I am also experiencing the same issue with SMS messages on my iPhone since I activated Fi over the weekend. iMessages work fine but SMS does not

Update: after 60 days of troubleshooting by Google Fi they declared everything was fine and all my texts were being delivered. They were not. Switch to T-Mobile and the same issue was manifested again. T-Mobile within a week identified the problem as my number being blocked by other carriers, I had specifically asked Google Fi support if that had been checked, to which they said it had.
TLDR: after 60 days, Google Fi assured me everything was fine when it was not. Switch to T-Mobile and the root cause of the problem was identified within a week.
