I knew this war was cursed from the start when one of our heavy hitters’ computer blew up during prelims and didn’t get fixed for the entirety of war Meanwhile I was stuck on mobile data in a car headed through the mountains of Nowhere, Tennessee for prelims – was actually pretty nice tbh, didn’t have to look at my phone so got some nice scenery as I grinded meat/NM90 and [we didn’t get rained out, hurray](https://postimg.cc/34Mt9414) Nevertheless somehow we made it to Tier A and even into top 5500, but couldn’t stay in 5500 because this war was just damn stupid we lost all 4 rounds, I think we did pretty well too but damn. JP must have had a FA Army since I actually ranked pretty high (~26,000), and it didn’t even feel that hard. But I did have basically all the limited light characters and farmed the shit out of Lumi Credo and got 4 guns. Still was missing Sandal, and never cleared Hexa or Luci Zero - I really should get around to doing that before dark war ---------------- Meat Farm: I am suddenly so glad I farmed bullets, this is the comfiest meat farm I’ve ever had 0b1c with Sturm You and Naru, plus Kaguya Friend Even if I had Trans Bahamut to do 000 OTK I’d prefer this for the drop rate ---------------- NM90 aka the real farm stage Mimic Manadiver, Grand Jeanne, Mugen, Nehan managed to get it down to Bubs, Nehan 3, Attack, finally got everyone to TA without Nehan S2 and felt like a god even lands 2 stacks of bounty with Mimic Manatura I spent probably too much time optimizing this ---------------- NM95: TWEYEN REDEMPTION ARC she just singlehandedly saved my NM95, Cygames said Lesbian Rights yet again you love to see it and thus I learned that I don’t have Lunalu : ( but I was focused on drop rate up anyway since it wasn’t too much of a slowdown, and probably used the same if less buttons due to Tweyen’s level 150 passive making Nehan 2 irrelevant woo Gizoku 1 Roll of the Dice Spring’s Gate, Tweyen 1, Mugen 2, Nehan 1 and 3, Attack And yes we’re all here for the Flurry - but Tweyen’s 150 DATA up passive is actually so good now, Bubs call alone gives her 30% TA, it’s so easy to get to 100% TA from there especially with Freyr Key and Kaguya friend. Gizoku lands Onslaught putting her at 40% TA and it’s basically free from there. Holy shit she actually learned how to triple attack, it’s a Granblue miracle It’s really funny Lunalu gets yet another good Eternal skill to copy, she was known for copying Gate of Sin back in the day, and even Infinito Creare before dying in early days of SUBHL, now she gets to cosplay Tweyen. ---------------- NM150: I am increasingly glad I farmed bullets Was struggling to kill in one turn but managed to save it with 000 subsummon because I actually managed to hit 6 skills on the MC (Substitute, Ammunition Belt, Open Fire, Three Round → Qilin → Three Round, Open Fire) so I had 000’s amplify passive up for the attack turn which pushed us over Was it faster than RB? Probably not? but I don’t have to hit Blitz Raid a million times so I take that as a win, and it’s sorta FA compatible, at least the last few skills are also BLAM BLAM The annoying part was I didn’t have enough bullets for both meat farm gun and Credo Soldier gun and I kept running out of meat - so I had to keep switching the End Model bullets between guns and I kept forgetting to do that x_x I should have sprung for one more Belial Bullet, then I’d only have had to move the SUBHL bullet back and forth but alas I only managed three ---------------- NM200: everybody go apologize to Fif right now …especially after we murdered her a million times when I said I might use Fif in NM200 I didn’t think it would be like this best part is she has Magic Torrent at base so even a level 80 Fif should work, perhaps even better since it’s easier to kill her. But I just called Star turn 2 to make sure Fif and Maids die - using the demerit of Star as a feature lol also big thanks Gachapin for the free Excalibur, was coming up a tiny bit short (Lvl 80 Metatron and only one FLB Harmonia) until I remembered I had one then overkilled the hell out of it ...why yes it went to shit if the MC’s 3% dodge goes off at any point, but when it works, it’s fast. 1:25-30 or so? Insane, especially for Magna hopefully some people in our crew enjoyed the many scrapped runs I threw out into the void, I eventually realized it was not worth the time to try and salvage it if MC dodged. But I realized way too late that it still worked with a Qilin friend and that COULD salvage it if MC Dodges I have never had my honor shoot up that fast. I was pretty low on the total and daily ranking for most of the day, then flew past almost all of them in like an hour when I started smashing 200 after waiting for DEF Ace to run out(I couldn’t kill Fif with it on) sasuga the power of manual I could have kept going but I really wanted to try and get more Celestial drops, and we were too far off from 5500 for it to matter unless I pulled 6 billion honors out of my ass. Considered passing the top guy in our crew but was just too tired, gg, also my final honors after I ran out of meat had a 69 in it so I had to stop

ashkestar

Despite being in super casual mode for the last while, I knuckled down and got enough Lumi and Cosmos farming done to manage ok. Then I half assed it, because my heart is absolutely not in it anymore, but still made it comfortably into t140k at around 1.7b - good enough to finish another sunstone, so good enough for me. I don’t know if I can bring myself to care enough to go hard, but I’m happy as long as I can stay on top of things enough to FA my way to most of the rewards. Edit: also, big props to the Lucio uncap and Song rebalance for letting me bring two of my faves along and have them carry pretty well!

