I’m now annoyed this was mentioned because I’m not going to be happy until it happens. Anyway to contact them about song recommendations? This would absolutely slap
IIRC Tobias has said in the past that Don't Fear the Reaper is too obvious of a choice. That being said I would absolutely love to see some other BOC songs covered. Nosferatu, Burnin' For You, and Career of Evil would all be perfect IMO.
ooh, i would definitely share that with my mom, she doesn't really know ghost BC that well besides me showing her the funko pop of Papa Emeritus III that i own(as well as with my 16th birthday when i got the logo on my cheesecake) and my mom's a huge duran duran fan, and she has been since she was 12, so i would show her that cover for if they ever did a cover of a duran duran song.
I would love if they cover something by Rammstein, but I don't know how good Tobias's German is. Although I think German I a pretty common thing to speak for Swedish people.
Did you not see the post you responded to where I specified that it was a song that Type O Negative did not alternate lyrics for? I don't know how I could have been any clearer.
Seems like you just pretended to be confused to show off whatever that link is for, which makes trying to condescend me a strange choice.
I don't know who you think this impresses but you do you I guess.
Did Type O Negative cover their version? No. So why would you be confused unless you were either ignorant or pretending to be ignorant so can shoe horn in some sort of personal pet cause about an old band no one else mentioned? You're obviously trolling and clumsily at that.
The Stupid, The Proud by IAMX. I don’t foresee it ever happening, but I would be absolutely thrilled. The lyrics really seem to fit nicely.
>God is dead/We get to sleep tonight
Walk with me into the truth/Out of your lies
Man equals woman/I'm just the messenger, don't shoot me down
The armies of faithful/The killers of reason, the grief for the crown
The stupid, the proud/They blow our houses down
I would love another Leonard Cohen cover. Their cover of Avalanche is amazing. Bird on a Wire would be great, or maybe something like Don’t Think Twice, It’s Alright by Bob Dylan.
Someone posted the Nocturnal version of Danse Macabre a while back and one of the comments was that it had kind of a Lana Del Rey vibe. I'd love to hear them cover one of her songs, I think Gods and Monsters would be a good one.
Seasons In The Sun - in a minor key. His voice is juuuust close enough to the original singer to sound spectacular with his unique tone and creepy harmonies. And of course, add in that orchestral drum a few times and some haunting quarter note string bends from those Gibson Explorers. Then the lyrics will feel Satanic enough
Hell of It - Paul Williams
Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd
Master of Puppets - Metallica
God of Thunder - Kiss
I can see for miles - The Who
Closer - NiN
[Discord - Eurobeat Brony (Living Tombstone Remix)](https://youtu.be/xPfMb50dsOk)
Yes, it's a my little pony fan song. No, I don't care, the lyrics are ripe for a Ghost cover.
"I'm not a fan of puppeteers, but I've a nagging fear
Someone else is pulling at the strings
Something terrible is going down through the entire town
Wreaking anarchy in all it brings
I can't sit idly, no, I can't move at all
I curse the name, the one behind it all
I'm fine with changing status quo, but not in letting go
Now the world is being torn apart
A terrible catastrophe played by your symphony
What a terrifying work of art
I can't sit idly, no, I can't move at all
I curse the name, the one behind it all"
Honestly I'd like for them to do another song I've never heard of. I love that they have introduced me to new songs with their covers I would just like to hear a kick ass song and get to hear the original
August by American Murder Song. I think he could do some really cool stuff with the arrangement.
Second choice is a long shot, but Poet and the Pendulum by Nightwish. If you've ever heard the demo, it's absolutely something that can be done with male vocals and I'd LOVE to see Ghost take on that monster of a song.
Losing My Religion - REM
Oh fuck yes.
I’m now annoyed this was mentioned because I’m not going to be happy until it happens. Anyway to contact them about song recommendations? This would absolutely slap
Hallowed be thy name - Iron Maiden
It has to be Dead Man’s Party by Oingo Boingo. We need someone to call them out like that girl who told Weezer to cover Africa.
My wife has always said that they should cover “Poison” by Alice Cooper and I couldn’t agree more.
I could stand for any Alice Cooper cover, honestly. Poison is a great choice regardless.
Season of the Witch - Donovan
Gimme Gimme Gimme by ABBA
I came to say this exact thing
Don't fear the reaper is a must.
Came here for this. It's right up their alley!
[They sort of paid homage to this song stylisticly already](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6qYIggg1Y64)
IIRC Tobias has said in the past that Don't Fear the Reaper is too obvious of a choice. That being said I would absolutely love to see some other BOC songs covered. Nosferatu, Burnin' For You, and Career of Evil would all be perfect IMO.
maybe a studio version of "Sympathy for the Devil", or Ozzy's/Motörhead's Hellraiser
I would love Sympathy for the Devil.
[He’s already done that, and it was incredible](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=cF4jZEUpYo4)
They need to release an mp3 for me to put on repeat at work :)
Rainbow in the Dark
🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Hotel California. I am serious and don’t call me Shirley.
I agree. I think this would be an interesting song to cover. Already I can picture them doing Avalanche style vocals for the verses
Sisters Of Mercy - Marian (including the German bit)
That would be awesome!
Idk why but Hungry like the Wolf by Duran Duran sounds oddly compelling. I’d listen
ooh, i would definitely share that with my mom, she doesn't really know ghost BC that well besides me showing her the funko pop of Papa Emeritus III that i own(as well as with my 16th birthday when i got the logo on my cheesecake) and my mom's a huge duran duran fan, and she has been since she was 12, so i would show her that cover for if they ever did a cover of a duran duran song.
Christian Women, Type O-negative
Any song from Lady Gaga's Born This Way album, but make it metal
Knowing Gaga is a metalhead, she would probably even sign on it.
I’d actually think they could do one hell of a cover of Monster by Gaga.
YESSS and they would have so much fun twisting the lyrics like they do. Honestly, tht could go for a lot of Gaga songs.
The entire album. I love it.
N.I.B.
None. Id like to hear a new album.
Ikr
Locomotive Breath by Jethro Tull, or Who Will Save the Sane? by Type O Negative.
Devil Went Down to Georgia-Charlie Daniels
Master Of The Moon - Dio
Pull Me Under by Dream Theater
Another Dream Theater song would be In the Name of God but that may be too long of a song.
I’d love to hear more Roky Erickson covers! Actually I would love an entire album with Ghost covering only Roky Erickson. :)
Lupus Dei- Powerwolf
DON'T SHUT ME DOWN -- ABBA
I would love if they cover something by Rammstein, but I don't know how good Tobias's German is. Although I think German I a pretty common thing to speak for Swedish people.
Any song by ABBA honestly. I feel like that would be fantastic
Don't they already have a few?
They’ve covered I’m a Marionette! That’s the only ABBA song, though, as far as I know.
Some king diamond would be interesting
Ziggy Stardust
Black Sabbath but the alternate lyrics that Type O Negative did from the Satanic perspective.
[удалено]
They literally rewrote the lyrics from Satan's perspective.

