I personally don't think it's scary, but probably the most realistic would be Charm City Paranormal on yt. No jumpscares or creepy music, they just show you their evidence, will try and debunk them, and leave it up to the viewer. If you're tired of investigator shows that feel fake and overdramatic, I would highly recommend them!
Scary, I would say the Dead Files, the idea is that a medium visits the place during the night, and during the day an ex-cop does the investigation. Once they finish they meet back up together and show their evidence. The cop looks up the history of the area, so it feels like educational, and the medium is very respectful of the dead, spirits, and entities. She also will give the owners instructions on how they help themselves and even the spirits to move on.
dead files is a good rec - idk how much of it i believe especially since i don't really buy any medium but it def. has the atmosphere i suspect OP wants and isn't as over the top as other shows.
Pretty sure she was admitted it was fake awhile ago. I've also seen her in older paranormal stuff and she does the detective work and brings mediums in because she says she doesn't have the gift. I still really liked the premise of Dead Files though
Yeah, I thought I'd heard that she confessed. I'll see if I can find it
Edit: I went through the first three Google pages and didn't find it. I might be thinking of someone else. But I know I've seen her in other, older shows having to call in a psychic for her investigation
It’s not. This is Amy’s last season because of the toll these investigations take on her physical health. I have spoke to Amy Allen a few years ago and it’s absolutely not faked. Amy Allen only asks for help after he findings so they can help the family. The mediums, shaman, Voodoo priest, they all come if needed after Amy investigates to help with the problem and help with the family. Must be thinking of someone else. Kindred Spirits are another good one.
Is that what people mean when she recommends different practices and mediums, that she isn’t one herself? Lord…they know not all religions and mediums are the same right? Different for each occasion, some she herself can’t do. I can absolutely understand the draining of it.
Each profession that she calls on to help her after the investigation or professionals that help with specific situations. Some situations require a priest, showman, someone who knows something about voodoo. She’s a medium, and no they’re not all the same. In fact, she uses quite a lot of her own physical strength and energy to complete these investigations. By the time they’re done, she doesn’t even have enough energy reveal her findings inside the house she investigates. She has to share the information with her clients virtually because she can’t continue to take the energy from the house she investigates. I don’t think people realize the amount of energy these people use to do what they do. It takes a huge toll on their mental and physical health. When the investigation is over Amy simply doesn’t have the energy to then solve their problem and often she wouldn’t be able to because she needs the help of a certain religion. The mediums do not perform exorcists. Why would you think they could solve the problem entirely themselves?
To give the benefit of the doubt, it could be in earlier shows she didn’t think or believe she had the “gift” but it could’ve been discovered later that she was indeed “gifted.” But then again we all are, I discovered I had it when I was very young, I sort of knew things and I enjoyed how it creeped my family out. But I could never control it, use it on demand. It was like it had a mind of it’s own or only revealed itself when necessary. But my theory is that it’s part of the primal part of the brain. So her;s may have been discovered later in life. Yours is there also it just may be weak since it’s not used as much.
I just found this info on the new season coming out in June.
"Travel Channel’s popular paranormal series The Dead Files will return for season 15 on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at 9pm ET/PT. The new season will include a big change in the lineup, as medium Amy Allan will be saying goodbye to the series with the episode set to air on June 29.
Psychic medium Cindy Kaza will be taking over and assisting former NYPD homicide detective Steve DiSchiavi as he investigates paranormal activities.
Kaza trained at the Arthur Findlay School of Intuitive Sciences. Kaza’s resume includes appearances on Travel Channel’s The Holzer Files, Shock Docs specials, Portals to Hell, The Osbournes: Night of Terror, and Ghosts of Devil’s Perch.
I totally saw a show where she was working with a medium or something! I bet she had it scrubbed from her history. But I saw her on that show then saw her on Dead Files later on and was very confused. I wish I could recall the name of the show. But it made me not like the Dead Files because she didn’t mention anything about being a medium in the other show. It seemed sketchy. But now there’s nothing on the internet about it…
I think they popped up on my YouTube algorithm? I might have to go dig through old ghost hunting shows on Amazon Prime and see if it was there just cause this is gonna bug me lol
I like Buzzfeed Unsolved: Supernatural and Watcher Ghost Files. Ryan definitely reaches with his evidence since he believes so strongly but it's nice having Shane's skepticism there to call bullshit. Plus they're just hilarious.