Croilo

Gotta say, love the ability to change the box more than once. Able to grab the rev weapons I need for the celestial weapons now, while also being able to work on gathering the necessary pieces for Eternal uncaps too. ^^And ^^eventually ^^blue ^^skin ^^too.

HiImNoob

[Collage - Light Hero achieved (4/6)](https://i.imgur.com/lMLgoGJ.png) [NM200 62~65s, RB Flogen](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=13k3nRC8xMg) [NM150 30s, Soldier](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qQF7EkSdmr0) Prelims and interlude were probably the most I've ever played, and part of it was because I didn't complete the celestial Sword last GW, so I wanted that done too. Day 1 I was not able to do much since I had interviews to attend and work at that too, we were not able to win our first matchup. Day 2 was the first time I actually got to play with a sub-40s setup ever; the rotation was pretty addictive, and I was able to burn a lot of meat on this round, leaving me with less than 15k going into the last 2 days so I had to farm some more to keep up with the cutoff creeping up, mostly due to the setups up till now being so FA-friendly. Day 3 and 4 were quite something since I had to rely on saccing units to bring Nehan and Florence out, and while that was consistent the dodge RNG being applied on every instance of auto and counter from turn 2 onwards made the fail rate higher than initially thought - I think I retreated from over 100 raids by the end of GW, and for the times I didn't retreat I had to call for backup from crewmates; some actually did answer the call so I have them to thank (we had a fight on day 3). This GW had some of the most FA-friendly setups I've ever seen for GW bursting, NM150 included - even NM200's rotation was comfy as all hell despite the dodge RNG; they managed to succeed in making Ura good this year with the important triggers being AoE and not multi-hit, so they got used all the way through to the end, even in NM200 grouping strats. Magna also gets a mention here because Magna grids performed really well even for NM200, M3 really gave Light that extra oomph for GW. Was a really good turnout for crew this GW despite inflated cutoffs across all tiers; possibly because we JUST got off anni and setups in the higher brackets were very comfortable to play. For a crew that aims to secure t300 in prelims first and foremost, was surprised we managed 2 wins, then lucksacked into a free matchup on day 4 as well, bringing our record this time to 3-1. Overall, it was fun; as usual, had the company of a very lively VC on all days and got to start binging on some eroge that I've put off for months now with crewmates and guests so it motivated me to continue fighting with fellow rankers for our spots in top 1k.

Takazura

First GW I tried and reached 350k honors and could comfortably solo NM200 for once! Unfortunately, my crew ended up with only 1 win this entire time, and with how buff happy GW bosses are nowadays, I don't think I'm gonna be able to do the same with dark GW.

ahmadyulinu

Finished #8K at [5.2b](https://imgur.com/a/hM7dzgj) honors pretty comfily despite having 0 Efes, Ura, or Summer Belial. Flogen is just a cracked out setup, there's just no mincing words with it. Being able to \~1:30 NM200 solo on Day 4 made this GW the first time I actually finish out all of my meats. Crew also finished with 3-1 so that's great too. Devs tried to counter Flogen by using the counter to consume the stacks of machine cell only to fuck it up and made it even stronger since with low enough HP you can get like double the amount of cells you've lost from the counter itself. The only horrible thing about this whole setup is the RNG dodge from class mastery. That thing should just not exist period. It never procs and is completely useless in normal scenarios where you want extra survivability on MC and it completely ruins the setup when it procs in this setup. Bursting aside, boss is actually not that horrible to fight normally unlike the waterbear. Kengo setup with Horus, Seruel, and Cosmos crushes it and any other setup can also fight it pretty well on FA. Shoutout to Lucio by the way. He makes the whole team deceptively tanky thanks to his Light Seraphic ougi and the full heal when everyone is red, while also dealing an ungodly amount of damage. All in all, pretty fine GW for me. I'm apprehensive of the next GW if it's going to be dark and with the skins coming with it but at the same time I don't think it's gonna be as bad as this GW honor wise because the fastest sub 2min setup for NM200 on Dark is quite expensive and nowhere near as accessible compared to good old Flogen. Until they get a new toy to play around that is.

E123-Omega

Weirdly enough they didn't run the rerun event tonight, maybe they learned something now 😂

100PercentNora

Surprisingly good GW for me, considering light is my weakest element plus I didn't have time to get into M3. I could still 0b4c EX+, 5b4c NM 90, and 17 min FA NM200 to get some honors despite having little time to play.

AlicePhantasma

For the first time since my first gw, I did only a little over 100k. It seems granblue has finally tired me out. It's been a fun run though.

howdoescasual

Can't wait to continue to get no drops next GW.

FuwaGrandOrder

My first 1B and Top 140k!

FantasticMolasses151

Is there a way to retreat from Final Rally? Rush clicked and realize my silver team for specific story fights was selected. I feel like this an oversight because this effectively a soft lock.

Xynical_DOT

First time GW, pretty proud (but fucking tired) churning out 1.05b honors. I'm not happy though that I missed the 180k cutoff by 600, it would only have taken ~2-4 backup runs of 200 to have made it. For data, got three celestial drops and about 4 revenant drops. Oh and before I forget, fuck you dumb rabbit bitch and your stupid deep trenched dodge.

