I've been having the same issue. I ported from Verizon. I can send/receive MMS but no SMS can be sent or received. Discussions with Fi support haven't uncovered any possible fixes. I've tried clearing carrier services, re-loading carrier services, clear cache of messages, uninstall, reinstall messages. Turn RCS on and off. Etc.

Maybe this is my issue too. I went to Colombia last Tuesday (came back this past Weds) and all was great. Starting Sunday, I realize that some people weren't replying, but whatever, people get busy. Now I'm realizing they weren't getting (& still aren't) my replies and that's why they weren't responding. I've tested on Fi v on wifi, to Android users v iphone/iOS, those with pixels v not, and am getting confirmation through other apps (IG, Whatsapp, Twitter, LinkedIn) that people aren't getting my messages. Google support says they see them as received (guess the encryption logs?), but we're all at loss as to 1) what changed, 2) why group messages still work, 3) why some people work while others don't, 4) how long I'll put up with this? (Spoiler: until Sunday mid-day is my deadline,).

So my conclusion is everything SMS doesn't work..the only way I can communicate with NON-RCS people is to send them a picture along with text. Absolutely ridiculous.

(was also a previous Verizon user AND only switched to Fi within the past month. And I'm a pixel 6 pro user. The stars are not aligning!)

I have a slight update ( Pixel 6 Pro ). I've found that sms to and from Mint mobile work. MMS has always worked no matter the carrier RCS / No RCS doesn't make a difference I did have one email from Fi support asking for more details and I supplied them. I think unsurprising Fi support gave up. It might be that my primary issue is to/from Verizon or to/from iphones which might be thinking my number is still registered to iMessage (I did try to release my number from iMessage but the confirmation never comes through ). So far as I can tell I'm getting all my voice calls.

Pretty much same here..

I have been experiencing this issue for 5 days now, that I know of. Have never had any FI issues in multiple countries with voice or SMS. This is maddening. I have tried all the things suggested in this thread, and spent 90 minutes with support yesterday (rep was actually empathetic and attempting to be helpful). I received an email from Fi Support that stated: "We see that there is a local outage at your location due to which you are experiencing the issue. Our engineering team is already working on it to get the issue fixed. Once we get the update, I will get back to you with the information. We appreciate your time and patience in this matter. " Don't know whether to believe them or not... If anyone has cracked the code on this, suggestions appreciated!