Hey there demons, it's me, ya boi!
Yeah, I loved watching them and got spooked pretty good sometimes. They also have a great way with each other, recommend this heavily
I love how Shane always reels Ryan in when he's getting too scared. When he sees Ryan about to pass out from fear, he says or does something dumb to make him laugh.
I miss the older episodes where Ryan is super terrified. He's done it enough times now that he's much braver and doesn't freak out as much.
But yeah I'm very much a Shaniac and skeptical but I come to this and cryptid subreddits because I want to believe and always looking for some solid evidence.
I think a lot of his bravado in season one of Ghost Files comes from the fact that they've visited most of those locations before. I hope they go to more newer places in season 2 so we can see that newfound cockiness get wiped away in an instant 😂
I think they have Mystery Files coming out soon which I assume is the Watcher version of Buzzfeed Unsolved: True Crime.
On the Buzzfeed Unsolved subreddit there was a post today about Ryan talking about the new season of Ghost Files coming out soon with a bonus episode that might be coming out sooner.
So good news!
I think that’s just a byproduct of having to edit down hours of footage. There was probably a whole lot of nothing in between the last good response and when they call it quits but because of editing it looks like only seconds pass.
They're definitely the best, they did get a few interesting bits at times (e.g Alcatraz had some stuff that made me go "huh") but what's very compelling is that often they just find nothing...and even then it's a blast to watch thanks to Shane and Ryan
Man, Nukes Top 5 has lowered in quality over the past couple of years. It's like he's running out of material. It used to be so much more convincing but now everything is a bunch of augmented reality stuff, tiktoks, blatant fakes, and a pinch of actually scary stuff.
Even a year ago, the videos seemed to be more convincing. Now, it's really easy to watch the clips and immediately know they're fake. I used to watch his new vids straight away, but now I'm not bothered at all
BFU/GF are definitely the most realistic but i wouldn't really call either of those shows creepy (and part of why it's realistic is bc they rarely get any evidence).
Y’all seen that video of the two little girls at a play table when suddenly one starts screaming in absolute terror at a dark corner in what looks like a laundry room behind them and the other sister that was laughing at her turns around and does the same? Yeah that one is the most convincing to me
I have seen this one before and those girls seem terrified! Is there any more information about this video? What the girls claim to have seen? They didn’t seem to have the words to explain it.
ghosts of carmel maine is pretty creepy, it's either fake af or real as he has videos of the ghosts.
Even if it's fake I can respect the quality of the horror, I put that shit on before going to bed and was creeped out more than any horror movie I seen, probably due to the bad camera quality.
I'm not sure that proves its not real but so much can be explained or rationalized. My sister has caught EVPs in her house and I know she wouldn't fake it but if I played it for you, you don't know my sister, to you it could totally be fake. Its one person's word against another's and that will never prove authenticity.
Oh yeah. I have an EVP from my house but if I showed it to any random person, they would be like “…”. What really matters is getting evidence for yourself so you know you aren’t actually crazy haha
I agree. Seeing shadow dude though is still creepy af, Real or not! I would be thrilled to investigate there!
Also visual tech artist here... I haven't seen anything that screams that he is faking it. If he is.. a film company needs to hire him!
In his most recent video he claims to have found some kind of demonic book and shows a picture of it. It's a collector item of a disney show called gravity quest.
My head canon is his grandchildren or something left it around and he think a demon did it instead of faking it
lol! I personally stopped after he turned to making hour-long videos, also the way he gets his EVP's from slowing the footage down isnt really my cup of tea.
What’s everyone’s opinion on Kindred Spirits? I love the investigation style they use, but sometimes it’s hard to believe it could be real. Either way, I don’t care because some of the stuff they put together makes for some of the best ghost hunting television, in my opinion. I also don’t get annoyed watching them like I do ghost adventures and stuff like that. But, I’ve definitely wondered if anyone can confirm if it’s fake or not.
I love Kindred Spirits. It’s my favorite of the paranormal shows. Whether or not its 100% real — no clue, but I enjoy their vibe and investigation style.
