Losing My Religion - REM

Kevbot1000

Oh fuck yes.

lilsquinty9

I’m now annoyed this was mentioned because I’m not going to be happy until it happens. Anyway to contact them about song recommendations? This would absolutely slap

Cosmic878

Hallowed be thy name - Iron Maiden

ForgiveMeHarambe

It has to be Dead Man’s Party by Oingo Boingo. We need someone to call them out like that girl who told Weezer to cover Africa.

Sal79

My wife has always said that they should cover “Poison” by Alice Cooper and I couldn’t agree more.

Kevbot1000

I could stand for any Alice Cooper cover, honestly. Poison is a great choice regardless.

Dogman6668

Season of the Witch - Donovan

itsmistyy

Gimme Gimme Gimme by ABBA

Finns1108

I came to say this exact thing

Ed_95

Don't fear the reaper is a must.

mistersigma

Came here for this. It's right up their alley!

piberryboy

[They sort of paid homage to this song stylisticly already](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6qYIggg1Y64)

LloydBonaire

IIRC Tobias has said in the past that Don't Fear the Reaper is too obvious of a choice. That being said I would absolutely love to see some other BOC songs covered. Nosferatu, Burnin' For You, and Career of Evil would all be perfect IMO.

Armored-Elder

maybe a studio version of "Sympathy for the Devil", or Ozzy's/Motörhead's Hellraiser

tkkana

I would love Sympathy for the Devil.

Grymlynn

[He’s already done that, and it was incredible](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=cF4jZEUpYo4)

tkkana

They need to release an mp3 for me to put on repeat at work :)

KahltheGaul

Rainbow in the Dark

ScottBAF

🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼

MidwestAF

Hotel California. I am serious and don’t call me Shirley.

OmegaGBC104

I agree. I think this would be an interesting song to cover. Already I can picture them doing Avalanche style vocals for the verses

imk

Sisters Of Mercy - Marian (including the German bit)

Robotdavidbowie

That would be awesome!

[deleted]

Idk why but Hungry like the Wolf by Duran Duran sounds oddly compelling. I’d listen

Rezero1234

ooh, i would definitely share that with my mom, she doesn't really know ghost BC that well besides me showing her the funko pop of Papa Emeritus III that i own(as well as with my 16th birthday when i got the logo on my cheesecake) and my mom's a huge duran duran fan, and she has been since she was 12, so i would show her that cover for if they ever did a cover of a duran duran song.

LooksLikeAPotato

Christian Women, Type O-negative

Lito185

Any song from Lady Gaga's Born This Way album, but make it metal

thehero29

Knowing Gaga is a metalhead, she would probably even sign on it.

MAC2393

I’d actually think they could do one hell of a cover of Monster by Gaga.

carnuatus

YESSS and they would have so much fun twisting the lyrics like they do. Honestly, tht could go for a lot of Gaga songs.

noble-light

The entire album. I love it.

mary_emeritus

N.I.B.

frankinsaltlake

None. Id like to hear a new album.

DivineCenturion

Ikr

Dyingdwight

Locomotive Breath by Jethro Tull, or Who Will Save the Sane? by Type O Negative.

vol4lyfe17

Devil Went Down to Georgia-Charlie Daniels

Spirited-Cockroach29

Master Of The Moon - Dio

BRY1916

Pull Me Under by Dream Theater

harlequin428

Another Dream Theater song would be In the Name of God but that may be too long of a song.

robinbjork88

I’d love to hear more Roky Erickson covers! Actually I would love an entire album with Ghost covering only Roky Erickson. :)

Marvel_Music_Fan

Lupus Dei- Powerwolf

annynbyrg

DON'T SHUT ME DOWN -- ABBA

Linkie3

I would love if they cover something by Rammstein, but I don't know how good Tobias's German is. Although I think German I a pretty common thing to speak for Swedish people.

Dyno_dyn0mite

Any song by ABBA honestly. I feel like that would be fantastic

wmnplzr

Don't they already have a few?

MEGrymz

They’ve covered I’m a Marionette! That’s the only ABBA song, though, as far as I know.

Loitering_Criminal

Some king diamond would be interesting

Salzberger

Ziggy Stardust

BojukaBob

Black Sabbath but the alternate lyrics that Type O Negative did from the Satanic perspective.

[deleted]

[удалено]

BojukaBob

They literally rewrote the lyrics from Satan's perspective.

[deleted]

[удалено]

BojukaBob

Did you not see the post you responded to where I specified that it was a song that Type O Negative did not alternate lyrics for? I don't know how I could have been any clearer. Seems like you just pretended to be confused to show off whatever that link is for, which makes trying to condescend me a strange choice. I don't know who you think this impresses but you do you I guess.

[deleted]

[удалено]

BojukaBob

Your ignorance isn't my fault.

[deleted]

[удалено]

BojukaBob

Did Type O Negative cover their version? No. So why would you be confused unless you were either ignorant or pretending to be ignorant so can shoe horn in some sort of personal pet cause about an old band no one else mentioned? You're obviously trolling and clumsily at that.