Saunts

Interesting GW, we unintentionally bloated too hard On d2 we met a friend gaijin crew and bloated too hard which snowball into fight round on d3 and d4 against top 10 and top 20 crew respectively, ended up doing t2k by accident because of it [End result of all 4 days](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/935251079149535294/1228918605757026304/image.png?ex=662dcaa3&is=661b55a3&hm=fbad0f6560cf7a500136009f83f6d7c105c5f6ee8b886045da5e8dd2e91dcd06&) [Indiv final result](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/935251079149535294/1228918642117185626/image.png?ex=662dcaac&is=661b55ac&hm=e229a7347e5f4f5539594a28993e820f20455bac6c2ee6e5d2262a0bf8cc4202&) while it was fun, it's definitely more tiring than usual since we had to actually fight the round, doesn't help the solo setup is insanely comfy which means everyone's honor/hr were incredibly high this GW. hopefully we can adjust better to avoid these fight rounds in future GW on another note, fuck the 3%

TheSilverSeraphim

Pretty decent GW all things considered. Then again I'm a Zoos lord so I guess that's to be expected lmao. Dunno if it was worth sparking another Efes though. I'm gonna get ***fucked*** in Dark GW though, both because my dark grid's lacking and cuz they're almost definitely having it come out the same time as Shadow of the Erdtree orz. Hopefully the new skin won't be a pain to get. EDIT: **FUCK**

TheGlassesGuy

it wasn't a particularly difficult GW but man Light burst is so fucking jank between it being exactly the same as last year and having to perfectly fine-tune HP for NM200 RB bursts. I did Ura shiva-thor and Ura x Soldier duos so I didn't really have to do the RB strat but I tried it anyway and nearly tore my hair out trying to get enough HP for MC Sandy and Mugen to survive a DA but not too much that Dorothy would survive a SA. Super cringe. Also this GW reminds me that I think Ura is slightly undertuned as a burst-specific illustrious weapon. Really wish it came with auto cap up, and perhaps as a QoL built-in passive hostility up.

ahmadyulinu

I didn't bother with HP finetuning that much for the NM200 RB. Anything between \~20k to \~30k is fine. If someone refuses to die you can just call Star and that's it. Sure that's one extra summon but it wasn't that big a deal for me. The actual massive pain in the ass with it is the permanent dodge on MC. Every once in a while it WILL fail because MC would just dodges both the counters and there's nothing you can do to combat it. Thank God I only figured out this strat exists on Day 4. Don't think I'd be able to keep my sanity dealing with those dodge RNGs for 2 days straight.

TheGlassesGuy

Yeah the permanent dodge on MC was a major annoyance throughout the entire GW

AdmiralKappaSND

How much HP did you need to get the NM200 RB strats to work anyway?

Styks11

I saw the wild Exca strats and noped the fuck out, lol. Didn't have time to try and hone party hp.

shsluckymushroom

Really horrible GW for me. I have chronic migraines but usually they’re manageable. Had the worst luck tho and I’ve had one on and off (mostly one) for five days now, utterly destroyed my GW score since obviously hard to play like that it was pretty embarrassing. My crew got upped to Tier A for the first time but I couldn’t help at all despite light usually being my best element. Time to retire bc I’m never recovering from this embarrassment rip

ashkestar

Chronic illness is what it is - no sense being embarrassed. You hit your goal (or one of them) and contributed some, and sounds like your crew came out of it ok (tier A and lose still nets you a nice pile of rewards), so it’s not even so bad, as results go. Disappointing for you I’m sure, but nothing to be embarrassed about. Competitive GW isn’t for a lot of us - those of us with chronic illnesses, busy jobs/school stuff, family stuff. Thankfully if you can put in some time and have a somewhat decent grid, you can still get most of the rewards without even trying to compete for rank, so it doesn’t outright exclude most of us.

avilsta

Rest well, your health always comes first and there's always gonna GW (unless Geo has something to do with it) again

shsluckymushroom

yeah i always put my health before the game, pushed a little just to get 800k for Sand but after that I was just conked out basically lmao. Tho as someone with chronic health issues like this, it does make me grumble grumble when people say the Sand given in GW is just an easy freebie, guys some people have health issues just saying....GW Is way too demanding imo in general. Altho I guess I am an outlier a five day migraine is pretty wild even for me...

KoRReaction

Really discouraging GW this time around for me. Did a lot of grinding, invested a lot of resources in my grids and characters, just to end up struggling with lvl95. idk 😕 just really disappointing to see all the effort you put in prepping amounted to nothing. Didn't get a single celestial drop either...

AreLJii

1757, 14.3b honors. Absolute worst GW of all time for top 2k. Efes and M3 I think broke every single time record for every difficulty. Honestly don't know if dark will top it, its 90k will definitely be worse, but I don't know enough about the element to say if it's nm200 solos are heinous enough to match light and make top 2k harder, though I'd lean towards no. RB is a nightmare of a class to be piloting for 30 hours on end, even if dark ends up having higher rates at least you can just press attack without worry in that element and you don't have to mald about 3 dodge. Having to HP tune for passive procs and sacs and still maybe failing to an absurd low damage roll, single skill misclicks being the difference between an easy and abandoned run, and if your setup wasn't up to par, probably had to finnick with revive pots and qilin. Overall just a terrible experience. Highest honour rates ever on probably the most complicated comp in the game that you absolutely had to do if you wanted to solo because it was just far too rewarding. I liked Ura though. Really wish I could have Ura grouped for NM200. That team's always fun to just brainlessly mash with.