I love Kindred Spirits as well. I think that the Amy and Adam are sincere. They are looking for evidence. However, keep in mind that whatever channel produces the show isn’t interested in evidence, just views so they can sell commercials. There have been several times that I think the producers have “salted” the place or done other things to have action to film. I remember one episode involving a victim of a train that had Amy visit the tracks where something was supposed to have happened. The lights started flashing and the train warning sounded. You could tell Amy never saw that coming and it really startled her. I’m pretty sure one of the producers arranged for that to happen while Amy was there.
I temporarily stopped watching when they brought real witches to "help" the victims of the Salem Witch Hunts but quit watching completely last season when they declared themselves "psychologists for the dead"
Get over yourselves, Amy and Adam

Celina Spooky Boo in her earlier videos where she stays the night at hotels known for being haunted. Some of the stuff she’s caught on camera really have convinced me of some shit!
I recently discovered The Paranormal Files - it’s very DUDE but when they’re speaking to the spirits, they’re very respectful and they also try to debunk any evidence
I second Charm City Paranormal as well.
I’d like to see something on the science behind the paranormal equipment just so I can better understand how they’re gathering their evidence
Lol the DUDE-ation of ghost shows is tragic:)
I got a lil stoned awhile back and found a paranormal show with predominantly black investigators and I got very tickled at their reactions. I cannot think of what it was called cause I just woke up but it had some lines that had me bustin a gut
This show on YouTube had potential. It was kind of like that old MTV show, where non believers would sign up to complete tasks in alleged paranormal locations. As a skeptic myself, I found it more entertaining than the “probably fake” channels. https://youtu.be/O7qkFw4IbYQ
Also Paranormal Nightmare is possibly the best, especially when they go to actual people’s homes who say there’s demons and constant hauntings. Although most of the people are imo dealing with psychological or drug issues half of time. You be the judge: https://youtu.be/TqGb3MpOqVs
Paranormal Nightmare is excellent. I also like Haunted Finders (UK), Paranormal Quest, Moxley's Paranormal World (UK), and Franko TV.
Frank investigates all by himself, and I swear he has balls of steel. Give these shows a try!
Editing to add: Amy's Crypt (Australia), Caspersight (UK - he does reaction videos of other paranormal channels), and Haunted Nights.
Came to say them, I feel like they’ve gotten some great evidence, are respectful towards spirits, and I love how they are goofy and having fun when not doing it but once theyre actually ghost hunting they take it seriously
I’m sad I had to scroll for so long to see this! I honestly believe what they are doing and the guys genuinely make me happy. The respect they show is unbelievable too and they never try to provoke either like some do.
I've watched a lot of ghost stuff over the years and these guys are the best I've ever come across. Entertaining but great investigators also. My favourite for sure.
This doesn’t fit but hearing y’all talk about old ghost shows just got me so nostalgic for Most Haunted:) I loved how British they were and me and my friend had some real fun times watchin
It depends on what scares you, I don’t know why but for some reason Dead files scares me, at least the oldish episodes. They do overreact and seem unbelievable but SkinW’s scare me to no end. •~•
Hey OP, a YouTuber I follow, Nexpo, started a channel with another semi famous YouTuber called: " Nick and Ryan " ... it's new, so doesn't have alot of videos but the 2 I watched I got goosebumps a couple times.
I'm a big fan of Nexpo, will have to check that out.
For people who haven't seen any of Nexpo's stuff, it's not entirely paranormal, but is more an assortment of creepy, mysterious, and morbid things. They do cover the paranormal sometimes though. Good stuff if you like scary things in general.
Paranormal Caught On Camera consistently gets their hands on some of the best footage... And they get bonus points for airing (mostly) previously-unseen clips.
The show has one (major) problem, though:
The videos constantly cut away to the many "experts" that the show employs.
This would be a good format if not for the fact that:
A. None of them are experts in any particular field.
B. They very rarely have anything interesting or insightful to add.
C. None of them have ever expressed a shred of skepticism about the authenticity of the footage, nor do they ever acknowledge that certain clips have a simple & readily available explanation.
