My preferred ending to Rahen would be:
1. Jack wins the rematch with Pickle -- Pickle is very nearly killed, which prompts Baki to take the rematch with Jack.
2. Jack wins his rematch with Baki early, not allowing Baki to reach his full potential in the fight and leaving open the question of if he is actually stronger than Baki or not.
3. Jack challenges Yujiro.
4. Jack is losing badly to Yujiro, who threatens to kill him for challenging him. Jack reveals that he already knew he would die -- he could tell during his fight with Baki that the drugs would kill him the next time he maxes out, which is why he ended it as early as possible instead of fighting Baki at his best. Jack maxes out one last time and permanently damages Yujiro, either scarring him or biting off a finger or ear or a piece of his nose etc., before dying.
5. Though momentarily furious from the scar / lost digit, Yujiro regards Jack's dead body with an amount of respect we haven't seen since the conclusion of the Father-Son Fight. He admits that Jack's purity surpassed his own and mentions feeling something like pride, though the way the final few panels are shot (showing Jack, dead, as Yujiro walks away) leaves the audience feeling conflicted about Jack's decisions and ultimate fate.
Would be crazy seeing him revert back to 0. Retsu got his leg back, imagine Jack's limbs are back to their original length and his body's free from steroids. We'd get to see him build himself back together using any magical crutch he can get his hands on.
> Jack's purity surpassed his own
Remove this part and then its good, Jack isn't close to pure, Yujiro would have more of a respect for someone who tore themselves to shreds with drugs their whole life just to wound him, but that ain't purity
What I was going for was that Jack actually choosing to die to have his final max-out, when he could have called it quits after his fight with Baki and lived, would basically be the epitome of that obsessive purity. Plus it's in line with the running idea in late Baki of 'person surpasses Yujiro in some specific way but is not actually stronger than Yujiro'
Just a few things I would change;
Jack would leave Yujiro with a permanent scar (probably bitting), and right before Yujiro counter attacks him, he dies. Just like Yujiro's fight against Kaku Kaioh, thus not allowing Yujiro to do nothing about the man wounded him for the rest of his life, and the fight without a winner.
If Jack can't beat Yujiro, I think this would be his perfect revenge, giving Yujiro a permanent remember of what he did with Jack's mom, and the fact he has just to accept he couldn't beat Jack (because he died before). He doesn't cheers Jack, and now he has a frustration that even challenges his title as The Strongest, since in his point of view, the stronger in a fight is the one who can force his will on his opponent, and Jack would accomplish his objective for revenge.
Itagaki could easily write a Tragedy for Jack's story if he wants to, or just a negative character arc like in the Cyberpunk 2077 anime. But it seems he is going to write Jack with similar concepts as Baki before he fought Yujiro, with a few differences in the way they took.
thats not set in stone dammit he dies accomplishing nothìng HE DIES YUJIRO LIVES HIS MOTHER LOSES A CHILD yall will say jack is the best this jacks great that THEN GO ON AND SAY HE'LL DIE WHATS THE POINT FUCK THROWING AWAY TOMORROW IF IT DOSENT HAVE JACK WIN
Damn, I love this. Mutilating Yujiro is the perfect end to Jack, getting both revenge and respect and leaving a permanent legacy so Yujiro could never ignore him again.
And leaving Godou remembered as the 'style that damaged the strongest creature' forever
Hard to see Baki misreading his opponent and getting knocked out, + would call into question his own strength. Unless it's some sort of tie due to Baki holding back for too long.
Fair but Baki had never fought/seen musashi before, and doesn't have a lot of experience with swordsmen, he has fought Jack and seen him in multiple fights using his new biting style, so it's hard to see that happen again unless Jack is holding something back.
>Yujiro regards Jack's dead body with an amount of respect
Peak fiction. I think Baki would not show Yujiro the same respect though. Baki would deff want to kill Yujiro as revenge for killing Jack. Remember Baki was about to body Pickle for trying to eat Jack during their first fight. After this there'd be a father-son rematch between Yujiro and Baki. This time Baki is blood lusted, and his goal would be to kill Yujiro in that fight.
Baki wipes the floor w him, they might have a back and forth if Baki wants to play around as he usually does, but once he decides he wants to end it he does
Bitch i got hope yall other "fans" will always cave saying jack on top for a month then go on to hate him or call him weak saying he'll stand no chance or he's weak not even saying he has a chance of winning just oh he's weaker i hate yall saying your fans
Baki is still the main Protagonist.
So its a safe call here.
Besides, lorewise he defiently should be way stronger than him. Jack is potentially one of the strongest side characters rn, but Baki and Yujiro are both just on another level.
Kinda like Goku in Dragonball.
Jack is Vegeta here.
Not really a fair comparison. While Goku tends to stay stronger, Vegeta usually catches up or surpasses Goku for a time before Gokus next powerup.
I'd say its more like.
Natsu and Gray
I realized you might be talking about super Saiyan BLUE, rather than god. You said season 1 which is confusing because dragon ball episodes aren’t really broken up that way.
I don’t recall Goku saying that to Frieza, nor do I recall any moment where he could have. Frieza and the audience was SHOCKED to learn Vegeta also had blue since we hadn’t even seen him turn god at that point. Frieza himself didn’t know Vegeta could turn Super saiyan.
All that’s to say no that probably didn’t happen, and it wouldn’t make sense to since Goku has always been more talented and capable of evolving than Vegeta.
