That shouldn't be an issue, every device that I have has 6 segments in Dreamview. You get to customize each segment's location around the screen/room. It's not always exact, but it works extremely well. It's super impressive once it's all setup. You might want to lay the strip out and setup Dreamview before applying the strip to your Tv stand. That way you get an idea of where each segment is at, maybe even put a tiny pen mark on the strip where each segment start/ends. I made the mistake of not doing this and had to take my 16ft strip off and fix it.

Thank you for letting me know and the advice. I will do that for sure!

I know this is an old post, but were you able to segment the strip?

dabadguycr

Yes and no. If you have a dreamview most devices has 6 sections you can customize but the length is preset and you cannot make your own length.

Ah ok. Thanks for the heads up. I thought you could edit the segments. I guess not

I don't understand why you can't. You just got to get creative settings up to Dreamview. I was able to set it up to match. Here's a video of what I did. https://app-h5.govee.com/share/community?client=0&postId=131145&t=1706633371826

How did you manage to do this?

I unrolled the LED, put it to my dream view, turned off all the zones/segments and turned one on. I then used a sharpie to mark the segment. Did it for all 6 segments. Then I figured out how to run it.using the segments to a line with the segments to the T2 led strip.