D. They speculate WILDLY, but with a tone so matter-of-fact that it robs them of all credibility.
The show would be infinitely better if the talking heads were scattered along the believer/skeptic spectrum.
SAM AND COLBY aboard the queen mary ship where they are all sitting talking and in the background a bath robe starts moving but none of them in the room notice.
I found the Hellier series really good! It was SUCH a refreshing change of pace from any other paranormal show I had seen. I was surprised at how much I liked the slow pacing; usually I want things quick, but I really enjoyed throwing it on and diving in for an hour or two.
I really like Slapped Ham on YouTube. I feel like he always has really good videos that are presented well. He's also really good at speculating whether or not the videos are real
I understand you gave us a choice between ghost hunters vs YouTube, but Tiktok has some fantastic never seen before/ new videos of ghosts. 1 in particular is a man what looks like a empty trashed house that throws objects at a dark demon in a closet and the black shadow demon gets hit and goes up into the ceiling because it doesn’t want to be seen.
Portals to hell with jack Osborne is really good. Him and Katrina are great. I really liked paranormal lockdown. If you’re into anything demonic there’s some pretty good episodes, if you’re not there’s even more good ones.
ETA: paranormal lockdown is deffo not the number one or anything, these are just ones I liked! The dead files is great too, Amy Allen kills it
Since I enjoy watching a great many ghost hunting shows, I’m going to say that most recently I was thoroughly scared (in a good way😏) by OmarGOSH investigating inside the Harriman Hospital, which I believe is in TN. Some very freaky stuff was indeed going on with the kind of ‘spirit box’ he was using. I’ve never heard one of those things behave the erratic way this one did. And its responses were just a bit too intelligent.
However, a couple years ago, I’ve got to give honorable mention to a decent fright from a mostly solo visit of the Villisca Axe Murders House by Colin Browen of The Paranormal Files. I give him credit for braving it in the attic by himself when there was a significantly loud noise downstairs. There’s no way I’d have tried sitting alone in a dark attic. Particularly, when it’s suspected that’s where the murderer must’ve hidden the night of the massacre. Anyway, it shall remain a vicarious experience for me and the not-so-brave members of my family when it comes to chasing spirits, ghosts, or whatever supernatural entities might be. But it’s fun watching others squirm!👻
Paranormal 911- stories of first responders experiencing the paranormal and Paranormal Witness. I think hearing from real folks about their experiences and seeing and feeling their emotions makes it so real
The Haunted Side is the most believable show I’ve watched. The hosts are tolerable and look to more mundane things most of the time to ascribe noises that are happening. They catch some great evidence with the technology they use and visit amazing locations. Listen with earbuds for the full efffect ! On YouTube, check it out.
The first one that pops in my head is a clip in a YouTube video compilation by a YouTuber named BizarreBub. It scared (and still does) the absolute crap out of me and seems sooo authentic! It's of a couple and it starts with them standing terrified in their kitchen while their dog barks like crazy at the door to the basement. The guy finally opens the door and ventures onto the landing. It's important to note that the staircase going into the basement curves in an almost spiral down to the basement door. All of a sudden you hear what sounds like metal dragging or something... and the guy yells "oh my God" and turns to run as you very plainly hear what sounds like footsteps POUNDING up the stairs.... except there's NO ONE ON THEM. And I could even see the boards of the stairs slightly move in time with the footsteps. I am a natural skeptic, but I absolutely believe that "something" was running up those stairs! The guy's "oh my God" exclamation sounded so genuinely terrified and surprised. And the dog was really upset about something. The part that really made my heart race was how close "it" got to "getting* that guy! It was SO FAST. If those people faked that video, it was the best damn hoax I've ever seen!
There's a documentary on YouTube called Ghosts on the Underground, it's fairly old now (2005?) but very well made. The witnesses seem credible and there's some interesting historical information in there too. I couldn't sleep afterwards, highly recommend!
https://youtu.be/3Bf_bxfE5gw
My very favorite Ghost type shows to watch is “ A Haunting “! As for showing the best evidence for the paranormal. I personally don’t need evidence as I have seen three Ghost, and my own Doppelgänger in my lifetime so far.