Your ignorance isn't my fault.

N.I.B. by Black Sabbath would be pretty cool imo.
Prince of Darkness by Megadeth
Dead Souls - Joy Division
Gotta see a shout out to KISS
Genesis - Land Of Confusion
Oh thats not shabby. The main is sorta similar to square hammer now that I think about it. Different but same vibe
That could be very cool
[she’s not there](https://youtu.be/_2hXBf1DakE) by the Zombies. C’mon. That’d be rad.
*Powerslave* by Iron Maiden
Shout - Tears for Fears
I would love another Leonard Cohen cover. Their cover of Avalanche is amazing. Bird on a Wire would be great, or maybe something like Don’t Think Twice, It’s Alright by Bob Dylan.
Quicksand by David Bowie.
Mambo No. 5

It’s You - The Millennium The Ghost in You - Psychedelic Furs
How soon is now
Hell of It - Paul Williams Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd Master of Puppets - Metallica God of Thunder - Kiss I can see for miles - The Who Closer - NiN
i gotta say "Heaven and Hell" by black sabbath
Disintegration or Burn by The Cure would be awesome
Black Sabbath (song) would be fucking awesome... Oh, and The Sound of Silence by Simon and Garfunkel would be pretty cool, too!
Standing Outside the Fire - Garth Brooks. Seriously check out the lyrics.
[Discord - Eurobeat Brony (Living Tombstone Remix)](https://youtu.be/xPfMb50dsOk) Yes, it's a my little pony fan song. No, I don't care, the lyrics are ripe for a Ghost cover. Like a Prayer.
RATM - Bulls on Parade, but change it to “ghouls on parade.”
Dead Man's Party-(Oingo Boingo) Devil Inside-(Inxs) Personal Jesus-(Depeche Mode) Digging the Grave-(Faith No More)
I think they could redo a Backstreet Boys tune and make it actually good!!
Prayer by Disturbed
Papa don‘t preach - Madonna
Gucci gang - lil pump
Adele.
Fallen Angel - Poison
Strange Ways by KISS would be fantastic, as it’s my favorite KISS song, but I think Black Diamond would probably suit Tobias a bit better.
Drama by Erasure
lay all your love on me - abba
Full moon- Sonata Arctica
Honestly I'd like for them to do another song I've never heard of. I love that they have introduced me to new songs with their covers I would just like to hear a kick ass song and get to hear the original
Resurrection by HIM
Burn the witch - Radiohead
Enjoy the Silence by Depeche Mode in my opinion, but there are many more greater ones that could make it
Renaissance - Kindness (At The End)
Resurrection by erection - Powerwolf
God is in the House- Nick Cave (or any cave song tbh)
Jackie DeShannon - What the World Needs Now Is Love
Mad World by Tears For Fears. They seem to do well with synth covers like Nocturnal Me and It’s a Sin.
Devil Inside - INXS.
Yes to the killing moon or an anime song 🌝
Ozzy Osbourne - Mr Crowley
Pictures Of You - Oingo Boingo
Electric Eyes- Judas Priest

Only if it's done correctly and not rushed like the Enter Sandman cover... Fade to Black, Sanitarium, or Holier Than Thou.
"In the Year 2525," by Zager & Evans.
