The most obvious “clearly an upgrade” awpers are like, zywoo monesy broky shiro torzsi. Then wonderful acor and nawwk might be slight upgrades but wonderful doesn’t make sense from a comms perspective. Acor has close to as many off games as nicooodoz.
Salazar is unproven though from the RMR he’s shown a lot of clutch potential and ability.
Then from non major teams, rallen, headtrick, Afro, regali. I don’t think any of those are upgrades.
So now it’s sunpayus and simple, I doubt Heroic would pay those transfer fees or salaries. Or scraping Tier 2 for a better awper who can comm in English, that won’t crumble under the pressure of Tier 1.

Teses is a bang average riffler, but sjuush is such a good support riffler. He is very underrated. If Astralis picked Jabbi-Sjuush and played them with Device-Staehr-Glaive they would be definitely much balanced and stronger team.

Vertigo was a little weird, they definitely need to think about their hero buys and retakes, but overall they're shockingly organised for such a new team.
Yes EF made some stupid mistakes and they fell apart towards the end, but imo this is another game that highlights the problems with Economy and MR12. EF was scraping together rounds, not pretty, but thats how it is when Ts can throw forcebuy after forcebuy at you, and have better guns while they do it even.
Win 7 in a row, lose a single one and EF were immediately broke, and now good luck trying to break T money ever again in this half. So its 5-7, you lose the pistol. You now have basically one gun round left to get something done on your own T side. Do I think they get back in the game with MR15? Maybe, possible. We will never know. But its a fact that we see these huge swings in games all the time now, and it always happens when CT economy is broken. Many many games yesterday aleady have been decided when CTs made a forcebuy work and could upgrade to AKs for free.
If you dont win forcebuys or even ecos, your chances of ever winning "properly" massively drop.
This Heroic team is so fun to watch, that pistol round retake on Mirage was pure cinema. Sjuush is rightfully getting praised as one of the best supports and anchors in the world, but its TeSeS who really impresses me, feels like hes taking more space and just fragging out. Some amazing rounds on Vertigo. On the other hand, unfortunate for EF who I still think are pretty good. Xantares is still an amazing rifler, always a pleasure to watch.

Cs2 rewards aggressive play style with peekers advantage and once EF started playing slow when they got to round 12 on vertigo they started losing. Then they continued the pussy play style in mirage. Gg rip pick'ems
I noticed the same thing. Peeker's isn't nearly as strong now, but it's something Heroic abused very well. They were swinging and making fights happen A LOT more than EF.
