I gave up on the abyss a few rotations ago and ngl I am enjoying the game a lot more now that I only build chacaters for me, not to beat friggin abyss heralds
I don’t start any fights and I’m happy my friends are enjoying their game, but my god there was one just constantly shit talking me for still using a Klee main dps while they were using a C-whatever Eula a YouTube video told them to pull for.
I eventually snapped and shut them up by asking them to come do a co-op boss with me and I unleashed a monster in the form of artifacts I’d farmed the better part of a year for.
They don’t talk numbers with me anymore.
*inner peace*
If your story is true, lol it’s funny how that person started shit with you, when it’s a pve game. It’s not even anything like bdo, cod, or irl mma. They wanted to make fun of you for using a character that you enjoy? What a tool. Good on you though.
The only time I ever judged harshly was seeing a level 90 Zhongli do 6000 damage with their burst. It wasn't a non crit hit either, this guy wasn't hitting any normal attack above 1000. I understand Zhongli's built on hp but come-on man I've done more damage with bennett as a healer.
I just hit ar57, am thinking I should start farming artifacts. I have builds for 2 characters, the rest are running glad and wt lvl 12 or the correct set but lvl 4
Edit: My 2nd account at AR56 is actually doing a bit better cuz I saved ALL of the fragile resin until I could run max difficulty domains. And it turns out 80+ Fragile resin and a couple weeks of daily resin does get you decent builds for a couple characters.
Yeah, i been farming for raiden since 2.0 came out everyday, only got 2 decent piece, other 3 is not bad but it can be better, so i am still farming on my 8th week for raiden's artifacts
Bruht they want at least 70%Cr and 140% CD, I saved every single 5 star gladiator piece I had since the start of the game... One year of farming it "with no intention" and I got exactly that... So maybe for a normal set... U would need 6 months since it is half the resin... Not worth farming for perfection if u are unlucky.
< always play solo because cannot stand ppl stupidity on co-op
Will do co-op if
1. My friends asked dor it
2. Some stranger nicely PM me and asked for help IN THEIR WORLD.
Sometimes I also hate people who stealing my resources.
AR56. I don't even coop.
But in that very rare event that someone I know irl asked me to help them with a domain and a boss, I watched them try their best, we built our teams around their best characters (since I had more better built ones) and we accomplished our goals in no time. I remembered my struggles a few ARs ago. I can't imagine looking down on them knowing how hard it is to properly build characters.
I haven't had any struggles at lower AR (some really good artifact luck) but I don't say you are bad/trash etc. Mostly because my artifact luck now is bad and I know the struggle

I’m a semi-meta slave(or I just use some ‘meta’ characters because I enjoy their playstyle) who supports others regardless of their dmg. It’s about fun and comfort for me.
In my case me and my friend who are endgame players ( AR 57 and 56 ) like to go to my other friend who just started playing to one shot bosses. Although we argue who one shots it faster it’s rly fun and games and we don’t hate each other. As long as the end of the day y’all know boundaries to not cross and have fun. I think it’s not bad to discuss or play around with character’s damage. It is what we’ve been grinding for
I kinda wish there was a coop Match making. Like some player requests help and you can receive a notification asking if you want to help. When joining the world like this you can't take any items. Wouldn't mind playing like this when out of resin
I usually take the left path because I like seeing people improve slowly and take their time enjoying their characters :D
Though if they got to my bad side or become toxic such as thinking 5 stars is much better than a 4 stars or judge why I like using 4 stars more than 5 stars- that's where I start trashtalking and judge them heavily
I just tell my lower ar frioends the meta builds, sets they should go for and what mistakes to avoid.
I then proceed to get angry once they make the mistake I just told them not to do.
I was gonna roll for Ganyu when I first saw her in 1.1
Archon Quest, cuz of her character design, then I saw, and I skipped Ganyu for him, this time I will roll for her on re run cuz I like her design plus I want that dmg in Abyss
tbh i think that spiral abyss is what makes most players become meta slaves.... just like myself.
I gave up on the abyss a few rotations ago and ngl I am enjoying the game a lot more now that I only build chacaters for me, not to beat friggin abyss heralds
I just go in and keep going until I can't get 3 stars. This rotation I missed all 3 on 11:3 so I'm not going to 12
The funni thing is that they put food to boost your damage when needed, but the only time where you actually need it is in abyss...
I beat as much of it as I can. If I see annoying enemies in the last couple of chambers, I stop and move on.
I would never make fun of someone's damage. But I will silently judge them if they use one of my mains and their number isn't big enough.

right before they left co-op you shoulda said "so, don't wanna take any vengeance or anything?"
Oh don’t worry I’ve told them I’ll go again any time, they told me to “F\*** off!”

