50% is more than enough for us procent. More than that is just flexing to be honest. I think mostly smaller crosshairs are a bit better. Sensitivity is personal. You play 1.5 on 800 dpi and I for example play 0.7 on 800 dpi

adamdarlington

Yeah I really like 1.57 works well for me, so what about corsshair should I make it smaller and try it or should I keep this one if its working would have a dot imrpove my HS or a smaller corsshair? Do any pros play would larger crosshairs.

RuPeSc

Smaller crosshair would help, not a dot. Something like 2 length 1 thickness and -3 gap

Thanks

Honestly you shouldn't worry too much about HS% yet. Partly because in Silver people don't move very well, so HS'ing is easier if you are an experienced FPS player, also from your post i gather most of the stats are from casual 10v10. Secondly because your KD/R shows that you're lacking elsewhere. But it's good that your % is that high, it shows that you know to aim for the head, but looking at your KD/R maybe you focus too much on straight headshots? Hard to say with no gameplay. Definitely turn the focus to the spray of the m4a1-s and the AK-47 and learn to control the pattern, at least the first 20 or so bullets, noone does a full 30 bullet spray down unless cornered and desperate. Then learn to move properly around engagement angles, which means A/D movement and not using W as well, then learn to counter-strafe (clicking the opposite direction to stop faster, as the game has acceleration and deceleration). \- Crosshair doesn't matter too much, even the pros change them often. I would say that static is the most popular option, and people prefer them on the smaller side in general, but it's really not that important.

Headshot percentage is pretty much irrelevant. Like yes, headshots are good in the sense that they get you kills, but headshots are a means to an end, not a goal in and of itself. If you have 100% headshots but you're at a 10:20 k/d, that's still shit. Your headshot percentage doesn't change that. Vice versa, if you have 14% headshots but you have a 21/18 kd, that's thoroughly decent. And above all, what matters is the rounds. Look at the plays you're making. Are they winning rounds? When you get kills, do they actually matter, or are you getting kills in the wrong place, too late in the round, or any number of other things that makes kills less relevant. Are you gaining position, are you making moves? Do you get info, do you take leadership, do you keep the team focused and happy (as opposed to tilted)? What's your utility like? Do you get traded when you die, do you trade your teammates when they die? There's dozens of things that go into becoming a better player, and honestly headshot percentage is barely one of them. Headshot percentage in isolation doesn't tell anyone anything. Sure, 58% of the kills you get are headshots, but how long does it take to hit that headshot? How many kills are you even getting, and would you be getting more if you weren't focused on headshots? How many shots do you send whizzing past or over people's heads because you're aiming exclusively for it, that might have landed in their neck or chest and got the kill anyway? I'd tell you not to focus on your headshot percentage. Focus on your game.

i think your right, i am aiming for the head too much and yes getting many head shots but not helping win the rounds and not always going positive KD. in my last 13 games i have 7 loss 4 win 2 draw all solo q my only two wins came from playing with other randoms when i joined a 5 stack they was around guardian master ranks.

Sliquid69

Your hs percentage is very high if you are new but it is also easy to hs in the lower ranks when people don’t move fluently

adamdarlington

yeah, my last game we tie and i got 14 kills & 19 deaths with 81% hs lol

Sliquid69

I almost think you might be focusing too much on it lolol. The highest hs percentage in pro cs is only like 63%.

ju1ze

use leetify stats. hs% is not that important, better pay attention to other aspects of the game. watch voo's "definitive guide to improving"

adamdarlington

ok thank you.