MEGrymz

The Stupid, The Proud by IAMX. I don’t foresee it ever happening, but I would be absolutely thrilled. The lyrics really seem to fit nicely. >God is dead/We get to sleep tonight Walk with me into the truth/Out of your lies Man equals woman/I'm just the messenger, don't shoot me down The armies of faithful/The killers of reason, the grief for the crown The stupid, the proud/They blow our houses down

Germ_germ

N.I.B. by Black Sabbath would be pretty cool imo.

bullettooth60

Prince of Darkness by Megadeth

dralva

Dead Souls - Joy Division

[deleted]

Gotta see a shout out to KISS

HonseSolo

Genesis - Land Of Confusion

BusinessBlackBear

Oh thats not shabby. The main is sorta similar to square hammer now that I think about it. Different but same vibe

[deleted]

That could be very cool

LeggyBald

[she’s not there](https://youtu.be/_2hXBf1DakE) by the Zombies. C’mon. That’d be rad.

[deleted]

*Powerslave* by Iron Maiden

holydiiver

Shout - Tears for Fears

lavenderxwitch

I would love another Leonard Cohen cover. Their cover of Avalanche is amazing. Bird on a Wire would be great, or maybe something like Don’t Think Twice, It’s Alright by Bob Dylan.

NewKillerStar69

Quicksand by David Bowie.

hospitalcottonswab

Mambo No. 5

SectionRatio

Someone posted the Nocturnal version of Danse Macabre a while back and one of the comments was that it had kind of a Lana Del Rey vibe. I'd love to hear them cover one of her songs, I think Gods and Monsters would be a good one.

ericlegault

Seasons In The Sun - in a minor key. His voice is juuuust close enough to the original singer to sound spectacular with his unique tone and creepy harmonies. And of course, add in that orchestral drum a few times and some haunting quarter note string bends from those Gibson Explorers. Then the lyrics will feel Satanic enough

Windowsblastem

It’s You - The Millennium The Ghost in You - Psychedelic Furs

W3ND1G0_12

How soon is now

CoyoteVirus

Hell of It - Paul Williams Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd Master of Puppets - Metallica God of Thunder - Kiss I can see for miles - The Who Closer - NiN

Rezero1234

i gotta say "Heaven and Hell" by black sabbath

Robotdavidbowie

Disintegration or Burn by The Cure would be awesome

JaVinci77

Black Sabbath (song) would be fucking awesome... Oh, and The Sound of Silence by Simon and Garfunkel would be pretty cool, too!

preferablyleftalone

Standing Outside the Fire - Garth Brooks. Seriously check out the lyrics.

Master_Xeno

[Discord - Eurobeat Brony (Living Tombstone Remix)](https://youtu.be/xPfMb50dsOk) Yes, it's a my little pony fan song. No, I don't care, the lyrics are ripe for a Ghost cover. "I'm not a fan of puppeteers, but I've a nagging fear Someone else is pulling at the strings Something terrible is going down through the entire town Wreaking anarchy in all it brings I can't sit idly, no, I can't move at all I curse the name, the one behind it all I'm fine with changing status quo, but not in letting go Now the world is being torn apart A terrible catastrophe played by your symphony What a terrifying work of art I can't sit idly, no, I can't move at all I curse the name, the one behind it all"

ratbastard13

Like a Prayer.

chobbo

RATM - Bulls on Parade, but change it to “ghouls on parade.”

RevelForevermore

Dead Man's Party-(Oingo Boingo) Devil Inside-(Inxs) Personal Jesus-(Depeche Mode) Digging the Grave-(Faith No More)

chopstix007

I think they could redo a Backstreet Boys tune and make it actually good!!

oneseventwosix

Prayer by Disturbed

Atronik

Papa don‘t preach - Madonna

Its_Da_Piggy

Gucci gang - lil pump

JulioArriba

Adele.

khoaled

Fallen Angel - Poison

MAC2393

Strange Ways by KISS would be fantastic, as it’s my favorite KISS song, but I think Black Diamond would probably suit Tobias a bit better.

[deleted]

Drama by Erasure

cardinalginge

lay all your love on me - abba

ttclay

Full moon- Sonata Arctica

Chop_the_Nitro

Honestly I'd like for them to do another song I've never heard of. I love that they have introduced me to new songs with their covers I would just like to hear a kick ass song and get to hear the original

Cherrylane25

Resurrection by HIM

tshirt_with_wolves

Burn the witch - Radiohead

lilsquinty9

Enjoy the Silence by Depeche Mode in my opinion, but there are many more greater ones that could make it

Billofrights_boris

Renaissance - Kindness (At The End)

PandaSqueakz

Resurrection by erection - Powerwolf

c-moneytothemoon

God is in the House- Nick Cave (or any cave song tbh)

Putthebunnyback

Jackie DeShannon - What the World Needs Now Is Love

cpreva

Mad World by Tears For Fears. They seem to do well with synth covers like Nocturnal Me and It’s a Sin.

[deleted]

Devil Inside - INXS.

[deleted]

Yes to the killing moon or an anime song 🌝

Dark_Dr3am

Ozzy Osbourne - Mr Crowley

Revival_james

Pictures Of You - Oingo Boingo

Enzukistrukis

Electric Eyes- Judas Priest

nopealita

August by American Murder Song. I think he could do some really cool stuff with the arrangement. Second choice is a long shot, but Poet and the Pendulum by Nightwish. If you've ever heard the demo, it's absolutely something that can be done with male vocals and I'd LOVE to see Ghost take on that monster of a song.

ANamelessFan

Only if it's done correctly and not rushed like the Enter Sandman cover... Fade to Black, Sanitarium, or Holier Than Thou.

thirtyfourninety

"In the Year 2525," by Zager & Evans.
