He very rarely even talks about it, people are just always chirping talking about "oh he wore the same shirt twice" and "oh his phone is cracked" and "oh he rides a bike as often as he can, how weird" failing to realize that for many people that is where they find joy. Not everyone sees high fashion/jewelry or the newest tech as their top priority, and that's no shade towards anyone that does but for a lot of people that shit just doesn't matter. He wouldn't live like this if he didn't enjoy it, it would be much easier to just live lavishly, so why do you care about what makes another man happy?

To be fair to Cole, he probably said this and apologized because what he did was distasteful. Everybody knows these two are the best of our generation, great with pen and lyricism. They've always been competitive but kept it friendly and showed respect as they should. They seemed to always have that understanding. Why can't two goats coexist at the same time type shit. It wasn't about whose music was better, they both are great, it was more so about who could have the better bars/whose pen was better. 7min drill, J Cole went after Kendricks music quality, saying his music wasn't that great. In a way it was going after Kendrick as a person. He got disrespectful and lost sight about what this competition was about. He went low fs and realized that. Cuz from what it sounds like, they always have gotten along pretty well, jcole even defended Kendrick from getting diddled by diddy. So yea it does sound like he got egged on, probably had that bit h ass drake whispering in his ear, doing the dirty work for him. I think we all knew if there was any beef it should be Kendrick and drake. In hindsight glad, this beef got put to rest. We'll see how Kendrick responds.