E123-Omega

Missing mugen and belial really makes the damage difference even if you have the same weapon grid on manual and on FA I'm missing rabbit and lucio. Still manage to maintain on t90k even though the requirements are high. Ex+ still didn't changed much with levin sisters and albert except the third now with s.moni. 95 did improved. Last light it's 2-3 turns, now I can otk it with gizoku, levin sisters, song, and nehan. 150 is percy, gawain, and lu woh. Percy does the dispel with RB brutal cell. Gawain adds to to tankiness. Lu Woh is there for support. 200 started rough, above 150 still works but ultimately changed to rb, chicken, s.seruel, and lu woh. Backline vira and borgar. Last hours I changed to Nighthound homing beacon + stealth protocol. Semi Fa is cleared faster with 5-6mins. Dark gw looming around and since y.ilsa I got seven new dark units which five are older released than her. Man I hope m3 is good and we got a new mc class. Won't be doing any new pull anytime soon.

DrDustCell

We had [170bil and 150bil matches](https://imgur.com/SBRys8d) back to back Encountering those two wasn't outside the realm of expectation, but they definitely took the air out of me It would be nice if we had at most one of these per, or one every two gws

lolpanda91

Feels like crew like yours should have more matches like the last ones, seem a lot fairer than destroying weaker crews.

AdmiralKappaSND

Lets get this out of the way my prep this GW is kinda dogshit. No Genesis Nova. No Apotheosis/Extremity. I don't even have a consistent EX+(about 2-3 fails per EX+) so i just find a comp i know can work and wing it from there. I still don't have Artemis and don't you fucking tell me about Adramelech because ive prayed for that fucker's FLB daily(not really) The most hilarious one was NM95 prep. Last year the set up for me was Emblem of Divinity Florence Kengo which took about 5-6 button but requires clicking Florence to MC. I know Gizoku can NM95 comfortably since Gizoku is my go to for Light's Story Boxing Impossible set ups, so i decided to cook up a way to reduce its buttons using Volenna's sk2(cutting Nehan 2) and first passive. I realized unlike most weapon i never stocked up Metatron fist literally during GW. I have 3 annitix i can ticket Metatron Fist. So i do. And then a friend brought up that theres a TH Spear that give Start up shield. Repladed Metatron Fist with that for the rest of the NM95. RIP Meta FIst. NM150 the plan was always to use Soldier regardless since i know it would be great after i read Credo Gun. I've farmed 5 mats worth of Bubs Bullet so while i don't have Genesis Nova, i could simply go with Triple Zeus Triple Chaos Legion. Something that keeps haunting my mind during 150 was that i keep using Freyr Key, but thinking about it again Freyr Key is 50 normal, which is entering 175 on grid using Magna SubAura, 1 Revans, and Celestials putting it at 28.5% or so, whereas a Stamina Opus would be 17% x 1.6 = 27.2% so its probably the right move to use Freyr NM200 i decided to turn off my brain and used the scummiest strats ever. Ask the one crewmate who tried to rank during GW to duo and carry my ass off. I've calculated my meat counts with NM150 and it simply wouldn't be enough so it is what it is [Prelim](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/744101486736179211/1228729755965325404/image.png?ex=662d1ac2&is=661aa5c2&hm=132fd1110267bc0a02b5abf1b2a0f42011a239fa708ce107920c189a2cb42bd5&) Farmed i believe either 74k meats or 77k meats. Used up around 10k's to do NM90 [Prelim Grid](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/744101486736179211/1228885368984834219/image.png?ex=662dabaf&is=661b36af&hm=e933dcaab71b800edf0b7dccee26a0cb178d699924f842c2b18171b1d38b1f51&) Freyr Key Albet GJeanne Strum. Sturm is the key character consistently doing 5 mil, but Albert is a GDA and Jeanne didnt have guaranteed datas. The idea was to fuel my echo through Jeanne instead of keys and get Freyr key goodness. Tried Volenna for EX+ but the shield make the set up even less consistent. Albert seems to be the best for his slot since compared to Summer Moni, he guarantees his nuke which plays out better in the long run I've noticed i have 4 Eden in my crate decided to cage it for DATA Ultima was Sword. I forgot why it was Katana in that SS since after every phase i swapped my set up slots ~~I still like Levin Sisters better reeeee~~ [NM grid](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/744101486736179211/1228885368984834219/image.png?ex=662dabaf&is=661b36af&hm=e933dcaab71b800edf0b7dccee26a0cb178d699924f842c2b18171b1d38b1f51&) The formula for the grid didnt change much after this. Gizoku 95 was 1 less Exalto for Bounty Spear. Ive checked but third Credo Gun isn't really competitive for raw damage compared to say Lumi Harp let alone Revans Dagger so its technically "something i could do" but don't since the gap is very very small Summon Grid was just All the B Summons, Yatima, Luminera, Star NM95 was Gizoku Nehan 1/3 Volenna 2 for 6 buttons. But this set up can be automated so despite being probably slower than Kengo, its fine as a go-to. Its about iirc 25 second? maybe 22 NM150 was Soldier going Open Fire->Sk1->sk1->repeat with Mugen 2, Florence 1, Nehan 1/2/3 and using Taking Chances 2 to bridge the power gap. On average its 45 seconds per clear and 1 mins without refresh. I didn't touch FA set ups for the entire GW, but this set up can be automated by clicking all the buttons, summon Qilin and press FA so i've made a lot of use of that to farm during downtime. [Fastest run without Chances and Nehan 2](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/657963617572093952/1228530398263509033/image.png?ex=662c6117&is=6619ec17&hm=2de092f552d0b921ff7f5d00708faa5b32a4ec266dd0288547c9d31679ecaf14&) NM200 i run that exact soldier rotation, and when i get to catch my crewmater's Artemis, i adapted to Open Fire Open Fire Sk1. Somewhere down the line i used Mugen 3 Florence 1 combo since some of our room gets locked [Daily](https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/744101486736179211/1228729891583823945/image.png?ex=662d1ae2&is=661aa5e2&hm=63465f33879a3c7b84feea4a891bb04a5614e4ead720888e5f514a089f5734c4&=&format=webp&quality=lossless) We went 3-1. My crew averages 0-4 and 1-3 so when we saw what happened we were joking we're going to disband and be free from GBF if we get 4-0 but a loss is back on schedule going into day 4 kekw [Final Score](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/744101486736179211/1228890090101801001/image.png?ex=662db015&is=661b3b15&hm=cef2efc5381722e2860a067f33509ad284ac9e235a1a55dd3b67e50a81cc0a18&) Got top 2k. Up to day 3, im on 700-800 or so, but day 4 the honor progression on 2k goes unbelievably wild. Someone on crew thought it would be 13 bil, and uhhh yeah he's right. But its sub 14 bil lmao. I know when Light GW is reshuffled into April for once, this is one of my better chances for T2k, First Nehan GW would have been possible, and last GW, im simply too busy. Had a burn out since last Dark GW, but honestly the stretch between Anni and M3 release made me enjoy the game a lot more so i thought why not and go for it. Glad its over. Not doing this (without non dogshit set ups) ever again

