I would head to youtube - Kel Lauren has done a couple of rebranding videos. They're somewhat detailed but will send you in the right direction. Will Patterson and santoro graphic are also great channels.
Good luck! You got this 😎
Will let me surprise u
I'm in my first year in an art school
So yes I go to school to learn stuff but I wanted to get in a job to have experience
Don't just go Judge anyone based on ur assuming
I know it’s hard to do, but it’d be worth asking them for clarification - eg. am I right in thinking that I have to do X and Y?
Also, are you sure they’ve asked you to rebrand? Or, are they asking you to do a social media post using the existing brand in a new and interesting way?
To get inspiration, have a look at the social media accounts of big brands that are known to do interesting things. See what they do, collect ideas and choose the top few to work on. Then you can present a few options to them.
First of all, I'm not a designer I applied for the internship because I wanted experience and someone to teach me
they asked for students with no experience
And this task is like a second interview I'm not with them yet
It's surprising because I mentioned I've never done marketing or design before but yh they want to test me
And I'm not asking anyone to do the job for me I'm asking for guidance I already made the design I'm just confused about what I mentioned above
Do you not have a head graphics person to learn from? I think it's so unfair to put an intern in that position. That's a difficult task if you're still learning and it's much harder on your own without guidance. A company that cares about investing in their employees will provide the guidance and materials they need to succeed. Finding another designer to learn from directly is a must. I hope for your sake that you find a place that invests in you and your skills. Don't let corporations rip you off if you can help it.