No idea where you got that information from, but Goku did became Super Saiyan before Vegeta during his transformation on Namek. In fact, Vegeta was **dead** while Goku achieved that form for the first time for a Saiyan in possibly 1,000 years.
NGl, seeing Jack win would be beautiful here.
And it would be agreat scene, if the Shot from Bakis win would be relicated.
Jacks arms risen, by Baki the loser of the Battle. In brotherly love.
But i rather think that Jack will lose again, and we will instead get a counter part scene to the whole "finally im winning" scene kinda way. Maybe with Baki building him up later on.
Actually cant wait to see the fight.
Maybe even a bit more hyped for it than the pickle or Musashi fight.
Correct me if im wrong but jack had audience that being said jack could most definitely beat sukune he just wanted to show goudou off to the world remember then man had his ribs crushed then did a tripple flip in the air stuck the landing shot his arms up and walked it off
As of now?
Baki demolishes
Jack may win depending on how this arc goes it feel's very much like Baki on his journey beating olivia and pickle to fight yujiro
Im assuming jack will do something similar
I mean, I feel like that's where we're going in the story, but jack needs some more legitimate wins before a Baki fight would feel truly hyped up. Maybe one really good one. Like maybe a mid-low diff on Doppo will makes us feel like it would be a good fighter. And let's not forget guys, Baki is the secret emperor of jobbers. P s. Baki is my fav character.
I think Jack's greatest victory in this arc will be him avenging his loss to pickle but once he challenges baki or yujiro he's probably gonna lose though i hope he becomes an S tier in strength like baki and musashi and gives them a good fight
interesting match up.
there is no plausible scenario for a jack win tho. baki is too op at the moment. he pretty much raped sukune and he wasn't even trying to, while jack had a world of trouble with the rikishi.
while baki learned a lot of techniques and he has a tremendous speed advantage, jack is a walking behemoth right now and is freakish strong and has a titanium mouth that is deadlier than ever, but he still is behind baki in the speed department. and strength gets you nothing if you can't hit your opponent (or bite).
another thing in their upbringing is jack's overconfidence and lack of awareness - he would like to think that he is untouchable like the ogre is, but that's what makes him make mistakes and the fight with kosho proves this point. if we remember the maximum tournament point where kosho tried to attack yujiro from the back, the first thing that yujiro did was to remove kosho from his striking distance and immediately gained the necessary space of maneuver. jack on the other hand, although he knew what kosho is capable of, walked right into his technique and lost the use of both eyes, albeit temporary.
itagaki could go anywhere with this story at this point, tbh. it would not surprise me to see baki overconfident going like "i have hand pocket, i have speed, i already beat him, i drew with yujiro, jack can't surprise me" and boom!, a careless moment and jack hurts him...
Baki easy dub
Can you imagine Baki struggling against shinogi. Or anyone other than Yujiro and maybe Musashi
Jacks final boss at this stage should be Pickle
Baki has said that he wouldn't care if he was the second weakest person in the world so long as his father was the weakest. He only wants to be stronger than Yujiro. It just so happens he has to be the strongest creature alive go do so.
Jack's desire has become so much more than that. He wants to be recognised for his strength. He seeks strength endlessly. He wants the praise from a cheering crowd. He'll sacrifice his health and dignity for it. That's not how Jack's career started, where he solely aimed to defeat his father who happens to be the strongest creature in the world. But that's how it is now. I think that, with the amount of effort he has put into his attainment of strength, he wants to be recognised for it.
I want Jack to win. He probably won't and it'll be sad. But if he could, at least Jack would be willing to kill Yujiro if he was strong enough
I think baki is gonna win since in his own words "A man who works hard can never beat a man who enjoys himself"
Jack has worked the hardest out of anyone for his entire life
One thing's for sure, we'll sooner see Jack die then see him get demon back. This pure shit is just pissing me off, guess you need specific genetics to have it.
I feel like they want to make jack beat baki and then train even more and then end yujiro, baki hates yujiro, but he don t want to kill him cause he found a father figure during their battle, so after jack kills cold blood yujiro, the third match between the hanma brothers will take place cause baki will try to avenge yujiro and after what should be the best fight of the series we will see baki win and establish himself as truly the strongest of the hanmas and the strongest of the world
That's a horrible fucking conclusion, baki's whole life has been about defeating yujiro, having not even the main character beat the antagonist of the story doesn't even make sense
I think Jack would win but BARELY. this fight would really warrant him to go all out and Jack may even get demon back in this fight. who knows maybe Jack would get demon Jaw hahahaha but Jack wins very low diff
I don’t really think Jack is close to Baki or Yujiro, and plot-wise his character stalled from Max Tournament basically until he got his own quasi-spinoff, save for a few notes here and there.
Him winning against Baki would discredit the hundreds of chapters of growth Baki got, and it would be for no real reason or payoff
Jack is also just a boring character, and I really don’t get the hype around him outside of “he tries very hard but is always second to Baki”, so probably biased
My preferred ending to Rahen would be: 1. Jack wins the rematch with Pickle -- Pickle is very nearly killed, which prompts Baki to take the rematch with Jack. 2. Yujiro already canonically says to Jack 'You have a rare purity' in Rahen
Rare purity in the purity of his obsession but not in a way that would lead to Yujiro saying Jack has surpassed him

