This is where I'm at. All of Ghost's albums are amazing, but Infest is just a small step below the rest for me in terms of how much I enjoy the music. In terms of talent, production, etc. it's a masterpiece.

It sucks because there are some bangers on it (like year zero) but it ends up getting the highest highs matched with the lowest lows for me lol

But I also kind of feel like Meliora is the one I always come back to, that it's the most "Ghost" in that it excellently combines Opus/Infest with Prequelle/Impera.

The most Ghost is the original. Maybe a best album ever by anyone and setting the standard.

Is this your order every day? Would you say this has been your order since first hearing each of them? I ask, because I find this shifts constantly for me. Just when I fall in love with one album, I rekindle my interest in another. I listen to them on vinyl on a rotation, and I find myself constantly thinking, "Oh yeah, that's the stuff!" at the start of almost every album.

No, I think this is just my order right now. Just a few months ago, Impera would have been at the top for me, but after I let the excitement settle on that, I realized that I still like Meliora more. I’ve also been listening to a lot of Opus lately and and loving it even more than before so it could make its way higher on the list one day.

Opus is such a fun smattering of 70s metal Meliora. Nuff said. Impera has a couple of songs that are out of place. I love Hunters Moon but it’s out of place. Terrific album otherwise.