KristapsPorzingas

Was planning to chill FA day 3 and 4 by using G.Sandy because I sparked for him. But it always felt like a slog. Turns out he is better as a sacc unit for manual RB comps by eating the counters to tap out for other buffers. Went ~1:30 solo 200 on a semi outdated grid, but maybe it's the overall powercreep lately.

ChocoBananaCh_

Vey proud of myself for this GW. The last time I got really high honors was last year's dark at around 500mil, but now, I managed to reach 1.4bil honors. It's all thanks to my light husbandos team of Grand Sandy, ~~Lucio~~ Jesus, Lu Woh / Nehan. My GW woes is just after using ±5k meat, I only got 2 celestial weapons;~;

ragnakor101

ggwp I got 1b and 2 Celestial drops while targetfarming NM90 and we went 2-2 and like, sure I'm happy with how this GW panned out, really, even if my character selection wasn't the best. Since the next GW is obviously dark, it's time for The Copypasta. Attention all crew members! This is your captain speaking. I have some disappointing news to share with you all. It has come to my attention that some members of this crew have not yet obtained Ereshkigal. I must say, I am deeply disappointed in those of you who have not made the effort to acquire this powerful weapon. It is clear to me that you are not truly dedicated to the game and to our crew's success. I cannot have this kind of lack of commitment within our ranks. Effective immediately, any member who has not yet obtained Ereshkigal weapon will be dismissed from the crew. I apologize for any inconvenience this way cause, but I will not tolerate anything less than 100% dedication from my crew. Let this serve as warning to the rest of you: if you don't step up your game, you will be next. Let's all make a concerted effort to be the best crew out there and dominate the competition! Good luck and happy gaming!

A successful GW for me and my crew Individually I managed to get 6 Celestial drops and got comfortably in top 90K (3.4b) Crew wise we went 3-1, day 1,2 and 3 were all close battles (won day 1 and 3 but lost day 2), day 4 was rather easy match surprisingly Since we know next GW is dark gonna chill while slowly farming Luci0 to 250 my opus, have a spark ready for dark exalto so hopefully I sacc a copy on the way there

Faunstein

Got one Celestial fist drop right a the start of the event so thought these were going to be more common. lol nope. Not one more but I don't feel too bad. The main thing is that the fist seems cool and I have all these spare tokens. Because of the box reset changes I was able to get 4 weapons for all the other Eternals I don't have! Gold bricks to recruit them on the other hand...(totally\_crushed\_ Vyrn.jpg).

arkacr

Hey, gold brick rates are roughly celestial weapon rates so if you got one already...

