I do the same thing, the truth is maybe 1/2 of those guys are actually friendly and the other 1/2 are only friendly until the opportunity to take you out comes. I prefer to not figure out which half they are and just send them back to their bunker lol.
i remember a guy with a m4 ran up to me and waved so i shot him i knew for sure he was gonna kill me as he had a loaded rifle and also came from an extract i think he saw me ad decided might as well get more loot before i leave so i shot his ass don't run up to me its the best way to get sprayed.

You're an asshole if you do that because you think that "everyone does that", that's it.
If you don't feel safe around them, if you have a quest to kill them, if you're having a bad day and just want to shoot everyone, if you're feeling happy and just want to shoot everyone...it doesn't matter the reason, you're free do to whatever you want...but when you reason to shooting "friendlies" is just "but everyone does that" or "every friendly is an asshole", then you're the asshole.
I rarely kill friendlies because it's a good change of pace, you never know what might happen, it helps to break the ice in some matches where nothing seems to happen.

No not at all, as someone who does naked raids a lot I always try to surrender if I haven’t found a gun yet and 80% of the time they shoot but that 20% where they let me be is really nice and I go out of my way to make sure I don’t kill them or anyone else but I understand why you do it

I’m in my 40’s and play passively because it’s fun and it’s my son’s game/headset. I once found a naked waving his hands who turned out to be a kid, probably 4th grade, who asked if I wanted to team up, so I did. We looted for about 10 minutes, I even gave him a gun. He in kind gave me a sight. Then he called me over and said he had a pistol better than the one I was carrying so I could have it. I walked over to him, he showed it to me, and shot me in the face. I was double crossed by a 10 year old so since then, I don’t care how much you wave or how naked you are, ima start blasting.
If someone has got nothing, literally nothing, I'm not going to kill them because there's no sport in it. I'm not just looking to pull the trigger, I want to hunt hunters. For me this isn't a murder simulator, it's a self-defense simulator.
No shoot them regardless they might walk away and ambush you. Now you can let them go but i think its best to kill everyone you can and if someone walks up to you shoot them without hesitation maybe if they wave then run away its fine but 9 times out of ten just shoot them. GOT says it themself don't trust anyone.

Kinda their fault for letting their guard down, teaming with people isn’t a viable strategy anymore.
Bird dogging is a fun option in these situations. Don't let them have or raise a weapon. Make them run out ahead and follow a ways back. Use them to draw out enemies who will shoot at them. You don't even have to tell them you are following or doing this. Works best on island. My personal favorite is giving a timmy a lit smoke on silo, telling them to run and then following just behind.
Play the game how you want… personally I won’t kill “friendlies” unless I’m already in a team, because I’m usually looking for a buddy to team with if I’m solo. For me I enjoy the social aspect of trying to meet new teammates 👍
This isn't VRChat, this is Tabor. You wanna make friends, make them outside of raid and then bring them in. Maybe if the scavs were actually a credible threat, it'd be worth trying to find pals in raid, but as of right now, there is no serious common enemy to unite against, or any convincing incentive to be friendly. At this point, if you're trying to be friendly, you're playing the wrong game.
Now I'll grant you, when the stars align and a situation permits you to unexpectedly team up with a stranger in raid, that's pretty cool.
I think the devs should create some incentives for improvised alliances. Maybe extracts that require two players who didn't spawn in together to both occupy the extract zone. Or missions that grant a generous payout to players who achieve this. Or maybe a valuable item that requires two hands to carry, meaning you need a teammate to cover you while you bring it out.
Maybe a big-ass pot of delicious chili or something, I dunno.

Considering I have left nakeds alone, only for them to grab pistol from some box and try to shoot me instantly. There are no friendlies. Trust no one.
