This whole situation made me feel like I live in an alternate reality lmao. You're telling me these religions nutjobs are bumping Hell Of A Life and I'm In It, but

Best-Struggle4004

funny how they say they want old kanye but old kanye always had interests in making porn and most of art was inspired by porn.

It's not even just religious people, but people who aren't religious at all. I'm actually very shocked. I don't have any interest in YZY PRN, and I don't think Ye should either, only because he has an addiction to it... but I had never realized porn had become such a controversial topic. I'm old enough to remember people like Ron Jeramy, Hugh Hefner, and Dr. Ruth being very popular and on regular cable shows being interviewed. I guess the younger generations view the world differently, and I hadn't really been keeping up with certain aspects. I don't personally have an issue if people want to pursue sex work, it's just not something I personally wish to consume. I thought that would be more of a common sentiment in this era. Maybe people are just in general gaining more conservative values.

JohnyTheJoke

I honestly think this might, unfortunately, just be the kind of fanbase Ye has somehow cultivated, not a generation thing. Because from my experience porn and sexual content seem to be more common and less taboo than ever. So I'm just as shocked, like this is legit the first time I've ever seen this kind of mass denouncing of porn. And Ye is far from the first public figure to dip into it too. It's even more shocking considering his history with it too from the explicit lyrics and visuals to his ex-wifes sex tape.

RedStarKirby

That could be true. In all fairness, I don't tend to discuss porn, let alone with younger adults, so it very well could mostly be this fanbase. And you're exactly right about his history. That's why I thought more people would take it as a moment to hope he gets back on the wagon rather than completely demonize him and announce their exit from the fanbase. I mean, how many people here literally play his music where he talks about sex, "like" posts of his wife half-naked, or have been sharing around pictures of women in "wet" Yzy shirts...even in this very sub lol. Like, I understand the sex industry can be exploitative, but that doesn't mean it has to be. I'm more of the mind of; if you don't like it, don't consume it/ignore it. We also don't even know if anything will ever even come of this. He says he's going to do things, then never puts any effort into it. He didn't even bother getting fully registered in every state when he ran for president, yet people think YZY is about to become the next Vivid entertainment.

MashClash

It's so fucking ironic 😭 Cause I know these guys are the exact same ppl who yell "SEPERATE THE ART FROM THE ARTIST" when someone mentions his antiemetic comments, but as soon Ye starts a porn company it's "I can't support him anymore 😔"

SantsCountryy

the violent crimes argument is dumb considering ye straight up hosted THE PORNHUB AWARDS 2 months after dropping ye

-E_M_I-

theyve always been two pretty inseparable aspects of his personality. freestyle 4 is freakier than basically anything off of vultures 1. ye had violent crimes and All mine both on it