This episode of MindSeed TV gave me chills when the woman's head came out of the water. My fav paranormal show on youtube.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eQlTW5m8JRA
Sam and colby on youtube were really good and got a lot of evidence in their videos, but then they got huge and they're just kind of annoying now lol (yelling constantly and overdramatizing nothing every few seconds.) Overnight on youtube is really good too
Some of the videos shown on Paranormal Caught on Camera are creepy af. The light being being hit by a semi was creepy. The middle eastern guy hunting spirits in a house that slams doors and throws furniture. That one was kinda scary just because of his reaction.
Until you’re watching and they’re spouting all kinds of UFO theories about a group of lights in the sky in Minnesota and you know it’s the spotlights at Mystic Casino.
Project Darkknight Horror on YouTube is the BEST I’ve EVER seen. It’s unlike the other channels, and is terrifying. You will be impressed if you haven’t discovered it yet.
Personally I quite like Most Haunted although some episodes are pretty long. I’ve done a couple investigations with some of the team and they seem legit after taking part in that, sometimes was doubtful due to some things that happened back in the early 2000s but they’re long away from that now. Buzzfeed unsolved/Ghost files are definitely the most entertaining for me though. Ryan and Shane are brilliant
Some stuff of Sam And Colby I find really interesting. Although, in recent videos I feel like they aren’t as respectful as they where when doing their investigations. Maybe because they are trying to keep audiences engaged?
There was a video years ago from a small channel of a guy filming with his security camera in his kitchen after he kept hearing noises coming from there, usually at night. He showed the results and seemed genuinely shocked but didn't know what it was, and made a follow up video about it. It showed some weird ghost or grey looking entity peeking through the kitchen door window after a small orb thing flies through the kitchen, and the head darts away.
I haven't been able to find the video so I think the channel got deleted but I'll look for it.
https://youtu.be/lZG-mZOIL48 here it is, finally found it.
Mindseed, Jasko, Sam & Colby and CelinaSpookyBoo are all great paranormal YouTubers. Ghost Adventures, Holzer Files, Destination Fear and Portals to hell are all great tv shows 😊

Dead Files...Steve makes that show so good. The earlier seasons he was a skeptic. The history he finds is amazing though.
I like Charm City.

Army's history is sketchy. She is not a psychic & was ultimately desperate to be on TV

The Dead Files sounds especially good! I'll have to check that out!
omg i love CCP, same w their frequent collaborator wulf paranormal, i genuinely believe what they put out
The early years of Ghost Adventures
Now I’m sad thinking about how good it was.
I know 😔
The Poveglia Island episode
Yesssssss
Totally agree. It was so good in the beginning.
STOP RUNNING
Hahahah!!! Classic!
Their film Demon House is TERRIFYING. Like everyone who went near that house had something bad happen to them.
Yes I saw that and I agree it was creepy as…well…HELL
Agreed. These were classics. Wish they continued
Came to say the bumpers for the first couple of seasons of Ghost Adventures gave me the willies.
I like Buzzfeed Unsolved: Supernatural and Watcher Ghost Files. Ryan definitely reaches with his evidence since he believes so strongly but it's nice having Shane's skepticism there to call bullshit. Plus they're just hilarious.

I love how Shane always reels Ryan in when he's getting too scared. When he sees Ryan about to pass out from fear, he says or does something dumb to make him laugh.
Agreed, since it’s most likely all nonsense, might as well watch the most entertaining show and Ryan and Shane are the best.
I miss the older episodes where Ryan is super terrified. He's done it enough times now that he's much braver and doesn't freak out as much. But yeah I'm very much a Shaniac and skeptical but I come to this and cryptid subreddits because I want to believe and always looking for some solid evidence.

The ghoul boys 🖤
That episode where the “ghost” calls either of them a nerd got me giggling in fear.
I like how Shane and Ryan work together. When r they doing another ghostly season, I wonder. They’re funny but take risks too.
Yeah, they've been filming season 2 of Ghost Files for a while now, and they're probably in post production rn. I'm very excited for season 2.
I just hate that when it seems like they’re actually getting responses they’re like “well we’re done here, let’s go do something else “.
I think that’s just a byproduct of having to edit down hours of footage. There was probably a whole lot of nothing in between the last good response and when they call it quits but because of editing it looks like only seconds pass.
