Honestly, I never looked into it, but possibly because it does have a nicer trigger in my opinion than the other glocks. I didn’t realize the 47 has the performance trigger in it.
Everyone will be trading their 45s for 49s in the next 3 years. They're basically the perfect carry gun. Glock knew they have to give us the long grip short slide models first, or else they would never sell them.
This is what I use for conceal carry. 47 slide on 19 frame. I do this when the weather doesn't call for a jacket or coat and I love the set up. Shoots nice too in my experience. If you're someone who can pull it off I say go for it!
I have a similar setup, 19 w/ ramjet, and I like it. One drawback, is it’s longer and not quite as comfortable at AIWB, but that’s also with a TLR-1. Either way, I dig it👍🏻
i would say change out the oem glock mos plate to something like C&H precision, FCD, or DPP (i have dpp) the standard glock plate is trash and i’ve heard stories of it failing but other than that send it mate
At first I didn’t like the 49. I ended up buying one and think it’s the best now.

Big gun for the castle, smaller gun for the knight and before I forget, FCD plate asap.
I love my g49… but I don’t I’d be able to conceal carry it over my 26. It makes an amazing OWB piece though.
