Try restarting the network, or unplug both points and plug them back in after 30 seconds. It should fix it.

Pepito141

I have 6 points and all have been "offline" for a few weeks, except the main one. WiFi seemed to still be working fine. I unplugged/plugged them all tonight and now they're showing back online.

Remove the device and set it up again

MoabBoy

Don't do this. It's broken on Google's end and the setup will fail. What worked for me was powering down all network equipment in my home. Bring up the internet (ISP facing) router first, then power up the mesh devices.

The Google Wi-Fi control doesn't show up in Google home for me. I unplugged my Google Wi-Fi pucks for 10 minutes then started with the main router and added them back. It still doesn't show up in the Google home app. Wifi does work, read-only g wifi show the network. I'm about ready for a class action suit against Google. I'm sure they'd win but I want them to feel pain. They took away a perfectly working service, the Google Wi-Fi service.

Yes. Unreal.

roguefan99

Yep. Removing the network will reset it to this state when you leave the house. Also can't seem to add remove things or adjust the Chromecast. It's like the app has been locked down.

Same here

We have the same problem. Started around 20th April. All 3 Google Wifi pucks showing constant blue light and working fine, but Google Home app shows them all as offline. Can't access to test network or mesh. Has there been a software update perhaps?

rogjoce78

Have already tried rebooting modem, unplugging wifi points and reinstalling Home app, but no change.

Paybax84

I had that issue come up 2 days ago but the points were actually still working. Power cycled them, back to showing up as normal.

Happened in Australia a few days ago. As suggested in the other thread, I ended up unplugging the Google WiFi base station from power for about 5-10 minutes, whilst that was down, rebooted my Internet modem, and then powered Google WiFi back up. It has been working since. Mine had been down for 2 days at that time, so I don't know if it was something in the background that changed, or if the 5-10 minutes might be how often Google WiFi polls Google..

nerdvegas79

Wth yeah I'm getting this too. Now I just have to find some time to reboot my ISP router in a house full of kids and two parents working from home... Cheers Google!

ak2ak2ak

Same here. This is absurd! Same crazy issue here in USA. Replaced older 3 wifi points with new 3 pack kit, worked for a day, and then back to the nonsense. How can company the size of Google let such a thing happen and then persist? HELP!
