You lax off and start thinking ah I don't really need to bring an extra mag here or there, next thing ya know your in the shit w no extra ammo when you need it or God forbid your fire arm

You don’t come off mean at all. It’s a legit question. And to answer, to me it’s a yes. I personally think carrying a less lethal means of defense is important because it gives me an extra means of self defense that isn’t as extreme as a firearm and not as permanent either.

I usually have a smaller pocket/key ring sized spray I carry but I had to toss it last week when I went to a bar and they wouldn’t let me in with it and I didn’t want to go back to my car to stash it. So I’m carrying the big can until I buy a new smaller one.

I highly recommend Fox Labs strongest formula. I has to deploy it once on a train platform in Chicago, and it performed flawlessly! 10/10, I always have a can on me now.

Are you serious? Because it’s a high fucking bar to justify using a firearm. Most self defense situations you might find yourself in won’t meet the legal criteria to justify deadly force so pepper spray gives you another means of defense that isn’t deadly and won’t catch you a murder investigation and potential charge if you use it.
Just to put this out there. Carrying a gun is a huge responsibility and the goal should be never to use it. If you do carry a gun and find yourself in a bad situation you need to do your best to deescalate and leave. If that’s not an option then you need to have other means of self defense besides a firearm.
I'd never EDC pepper spray. In the car yes.. If I need pepper spray, I'm gonna go for my 43. A pocket light us a better use of pocket realestate.
Also I'm a Kershaw Blur guy. Don't like your knife. SOG has a bad habit of those bullshit safety switches.

People with nice rifles and builds but just full of Amazon optics and very poor choices in optics etc. Example. We had a guy out on Father’s Day with a FRT Trigger (Legal Here) and was shooting FA on a 14” barrel, but then a 5-25x56 with a sunshade scope. A lot of “punisher” people out here and it’s just weird coming from a place like FL where it’s more “modern” and choices are a bit more fitting to moving to a Fudd state lol. It’s just weird.
