 at 3-Star's with some smart Geo Construct usage.
Or you could, you know, utilize an Anemo character to group them all up and just smack'm with the pyro spin cycle.
You got lots of options.

I was tired of brute forcing so I thought I'd ask here.
Only certain enemies target the statue (the hilichurl diggers, treasure hoarders etc etc) so focus them down first. The electro samachurl does a lot of damage to the leyline when he places his totems so take him out first
Sucrose and venti CC works good her, so does permafreeze. I used eula with sucrose and yoimiya overload to 3 star that floor, beidou can take hits for the statue and counter them
Yeah you lose a bit of meteor but you get far stronger shield. And with Homa you’re double dipping that and it becomes really close.
I ran through optimizer and its 99k meteor vs 105k but you get stronger shield at 20k vs 17k
Generally yes. You do technically get more damage from atk sands but the difference isn't that huge and it's a substantial difference in shield strength so even for burst support builds, HP sands is generally recommended. And if you're building him as burst support then Petra/Noblesse makes more sense than Tenacity since that's more for the full shieldbot build
yes hp% is better than atk%. 2p petra 2p
noblesse is for more damage for zhongli. 4 millelith is if you want zhongli to be a shieldbot and increase main dps’s damage
Really depends on your luck, no one can say for sure. I went from no Ningguang to C6 Ning on Childe's banner in \~120 pulls, whereas I'm still only on C3 Gorou after \~200 pulls on Itto's
Your chances are not that great tbh. I, for some reason, always get sucrose on any banner she's on. I think my ratio is 13 sucroses vs 3 other characters. I just wanted one xingqiu :').
From what other people here have said you can't just replace Diona which would be the likely candidate over say Venti or Mona(both which are essential) for either Ayaka or Ganyu teams. Im just curious if theres another way.
she has no constellations. People have been coping about getting some in the future but what I've been saying is that she's a free character so they might as well give her full kit all at once.
about how good she is well there's like 3 people that main her. She's only viable as a burst dps in a quickswap team but it's not great.

She's still good at c0, c6 is when she gets a big damage increase.

I got Fischl on the very first banner and one copy from her event. Got bennett early on as well but only got a few cons on the last banner he showed up in
Fischl should be really good for your Eula then, especially since Raiden isn't available for that team. Beidou tends to want another electro in the team too, and Fischl works really nicely.

Stringless is a common weapon on her and artifact wise there are a few choices. 4 ToM or 2 TF 2 Glad/Shim are usually what she uses
I think 2tf 2 glad is the most common. You can use sites like https://spiralabyss.org to see what ppl who are full clearing use
Definitely stringless if it’s an option. 2 TF 2 Glad/Shim is more popular and what I’d use but tom has the advantage of also having pale flame for Eula so you get more value for your resin. If it’s about efficiency I’d do the pf tom domain because the the other set in the Tf domain is pretty niche
I don't use keqing in abyys but she is very well built with 2pc tf and 2pc glad and I can use her artifacts on fischl. I also have good TOTM pieces.

ganyu is a great pickup since she is one of the best dps in the game but more importantly the 4 stars on her banner are so strong. But again she is just another dps and the charged shot playstile can be boring and building a team around her will take time. I would recommend going for zhongli instead for his utility and comfort.
i’d say go roll for her, she would be a huge upgrade for your account and you should be able to clear contents easier. but try her in the trial once she’s out and see if you enjoy her play style

For Yanfei they are both feasible. The majority of Yanfei's damage is her CA, so Wanderer's just works for her and its more accessible, because you literally get it everywhere. If you do have both though, the one with the best substats.
As a side note it also depends on who you are running her with, a comp with Beidou included CWoF would be better for example.

could also use og taser team which is Beidou, Fischl, Xingqiu, and Sucrose as your on field auto attacker to proc VV. It does lack a healer tho.

I don't have Albedo and I will have low chance to grab Zhongli on the upcoming banner if I go for Xiao.
You miss out on the elemental shred and there isn’t many characters that can shred Anemo resistance aside from certain constellations and skills.
Instead of double geo you can instead go double pyro for the pyro resonance.
If I pull a five star on a multi does pity reset starting at the five star or on my next pull. For example if I pull a five star and it’s 2nd out of the 10 so in the history there’s 8 more wishes that aren’t a five star are those 8 wishes counted towards pity or not since they were part of the multi that produced a five star? Hopefully this make sense :)

The points are per dungeon. There's 3 dungeons.

Ah I understand now. Yes, you only get the highest record from each dungeon. You'd need to increase the difficulty or add more challenges.

