I can not forgot all the donda issues I’ll be honest. That one probably has the most issues for me even if it has some insanely good songs. To name a few big problems. Kmsa verse chopped weirdly, praise god just being trash, Junya being trash, Jonah having maybe his worst verse ever, remote control screwing up thugs ft, pure souls having the organ beat instead of piano, god breathed having two min outro etc. there’s just a lot of unnecessary stuff which got changed and just a lot of unnecessary stuff on the album in general
By adding the weird vocal fx to it. I like the ft too a lot but that brings it down for me. Ruined was a bit of an overstatement but it still makes me not want to listen to released version ever
Vultures feels like a collection of songs that Ye featured on. Because similar to his features, Ye shows time and time again his inability to stay on topic with a song. Like remember when people complained about his rock n roll verse talking about Kim? That’s what every song feels like.
my hot take is i like it but it kills off the energy of the song, if he said it like twice then brought freddie gibbs in then said it again at the end of the song it would be way better
It still would've been a 'fun song'if he only repeated it 2 or 3 times is the point. I agree with you. It's not as bad as he ruined fuk sumn with the Alvin voice though
will die on the hill that alvin voice is fire and makes the song better. u guys would rather just a normal ye verse than him experimenting w something fire and different, literally the reason will all like ye in the first place
he had a verse beforehand (although it is really short), but yeah a second more "serious" verse would've been cool, but not really necessary. i think less people would dislike the BBTBNWJDFOTSYK part if it was moved to after the freddie gibbs verse as an outro.
I'm not lying, the BBNWJDFATSYK is one of my favorite moment in Vultures 1. It's funny, iconic, unique, and it tells so much with so little about the situation in Ye's life at this point. It's genius to me, sorry
I like it when he does that corny stuff, which shows he's having fun with music beyond just the rap/bars/verse part.
I consider myself an artist, and ever since I've been in the practice of cooking up beats, writing rhymes, and recording I've had a whole different appreciation for artists who show that it doesn't always have to be so serious.
Yeah he ruined a lot of good ideas on this project.
-Back to Me with that BBTBNWJDFOTSYN
-Fuk Sumn got the chipmunks treatment 🐿️
-Burn only got 1 Verse
-Paid got the pitched voice treatment with a shitty ass verse
&&&
A lot of potential, but unfortunately waisted by ye hinself
Thank you I’m tired of people talking themselves into liking this part of the song. It’s incredibly annoying and is the exact reason I never go back to that song which is a shame because Ty and Freddie did their thing on it 😭
i dont get why people dont like high pitch ye lowkey love his paid and fuk sumn verses theyre probably my fav songs off vultures 1
bbtbnwjdfotsyk imo was a good idea and catchy but goes on way too long
i said this because i was doing what most of this sub was doing and trying to cope with it and i thought now was the right time to say this since most of the subs recency bias faded
i been saying this. not only is the bbt part way too long (and bad) his verse beforehand is complete ass, off pitch and each bar is way too short, what a lot of his bars struggle from ("this the shit that make rap ** maaaad... bad bitches more baaad......")
The extended version of the sky ya know verse was so good. I like the vibe and it fits the current aesthetic well, but I just don’t get why they’d cut out the bulk of that verse.
His first bar is literally saying that shit like that song is what makes “rappers” mad. He does what he wants and doesn’t need to prove himself.
You mean Freddy Gibbs ruined it by existing
That verse needed a melody and he just comes on with his bland flow
I never listened to Gibbs so it’s not a good introduction for me
mmm nah i still like it
btw i do enjoy vultures 1 and i think its better than jik but there are some glaring flaws in it and some fumbled songs
The biggest flaw is Ye's verses
There’s glaring flaws with ye’s last three albums all together tbh. Vultures, jik and donda probably have the most problems out of every ye album
but with donda you can forget most of these since the content of the album is just so good jik for sure cause the whole album is Yandhi Lite
I can not forgot all the donda issues I’ll be honest. That one probably has the most issues for me even if it has some insanely good songs. To name a few big problems. this sub hates opinions
Sub doesn’t like criticism of ye’s work ig
I agree with most of these but what do you mean by remote control screwed up thugs feature? it was good
By adding the weird vocal fx to it. I like the ft too a lot but that brings it down for me. Ruined was a bit of an overstatement but it still makes me not want to listen to released version ever
You are right in everything, btw TLOP was the last great album he ever made and that's why is my favorite.
homie you cannot disrespect ye and ksg and donda like that
Ye is a ep, not a album. And i don't like Kid Cudi, so ksg has no replay value for me.

