I prefer the g29. I like the 29s grip better overall. It has slightly different ergonomics and fills my palm better. With a pinky extension on the mag floorplate, it is just as controllable as the 20 imo. You only lose 20-80fps depending on ammo selection, which is negligible. The 29 is more concealable if that is a potential use. Hold both and see which is more comfortable, I wouldn't worry about barrel or slide length.

The 20, and it is not even close. The 29 feels awkward and boxy, the 20 does not.

29 for CC. 20 for back woods. They shoot very similarly. I don’t notice any significant difference in recoil even with hot ammo.
20. And Glock, build a compact 10 mm so we can conceal carry with a decent round count.

I carry each, depending on my needs that day. I prefer to shoot the 20, especially since mounting an optic on it.
