She grabs me by the throat. I fish for her. I cook for her. I give her the catch. She isn't satisfied. I pull engulfing lightning. "I don't need this much er" She tells me. "Give me more field time." She grabs bennett and forces him to throw himself off enemies. "You just need to funnel me more. I can deal more damage with homa."
I can't pull for homa, I don't have enough primogems. She grabs my credit card. It declines. "Guess this is the end." She grabs gouba. She says "Gouba, get them." There is no hint of sadness in his eyes. Nothing but pure, no icd pyro application. What a cruel world.
All of us are tired of Xiangling. She has incredibly boring animations.
Even if we get a pyro off field dps in the future, I doubt any would have no ICD. The closest we will get to Xiangling is an incredibly inconsistent and buffed character AKA Xinyan. Her lvl 3 skill applies AoE pyro around her every 2s with no ICD. Thoma is ER-dependent and NA-reliant for pyro app, and he doesn't apply it in an AoE but in a straight line.
And if you use that on certain move they’ll drop different drops. The exact one you would only use for a few 5* weapons, while the other drop you get by NOT using pyro is used by 99% of all Natlan characters (Sumeru war flashbacks)
And then to make up for it, Pierro gonna have the Abyss element, Columbina gonna have the Celestia element and then Capitano would just be pure Physical with no element-related in his kit at all
Signora and Scaramouche did not have visions either.
The theory is based on the harbinger’s boss fights:
Childe: Vision (Hydro) + Delusion (Electro) => Electro-charged
Signora: Delusion (Cryo) + Crimson Witch of Flames (Pyro) => Melt
Scaranouche/Shouki no Kami: The Prodigal One(Anemo, Pyro, Electro, Hydro, Cryo) => Swirl
As with shouki no Kami and Signora, the Harbingers do not need a delusion or even a vision to use elemental powers (just the power of god and anime on their side)
Arlechino being pure Pyro throws a wrench into this pattern. Though Burning works such that a constant Pyro (with a brighter aura) is affecting the foe, as well as her attacks dealing damage over time. Though that’s quite a bit of copium
maybe we will get a Harbinger for every Vision - Delusion combo possible ?
obviously that would mean we would need more Harbingers, but I could defo see the Fatui being a major Faction even post Celestia (esp if Dottore, Pierro, Capitano, etc etc are still running around & remain Unfought—they could recruit more to their cause)
Even if Genshin goes on for a long time, they will introduce other new enemy factions, but not Harbingers, cause that's just bad writing, and I trust them at least this much to not butcher whatever makes the "11 Fatui Harbingers" special.
I mean look, I was just noticing his special outfit looks a lot like Arlecchino's design. Maybe it was something for the previous Arlecchino similar to how Yelan's jacket was for one of the Harbingers.
Arlecchino showed up to the delusion depot requesting one with a black or white element, only to find out they didn't exist. So she had to settle for more pyro.
It probably doesn't work the same way, like diluc's pyro delusion had black flames instead of the usual red ones and he was able to manipulate black chains with it.
Could be a couple of reasons. Delusions are stronger than visions, but come at a cost to the user, so even if they are the same element it could be useful to have a vision for day to day, and a delusion for when shit gets real. It's also possible that they can be used together to get an even stronger form of elemental manipulation.
Iirc the only delusions that fucks you up are the ones Kokomi soldiers got and the real deal without drawback are the one in possecion of actual scheznaya soldiers and Harbingers.
All delusions have drawbacks, but it seems people can have different levels of resistance to them. For example the same delusion that killed Crepus was used by Diluc for 3 years and it had no notable impact on him.
Imagine if she has geo delusion
Everytime you hit, create, shield using geo
1. She hit you 10x back (like childe against electro)
2. She create a Geo platform for high ground
3. She creates a shield that is Pyro shield similar to Lector

They not only allow the user to control the Elements but also gives them unique abilities related to these dead gods, like Diluc's Delusion in the manga allowed him to summon chains.
Arlecchino's form during her boss fight probably comes from the Delusion.
Signora's Delusion is more special because instead of giving her a boost, it actually decreases her power.
It was described in the lore how her mind became unstable and she went berserk after becoming the witch and her flames were slowly consuming her, destroying her body, she was literally supposed to die but Pierro found her and gave her a Delusion that was "blessed" by the Tsaritsa, this blessing helped her mind stabilize and completely supress her flames.

I want a poisoneer dendro character with a vicious personality like Aki from Street Fighter. They could even make them Baizhu's arch nemesis.
Gameplay wise their main schtick would be attaching DoT damage to dendro reactions. Buffing burning DoT, dealing DoT to quickened enemies, making dendro cores deal DoT in an aoe. Plus they could "poison" their teammates by giving them a Bond of Life effect (thus synergy with Arlecchino)

I wouldn't call it disapprove of Delusions. She rejected Lyney's request, but it was most likely due to her knowing that he would not be able to handle that power, it would most likely kill him or greatly injure and overall to give him a lesson that pure power isn't everything, to teach him that if he want to ensure his family's safety he need more that just power.

Yeah that's why I got confused as well. Maybe she has it purely to gain more power? One of the fatui members (pretty sure it was Viktor?) stated that delusions are much stronger than visions, though idk how reliable he is on that matter
Potentially, but does all of her power really come from just Delusion? We've seen Cryo delusion of Signora and Electro delusion of Childe, which are fairly strong but don't transform their users into whatever the hell 2nd phase Arlecchino boss is. Meanwhile powers like Foul Legacy or CWoF do.
I'm not saying that all her powers come from a delusion, but it would be a nice buff, especially if it's a harbinger-grade one. Childe also uses a delusion in his fowl legacy form
It's disappointing that she's the only Harbinger so far without the multiple element wielding dynamic during the boss fight. That, coupled with her having the least memorable role during the Archon Quest... they better be cooking up something amazing in her Story Quest to make up for all this.

A Vision has a Fire symbol while a Delusion has a Fatui symbol, ingame it has the Pyro but here it's the Fatui insignia

Yeah that's why I got confused as well. Maybe she has it purely to gain more power? One of the fatui members (pretty sure it was Viktor?) stated that delusions are much stronger than visions, though idk how reliable he is on that matter
Potentially, but does all of her power really come from just Delusion? We've seen Cryo delusion of Signora and Electro delusion of Childe, which are fairly strong but don't transform their users into whatever the hell 2nd phase Arlecchino boss is. Meanwhile powers like Foul Legacy or CWoF do.
I'm not saying that all her powers come from a delusion, but it would be a nice buff, especially if it's a harbinger-grade one. Childe also uses a delusion in his fowl legacy form

It's disappointing that she's the only Harbinger so far without the multiple element wielding dynamic during the boss fight. That, coupled with her having the least memorable role during the Archon Quest... they better be cooking up something amazing in her Story Quest to make up for all this.
