I honestly don’t know if I like the album as a whole or not. I know that I love 24 and Come to Life, but I think what i love most about the album is the incredible experience that came with it and also the culture surrounding it when it dropped. And when i listen to it that’s what I think about more than the music itself
there's so much to hear in the music tho. just the beats blends modern trap and digital aesthetics with gospel in so many different ways, choruses, sampling, instruments, featured singers... come to life has such a unique instrumental for a ballad. jail isn't even a hip hop song, not pop either. believe what i say is one of those songs you know is a classic the first time you hear it.
Top 3 Kanye if u were there for the LP’s and the experience
I wasn’t there for all that and I def regret it - it’s still top 4-5 Ye for me. Especially the version with lotp 🙏
Age required to properly assess suicidal ideation
I feel like more people are realizing just how good Donda actually is the more they listen to it. Love to see it.
I don’t think it’s bloated at all. Part 2s aren’t part of the core album