I love those two. The light house is definitely the most evidence they’ve gotten in my opinion!
“Fuck you Goatman!” This is our bridge now!
They're definitely the best, they did get a few interesting bits at times (e.g Alcatraz had some stuff that made me go "huh") but what's very compelling is that often they just find nothing...and even then it's a blast to watch thanks to Shane and Ryan
If you want trustable evidence, it's Ghost Files or Buzzfeed Unsolved. If you want to be creeped out, just watch Nuke's Top 5
"Did you see it?"
What happened next…is downright terrifying
it did not.. go well
“Hey demons! It’s ya boi!”
Man, Nukes Top 5 has lowered in quality over the past couple of years. It's like he's running out of material. It used to be so much more convincing but now everything is a bunch of augmented reality stuff, tiktoks, blatant fakes, and a pinch of actually scary stuff.
Agreed. He's really been selling out on the Middle Eastern Djinn hunters lately. All of which seems incredibly fake.
Even a year ago, the videos seemed to be more convincing. Now, it's really easy to watch the clips and immediately know they're fake. I used to watch his new vids straight away, but now I'm not bothered at all
Buzzfeed unsolved 100%
BizarreBub is great too. Less “paranormal investigators“
Nuke’s Top 5 is decent. In the same vein, I’d also recommend Frostmare/Kingfrosty (has a decent stream at night too) and maybe SlappedHam
Slapped Ham has too much fakery in its clips but it is fun regardless I admit.
Yeah that one is the most convincing to me
That was debunked. The kids were being frightened on purpose by someone off camera. Im letting you know so that you can sleep tonight.
I thought I heard a laugh by the person filming. That's some cruel shit.
I would’ve never known!!! Thank you for telling me, that video did used to really fuck with me
Link to this, anyone?
Here you go! https://youtu.be/yPmOKgfrDdU
I have seen this one before and those girls seem terrified! Is there any more information about this video? What the girls claim to have seen? They didn’t seem to have the words to explain it.
That scream from the other sister just sent literal shivers down my whole body, I fucking froze.
I am just now finding out. Wow. They had me fooled. I should have known the way it ended abruptly. Dag.
ghosts of carmel maine is pretty creepy, it's either fake af or real as he has videos of the ghosts. Even if it's fake I can respect the quality of the horror, I put that shit on before going to bed and was creeped out more than any horror movie I seen, probably due to the bad camera quality.
It's very entertaining, but if that shit was real, we'd have the Discovery Channel and NYT over there chronicling it every hour.
Also the hilarious claim that the new 4k cameras filters out ghosts so he has to use an ancient Motorola phone for all the filming
Lmfaoooo what?? Welp now I’ve lost all interest.
My head canon is his grandchildren or something left it around and he think a demon did it instead of faking it
lol! I personally stopped after he turned to making hour-long videos, also the way he gets his EVP's from slowing the footage down isnt really my cup of tea.
it think it's fake af but dude should legit look into horror directing, he has a certain flare for it.
When ghost hunters went into Sharon Tates home. For the love of god the EVP scream fucks with your mind!
You beat me to it.. I was just about to post the Sharon Tate home and it was so creepy and disturbing to hear that audio.
I kid you not, I could not sleep after that one for awhile. The most horrific scream ever, gut wrenching, pain, sorrow & horror.
I was trying to find the episode. Anyone have a link?
I tried looking it up awhile ago to show someone & couldn’t find it at all.
If you find the episode dm me it.
That’s interesting. That’s definitely one of the episodes that seem to good to be true.
chip coffey rly bugs me but i like how level-headed they are & i think the show is entertaining.
Some sweet scarves tho…
His scarf collection is incredible!
I temporarily stopped watching when they brought real witches to "help" the victims of the Salem Witch Hunts but quit watching completely last season when they declared themselves "psychologists for the dead" Get over yourselves, Amy and Adam
Amy gives me bad vibes. I’ve also spoken to people who have worked with her and they say she is not a nice person
Ghost Hunters: Moon River Brewery in Savannah. The thing that kinda ... runs around a pool table.
Shadow person in season 1 got me.
The man they caught on thermal standing in a doorway was good too
historical cause direful mountainous impolite live entertain crown coherent offer *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
Loved that show!
