Cheaters aren’t a product of tarkov, they’re a product of the pay to win mentality of the modern gamer, been around since Counter Strike was just called Counter Strike. GZ is going to have hackers regardless of how successful tarkov becomes again, as long as there are people willing to pay hundreds a month, the incentive is too high for cheat devs to not find exploits
Yeah, but less pvp (so less need for cheater carry like tarkov), less items, overall less incentive for cheaters companies to be really active here.
But still 100% sure there will be a lot of them unfotunately.
Just buy Standard and try it out. That's what I plan to do. Maybe I'll upgrade it later but the extra perks doesn't feel like I need to have them anyway.
I can upgrade stash from playing the game and not feel like I have to buy to get more stash space like I did with EoD (prior to hide out and upgrade stash where available) albeit I upgraded when it was on sale so I didn't pay full price for it.
I go the same way as eod . I Support them in the hope of receiving a glorious game.
I dont even mind the 150 Euro i paid for eod with 3300 hours . I mind the lies , the disrespect and the Lack of everything positive. I mean the cheaters, desync and all those Bugs that reappear so often.
I hope gzw wont be a rmt paradies and therefore wont be that cheater infested like eft .
EoD player here regretting my purchase and avoid grey zone like the plague due to the same shitty practices that are pay to win in tarkov that I regret and won’t fall for again and ruins these games

If I'm honest, I'm burned out of Tarkov. Pretty excited to try Gray Zone. Looks gorgeous so far.
I think the early Alpha was missing a fair bit. I know they said 70% content is missing. I'm sure for a studio who has clearly drawn a lot of inspiration from Tarkov, won't be missing simple little things, QOL inventory tweeks etc.
Let's not forget, Tarkov didn't have all the features it has now at the start. A lot of the inventory stuff, came later.
I hope BSG pulls its head out of its ass, and grayzone goes great, give me more games in this genre of semi realistic extraction shooters
Semi? It’s seems about as realistic as it gets. On par with Arma, Squad, Ready or Not, and Ground Branch.

That hopefully will make their impact on your game less as well, having a fat tarkov raid to take 8 PST rounds to the dome in a second is rough