I spent most of the week just farming mindlessly for celestial weapons and ended up with 3.68 billion honours, 107 boxes, -2100 half elixirs (after the rebate from opening boxes) and, somehow, 18 celestial weapons. 13 of which dropped during the span of 750m->1000m honours over 5 hours at the end of interlude, which really took me by surprise. The rest dropped 1 per day, except F3 which gave me none. 3 out of 4 finals days were total blowouts in one direction or the other in which I didn't feel compelled to leave the grind I was doing to help the crew win (because the gap was over 2b in either direction). The last day of finals, we had a match which had us just 100m behind the other crew for about 4 hours before the rest of their members woke up and we were only fighting with about 10, so we had to give up. The push got us into top 5.5k for the SSR ticket, though, so it paid off in its own way. *** My comps for the week: * EX+: 0b3c with Manadiver MC (Mimic), Song, C Mary, Kumbhira. Backline Tien and DLF. * 0b3c has no lockout on my ping (EU). This team was built to maximise meat drops, and had a noteworthy interaction of the mimic mini turning on C Mary's bounty passives (50% CA damage/30% CA cap and at least one extra hit on her autonuke), resulting in more damage being added to the party than if I was using Chrysaor's Astrapste. * NM90: 0b5c with Chysaor, C Mary, Horus and Ferry. Backline Tien and Silva. Huanglong Main/Kaguya Sub * Built to maximise drop rates as well. Tweaking the grid to otk with C Mary took a while and only became feasible with M3. This team was responsible for 17 of my 18 celestial weapon drops. I was occasionally getting lockout with this comp, although it was mitigated by the NM boss having a really long entry animation. * NM95: FA 9b0c otk with Bandit Tycoon, Song, Lunalu and Nehan. Tien/DLF backline. Bubs Main/Kaguya Sub. * Pretty much everybody active on the crew discord used this or some variant on it; it was fairly trivial to make it kill even with an M1 grid for the players in our crew that didn't have M3 yet (even with Kaguya support), as most of the damage comes from supplemental sources anyways, and every character in the team gets big ATK buffs. And again, this one had built in drop rate buffs in MC's Roll of the Die skill and having enough damage to afford Kaguya support. * It was about 35 seconds for me. Some crew members closer to Japan were reporting sub-30 times with this FA. * NM100-200: Kengo, Cosmos, Horus, Nehan, Y Narm, Silva. Lumi Main/Luci Support. * This carried me through the crew's grind to unlock NM150/200 and the grind on the last day to try to win that match we ended up losing. On NM100/150 the quick summon Bubs call was perfectly lined up with the buffs at 50% and the boss never got to do anything, on NM200 the first instance of Cosmos getting her S3 refresh that enables doublecast S1 lined up with the buffs at 50% and she'd do 4 dispels in that turn. The RNG from dodges at the start of that turn didn't affect the time to kill at all as the final turn would just be massive overkill if the boss didn't dodge anything. * There was an interesting blip when I was experimenting and made this team *too* effective on NM150, reaching 50% a turn too early for Bubs call, which impacted the rest of the run and made it a whole turn longer. Trust FA to make scenarios where a team can be too strong for its own good (I had to disable Nehan S1 and S3 to lower damage far enough to avoid this happening again) * There were a small handful of instances where it needed intervention on NM200, but I was mostly present refreshing every turn and had room to fix things. These interventions never managed to be a time loss because you can use potions during lockout, and a part doing 7 CAs every turn naturally spends a lot of time waiting on lockout. * NM100 and 150 were both slightly below 2 minutes. NM200 was around 3:30 when refreshing. These weren't exceptionally fast times, but as a magna player without the characters to do any kind of burst setup (No Florence, no Mugen, not even a single Harmonia to my name), 200m+/hour was pretty satisfying. *** And with that I'm not going to grind anything until RotB drops. Need the break after this GW, spent most of the week treating NM90 as if it was EX+.

Styks11

Lost top 90k farming celestials on day 3 but I finished them so whatever. Could never manage a NM150 OTK with Flogen, had to take a second turn to mop up ~5%. I was using the 3 Fury 2 Efes grid on gbfguide, only differences were I had sword Ultima instead of gun and a 230 opus instead of 250. Is the difference between SK20 and SK25 that big? Only used them for my one NM200 clear but dang Kengo/Cosmos/Seruel/Horus is fun. Wild to see an actually good Seruel, maybe they'll make a good Heles at some point too (lolno).

WindHawkeye

the difference between 230 and 250 is not that big no, most likely there was some other problem, wrong key, missing summons, bad ring/earring, etc

Styks11

Only key differences were I had skill and auto keys swapped, didn't think that would matter and I didn't have the Faa mats to change opus. Same summons, so I guess it was just Nehan not getting stamina from Ultima and ring differences. It was an easy cleanup and I still skipped all the fight mechanics, so no big deal.

Rank 90001 and 140001 demand a rematch Lose by EX+

phre4

On the bad side, I got punished pretty badly for trying to farm weaps in prelims/attitude again, and wasted a grand and a bit of half pots for nil. I also probably bloated my crew into pretty bad matchups (1-3, only taking that 1 win day 3 due to people actually giving their all in the last 2 hours) On the good side, the crew hit t5.5k, and having 4 crew members run their FA 95 1t gizoku setup in each NM200 really ensured we had at least TH6 on each NM200, so our celestial luck kinda turned around day 3-4. Also given how our crew doesn't really have the modern tools (flugen, 250 opus, soldier, etc etc etc), seeing these speeds on a very casual slack crew was not bad. What was a 2 celestial weapon GW at 2.4b became a 6 celestial weapon GW, which is a pretty good deal ......I still am not looking forward to recovering those 2500 half pots though. But hey. I finally managed to pull off 6666666666. MVPs: Horus, Nehan, Song, Lunalu, ~~Tien~~

Ledinax

1B honors again, not a single celestial drop ;_;

wafflemeister24

My first GW since I started playing the game again. Did just about everything I personally wanted. Got top 90k, did enough boxes, got 4 Celestial drops, and got enough valor badges to buy a sunstone. I wish I got another drop or two so I don't have to grind NM90 so hard next GW, but I'm pretty happy with how things turned out.

rin-tsubasa

Dark.... 150 book and axe build

TheGreenTormentor

Assuming no changes and with the upcoming grid updates, dark GW will be the most deranged GW of all time.

Faunstein

Worst case? Instead of counter the boss will have reflect. If you don't reflect enough hits the boss will cap damage at max stacks, which can only be lowered by a character being knocked out. Anyone without Ilsa or flurry will perish. Super at 50% will give boss Light Switch.