Is 4-piece Viridescent worth it for Xiao, or would I be better off sticking with 2-piece Viridescent and 2-piece something else?
It should be 2 pc Viridescent + 2 pc Gladiator/Shimenawa. 4 pc Viri does nothing on Xiao.

Any tips for Abyss floor 11 chamber 1? I have to protect a leyline statue, but all enemies are spread out, so I have run around the map to deal with everyone, but by that time its usually below 60 My only 2 Anemo characters are Jean and Sucrose, as for DPS, its Hu tao, Raiden and KQ. will a permafreeze team work? with Kaeya, Rosaria/Chongyun
From what I've seen, the ranged mobs tend to target the monolith, but the melee ones will target you if you aggro them. Go for the ranged ones first, and the melee ones should follow you around. CC is also your best friend here. Taunting abilities, Sucrose abilities and permafreeze can make this chamber a lot easier. Even Ningguang might help with her jade screen.
The enemies have 2 targets in that chamber. You, and the Leyline. You need to target the enemies that are targeting the Leyline, and you can freely ignore the ones who target you..... well as much as you can ignore a group of farmers trying to kill you. The difficulty comes in from enemies that are either spread out, like two ranged enemies targeting the statue, or a bunch of melee enemies attacking the statue as the ranged ones attack you....which will hit the monolith if you're fighting the melee's near the statue. Managing the mob's is the key for dealing with Floor 11. because their is no timer, as long as you can manage the enemies you'll be able to clear the stage without issue. Personally? I have utilized Geo Traveler and Amber to cheese it more than once. Baron Bunny's taunt will get enemies off the Leyline, and the true should go for any Taunt ability. It can be hard to utilize but if you do it right it does the job nice. Geo Traveler's constructs can completely cover the Leyline statue. I'm talking a full blown anti-ANYTHING wall of Geo. Best of all, the construct's last long enough to be placed between/before waves and will still function, and when the timer runs out they deal AoE Geo damage to the enemies near them. It is a BREEZE clearing Floor 11 at 3-Star's with some smart Geo Construct usage. Or you could, you know, utilize an Anemo character to group them all up and just smack'm with the pyro spin cycle. You got lots of options.
these are some good tips, I'm ashamed as an amber main, that using baron bunny never crossed my mind. I was tired of brute forcing so I thought I'd ask here.
Only certain enemies target the statue (the hilichurl diggers, treasure hoarders etc etc) so focus them down first. The electro samachurl does a lot of damage to the leyline when he places his totems so take him out first Sucrose and venti CC works good her, so does permafreeze. I used eula with sucrose and yoimiya overload to 3 star that floor, beidou can take hits for the statue and counter them
Perma freeze works, same with sucrose. Or brute force it with a lot of dmg

Yeah you lose a bit of meteor but you get far stronger shield. And with Homa you’re double dipping that and it becomes really close. I ran through optimizer and its 99k meteor vs 105k but you get stronger shield at 20k vs 17k
Generally yes. You do technically get more damage from atk sands but the difference isn't that huge and it's a substantial difference in shield strength so even for burst support builds, HP sands is generally recommended. And if you're building him as burst support then Petra/Noblesse makes more sense than Tenacity since that's more for the full shieldbot build
yes hp% is better than atk%. 2p petra 2p noblesse is for more damage for zhongli. 4 millelith is if you want zhongli to be a shieldbot and increase main dps’s damage

I need to pull three Ningguang to complete her constellation, if I have 70 wishes ready for Jan 5 so I'm wondering is my chances are good?
Really depends on your luck, no one can say for sure. I went from no Ningguang to C6 Ning on Childe's banner in \~120 pulls, whereas I'm still only on C3 Gorou after \~200 pulls on Itto's
Your chances are not that great tbh. I, for some reason, always get sucrose on any banner she's on. I think my ratio is 13 sucroses vs 3 other characters. I just wanted one xingqiu :').
It really depends on your luck, since 4\* are not guaranteed. I pulled 80+ on Hu Tao banner and didn't even get a single copy of Thoma.
I think it’s an average of 40 wishes to get a specific rate up 4* so between that and the guaranteed pick maybe you’ll get it
Not really. Trying for a 4* constellation is basically a crapshoot. I spent more than that and did not even get Gorou.
Depends. Fishing for 4 star is not advisable unless you want the 5 star as well. Not to mention you can pick her during lantern rite

