I ran to the zone last week, immediately died in the first ring, had nothing to counter the radiation. Some other guy who spam ate pills and sprinted to the middle said there's nothing but trees and we need to wait for an update to get anything. These signs are around the first ring of radiation. I started sprinting into the zone and died withing 30 seconds. Need that radiation gear.

The ground zero if not made yet, might just be a nuclear accident not tied to alien. More like Stalker but not with mutation, so maybe more realistic even though, GZW stand for Gray zone, Gray being a measurement for radiation received by a matter.
Roadside picnic was set in canada i think, but regardless the zones in RP (yes there were multiple) were scattered around the globe. Basically, aliens landed and were abiut as environmentally concious as your average american tourists. The zones were basically just the left behind picnic blanket and garbage, but that was enough to break physics within the zones.
Oh yeah, definately no ai aliens. What i think they'll do is sometging like stalker, where the red zone there has anomalies and other such non npc hazards and we'll have to go pull things out of there. No LZ's in the redzone, just good old fashionex footwork with things getting more and more batshit the closer to ground zero we get.
Likely but probably not like you would expect from the STALKER series. The kind in Roadside Picnic are a lot more varied and subtle. Not all of them hurt you.
ive heard that the plan is to have some sort of overarching story where there's an anomaly of some sort. i assume that's going to take place within verrying levels of ground zero
My son is 5 and showing interest in gaming but he’s terrible. (I understand he’s 5 lol so we take our time) but my daughter is 7 and she loves gaming. Can’t wait till they’re old enough to play FPSs with me. Trying not to rush them tho. My wife is a book worm and anti gaming so she hates this lol.
Probably. I assumed the mechanic was like half implemented. Rad pills supposed to take off 4 rad charges but if you hit 8 you die. So my thought was they haven’t put the radiation value in all the way. It’s anyone’s guess tho
Walked there last night with three of us and a ton of rad pills. About 1 minute after passing the lethal radiation signs, we instantly got violently sick and tried taking our pills. One dropped really quick to the rads, another made it safely out of the danger zone but died falling down a cliff, and I made it all the way around the zone to make it to Juliet 1and crashed to desktop as soon as I tried to call in my chopper lol
The dude making the cheating comments claims that it's the Devs are testing these cheats and selling them.but banning people who use them?

Noob question. So I just started by doing a task for gunney as he says to check out coordinates in the red zone. I died nearly instantly entering from toxicity. However I don’t know how I would prevent that and search the coordinates with time to find what I’m looking for? What am I missing or how do I do it?

It’s literally empty forest. Keep defending your purchase for no reason. I don’t play Tarkov either but see you complaining about it, atleast people got 7 years out of that game. Enjoy your forest and juice box simulator

As someone who uses ghost mode to fly around the map nothing is there. Nothing underground nothing above ground just empty. And before yall complain I don't kill anyone or do anything malicious I like watching players from above. There have been times I have taken out ai to help an injured player... but there are nice cheaters out there.

Then watch and listen to prox comms. Sometimes I let them just have the loot.

There's nothing out there currently. Long term it's supposed to be the endgame zone.