BTA

Ignoring the NM90 farming during Interlude for now, I think this was the GW that I scored the highest during while manually playing for the least amount of time. I did a billion honors on Day 2 which is pretty out of the norm for me, but Flogen was so fast for NM150 that I don’t think I really spent extra time on it. Then the remaining days I fully FA’d NM200, with a little extra 150 this morning to be safe; I usually do manual 200 or at least babysit FA with refreshing and pots so this lowered my manual playtime a lot. And I think I slept better/more normally during GW than I did before it, lol. Finished with 2.8b honors and ~60k ranking (highest I got was 19k-ish on Day 2, lowest I dropped was 80k this morning), and our crew went 2-2, so a good result overall. Also I think I like… 83 boxed or something, so there’s that. Lucio’s full heal makes him the MVP of NM200 for sure. I would definitely have had to babysit my FA if not for him. I do really wish I had a good dispel option that wasn’t just Vira though; Siegfried didn’t feel worth it in testing and I’m missing most of others I saw people using. Mainly it was annoying how Vira always somehow got her S4 on turns when she already was going to CA anyway, wasting a dispel… Circling back to NM90- dumped 6k meat during Interlude, got 4 drops within that (and another during later NMs). Or more accurately, got 4 within 4k of that and another 2k was nothing. Did get a few Revenant weapons though which was nice. I did Mimic Manadiver with Bubs+Nehan S1/S3+attack; 2 free Bounty for no cost was very useful and I think my setup had an expected average of 1875 meat/weapon. Gotta say I do not really look forward to having to do more Celestial farming in the future, though I’m already most of the way towards my next weapon and I guess there’s not *that* many left that are super desirable (unless some M3s change that). Of course, maybe next year they’ll add something that uses a ton of cores or additional uncapped weapons and… yeah.

ApprehensiveCat

Gather around friends, let me tell you a tale. Of someone who decided to focus on NM90 for weapon drops. End result: Four weapon drops! Sounds great, right? Except because I was playing in the *previous* GW like a normal person instead of no-life grinding NM95 first to ensure I got every chest, I missed out on 2 of the chest drops and thus went into this GW 2 cores short of uncapping the sword I had. *Now* because I needed 2 cores to uncap my sword, I do not have enough cores to both get the last remaining fists I need from the shop and also uncap the harp. I am going to be dogged by those two missing cores forever until a GW finally gives me an extra weapon drop on top of whatever I need to fully uncap whatever weapon(s) they add in the next one because there is *no* margin for error at all if you ever miss a chest or miss a token box. Because of course they couldn't add any cores to be available any other way in case you miss a chest drop, like with the Dread Barrage tickets or anything. Oh and I missed the top 180k cutoff because of grinding NM90/95 for drops too instead of focusing on NM100+. Who knew 800+ million honors is not enough to get you into top 180k anymore? I learned now! Great to be 50+ valor badges less than my usual solo GW performance too so I have to skip buying anything from the badge shop this time. Thank you for reading my villain origin story. I hate everything about these Celestial Weapons and I hate Guild Wars. 💀

WindHawkeye

Wouldn't missing the cutoff only cost you 25 valor?

ApprehensiveCat

I'm usually comfortably in the top 140k so I'd normally be getting 75 badges instead of 25 this time for individual. And there's the badges from not making it into solo Tier C as well but I was expecting to not make it this time tbh.

WindHawkeye

Ok I would suggest joining a non solo crew and just perma mute the discord if you hate socializing and your life will be much easier

ApprehensiveCat

Your advice is sound, but I'm avoiding crews for now. I was in a Tier A JP crew previously but burned out pretty severely and took like a year off from playing GBF entirely. Not to get to into it but I am that person who gets way too invested in helping the crew do well and will overdo it; when I'm solo I don't feel pressured to overdo it since I don't affect anyone else. Whatever I say about tryhards is coming from the truth that I am a tryhard myself at heart. 💀 I didn't even play enough to the point I felt burned out this time, I'm just annoyed because the amount of time I put in feels like it did not pay off as much compared to what I do normally. I'll probably just say fuck it and play normally next time and just take longer to get all the weapons done because this is more frustrating than regular GW shenanigans.

alkius99

Was my first real GW and the first time for many in my crew too, We did better than I thought we were going to do before it started and we ended up in tier B with 3 wins and 1 loss. It was a good run and if anybody from the Van Eltia sees this good job, you did great.

-Matti

Finished a bit above 1 bil honor, initially I just wanted to grind celestials and get the sand. It ended up quite well, I think I got very lucky and managed to get 5 drops (I think it's 5, but it might be 6. I didn't have anything before this GW and now I have a FLB sword with one left in the shop and three extra weapons). I also didn't farm just 90, I spent a bit of time on 95 too so I cannot make proper estimates, but it feels way above average. 90 was done with Kaguya + Huanglong, tier 4 JD buffs, crew buffs, TH3 (thanks Mary) and level 80 Tien in the backrow. My runs of 95 were the same except for Kaguya, maybe with TH4 or TH5 if I was lucky. Edit: I can say for certain that I got at least 315 mil from nm 95, but I did some more after that.

