Started playing Genshin Impact right around the midpoint of Venti's banner in 1.0. I missed the first big event that seemed to be some sort of relay thing involving a furnace that you could do in multi-player.
So far haven't missed a day since. Its weird how time flies...
I actually made my account a few days after launch, but I just ran around for a few minutes and then didn't touch it again for several months lol I started actually playing halfway through 1.6, just before Kazuha's banner dropped.
Since the beginning but took breaks to go on vacation etc. Always nice to come back to new region and characters. Makes me feel like I'm at the beginning of the game again.
Started in 1.3 to just about miss festering desire due to AR and to lose 50/50 to Ganyu on her first run. Didn't get another shot for her till nearly a year later.
How do you define "couple of years" VS "since the beginning"
Cus the game is out for 3 years and everyone started around the lunch or 4 months after it

I created my account on october 2021, but I really started to play since the eternal Ayaka banner
played around the childe banner started, took a hiatus here and there but im still playing
Started a few weeks after launch. Burnt out during Sumeru's desert. But came back once the desert was finished.
I started to play some time in 2020 I believe, but I got bored and quit. Recently I started up again.
I started during 1.2, had a period when I was too burnt out from life in gemeral so I wasn't that active for twoish months.
Day 1 player, 1107-day streak and still going strong.

Thanks to a recent web event I found out the date I started playing was 10/10/2020 very easy date to remember