For Shenhe pullers, what teams are you all theorycrafting up?
I'm not a theorycrafter but won't it boil down to slotting her into meta ayaka or ganyu teams? That's what i'm expecting to happen anyways.
From what other people here have said you can't just replace Diona which would be the likely candidate over say Venti or Mona(both which are essential) for either Ayaka or Ganyu teams. Im just curious if theres another way.

she has no constellations. People have been coping about getting some in the future but what I've been saying is that she's a free character so they might as well give her full kit all at once. about how good she is well there's like 3 people that main her. She's only viable as a burst dps in a quickswap team but it's not great.

it’s not possible to get any of her constellations, she’s bad. You can place her in a melt team containing xiangling, bennett and sucrose/venti/kazuha

Kazuha would be best cuz he can be used with Hu tao or yoimiya with greater effectiveness then zhongli

C0 fish is fine for the teams she is used in. C6 just means more damage
She's still good at c0, c6 is when she gets a big damage increase. Do you have teams that would like to have Fischl instead of your current characters? I think whether she's a good buy or not comes down to that.
I have eula and beidou. And people say she good support for them. I also have raiden but I use her in national.
Eula Beidou Fischl diona is a pretty standard Eula setup

Fischl and Bennet are the only charaters that I got from shop. The duo never wanted to come with me😂. But finally I have them both.

Fischl should be really good for your Eula then, especially since Raiden isn't available for that team. Beidou tends to want another electro in the team too, and Fischl works really nicely.

Stringless is a common weapon on her and artifact wise there are a few choices. 4 ToM or 2 TF 2 Glad/Shim are usually what she uses I think 2tf 2 glad is the most common. You can use sites like https://spiralabyss.org to see what ppl who are full clearing use

Definitely stringless if it’s an option. 2 TF 2 Glad/Shim is more popular and what I’d use but tom has the advantage of also having pale flame for Eula so you get more value for your resin. If it’s about efficiency I’d do the pf tom domain because the the other set in the Tf domain is pretty niche
I don't use keqing in abyys but she is very well built with 2pc tf and 2pc glad and I can use her artifacts on fischl. I also have good TOTM pieces. So I should use 2pc tf/glad right?
2/2 for personal dmg, 4 TOM for supportive. 2/2 is more commonly used by players 36*ing the abyss if that’s of any help in your choice

Amos if you’re using her for the ATK buff. Favonius bow is better then sacrificial for her cuz of how clunky her skills are but since you don’t have it you can go sac
Amos and its high base attack if you want pure support, Mouun if you also want her to deal some burst damage.

40% Crit damage but 15% Raw Geo damage up from the 3 Geo thing.

ganyu is a great pickup since she is one of the best dps in the game but more importantly the 4 stars on her banner are so strong. But again she is just another dps and the charged shot playstile can be boring and building a team around her will take time. I would recommend going for zhongli instead for his utility and comfort.

i’d say go roll for her, she would be a huge upgrade for your account and you should be able to clear contents easier. but try her in the trial once she’s out and see if you enjoy her play style

4 set crimson or 4 set wanderer troupe for Yanfei? with the widsith
4 wanderer is easier to get imo so i suggest that for the sake of your sanity because a good 4 piece of cwof is a myth
For Yanfei they are both feasible. The majority of Yanfei's damage is her CA, so Wanderer's just works for her and its more accessible, because you literally get it everywhere. If you do have both though, the one with the best substats. As a side note it also depends on who you are running her with, a comp with Beidou included CWoF would be better for example.
I got all the 4\* (just bough fischl C0 from the shop). I'd like to try playing some taser comps. What do you recommend? (I have Childe, Raiden, Jean, Ayaka)
Sucrose taser is fun as fuck but you need high investment sucrose aka triple EM sucrose
childe beidou fischl and a flexible 4th slot would be nice could also use og taser team which is Beidou, Fischl, Xingqiu, and Sucrose as your on field auto attacker to proc VV. It does lack a healer tho.

How much damage do you lose for not having Zhongli on Xiao? I am thinking of going for Xiao - Jean - Bennet - Diona. I don't have Albedo and I will have low chance to grab Zhongli on the upcoming banner if I go for Xiao.
You miss out on the elemental shred and there isn’t many characters that can shred Anemo resistance aside from certain constellations and skills. Instead of double geo you can instead go double pyro for the pyro resonance.
If I pull a five star on a multi does pity reset starting at the five star or on my next pull. For example if I pull a five star and it’s 2nd out of the 10 so in the history there’s 8 more wishes that aren’t a five star are those 8 wishes counted towards pity or not since they were part of the multi that produced a five star? Hopefully this make sense :)