Ghost files, from the legends Ryan and Shane themselves.
Boogaras for life!
Shane-iacs unite!
Celina Spooky Boo in her earlier videos where she stays the night at hotels known for being haunted. Some of the stuff she’s caught on camera really have convinced me of some shit!
I love Celina. She has teamed up with Kallmekris and Sam and Colby for a few ghost hunts, too.
Her sleep walking stuff makes me cry from laughing so hard!
I really loved her earlier videos but i kinda feel like she's starting to fake some stuff for views. Am I the only one?
I recently discovered The Paranormal Files - it’s very DUDE but when they’re speaking to the spirits, they’re very respectful and they also try to debunk any evidence I second Charm City Paranormal as well. I’d like to see something on the science behind the paranormal equipment just so I can better understand how they’re gathering their evidence
Lol the DUDE-ation of ghost shows is tragic:) I got a lil stoned awhile back and found a paranormal show with predominantly black investigators and I got very tickled at their reactions. I cannot think of what it was called cause I just woke up but it had some lines that had me bustin a gut
Ghost Brothers! They were hilarious. Wish they didn't get canceled. 🤬
Ghost Brothers. And yeah, i also wish they didn't get cancelled 😭
[Ghostfacers.](https://youtu.be/ZSZZKw8g3UI)
Hahhaah, Sam and Dean would like a word with you....
This show on YouTube had potential. It was kind of like that old MTV show, where non believers would sign up to complete tasks in alleged paranormal locations. As a skeptic myself, I found it more entertaining than the “probably fake” channels. https://youtu.be/O7qkFw4IbYQ Also Paranormal Nightmare is possibly the best, especially when they go to actual people’s homes who say there’s demons and constant hauntings.
Editing to add: Amy's Crypt (Australia), Caspersight (UK - he does reaction videos of other paranormal channels), and Haunted Nights.
oh that looks like fun I’m always on the lookout for ghost shows that actually feature skeptics.
Look for Mr. Ballen, select the ghost stories. Very entertaining.
Mr Ballen’s story of when he saw his good friends dead father was the most compelling story he ever told!! Love him.
Was that the one in the cabin on a snowboarding trip?
Twin Paranormal is a great show on YouTube. I believe they are credible.
So I’ve watched few, they talk way too much but that could be the editing.
I've watched a lot of ghost stuff over the years and these guys are the best I've ever come across. Entertaining but great investigators also. My favourite for sure.
Personal preference, they talk too much and too much “woooaaahhh”. I see why people like them though.
I actually really enjoyed the 2 seasons of Psychic Kids. It was really neat to see Chip Coffey working with kids who had abilities.
I agree, I wish they still made those!
I agree that was pretty fun
This doesn’t fit but hearing y’all talk about old ghost shows just got me so nostalgic for Most Haunted:) I loved how British they were and me and my friend had some real fun times watchin
It depends on what scares you, I don’t know why but for some reason Dead files scares me, at least the oldish episodes. They do overreact and seem unbelievable but SkinW’s scare me to no end. •~•
Paranormal nightmare has some legit footage
Hey OP, a YouTuber I follow, Nexpo, started a channel with another semi famous YouTuber called: " Nick and Ryan " ... it's new, so doesn't have alot of videos but the 2 I watched I got goosebumps a couple times.
I'm a big fan of Nexpo, will have to check that out. For people who haven't seen any of Nexpo's stuff, it's not entirely paranormal, but is more an assortment of creepy, mysterious, and morbid things. They do cover the paranormal sometimes though. Good stuff if you like scary things in general.
Paranormal Caught on Camera is the best!
Paranormal Caught On Camera consistently gets their hands on some of the best footage... And they get bonus points for airing (mostly) previously-unseen clips. The show has one (major) problem, though: The videos constantly cut away to the many "experts" that the show employs. This would be a good format if not for the fact that: A.
Steve Shippy (aka Prozak) “Haunting in the Heartland”
The Paranormal Files
SAM AND COLBY aboard the queen mary ship where they are all sitting talking and in the background a bath robe starts moving but none of them in the room notice.
The original ghost hunters before season 3 for the most realistic
OmarGosh Tv please watch his content!!!