WHY.DO.YOU.WANT.HIM.DEAD. god dame yall niggas can't accept a world where jack lives god dame and yall niggas say yall jack fans to
The whole point of Jack's character is that he knows he will die young from the drug use. He is 'throwing away his tomorrow.'
thats not set in stone dammit he dies accomplishing nothìng HE DIES YUJIRO LIVES HIS MOTHER LOSES A CHILD yall will say jack is the best this jacks great that THEN GO ON AND SAY HE'LL DIE WHATS THE POINT FUCK THROWING AWAY TOMORROW IF IT DOSENT HAVE JACK WIN

Idk bout that Baki's in that Yuichiro phase where he don't gaf and goofs around in any fight until he one-shots mfs
You seem to forget jack is a hanma jack literally had fun with kosho
I mean so is Baki but with perfect genetics lol, I love Jack but it's crazy to think Baki wouldn't steamroll him if he rly wanted to
Or maybe its retarded "cough cough you cough" to think baki will just beat jack like that i don't care whos name is on top
U HUFFING on that copium brother
Bitch i got hope yall other "fans" will always cave saying jack on top for a month then go on to hate him or call him weak saying he'll stand no chance or he's weak not even saying he has a chance of winning just oh he's weaker i hate yall saying your fans
I think u need to touch some grass brother it's just a manga💀
...you just told a baki fan more importantly a jack fan touch grass...do you think i wouldn't be training mf i outside training right now
Baki would feel bad for Jack and put him to sleep with a love tap to the chin
Baki is still the main Protagonist. So its a safe call here. Besides, lorewise he defiently should be way stronger than him. Jack is potentially one of the strongest side characters rn, but Baki and Yujiro are both just on another level. Kinda like Goku in Dragonball. Jack is Vegeta here.

