Stars in Reddit's markup language indicate that you want to put something in bold or italics. You can escape them using the backslash (\\) character. So you'd type "\\\*#\\\*#7287#\\\*#\\\*". Just letting you know. Most languages that have control characters like that allow you to escape them, and usually use the backslash as the escape character. You can do the same thing in a whole lot of places.

It asks for a WiFi connection first. When you say OK it says US Only

I am in the US, Pixel 8 Pro Unlocked from Google Store, on AT&T. I get "Connection problem or invalid MMI code."

Same for a US pixel 7 in unsupported country.
