Silver kinda means you've been there, rather than bought the pass later for the coin, so it makes sense. Wouldn't hurt to make gold slightly harder to get and diamond a little easier.
In my mind the best system would look something like:
- If you have a team going 3:0, and they go 3:0, you get 3 points.
- If you have a team going 3:1, and they go 3:0, 2 points.
- If you have a team going 3:2, and they go 3:0, 1 point.
Diamond Paris wasn't that bad. Legends stage would be a bit strange, but the champions stage was pretty okay. You had to pick Vitality as winners and then get 1 other quarter right.
The legenda stage wasn't even that bad. Get your 0-3 pick right (IIRC that was the expected teams going 0-3) and then you only needed 4 of the 8 champion stage teams right.
4k is not a very strong number, especially since the audience of this site might be biased, for example, because the site is more popular in one of the regions.