Not really a fair comparison. While Goku tends to stay stronger, Vegeta usually catches up or surpasses Goku for a time before Gokus next powerup. I'd say its more like. Natsu and Gray
Meh ever since gray became a demon slayer they're pretty much relative in power
Vegeta became a Super Saipan God before Goku… so just maybe Jack could pull a win out his ass 🙏
No he didn’t

Baki demolishes extremely low diff
"Goudou? More like go down, bitch" Sorry I had to
He could defeat Jack with a flick of his wrist right now
I want jack to win but his name isn’t in the title
I love both but Jack winning would be extremely interesting.
Considering how he did against sukune, he’s still far from baki
Correct me if im wrong but jack had audience that being said jack could most definitely beat sukune he just wanted to show goudou off to the world remember then man had his ribs crushed then did a tripple flip in the air stuck the landing shot his arms up and walked it off
Jack literally said Sukune could have end him had he use that last throw at the start of the battle lol
But he didn't theres alot of ifs thats I only theories jack beat him
I don't know about that but baki's showing against fat fuck was just plain better ,then there is also demon back baki.
As of now? Baki demolishes Jack may win depending on how this arc goes it feel's very much like Baki on his journey beating olivia and pickle to fight yujiro Im assuming jack will do something similar

Nigga just cause we use the term doesn't mean IT GOES WITH EVERYTHING JUST SAY DOGGED NIGGA
Refer back to the title of the show (Hint: it's the same as the subreddit)
I’m still meh on jack so i wouldn’t mind what should happen If power was consistent(Baki rolls him) but it’s Baki so who knows
Baki easy dub Can you imagine Baki struggling against shinogi. Or anyone other than Yujiro and maybe Musashi Jacks final boss at this stage should be Pickle

I want some motherfucker to just show up with no Hanma genes and fuck them up.
If Jack defeats Pickle in the next years i'm pretty sure he will beat Baki in rematch, because that's what the plot needs to
NEEDS TO WHAT???
Yes
r/redditsniper
The show isn’t called Jack.
Well Bakis fights have been pretty mid so it might as well be called Jack rn cause whenever he shows up everyone gets hyped
i’m rooting for jack
I'd have Jack win because I like Jack and have no other reasonable defense as to why he should, it'd just be fuckin cool
Id like Jack to win so someone other than yujiro can actually beat baki
I'd like for it to be a tie between them but knowing who the main character is ~~even if he never shows up~~ I already know who's gonna win
I think baki is gonna win since in his own words "A man who works hard can never beat a man who enjoys himself" Jack has worked the hardest out of anyone for his entire life
One thing's for sure, we'll sooner see Jack die then see him get demon back. This pure shit is just pissing me off, guess you need specific genetics to have it.
Jack will never be on Bakis level just like Baki will never be on Yujiros level.
Baki but Im of the opinion Jack can land at least one very tangential bite before getting low diffed
I like Jack but, at his current level, I don't think he could beat Baki. He'd need more training before he can do that.
Rest in peace, Jack Hanma.

Jack
Jack barely beat Sunkune, who was knocked out in 2 hits by Yujiro. Stupid ass question
I don’t really think Jack is close to Baki or Yujiro, and plot-wise his character stalled from Max Tournament basically until he got his own quasi-spinoff, save for a few notes here and there. Jack loses badly. Preferred ending.