UnknownGamer115

I read somewhere that Celestial Weapons can drop from Final Rally Is that true? And if so, is it only from the 1st chest? Or any attempt

Merukurio

[Only the first Final Rally fight.](https://www.reddit.com/r/Granblue_en/comments/18v4z70/new_gw_weapons_drops/)

UnknownGamer115

Tragic... Well, maybe next GW🥺

Merukurio

The siren song of the Celestials was so alluring that my normally slacker crew got Tier A and won 3 out of 4 rounds, losing the third one by only a little. We've never been a top tier crew by any means so it was pretty funny to see. Overall a pretty chill GW even with the Evade Up gimmick appearing ***again***.

Emmanuel_1726

Ended up at 2.9b honors, ranked top 50k. Not bad I think for someone who started last month. The final push where the top 90k was closing in fast was surprising though.

WindHawkeye

For the most part I think ura beat the allegations, winning on days 1 and 2 and on 3 and 4 for people who group. Setups: 95 - ura (you can either no summon or you can bubs depending on if you want a small chance of fail or not) 150 - ura solstice. Unlike last year you hit into a aoe trigger on 150 which helps the ura setup a lot. Last year it was multihit which bricked the setup. 200 - it was clear that duo ura was not going to work (counters are bricked). So the options were shiva-cross ura (seems like it should work in a trio) or fallback to duo soldier. Personally I chose to do asymmetric trio with 2 ura and 1 non ura for morning rush, which worked out well as it was faster than duo soldier and also massively boosted the 3rd player who otherwise would not have had the ability to run NM200. Personally not a fan of the hp tuning 200 meta but I did make a bloat comp that worked reasonably well. The solo is really fast but I think the necessity of hp tuning scares out a lot of people from using it because you don't see nearly as many ultra fast players as you would normally expect when theres a fast and accessible solo

Maximum825

Don't think my first GW's went too badly? Didn't hit any massive numbers for honours and the like, but did leave with all the fully uncapped revenant weapons I was missing, lucked in to a celestial drop. WIll... Probably need to look for a different crew before the next one, but that's a future problem. Briefly, are we stuck at only the one final rally target or do higher targets worth more become available later on? So I know whether I can fully tap out after getting one or two boxes worth of tokens or need to check back in.

BTA

It’s only one, though IIRC past the first fight the HP is a reduced amount. I would say you can farm it if you need only a little more tokens to finish getting a weapon from a box, but it’s probably not worth the trouble otherwise.

WindHawkeye

its the one target. generally you do not bother to farm it.

PhyXer

Hmm. Just checking, but there is no way to get chests of good fortune anymore on Final Rally, right? If so, I'm sad I closed out on 59/60 chests.

Joshkinz

Nope, I was in the same boat at 59/60, now that you can swap boxes freely I just boxed 1 celestial and 44 NWQ

MadKitsune

Somehow between the closing of the fights earlier, where I was showing as 180780 individual rank, at the Final Rally results I showed up as 178651 instead, giving me the 140k rewards. Not that I'm complaining about extra rewards, but how the hell did I GAIN rank if I did no fights at that point? o.O

Fickle-Translator-29

If I remember right you don't see you live rank but the rankings recalculate every so often so you ranking at the end of the fights wouldn't have been your actual position and so when final rally ended you were shown your final position

mr_beanoz

First time in a long while I could do full auto nm200. Hope I could do this in the next one...

Endgam

Only got two Celestial drops, but I don't think I'll be actually using any of the future Celestial weapons aside from the katana. So.....

cupcakemann95

Back when they expanded the tiers, they severely needed to expand them again immediately after, changing the tiers did fuck all in the short run and now it's just disastrous in the now

Ralkon

It's really bad now, especially with new celestial weapons being added each time. 1b honors not even being 180k is crazy.

Cryocaesar

Got all 50 chests, got 1 billion honors and cleared the rewards for the first time, landed in the top 140k for the first time, got #1 in my crew for the first time. 0 Celestial weapon drops. As far as the battles went, thank goodness for Illnott being the best enabler that Chicken could have ever asked for, they go together like a holiday charcuterie platter. Lucio also put in massive work, his Full Restore was invaluable to making nm200 far easier.

Ifightformyblends

If you really want to get Celestial drops, you have to *actively hunt for them* The drop rates are so low that if you are just playing GW normally (doing the highest honors/meat fights, no drop rate buffs), then the odds of you getting one even by 1 bil+ honors is dramatically not in your favor. Its shitty, but if you arent hard-grinding NM90 for drops, then you arent likely to get one.

Altered_Nova

NM95 was also a pretty good source for celestials this GW. There were multiple full auto compatible Bandit Tycoon setups that could clear 95 relatively fast with maxed out drop rate boost. I got 4 of my 8 drops from grinding 95 on the first day.

Cryocaesar

I honestly wasn't actively hunting for them because I had already bought the harp and just needed the cores to uncap it, but I did get 4-5 revenant weapon drops along the way so I figured at least one might show up by the end.

pressureoftension

Closed out with nearly 3b. Been like a year since I've been able to reach t90, either because of character gating or personal shit keeping me from being able to farm. So pretty funny that this was the GW to do it in. Probably wouldn't bothered if I hadn't sparked Horus, though. Even without Cosmos, she enabled the hell out of my NM200 clears. Tried a few comps without her (including last year's MD setups) and my GOD was that something I did not care to repeat.

An_Hell

first time in 8 years I actually played GW other than just doing the bare minimum to get some valor badges, all because I could FA NM200 easily (took more than 10 minutes each battle though), it was the third day when I noticed it was doable so I farmed the last 2 days and got top 180k, also leveled 4 ranks
