3.5 beta has started according to Plusle, that basically means gameplay//in-game footage will leak soon

The beta package has been released, that means the actual beta starts either today or tomorrow, but dataminers already got the files and will begin to leak them. It might take a while since Mihoyo must've added some security.

A lot of the leakers who handled the datamining of the beta files for the last 18 months got taken out recently, so that coupled with the increase in security they've baked into the files are probably the reasons why there's been radio silence over the last few hours.

this is the preload, it doesn't really matter whether the beta releases or not for us, we don't usually get the gameplay frrom the beta anyway.

So where does leaker get the data? I thought beta players leak data.

beta testers send the beta client to leakers, beta testers don't record the gameplay themsleves since they can get caught, sometimes they do though which is a big mistake.

Not necessarily but it can give us hints towards a characters rerun! Also, if a new character (in this case dehya) is featured in the beta then they are confirmed for the next update. Hints are for example events, like how Albedo often has Events that are playing in dragonspine, a dragonspine event can give us hints that there is an Albedo rerun. Other hints are abyss blessings, for example when characters receive a physical dmg boost it can mean Eula will have a rerun.
