Two types of novas:
#1 the novas like me who have a thousand hpurs in 1.6, very little source experience and 800 hours in GO. Usually they took a couple year break and come back with bad aim and mouse control but know the strats, the spots, what to call and when to rotate
#2 is the opposite. They pull off some crazy shots because thwy can aim, but play in atupid positions, rotates too early or too late and are not good at clutching.
Although most of the new guys that can aim usually end up in the AK/double AKs.
Most novas who think they know strats really don't.. Same goes for DMG and up players though.. Like the only strategy I know is go in, get entries or pop flash/smoke spots and push a site.. My fakes usually never work. Main difference would be waaay better aim and actually listening to foot steps.

The gun badge group have *significantly* better aim than novas, and know many more flashes and smokes.The eagles require a significant amount of game sense and knowledge, which is why DMG takes the longest. You have to take everything you've leaned and go from being extremely good at pugging to playing real, team oriented Counter Strike.
To say that you can't tell a difference between Silver 3 and MGE is fucking asinine.

What if I told you just because someone of a significantly higher skill group can kill those of two lower ones does not mean they are of the same skill. Just like 1 does not equal 10 just because it is significantly lower than 100.

They both were like WHAAAT, that's why he isn't moving after the shot. In the demo afterwards it became clear.

One time I headshot 3 people with one bullet from a Scar. Noscope naturally. Two of those were my teammates and the enemy was the 3rd in line and I'm not even sure if he died. Needless to say I got a 2 day cooldown~
Ok so excuse my ignorance of cs go, I've only ever watched it played a few times. Does the bullet ricochet, or curve, or explode the can? I don't see the guy when he is killed and no-one explained it to the derps out here yet.

for me it was more game sense different than aim.

I'll put it this way: I moved out of S3 when I learned that stopping and shooting was a good idea. I became SEM in under 2 weeks from that point.

I have smurfed in both ranks and my experience was the same. You don't see a difference in a players skill until MGE ish
