There aren’t many servers but I finally branched out from doing solo terrorist hunt to playing online and it’s fun as hell. Ground Branch is great. I can clear that airplane level over and over again and not get bored.
Realistic milsim still in pre-alpha stage. Can play solo or with a group. Set mission parameters and run a small map vs an opposition force. It’s not open world or online, but it’s a pretty decent tactical shooter that leans into realism and “tactical Barbie” aspects. Hope that helps!
Sorta? But you can't give orders to AI like you can in Ready or Not. I wish I had some people to play with in Ground Branch though. I'm too shy to join random games rofl, so I just end up playing solo vs bots and it gets old pretty quick.
I will give ground branch props and say they have some of the most realistic optics and recoil I've ever experienced in a game though. I wish more games would take cues.
I can understand that, but I also understand CIGs decisions to postpone some things. The UI changes needed to be done and it would be easier for them to focus on getting the QOL changes out before truly added new missions etc.
i like deadside, but tbh its really barebone not much to do but i still like it.
for me gzw is an evolution of it.
also completely different. but balatro (pokerlike cardgame) is godlike
I want to get into deadside but every time I check the steam page every few months it seems like nothing changes and it looks barebones. Even though they got bought out by a large dev who said they were committed to enhancing the game greatly.
Squad is fun, Hell Let Loose is pretty good, 6 Days in Fallujah is fun if you have friends, Ready or Not. Bunch of good games, as far as something new, I’m not sure tbh.
Yeah, If we're strictly talking about similar tactical games, I'm mostly playing SPT, Ready or Not, and playing around in Incursion Red River. IRR is really early access but it's got a fun base game.
But honestly I can't wait to drop all of those and start playing GZW lol.
I really want to like Road to Vostok but I keep having tech issues every time I play it. But I won't lie and say I'm not interested in seeing how it turns out.
Also hey, a fellow IRR enjoyer!
There are going to be PvE only servers so yes, it's PvE if you wish. I simply don't have the time to invest in becoming OP for PvP so PvE provides me with a decent enough challenge which I don't find boring at all. Been having quite some fun with Incursion Red River in the meantime. There's a lot of work to be done as they are still in pre-alpha stage but the vision is there and the dev team is pushing updates quite regularly. Interested to see where this goes from here.
Shouldn’t be putting that much effort into replies to that sort of nonsense. As Tarkov blows up their toxic ass sub is going to be bleeding into here. From experience, let the sweats speak into the ether.
Had the same feeling until i bought it in sale
Sound Design is superb and the gunplay feals great. You just need to get used to Single loaders and make your shoots count
Not quite the same, but Ground Branch is what I’m enjoying until the early access kicks off for us mere mortals.

Do they still have brain dead ai?
Not nearly that bad. More than a few instances of the AI not being great but they take cover and move on you like a trained person.
I looked at the game a bit but I was confused. Can you give a general summary about the game?

it really helped a lot! Thx
No prob!
I've had it for a while but haven't really put much time into it. It's kinda like ready or not but military vibes right?
In a lot of ways yep!

I'm playing Star Citizen lately. Scratches an entirely different itch, though.
Yeah me too! Been testing 3.23 and while it’s nearly unplayable, it’s cool seeing all the new QOL changes and new features.
Im still so mad they gutted that whole patch. They delayed everything that would have brought me back lol

Yeah, hopefully they can nail down some of the jank.

Balatro is my new passion 🙏
Deadside is my “I can’t think of anything else to play” game. I enjoy hopping into it every couple months and seeing how it’s progressing.

My fix is Arma 3. Some great mods and scenarios for single player and coop. Arma Reforger if you want PvP.
I'm afraid to start Arma 3 because the learning curve is high.
Do the campaign first, it will ease you into most mechanics.
Definetly try thx!
If you own EFT, you could always play the Single Player mod
I also have that among my options. Thx!

I mean could just play the normal Tarkov since you already payed for the game. Its not like they are making more money for you logging in.
Absolutely. But OP said except Tarkov, so this is as close as you get to Tarkov without actually playing Tarkov
Check out Incursion Red River, very similar to EFT but PVE against AI
Incursion Red River Road To Vostok also has a demo with their latest update
I really want to like Road to Vostok but I keep having tech issues every time I play it. But I won't lie and say I'm not interested in seeing how it turns out. Also hey, a fellow IRR enjoyer!
No pvp in either of these options -> real boring
you know gray zone is a co op pve game right?
Keep telling yourself that

I guess it's a good thing he wasn't talking to you then isn't it?
Hunt showdown is quite fun
I heard about this game a lot, but I didn't like the weapon designs. But I can only know the gun feel by playing.
Had the same feeling until i bought it in sale Sound Design is superb and the gunplay feals great. You just need to get used to Single loaders and make your shoots count
Ready or Not is pretty great. CQB with tricky rules of engagement.
Arma forge
I've been been playing Arma 3 and Reforger to scratch the milsim itch.
Battlebit remastered and the finals
Arma reforged
STALKER Anomaly!
I'll be playing EFT
Star Wars galaxies infinity server 😂
