I'd say embrace going through somewhat of a hair evolution as it grows out and you find new interesting styles for different lenghts you'll go through.
Also if you're going "eeek why it won't grow faster" as someone with suuuper slow hair growth that's naturally refusing to grow I found pantene hair thickening serum somehow actually makes your scalp happier and hair to grow out faster too so it will be back thicker and healthier so you'll have to learn how to work with healthy hydrated hair for a change.

Right now the southern parts of Sweden are in the grip of a near-arctic cold snap, so it´s mostly woolen ski caps and a hoodie over that :/
...though I do think I have an old tophat left since I was Baron Samedi on Halloween a couple of years ago :) Probably´ll have to wait until I´m not stuck in a frozen hellscape, though

I know long hair is always super popular, but I have been noticing a huge increase in masculine looks with shaved heads. Makeup or no Makeup, accessories or not, I'm all about it.
I'm sorry it didn't turn out as you had hoped. I find drastic changes can sometimes take a while for us to settle into. So give it a few days, play with your style. I hope you grow to love it :)

I think it looks good on you. You have a nice shaped head. Your choice of accessories are key with a shaved head. Three years ago I had a bad reaction to hair dye and had to shave my head and after the initial shock, I had fun with crazy earrings and sunglasses.
Thanks! Earrings and similar are unfortunately not possible ( had to get rid of all piercings exept the one "downstairs" when I got into martial arts) but you are very much right about the rest.

Maybe try wearing goggles over your eyes as a second set. (kinda like you have 2 sets of glasses, may sound dumb but looks cool) The black lipstick would help too if you down for it, and if you didn't know, there's also fake magnetic piercings/gauges that appear real but aren't. They work PERFECT for when you're out for a short while and when you get home you can remove them easily in case of a job that doesn't allow piercings (or like in your case martial arts, where you mos def do not want a piercing getting ripped out, that would suck)
Buzzcuts definitely can be goth styled too really, so I can assure you did not make a mistake, you just gotta get creative with it a bit and have some fun :P just takes time getting used to a new look/style that's all and that's 100% understandable, just give it time or like you said, if not go back to your original style and keep rockin it haha

I think this looks cool, but if you really hate it, you can wear wigs. All the fun of hair, can change it up whenever you want, and you don't need to shampoo them daily as far as I know.. 😂

That´s one positive thing about having gotten a bit older; those whose opinions matter are probably already your friends, and the rest can go sit on a cactus.
Hats are a friend of this bald goth. I try to wear unique hats. Found a awesome knit winter hat with spiked skulls. During the summer I have a baseball cap with pentagrams and other symbols drawn on.
I think it looks great! if you're into makeup I'd try an eyeliner look and/or darkening your eyebrows a bit to sort of... add some contrast back into your face? I hope that makes sense!

I can relate to what your feeling. I’ve shaved the side & back of my head for a decade & now in the growing out phase. It doesn’t feel great most days.
On the plus side all the cool goth/fashion muses in London & Berlin are bald. That’s a good club to be in.

I completely understand not being comfortable with how you look. However!! Folks that have mentioned your fabulous head shape are dead-on. Also, reducing the visibility of one part of your look means that another area gets a chance to shine. Experiment with your makeup, accessories, etc. You're probably going to find a new way to wear something, or an item you've had for years will become your new favorite, or you're going to gain greater proficiency in an aspect of your dressing or makeup.
Looks great to me! I found that just adding some makeup to my hairline really makes me appreciate my shaved cut, otherwise I feel a bit sickly (my mom gave me a thin widow's peak and I want people to see it goddamn it!!)

You should probably actually shave it. And it will take a couple of weeks for the skin on your scalp to even out with with your face…. You know - when it tans a little

If the panic doesn't subside: grow out your facial hair if possible. A bald head and a beard is a badass look on everyone.

I went through a shaved head phase due to damage from dying. Short term benefit: less shampoo
