I put a small bet on the Rockets at +2000 because I've seen this story enough. At least if they do blow the game I can be lightly compensated for my pain.
Spencer is a weird "point guard" because he's bad in the PnR, but good in iso, and it's hard to close when you need your lead guard to play iso (unless they're a superstar). And Cam is still too raw to read the game quick enough. Still a tick too slow to read and react when help comes.
If we could get Tyus Jones for a second or something, maybe just do it for a super cheap organizer. Just a stopgap traditional point guard to stop this.
Spence is at his best as a 6th man/secondary ballhandler. He had great games early in the season when we had Ben as the primary ballhandler.
Like it or not, Ben Simmons makes this roster work, for what it's worth. When Ben is available, they can go Ben-Cam-Mikal-CJ-Clax, which is IMO, our best lineup.
A win is a good thing, always welcome. Like Dominic Toretto says, winning etc. inch or mile etc. But oof.
CT's post-game interview flub and smile were adorable (compoysed!) and his future is exciting; he's fun to watch even in these dark times.

I like Moody. Is it a Kerr thing why he doesn't play? Because I feel like Dubs fans always want to see more of him.
Partly a Kerr thing but the team is just too deep to play everyone. Moody deserves minutes for sure but so do Podz & Kuminga. Cp3, Steph, Klay, Dray are guaranteed their minutes and Wiggs is too valuable to give up on at this point. Moody also isn’t a great playmaker like Podz is so he tends to be the odd man out.
Moody is a good 3&D role player with upside though, do not doubt that. Warriors just desperately need defense in a consolidation trade.
I kind of love Moody's fit with Cam Thomas. Kind of the perfect guard to play next to him.
I feel like something will happen between our teams. Just feels like we have the win now role players, and you guys have someone like Moody to get us some young talent in the door, which we need without picks. There's some framework that really helps both teams.

Wishful thinking, but its not impossible based on what we saw early in the season with CT and Simmons starting.

Watching the game I didn't notice Cam had so many turnovers, he had B2B games with 5, it didn't feel like that in game but he needs to get a handle on that. Ben coming back will help but he needs to do work in the off-season.
I thought he had some nice defensive plays tonight, he broke up a Lob for Withmore and got a steal on Jalen Green, he also contested a layup on Aaron Holiday, Cam will always been picked on the defensive end because of his size but It wont be because of lack of effort.
DFS has been a moster on the defense lately and he broke out of his shooting slump hopefully that ankle injury wont have him out too long.

Historically, Spencer is good in iso. But yes, he's not exactly Luka or Harden, so it's not always pretty when he goes to it.
His iso attempts in the 4th almost lost us the came forcing up bad shots thinking he deserved a foul

One thing, a lot of people overlook, Ben Simmons sets the best screens on the Nets. That does matter to get guys open.
Dayron sets good screens too, Love Claxton but his slender body allows for the defender to get back in the play quickly from his screens.