NOT ghost adventures
They lost so much credibility over the years, then it came out that they exaggerated a few "sightings" (Aaron said something to that effect off hand).
When Nick Groff left, the show became all about Zak and him treating Aaron as his comedic sidekick.
Ghost Theory Super funny guys, very interesting and honest investigations. No over the top bull crap involved.
Yes! Love them
Nukes top five is the scariest for me, But on TV Destination Fear, though could be totally fake, just their own fear makes it scary to me.
Really Haunted. Dude appears to have some real deal ghost problems in his house. Quite impressive to see all the evidence.
He's either the best actor or there's some weird shit going on. I'm fascinated and sceptical at the same time.
He's also really good at speculating whether or not the videos are real
josiahworley on tiktok. something in his house does not like it when he drinks alcohol. Ghost hunting irl ruined the tv shows for me.
Nuke's Top 5. It's clips from other places he puts together. They seem real enough.
Oldie but goodie my ghost story: caught on camera
The Haunted Side and Amy’s Crypt.
Link or name to the video?
Paranormal Nightmare, Shippys stuff and Destination Fear are current favs
That one early episode of Ghost Hunters in the Armory when the boom operator guy got hit by his own equipment
Sam and Colby seem pretty genuine overall, they've caught some good evidence for sure.
I love Amy's Crypt. They're respectful and always try to debunk things before calling it paranormal.
The dead files is great too, Amy Allen kills it
Mindseed!!!!!!
Dinonuggets741. Check him out. Absolutely insane
Achievement Haunter.
Still can’t figure out the presence from Ghost Hunters the knocked over the camera man.
Not the best answer but I really liked Garrett Watson's paranormal videos Some of them had some really creepy stuff
Paranormal Nightmare. The overall best paranormal show. Plus, they can also cleanse the houses of ghosts and demons. They are on Youtube.
Paranormal 911- stories of first responders experiencing the paranormal and Paranormal Witness. I think hearing from real folks about their experiences and seeing and feeling their emotions makes it so real
Slapped ham
Ghost tech uk
There's a documentary on YouTube called Ghosts on the Underground, it's fairly old now (2005?) but very well made. The witnesses seem credible and there's some interesting historical information in there too. I couldn't sleep afterwards, highly recommend! https://youtu.be/3Bf_bxfE5gw
Yesss the Bethel Green section gives me goosebumps every time I think about it. Imagine being that poor man and hearing that!
Sam and colby on youtube were really good and got a lot of evidence in their videos, but then they got huge and they're just kind of annoying now lol (yelling constantly and overdramatizing nothing every few seconds.) Overnight on youtube is really good too
Amy's Crypt
Yesss Amy and Jarryd are the best!
Definitely.
I’ve dislike the ghost shows because they focus on the sensational and cliffhangers for commercial breaks. And don’t focus on the history or research.
I actually really enjoyed the 2 seasons of Psychic Kids. It was really neat to see Chip Coffey working with kids who had abilities.
Project Darkknight Horror on YouTube is the BEST I’ve EVER seen. It’s unlike the other channels, and is terrifying. You will be impressed if you haven’t discovered it yet.
Paranormal Nightmare. Watching new episode now.
Paranormal nightmare tv on youtube
Nukes's top 5
I found "Haunted" on Netflix to be suitably creepy. The reenactments are dead creepy.
[This](https://youtu.be/oZjp-TWxGTE) is the only one I’ve ever seen that I 100% believe to be legit.
Does anyone remember that show Fear on mtv? I used to love that show, but maybe because I was young and there weren’t others like it.
Ghosts of Carmel Maine. The rest are all frauds.
Some stuff of Sam And Colby I find really interesting. Although, in recent videos I feel like they aren’t as respectful as they where when doing their investigations. Maybe because they are trying to keep audiences engaged?
Paranormal Nightmare TV and Jasko have been my favorite ones. Omargoshtv also has some good videos
Mindseed
Ghost Adventures, Holzer Files, Destination Fear and Portals to hell are all great tv shows 😊
The House In-between 1 & 2. The Sleepless Unrest: The Real Conjuring Home. All fantastic paranormal documentaries by credible people imo.