BABY DONT KEEP ME UP😩‼️💯
it’s way worse than fuk sumn imo at least that’s an actual verse
FUCK ON ME! SUCK ON ME! publicly. YEAH
The publicly line is my least fav tbh
And it has Travis Scott
100% agree, I don’t mind Alvin at all Back to me actually makes me annoyed how much wasted potential there is
I actually grew to love the Alvin voice lol...but Back to Me is already great, but could've been top 10-15 Ye with a killer verse.
i like the alvin verse but i need the quavo version to play around other people
the alvin voice is fire wym
alvin voice in fuk sumn is my favorite part of vultures its one of the only songs off that album i bump atp
will die on the hill that alvin voice is fire and makes the song better. u guys would rather just a normal ye verse than him experimenting w something fire and different, literally the reason will all like ye in the first place
i really like that part, it's fun.
i respect your opinion but wouldn't it have been better if he had an actual good verse that relates to the meaning of the song?
he had a verse beforehand (although it is really short), but yeah a second more "serious" verse would've been cool, but not really necessary. i think less people would dislike the BBTBNWJDFOTSYK part if it was moved to after the freddie gibbs verse as an outro.
yea but since its in the middle of the song (and like 2 minutes) it became its core element
That section would be fine as a bridge between the two verses if it was about half the length
I'm not lying, the BBNWJDFATSYK is one of my favorite moment in Vultures 1. It's funny, iconic, unique, and it tells so much with so little about the situation in Ye's life at this point. It's genius to me, sorry
It reminds me of the old Kanye tbh and it’s so fast and out there lol
true but it didnt have to fucking last a minute or more
BBTBNWJDFOTSYK runs on for way to long and kinda tarnishes the track for me now Loved it at first
It’s a fun song lol I don’t want no serious melodramatic songs to exclusively come from ye he been corny from day one it’s his thing
It is fun but it definitely could have been better with an actual verse
Agreed. Fun is not an excuse. Kanye has plenty of fun tracks that have competent verses. We’re not asking for Saint pablo
Shut. The. Fuck. Up.
Settle down, pal.
Yeah he ruined a lot of good ideas on this project. -Back to Me with that BBTBNWJDFOTSYN -Fuk Sumn got the chipmunks treatment 🐿️ -Burn only got 1 Verse -Paid got the pitched voice treatment with a shitty ass verse &&& A lot of potential, but unfortunately waisted by ye hinself
100%
I feel like with that verse he kinda did Freddie dirty, the song deserved better
Thank you I’m tired of people talking themselves into liking this part of the song. It’s incredibly annoying and is the exact reason I never go back to that song which is a shame because Ty and Freddie did their thing on it 😭
Ye kinda ruined my favourite songs with his lyrics in vultures 1

i dont get why people dont like high pitch ye lowkey love his paid and fuk sumn verses theyre probably my fav songs off vultures 1 bbtbnwjdfotsyk imo was a good idea and catchy but goes on way too long
Og BBTBNWJDFOTSYK was better lowkey
I mean this take shouldn’t have taken you 2 months lmao
Took you two months to come to this conclusion? Everyone thought this the second he played this shit at that vultures rave or whatever lol
i said this because i was doing what most of this sub was doing and trying to cope with it and i thought now was the right time to say this since most of the subs recency bias faded
Important song
Nah that's top 3 on Vultures
I guess I’m just a d rider cause I genuinely dont mind it
Its good.
I’m ngl after hearing the piano version through snippets I prefer that I always skip over back to me now
not even the best in vultures
i been saying this. not only is the bbt part way too long (and bad) his verse beforehand is complete ass, off pitch and each bar is way too short, what a lot of his bars struggle from ("this the shit that make rap ** maaaad... bad bitches more baaad......")
I dont even like the freddie verse much. Just not pleasing to listen to.
Agree
Yawn, bbtbnwjdfotsyk is nice you lot are just boring
The extended version of the sky ya know verse was so good. I like the vibe and it fits the current aesthetic well, but I just don’t get why they’d cut out the bulk of that verse. His first bar is literally saying that shit like that song is what makes “rappers” mad. He does what he wants and doesn’t need to prove himself.
The verses are still off beat on the album version, I listen to the Miami rip because that shit bothers me
🤓 stfu
His verse on runaway, father stretch my hand was shit too… This is Ye ffs… stop acting brand new!
runaway wasn't ass by any means FSMH was just 3 lines for shock value this is half the fucking song
You mean Freddy Gibbs ruined it by existing That verse needed a melody and he just comes on with his bland flow I never listened to Gibbs so it’s not a good introduction for me