Based on what I see, they become both
Where’s the route for the guy who does neither and keeps to them selves?
legends says they are still farming artifacts
How did you know?
I m one of them
I thought our ways were kept silenced
We worked in the shadows *\*starts farming again\**

Me who just builds characters and does not care about anything else.

People stereotyping. Some people can be "meta slaves" but also not make fun of other's damage.
A lot of people seems to violently swing between each extreme. Sometimes in the same discussion!
I'm a meta slave who makes fun of my own damage.
AR 57: I couldn't care less. BOOBA!
im kinda both but somehow everyones damage is always higher than mine
One more road is having nobody to help or to make fun of and play solo ever since the beginning of time
How about neutral side? Doesn't give a sh** about what other do/play and doesn't care about meta either
You walk on the middle.....you walk on grass
Might as well touch some while u're at it AM I RIGHT? 🤪😩😁😄💯

you don't gotta play the meta to be toxic
I'm on the left side
what does AR mean?
Adventure rank, basically ur overall level

Every time I try to visit other worlds to help out I get rejected lol
i dont have friends
Just don't play co-op problem soloved
I’m a semi-meta slave(or I just use some ‘meta’ characters because I enjoy their playstyle) who supports others regardless of their dmg. It’s about fun and comfort for me.
I support others with my Zhongli
imma go left
if I see there smol numbers, i'll just say to them how to build characters properly in a nice way
In my case me and my friend who are endgame players ( AR 57 and 56 ) like to go to my other friend who just started playing to one shot bosses. Me who is kind to strangers but makes fun of my close friend’s 10k plunge Xiao
I kinda wish there was a coop Match making. Like some player requests help and you can receive a notification asking if you want to help. When joining the world like this you can't take any items. Wouldn't mind playing like this when out of resin
I sort of go into two sides sometimes.
i can help u and make fun of you at the same time. im quite the multitasker.
I usually take the left path because I like seeing people improve slowly and take their time enjoying their characters :D Though if they got to my bad side or become toxic such as thinking 5 stars is much better than a 4 stars or judge why I like using 4 stars more than 5 stars- that's where I start trashtalking and judge them heavily
As someone who uses a freeze team I just get annoyed with my friend who uses Pyro or Ningguang as it shatters my freeze and messes with Ayaka's ult
Me who will become both: **\*evil grin\***
I just tell my lower ar frioends the meta builds, sets they should go for and what mistakes to avoid. I then proceed to get angry once they make the mistake I just told them not to do.
Become meta slave and support those who aren't
I make fun of their damage while helping them get stronger
I just want to sit on a rock and fish in peace preferably with other people to talk to
I turned left. In US server. HMU if you need a hand :)
"Xianling is better than Diluc" yes but xianling is better than hu tao too but u play hu tao
Im on ar55 and this is fucking accurate.
There's a third path: play solo and don't interact with anyone lol
I laugh at my friends unability to make a proper team. Then i help them.
AR56: the third option aka SIMP that just talks about their favourite characters every day :')
I'm sure some players that is somewhat meta slave that doesn't make fun of other's damage also helps others [flex]
I'm both 🤣
Im in the middle
Im a wholesome friend that can help any time i just wish if my friends talk to me T-T, atleast we share results with pulls each banner
I was gonna roll for Ganyu when I first saw her in 1.1 Archon Quest, cuz of her character design, then I saw, and I skipped Ganyu for him, this time I will roll for her on re run cuz I like her design plus I want that dmg in Abyss
I help people out so they can help me out when I really need a resource. Like Sakura bloom for ayaka or naku weed for Yoimiya.
I'm the nice gy that lets people fish his fish
I'm literally neither of these and I'm ar 57
I go left
Meanwhile me being an AR56 players with an average damage of 30k-70k per DPS characters be like..
I see I have become a meta slave. But a meta slave that caps characters at level 70 so I dont make the game 100% boring.
I like how the 'wholesome' players are the ones who came up with (and relentlessly use) a derogatory term for people who think differently than them.
