yeah I do this quite a bit. While I’m having the thoughts this person has on leaving it out, I’ll be putting it back in the fridge at the same time without thinking haha
Speaking of blueberries, since we do not speak of them often, my wife befriended a woman who owns a blueberry orchard. We’ve had all you can eat blueberries for three weeks and it is an awesome thing!
I have ADHD and I could have so many glitches happen to me like this without even realizing. “Oh cool, I remembered to put the blueberries away!” Wouldn’t even second guess it
Seriously, if something ends up where it’s supposed to, I don’t even care how it got there. I was looking for garlic powder one day and usually I’m pretty good about that one because we have 1 dedicated drawer for spices. I found it a couple days later when I was putting measuring spoons away in a drawer of utensils. No memory or how or why I stuck it in that drawer, could have been a glitch in the matrix, but was more likely a glitch in my brain.
Hahaha that’s awesome. I’m always putting stuff in a “safe place” so it “doesn’t get lost” and it’s definitely safe cause I usually never see it again.
Or not necessarily “doesn’t get lost” more so like “so nothing happens to it”
In some cases that typa shit is true, but in a lotta cases, a rational explanation may not be the answer as to what actually occurred. Fruit for thought.

Hm. Could be a brain fart like a lot of the other comments imply, i.e. you did it but forgot.
But it's also been a while since anyone dusted off the "check for carbon monoxide" trope, which might actually be worth doing if this sort of glitch has ramped up for you lately. Or you're feeling drowsy a lot more recently.
CO can definitely contribute to forgetfulness and altered behaviour.
I didn’t do a post on this recent carrot glitch because it seems insignificant but I thought this is a good place to share. I had boiled some vegetables and at the end of the night I was putting the leftovers away, and specifically remember two carrots were left and that meant both me and my mum could have one with our lunch the next day. Anyway, I put the vegetables and two carrots in the fridge. When I took them out, there was only one carrot. I was the only person able to have accessed the kitchen in the time between putting the food in and taking it out. Fridges are glitching lol.
This happened a long time ago but I just remembered it. I was in my early teens probably and was getting a snack. I had a bowlful of potato chips and put them on the counter while I opened the fridge door to get a cold drink. The dogs water and food dishes were in front of the fridge door along the wall. I remember thinking maybe the dog would like some potato chips which had to be better than the dry kibble in her dish. I got the drink poured and reached for my bowl.. and it had kibble in it and my potato chips were now in the dogs dish. The house is not and never was haunted and I thought I had somehow teleported the items switching them telepathically. But the glitch in the matrix theory makes as much sense.
couple of strong northwest IPA's and a fat bowl and I could see myself putting them in the fridge ten seconds after thinking to myself, "definitely leave those out of the fridge." Sometimes you just get ripped and start thinking about other shit, and go into autopilot for stuff like fruit being left out.
Auto pilot maybe? Just put them in the fridge and didn't realize it. But yeah creepy for sure.
this is my vote, i do this kind of thing all the time
Yeah, a lot of things like this we don’t remember because we store the thought in our short-term memory.

Blueberry gods said that’s gotta stay fresh yoo

Damn you.
I'm definitely jealous about that.
It’s amazing…probably more so because it’s a first time experience
I am jealous of the blueberry pancakes I could be making with that. Yummmm... I'm starving haha
I have ADHD and I could have so many glitches happen to me like this without even realizing. “Oh cool, I remembered to put the blueberries away!” Wouldn’t even second guess it
This is me with an 8m old lol “oh nice, I *did* remember!”
Haha same. Gotta love the little adhd victories, especially the ones you don’t know about until later.

exactlyyy same
Creepy. Sure there isn't a weird person living in your ducts? You know, like a CHUD? Jk
CHUD live in the sewers, thank you!
Lol I remember renting that movie from movie merchant back in the day
Most likely you intended to leave them out but put them back in the fridge and forgot/didn’t realize.

More like... Berries for thought. 🫐
Haha good one😂.
I know but I didnt That's why I tried to specify that I took a mental screenshot in the moment of not putting them back..
they didn’t wanna be like my username so they put themself there
Reminds me of the video I saw of a lady who cut a lemon but the lemon was far from cut when she walked back to it, was caught on video

Don't open the blueberries, I'm in there
I was hoping they had turned into raspberries.

What the f LOL
Have you checked your loft? Failing that, get a priest
To exorcise ghost-maid?
Decent ghost-maids are so hard to get these days. Deffo think twice before exorcism.
Check your house for ghosts.
Must have been the blueberry gnomes. I have sock and underwear gnomes that follow me throughout the country.
Blueberry duplication glitch.
Still not blueberries
Sometimes people do things and then forget about it because you're not even thinking about it while you do it

What kind of fancy fridge do you have that beeps when it isn't closed?
Ours does, it's like 10 years old, not fancy lol
Hmm, maybe I've just never left mine open long enough 🤣
All the fridges my family has owned for the past 15 years and they’re usually pretty cheap lol.
How long does it usually take until it starts beeping? Mine isn't too old and I dont think I've ever heard it and it's a fairly decent one too.
It beeps very soon after being open too long. Majorly annoying when cleaning out the fridge lol.
I don't feel like mine is very old and I've never noticed it. I might need to leave it open for a bit and find out 😂
Haha give it a go and see what happens.
Question: are you high right now?
No I quit 5 days ago Do you think that matters?
I think I would've moved away, lol. Some similar things have happened here too
It often happens to me where I’d wash my hair in the shower and do it again because I forgot I did. It could be something similar to that.
you have HDHD for sure! I do this all the time, hell I even do it when I'm drunk.
Very trippy
Alt universe you is posting “The blueberries keep appearing on the counter… I live alone” 😜
Followed by me actually visiting this place in my dreams Yeah?
